Chapter 1: The New Guy!

On an unusually foggy day in July, Clark finds himself falling into lala land as he stares at the picture of Lana Lang, his ex-girlfriend and the one true love of his life. How he misses them long horseback rides together through his field. But they would never be and deep down Clark knew that. He had a secret and its safety came before everything else. If she ever found out he don't know how she would react and that's what scared him the thought of losing her all together. But still he couldn't help thinking how it would feel just to be with her and know that nothing could tear them apart and feeling her love everyday after he got home from his long day of work. Oh how he'd love to just grab her up and…

“Clark, Just what I thought another fantasy about the great Lana Lang”, Chloe snapped from the stairs of Clarks loft. Chloe always was jealous of Lana for secretly she loved Clark too and she knew of his secret, she just couldn't get through to Clark through them Lana blinders he always had on.

“Chloe, My god u startled me”, Clark panted as he tried to slow his racing heart. “What are you doing here this late?”

“Well I just thought you'd like to know we now have a new member to our little town,” Chloe said happily.

“You mean to tell me you drove all the way over here just to let me know someone new has moved to Smallville?” Clark snapped

“I see your still mad that I woke you up out of your little Lana fantasy and you know what there was more to the story but I guess you don't want to hear it so I'll just leave.” Chloe sneered. Why does he always have to worry about Lana? Doesn't he realize that he has other friends and that some of us really do more than just like him. Chloe thought.

“No wait, I'm sorry that I snapped I'm just going through some things right now and I'm not all their u might say!” Clark exclaimed as Chloe turned to walk down the stairs.

Chloe stopped and turned around still seeming upset but still she continued with her story. “Well OK now that I got your attention for once, this boy is not ordinary I mean I don't even know where he comes from there's absolutely no record of his birth at all. It's almost like he never even existed, no social security number, nothing not even an old library card.”

“Wow that's weird but you don't think he's from another planet do you? I mean just because I'm kind of in the same situation with records and all I still don't think he could be from anywhere else and Krypton's long gone.” Clark replied

“I'm not sure but this definitely is classified for the Wall of Weird. Oh and another thing I almost forgot the doctors who found him say that his bone structure and even his blood is so much different from that of an ordinary human.” Chloe added as she watched Clarks face become even more serious

“Hold up now I'm missing something, u said they found him, where and was he hurt when they found him or u know anything else that can help because truthfully Chloe I'm so confused right now.” Clark spoke as he tried to organize this whole situation in his head.

“ Well they found him collapsed out in front of Lex's mansion, not a mark on him. The doctors say that they think he's made a long journey of some sort and that he just ran out of energy as he got to the mansion. But the funny thing is they found a note on him that's written in a language that only you could understand. Kryptonian!” Chloe finished as Clark stood and grabbed his coat.

“We're going to go see him now I need some answers out of him and I don't care how I have to get it!” Clark yelled as he ran towards the barn door and out towards Cloe's car.

Chloe followed at a distance not knowing what Clark was capable of doing in the state he was in. She had never in all her life seen him truly mad or frightened for that matter but it seemed that the mention of this new guy just brought out all the rage. Chloe made it to her car and without saying a word drove at an excessive speed towards Smallville Medical Center where the mystery man was being held or so they thought.
