Chapter 5: The Living Dead

In the wide ocean, Shizuka was sitting in the infirmary. She was watching Yami. After all what has happened, it was alright for him to rest.

'Please be alright, Yami. We can't lose you too.' - Shizuka

"What do ya mean you're not staying?!" - 002

At the control room, Bakura announced that he has to leave.

"Look, it's nice that you helped me, but me and the ph-" - Bakura

"YOU CAN'T LEAVE! YOU'LL JUST GET CAPTURED BY BLACK GHOST!" - Mokuba

"Besides, they might have killed the others." - Kaiba

"Others?" - 007

"Otogi, Mai, Isis, Marik, Rashid...They could be all dead." - Kaiba

"But you must stay." - 003

"003's right. If you leave, the possibility of you getting caught is high." - 004

"Plus, none of you know all your powers." - Dr. Gilmore

"Powers?" - Bakura

"Yes. Now who should I start with?...Ah yes, 0014 a.k.a Seto Kaiba. Your powers is as you know already, acceleration, your body is like 004, and you, 15 and 17 have the most extraordinary powers I have ever heard of." - Dr. Gilmore

"What do you mean by that?" - Kaiba

"You mean the ability to summon Duel Monsters?" - Bakura

"Yes...but how did you know, 0017?" - Dr. Gilmore

"Before I met up with the Pharaoh and his gang, the scientist told me of my other powers. Acceleration, shape shifting, DNA of a fox, and time controller." - Bakura

"Time controller?" - 008

"Means that he can control time." - Dr. Gilmore

"I guess I don't need to explain your powers, 0017." - Dr. Gilmore

"..." - Bakura

"Now for 0016's powers. your's are invisibility, samurai skills, and controller of fire." - Dr. Gilmore

"...wow..." - Mokuba

"0015's powers are very similiar to 009's only with one diffierence." - Dr.Gilmore

"Which is what?" - 005

"He can control the Shadow Realm." - Dr. Gilmore

"So that's why I couldn't de-summon the realm. Darn you, Black Ghost." - Bakura

"I bet you loved summoning that place, right tomb-robber?"

"Yeah. It's fun to see people scre..HEY!" - Bakura

Everyone turned to the door and saw Yami standing with Shizuka behind him.

'How I dispise you, pharaoh." - Bakura

"I just want to know one thing, how come you call him pharaoh and he calls you tomb-robber?" - 007

"Yes, we would like an answer." - 006

"...I rather not talk about it. Brings back hurtful memories." - Bakura

"I also rather not say anything at all." - Yami

Yami left the room while Shizuka walked to Mokuba.

"So he's discussing our powers, Mokuba?" - Shizuka

"Yeah! And mine are cool!" - Mokuba

"You were about to say one more thing about Yami's powers, are you finished?" - Shizuka

"No. Sadly, this is one of the powers that none of you would like to carry." - Dr. Gilmore

"What do you mean by that, Dr. Gilmore?" - 001

It took about six hours to get to their destination, Dr. Kozumi's house. Everyone got out and greeted. While everyone was at the nearby city, Yami was standing at the porch, fixing his deck. (RSX: cewl he still got his deck!)

'Maybe I should go. It may keep my mind off about the virus.' - Yami

"YAMI!" - Shizuka

Yami looked up and saw Shizuka with Joe and Francoise.

"Come on, Yami. Let's go to the city." - Shizuka

(Note to all readers: When ever the group are out, I go by their names but when go fighting bad guys, I go by their cyborg names.)

"Maybe later." - Yami

Shizuka was watching Yami put his lastcard, the Dark Magician, into his deck.

"Come on. Even Bakura is going with us." - Joe

"The more the reason to stay here." - Yami

"?" - Joe and Francoise

Shizuka pulled them away from Yami.

"He and Yami have a bad relationship as 'friends' back when we were humans." - Shizuka

"...ok..." - Joe and Francoise

As they walked toward the city, Yami went back inside and saw Mokuba playing video games, Kaiba reading novels, and Bakura learning karate.

"OY! Yami-kun! Wanna play DOA 3?" - Mokuba

"Wha?" - Yami

"Um...I mean Dead or Alive 3, it's a fighting game." - Mokuba

Yami looked at the screen and saw people fighting in unusual clothes.

"No, but thanks." - Yami

Yami went toward the back of the house.

"I can't believe I'm gonna say this." - Bakura

"What?" - Everyone else

"Someone's gotta cheer him up." - Bakura

"...Wow, Bakura-kun. Never knew you were so nice." - Mokuba

"Shut it..." - Bakura

At the city, Shizuka, Joe and Francious were finished shopping for their needed materials.

"Boy, I can't believe you have to buy all this all the time." - Shizuka

"Ya, but when you live with eleven or ten mouths to feed, ya gotta have a lot." - Joe

"Hey, you!"
