Chapter 4: Betrayal

"Then face the consequences!" - Black Ghost

Before he could accelerate, he felt a strong blow. It was strong enough that it blew him to the next cliff, which was 30 yards away!

"Woah..." - 009

"I wonder who did that?" - 002

"Hello, fellow rebels."

Everyone looked up to where Black Ghost was standing and saw Yami.

"Yami!" - Shizuka

"He's okay." - Mokuba

"Figures." - Kaiba

'Something's not right. He may look like him but he sure didn't have those evil eyes before.' - Bakura

Shizuka was about to greet Yami when she was held back by Bakura.

"WAIT!" - Bakura

Shizuka stopped then turned to Bakura.

"That's not Yami." - Bakura

'Wha? What's does he mean?" - Shizuka

"Heheheh..."

Shizuka turned to face "Yami". His eyes were dark red like a killer. His clothing was ripped apart and he had blood covering his arms and chest.

"I can't believe your friend was this weak to be taken over." - Yami

"Who are you?" - 009

"The name's Kagai, not Yami. Your friend is gone." - Kagai

"Destroy them, 0019!" - Black Ghost

"WHA?!" - Mokuba

"Get outta the way" - 002

Without warning, the group was shot by a dark sphere. They were able to get out just in time but Bakura took most of the damage.

"BAKURA!" - Shizuka

Bakura stood up. His clothes partly rip showing his knees and chest.

"BAKURA! Are ya gonna be ok?" - Mokuba

"..." - Bakura

"Bakura?" - Shizuka

"...heheheheh...NYAHAHAHA!" - Bakura

'What with him?' - Kagai/Yami

"You fool. You may control his mind but since you used all your power just to bust him out, you became weak. Why, if Yami was at full strentgh, he would have killed me with one shot." - Bakura

"..." - Kagai/Yami

"If you think you can defeat me then release Yami and fight me in your true form." - Bakura

"Bakura, no!" - Shizuka

Bakura looked at Shizuka with his purple eyes. Once she looked at them, she calmed down.

"Kaiba, bring your brother and Shizuka with those rebels." - Bakura

"But what abou-" - Mokuba

"JUST GO!" - Bakura.

"You ready, tomb robber?" - Kagai

"Sorry, but only people from my past can call me that. From you, it's disgrace." - Bakura

Then 'Yami' began to glow dark purple, creating a black dome around them.

"So, 0017. Ya wanna see me in my true form? Then here it is!" - Kagai

Once the dome was complete, Yami fell unconsious while a dark shadow crawled out of him.

"So this is your true form?" - Bakura

[You don't wat itz like. I have ta go through different bodies just stay alive. But here seems to help me make a body of my own.] - Kagai

"Someone, anyone! Help!"

Bakura looked around and saw many souls appearing and drawing toward Kagai. He saw a soul of a young girl.

"Please help!"

"......YOU MONSTER!" - Bakura

Bakura ran toward Kagai and punched him in the stomach. When he did, all the souls, including the little girl's, flew away.

'Go back home, young one.' - Bakura

Kagai wiped off the drooling blood off his mouth.

'What da heck? He wasn't supposed ta do dat!' - Kagai

"You beckoned the shadows yet you were so weak to control them." - Bakura

'No...." - Kagai

Bakura's millenium ring began to glow.

"I banish you to the Shadow Realm, Kagai." - Bakura

"NO!" - Kagai

'What's taking so long?' - Shizuka

Shizuka, Kaiba, and Mokuba were waiting outside for Bakura and Yami.

"Hey! 0014, 0016, 0017! We gotta go!" - 009

Kaiba was heading into the Dolphin, but hesitated when he looked behind him and saw no Mokuba or Shizuka.

'No...' - Kaiba

"0014! Where's 0016 and 0017?" - 003

"I have ta find them! Wait here!" - Kaiba

Kaiba accelerated toward the huge black dome and saw Shizuka and Mokuba standing close to it.

"Mokuba!" - Kaiba

"Nisama! What are you doing here?" - Mokuba

"Here to ask the same question." - Kaiba

"Bakura and Yami have been in there for a very long time." - Shizuka

"I hope they're ok." - Mokuba

'Me too.' - Kaiba

Just then the dome slowly dissappeared, revealing a wounded Bakura carrying Yami.

"Yami! Bakura!" - Shizuka

"They're ok!" - Mokuba

"0016!"

The group turned around and saw the eight cyborgs running toward them. (001 is being carried by 003)

"Is your friend ok?" - 003

"Yeah. He's just tired from being controlled." - Bakura

"Come on! We gotta go before those soldiers in black come!" - 009
