Chapter 2: The Meeting

They arrived at the medical center just twenty minutes before visiting hours were over. And for Clark that was just enough time to get the answers he wanted out of this mysterious boy or so her thought. They arrived at the room but it looked empty no light at all was on yet the charts were still outside the door.

“They call him Dark Stallion, wow what a weird name he's got to be from somewhere else there is no other answer.' Chloe stated as her journalist eyes scanned his charts for any other clues.

“Excuse me Ms. Sullivan but them papers are confidential, and it would be really nice of you to put them down and quit trying to study me!” A voice commanded but from where.

“Clark did you just hear that?” Chloe whispered as she stepped even closer to Clark's side

“No I didn't hear anything!” Clark replied this is just her way of getting close to me Clark thought to himself and for some reason I kinda enjoy it.

“If you didn't hear that then we got to get the hell out of here because this guy is one serious freak.” Chloe replied as she shockingly tried to pull Clark the other way.

“No need to fear Ms. Sullivan I mean you no harm, I'm not here to hurt anyone really. But I do have a mission that I must carry out and it would be really helpful if I didn't have reporters studying me while I try to work.” The voice came again this time in a more softer compassionate tone

“What are you and why am I the only one who can hear you?” Chloe thought to herself.

“My name is Dark Stallion but you can just call me Michael if you'd like, and to answer your other question you are the only one I want to hear me so you are the only one who will at least for right now that is.” Dark.S finished “You and your friend come on inside I promise I won't hurt you and then I can answer all the questions you need.” “But there is one thing I must have your word that nothing I say to you or your friend will ever be repeated while I am here upon this earth.”

“You have my journalists word,” Chloe thought to herself as she pulled Clark into Michael's room.

“So nice of you two to join me!” Michael sneered “ So what do u need to know Ms.Sullivan and as for you Clark please take a seat if you don't want the nurses to see you in here.

Clark sat down almost immediately but he never intended to sit down. “Why, how did I just sit down with not wanting too?” Clark thought to himself

“OK where did u come from and what business do u have here in Smallville?” Chloe abruptly asked as she got straight to the tough ones first.

“Well it truly is a long story, but if u must know I will tell u.” “It all started about 19 years ago I lived on Krypton then and myself and your father Clark were the best of friends.” “We did everything together just like you and Ms. Sullivan.” “But then about a month before Krypton exploded me and your father got into a huge fight and he and his crew strapped be down and took me away from the planet.” “A blessing really if I must say because if I would have stayed I would have surely died just as he did.” “ Well what he did was he had his crew fly me out towards the sun as far as they could and I was supposed to be released there.” “But of course these men we're lazy and they stopped right along Saturn.” They strapped my body too the rings around the planet and left me there to die. “ Amazingly though I managed to live on until the time came when Krypton was destroyed.” Fragments of the planet brushed along side me hitting the rings and eventually ripping the material I had been tied there with. As I continued to float freely I managed to grab my hand onto your ship as you flew into orbit. The flight almost killed me but I was strong I made my way through the atmosphere safely.” But our paths got crossed when a meteor hit me and I ended up landing a good distance away from here in a place called Japan. And then almost immediately I started the search looking for you but things have been kept so quiet that I just now found you.” Michael finished

“You mean to tell me your Kryptonian?” What makes you think that I will believe you, goodness you look no older than 19 or 20 there's no way you could have been friends with my father.” Clark yelled

“Keep your voice down son, I am where I say I am from and I will be staying here until my mission is complete and then I will leave your little town Smallville and you can be just as alone as you wanna be!” Michael finished “Now tomorrow they are releasing me from this place so I guess I will see you 2 in the place that these humans call school. Until then though be careful and do not mention my name to anyone.” Michael finished rather sharply.

“It was nice meeting you Michael and we will see you tomorrow I school I do hope,” Chloe said as she motioned Clark through the door.

The two of them made there way home as each of them was lost in their own thoughts, trying to make sense of what they we're just told. Tomorrow's another day though and there is no telling what will await them at school. Chloe thinks to herself as she drops Clark off and makes her way home.
