Perfect Weakness

Child Prey

The music is loud, blaring, and his head is spinning… Allen is with Lavi, at a club, one where the DJ is playing music, loud, so loud. The boy closes his eyes, bumping into the redhead, his skin igniting at the contact. He opens his mouth, tries to suck in proper oxygen as Lavi grabs his shoulders, turns him so they are facing one another.

The young man runs his hands along him, along his sides and Allen shivers, the sound of the music throbbing against his skull. He is trying to understand what is happening, why everything feels so…fuzzy

He licks his lips, Lavi's hands holding onto his waist, guiding him as they continue to move, to dance as the other has put it. Allen has told him no, has said he would watch the table with Linalee… and then he had taken a drink from the redhead's glass…

The song changes, becomes something more hectic and the boy raises his arms up, enjoying the sensations of having hands on him. His feet hurt, ache so much from the heeled boots Linalee has put him in… He doesn't care though, not when everything else feels so…

Lavi shouts something, at someone behind him. Allen is pulled close to him, gasps as his body comes in contact with the other. He feels tingly and it is not unpleasant… The boy groans as the redhead continues to snap at someone for something. He raises his hands, pushes against the strong chest. The music is starting to fade and he feels like he needs something to drink.

The club goes silent as the lights shift, the bright flashing ones are turned off and the stage is lit up. Allen blinks through his haze, looks up, over at the stage. He is shoved forward as more people try to get closer to the band, closer to those on the stage. Lavi laughs as he is shoved up against him, as he almost trips and falls to the floor.

“Yuu-chan sure is popular,” His speech is fine but there is something in it that tells Allen he isn't quite right at the moment.

“Who's that…?” Allen tries to push some people back, tries to create some semblance of personal space.

“Welcome to the show…” His attention is drawn to the man on the stage, to the one who has just spoken, to the one whose voice is so…alluring…that it has sent a chill down the boy's spine.

“It's him! The one from before!” Allen turns to Lavi, surprised to see Kanda again. The redhead laughs, wraps his arms around the boy, bringing their bodies closer.

“That's Yuu-chan!” He speaks into his ear feeling the shiver that runs through the other. The platinum blond nods as he is suddenly shoved forward. The music starts and Allen can't help but smile, smile so brightly that Lavi thinks he might go blind. Kanda glances around the crowd, his hair pulled back in a high ponytail for the night.

He closes his eyes and starts to sing into the microphone, his words strange and enticing to everyone. With in a moment the music shifts, becomes heavier and Kanda's voice rises, angry. Allen is suddenly turned around hands on his sides again, directing him.

The platinum blond allows the other to move him, to make him dance. He is lightheaded and the sensation that runs through him every time his bare skin is touched is electrifying. The music gets louder, more hectic and Allen swears Kanda has just screamed something in English.

He licks his lips, his mouth growing strangely dry. His hair is getting soaked, the ends already wet, from sweat he vaguely assumes. Allen looks around at the people on stage, at Kanda as the song becomes so fast and hectic. He is singing into the microphone, almost speaking so fast that the boy feels dizzy trying to understand, to translate.

He turns his eyes back to Lavi, and suddenly he is falling, slipping down to the ground, his feet giving out underneath him. The redhead grabs him, pulls him up, speaks to him as the song starts to fade.

“Are you okay?”

“I'm not used ta heels…” Allen slurs his speech, just a little, not enough for Lavi to notice. The sound of guitars fills the club, so loud it makes his head hurt, followed by the drums and then that voice…

The boy feels like he could fall in love hearing it…

He blinks, unable to control his thoughts as Lavi hugs him, “I love this song!” He speaks into his ear, so that he can hear. The two move a little closer to the stage, almost to where people are fighting, are hitting one another for no real reason.

Allen blinks, watches as the people shove one another about, as he realizes Kanda is saying something in English, something…

“Goodbye, Kiss you….” He swallows, licks his lips as he watches the man move about, watches as his voice becomes angry, pissed sounding. More music and he has to fight to understand what is being said…

“Goodbye, Kiss me,” Lavi jerks his arm, drags him back to where they were, to where they had been previously. Allen stumbles over his feet, drops to the floor once more.

“You okay?” The redhead grabs his skinny biceps and pulls him back up.

“Yeah…room's just movin' a little…” Allen blinks, tries to smile at the redhead. Lavi is frowning though, he opens his mouth to speak except the music gets louder, Kanda's voice over shadowing everything else. The boy shifts his feet, blinks and gasps as he feels a hand run along his exposed midriff.

“Did you have any of my drink?” Lavi is speaking in his ear, so that he can hear, except it makes the boy shudder.

“A little…I was thirsty…” His arm is suddenly pulled, is yanked as he is led through the moving crowd back to the tables in the back, where people are sitting and watching the performance. Allen groans at how tight his wrist is being held, unsure why Lavi is cursing so colorfully in both Japanese and English and something that sounds like French.

“Something happen?” Linalee asks seeing her two friends approach their booth. Lavi shoves Allen down on the empty side of the table and grabs his bag, starts to dig through it. He pulls out a water bottle and hands it to him.

“Drink all of it,” The female frowns, a little worried now. She opens her mouth to ask again when Lavi plops down beside her, pulling out another water bottle.

“Allen how much did you have?” Linalee watches as the younger male drinks half the bottle.

“I doan know…” He sets the bottle down, aware of how much his feet are throbbing now.

“Lavi you didn't?!” The female gasps looking at the redhead. He turns his single green eye onto her and she frowns, deeply.

“This isn't your type of CLUB!” She snaps, giving a worried look to Allen who has shifted in his seat, to watch Kanda on stage as another song starts, something that is rather `fuck you' heavy…

“Allen, Allen…” The female frowns as her friend pays them no attention. “AREN!” She snaps, causing him to jump and look at her. The platinum blond blinks, the room shifting a little before him.

“Hai…?” He slips down into the seat, his eyes still on the stage.

“How do you feel right now?” Lavi leans against the table, surprised at how cool it feels against his skin.

“…fine I guess…” The boy takes another drink from the bottle, looking surprised at how it is empty already.

“No, how do you feel? Anything strange…?” There is worry in Linalee's voice as she gives a nasty look at the redhead.

“A little, but I'm fine…Can we go back and watch the band?” Allen leans against the table, so that his eyes are level with Lavi's single green one.

“Yuu-chan won't be going anywhere soon, he's givin' me a ride home…and you now…”

“I can take the train…” Allen looks over at the stage, at Kanda. “So you know him well…?” It is an assumption on his part because of how Lavi keeps referring to him.

“Uh-hunh, we go to school together…” Linalee smacks the redhead on the back of his head, causing him to yelp. She looks over at Allen, her eyes still full of worry.

“Allen, you know that you can't take the train now that you've had some of Lavi's drink…” The platinum blond raises an eyebrow, the music shifting once more.

“Wha's wrong with me taking the train…?”

“Well you see…” Linalee glances down at the table, frowning lightly.

“You're HIGH!” Lavi giggles as he pushes himself up, “Enjoy it, I don't like to share my stuff.” Allen's eyes widen as he looks up at the redhead.

“WHAT!?” He yelps in a tone of voice that is not really manly. “WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!”

“You're the one who stole a sip from my glass,” The redhead crosses his arms, tilts his head to the side. “You feel great though don't you?” He smirks seeing the sudden flush on his friend's features.

“BAKA!” Linalee snaps, standing and smacking her friend again. “He's a MINOR, he's younger then ME!” Lavi pouts rubbing the back of his head, leaning across the table to grab his water. Allen groans sliding down further into his seat, no longer having any fun.

“Wha'd you do to me?” He asks again, looking at the empty water bottle.

“You're fine,” Lavi rolls his single green eye, looking back over at the stage. “Or will be later,” He adds in a softer voice. Allen runs a hand through his messy hair, having taken all of the hair clips out a while ago.

-

Allen is lying on the bench dazed and tired.

The club is quieter now, the band has stopped playing, the dancing has ended and the place is slowing down. He closes his eyes, tells himself that it'll only be for a moment before he hears someone snapping in a pissed off tone.

“Are you fucking ready to go?” Allen groans at the sound, his head feeling strangely heavy.

“Hai, but we have to make a detour…” The boy pulls his eyes open, surprised to see Lavi leaning over the table. “OH you're awake?” He pushes himself up, his feet hurting more then ever now.

“…uh-hunh…” He moves his hand to his head, the room shifting some.

“What the fuck do you mean a detour?” The other voice snaps, clearly pissed at the idea. It is then that Allen recognizes it, realizes just who it is. His head snaps up and he stares at Kanda who is standing a few steps away from them, his arms crossed over his chest.

He looks as if he has cleaned up some since the end of the show. The man looks down at him, blue eyes meeting clear and Allen can't help but flush, but feel like he is meeting someone important.

“You have blue eyes?” He asks, still unable to control his thoughts and actions at the moment.

“I am NOT taking this little fucker home.” Kanda turns to glare at Lavi who just smiles brightly at him.

“Awe, but Yuu-chan! He missed the last train already and I couldn't send him out into public in the state he's in…”

“Say my name fucker and I am leaving you here.” Allen watches as the strange blue eyes narrow in distaste.

“You're first name is Yuu?” Allen blinks surprised at himself. He shakes his head, his hand over his mouth. Kanda just stares down at him, frowning.

“You were at my last show, with that Lolita…” The boy looks up, smiles his award winning smile and nods.

“His name's Allen,” Lavi points out pulling him to his feet. He stumbles in his shoes, the heels, and drops to the ground. Kanda watches with no sign of amusement as the redhead falls with him.

“You're both high?” He growls out, mentally trying to gage the boy's age.

“He wasn't meant to be,” Lavi is fighting down a fit of giggles as Allen pouts. “But he had some of my drink…”

“How hold is the Moyashi anyways? Twelve? Thirteen?”

“I am…” And Allen pauses, tries to recall his age in his foggy brain, “…fifteen…” He adds definitively before realizing something else. “And my name is not Moyashi!” Lavi gives a light laugh as he pulls himself up.

“Moyashi-Chan I like that,” He takes Allen's upper arms and pulls him up. “We must take you home though, or you're parents will be worried…”

“I live alone…” The boy frowns, covering his mouth suddenly. He shakes his head, reminding himself he has to learn some self control until he sobers up. Kanda glares at the two, his face looking pissed.

“Get to the fucking car or I'm leaving your asses behind.” He snaps before turning and heading towards the exit. Lavi is stunned and can only blink at the man's back.

“He didn't put up much of a fight…” He turns to Allen, a rather large smile plastered on his face. “Yuu-chan must like you!” The boy groans as he is lead out of the club, and off to where the man's car is parked.

“Oooh looks like you cleaned!” Lavi says as he helps the platinum blond into the back seat of the small, shiny black car. Allen flops down unceremoniously as he is belted in. He listens to the Asian man grumble and complain about something to himself as Lavi takes the front passenger seat.

“Where the fuck does he live?” Kanda growls as he starts the car.

“Here,” Allen blinks and gasps seeing what the redhead is holding.

“My student handbook!” He leans forward and tries to snatch it from the other, failing miserably.

“You can have it back when you get home,” Lavi leans back, over the seat, patting the boy on the head.

“SIT THE FUCK DOWN!” The redhead is suddenly pulled back into his seat as the car takes a sharp turn.

“Awe but Yuu-Chan!” Lavi leans towards the dark haired man with a pout on his face. “I was only petting Moyashi-chan, he liked it to!”

“Did not!” Allen snaps from the back.

“SIT PROPERLY!” Lavi is suddenly shoved against the door, Kanda's arm gripping his shoulder hard enough to bruise. “AND IF YOU SAY MY NAME AGAIN I WILL KICK YOU OUT OF THE DAMN CAR!” The redhead groans as the grip tightens before being removed.

“Why do you have to be so rough!”

“Because you're fucking retarded, getting a twelve year old high! What are you a pedophile?”

“I'm fifteen!”

“You hesitated when you said it!” Kanda growls as the car comes to a sudden halt at a red light.

“I didn't do it on purpose!” Lavi whines, pouting at the Asian man. “It's his fault, don't yell at me!”

“I didn't know any better!” Allen snaps, a little louder then before.

“You still shouldn't have had any of my drink!” Lavi turns and half glares at his friend.

“I didn't know any better!”

“SHUT THE FUCK UP!” Kanda snaps hitting his steering wheel, vaguely feeling like a parent breaking up a fight between two kids. The light changes and he hits the gas peddle, the small black car speeding down the road. Allen groans at the sensation, feeling light headed again.

“YUU SLOW DOWN ALLEN LOOKS LIKE HE'S GOING TO BE SICK!” The car is suddenly pulled over into a parking lot and comes to a screeching halt. Kanda turns around and stares at Allen, a look of pure hatred on his face.

“If you fucking puke in here I will personally remove your limbs starting with the shortest one, and YOU,” The man turns to face Lavi who is pressing himself against the car door, hands held up in surrender.

“IF YOU DON'T STOP SAYING MY GODDAMN NAME I WILL KICK YOU OUT OF THIS CAR AND LET THE DAMN BUSINESS MEN HAVE AT YOU!” Kanda glares at the two a moment before facing forward and driving off, at a slightly slower pace.

They arrive at the apartment building Allen lives in with in a few minutes, the rest of the car ride having been silent. Kanda pulls up in front of the building and puts the car in park. Lavi turns and hands Allen his student handbook, smiling.

“It's been fun, think you can make it inside with out me?”

“Pedophile,” Kanda grumbles from his seat, earning a pout from the redhead.

“We're not like that-”

“I'm not dating him!” Allen snaps from the back seat, tired and exhausted. He grabs his student handbook from the redhead and opens the car door. The platinum blond pulls himself up and stumbles a bit. He hears Kanda growl from the front seat.

“Stay in the fucking car, I am NOT looking for you if you get out.” Kanda turns the engine off, and climbs out. He pockets his keys as Allen leans against the car trying to regain his balance.

“I ONLY DID THAT ONCE!” Lavi shouts back, crossing his arms and pouting as the doors are slammed shut. Allen jumps as Kanda grabs his arm in a firm grip.

“What floor do you live on?”

“N-ninth…” The boy mutters, shivering suddenly. Kanda ignores it as he leads him inside. He takes him over to the elevator and presses the button. Allen staggers, leans against the wall of the elevator once inside.

“You know, your band is good…” He says after a moment and then smiles, smiles despite how strange he feels. Kanda glances at him, his expression still the same. He says nothing as the doors ding and then open.

“What number?” He asks in a bored manner.

“Last door…” Allen stiffens as he feels large hands on his shoulders, directing him down the hall. They come to a halt in front of the door and the boy begins to dig through his pockets.

“Here it is!” He smiles, pulls the key out and tries to unlock his door. Kanda growls and snatches it from Allen when he misses the lock on the third try. He unlocks the door and lets the boy stumble inside. He drops to the floor and crawls a few feet before sitting down.

“Thank you,” Allen yawns as the key is tossed inside. He looks up at Kanda, smiles again despite the look he is being given.

“Baka Moyashi,” The door is shut before a protest can be given.

-

Allen groans as a weight climbs on his chest, as it walks in a circle before sitting down. He shifts, rolls over onto his stomach knocking the weight off. It jumps back, sits between his shoulder blades this time.

“Tim, doan tell me you ate all your food already…” The boy groans as he feels claws brush against his back, fluffing his shirt. A purring sound starts up, the claws digging a little deeper. Allen makes a sound of disapproval as he pushes himself up, his blankets falling from his frame.

An orange cat, not full grown but no longer a kitten, rolls to the floor along with the blankets as Allen sits up completely. He blinks at the dimly lit room, the morning sun obscured by dark curtains. The cat sits up, rubs it's self along his arm, purring.

“Morning Timcanpy,” Allen scratches the orange cat's ears, pets her head. He pushes himself up from the futon and moves across the empty room, save for a couple of boxes pushed off to the side. He yawns, walks through the empty living room and on into the kitchen.

Tim follows silently, her tail twitching in the air. Allen opens up a cabinet and pulls out a bag of cat food and pours some into the bowl that is sitting on the floor. He returns the bag to the cabinet and moves to his fridge, pulling it open.

The boy stares in at the over flowing contents before pulling out the milk and deciding to have a bowl of cereal. He'll cook something for himself later. He plops down in the single chair in the kitchen at the decent sized table and almost takes a bite of his cereal when he hears his phone go off in the other room.

Allen frowns, slowly making his way back across the apartment to where his phone is plugged into the wall. He picks it up and answers, trying to stifle his yawn.

“…ello?”

“Allen, did you get home alright?” Linalee's voice is worried sounding as it floats through the speaker. “Are you okay now?”

“Yeah…I'm fine…” The platinum blond sits back down at the table and continues to eat.

“So you're going to school today?” The female sounds surprised, almost shocked.

“Yeah, I'm fine, nothing's wrong…”

“Alright, well I just wanted to see how you felt incase I needed to collect your make up work… I'll see you soon then, Nii-san's finished breakfast and wants me off the phone…” Allen gives a quick good bye before hanging up.

-

Linalee is already seated when Allen walks into the classroom. He is dressed in virtually the same uniform, a white button up shirt, black tie, black sweater, red plaid pants, except in Linalee's case she is in a skirt with a black bow around her neck.

She smiles and waves at him as he takes his seat next to the window, right behind her. The petite female turns around and studies his appearance a moment before speaking.

“So you feel fine?”

“…tired since I got home late…”

“Lavi called me this morning…” Allen raises an eyebrow at this, amused at the thought of the redhead waking before noon. “He said Kanda seems to like you…” At this the boy snorts, almost laughing.

“He cursed at Lavi and me so much last night I thought he was going to kill us.”

“He said that Kanda-sempai has a short temper…” Linalee reaches up, fixes the small clip in her hair, her attention wavering. “…but he is genuinely a nice person, despite how he acts…” Allen glances out the window, squints at a student walking onto campus.

“…right…” The bell chimes, signaling the start of class…

-

The end of the day takes forever to come and even then there is still more to do. Allen is cleaning off the windows of his classroom while Linalee sweeps the floor behind him. They are the last two in the room, finishing up their chores.

“There's another concert this weekend…”

“I don't want to go…”

“But it's going to be awesome!” The female smiles, pauses in her chores as she closes her eyes, imagining the concert, “It's a different band but they're good, they're less angry sounding then Perfect Weakness and use more electronic sounds…”

“I don't know…” Allen sighs, tosses the wet paper towel in the trash. Linalee resumes sweeping, humming to herself. “I'm going to head home, I'm tired…”

“You haven't joined a club yet have you?” She asks, sweeping the dirt into the dustpan.

“Not yet, I just don't know what to choose…” Allen sighs, picks his bag up. “I'll choose next week, I'll have been here a month by then…”

“Alright, well I'll see you tomorrow, and think about the concert!” Linalee waves as he leaves the classroom. Allen heads down the hall and stairs, thinking of what he's going to make for himself when he gets home, trying to recall the entire contents of his fridge…

He heads across the courtyard and towards the front gates of the school, almost completely missing the man leaning against them. Allen pauses, stares at the persons back, blinks before shaking his head. He continues past, hoping that the man is not waiting for him.

“Moyashi, come here…” A shiver runs down the boy's spine as he turns around and frowns at the man dressed in black jeans and a tight sleeveless black shirt, at Kanda…

“What do you want?” He asks, being as polite as possible. The Asian man stares at him, an eternal frown set on his lips.

“Come with me,” Allen blinks, his mouth falls open at the others audacity.

“I don't even know you…” The boy turns and takes a few steps before a hand grips his arm. He is forcibly turned around, to face flashing blue eyes.

“Listen brat I don't have time for this, I have class soon.” Allen rips his arm away from the other.

“Then why are you here if you have class?” Kanda frowns, even more if that is possible.

“Just come with me, besides you were fine with it last night.” His voice is strained, an attempt at keeping it calm, even.

“I don't know you and that was different!” Allen takes a step back, before turning to leave again. His arm is grabbed once more, in a tighter grip as he is turned back once more.

“Listen brat!”

“Let GO!” The boy shouts, tries to rip his arm from the others grip.

“Shut up!” Kanda hisses, his patience running thin.

“NO, now let me go!” Allen raises his school bag, hits the other, tires to pull his arm back.

“GOD FUCKING DAMNIT!” The Asian man snaps and shoves the boy against the cement wall surrounding the school. “WILL YOU CALM THE FUCK DOWN?!” Allen's eyes widen as he's pinned in place.

“What is wrong with you?!” He snaps, tries to shove the other back.

“Listen you little fuck, I'm tired of this shirt, I was just going to talk to you-”

“Well you're doing a pretty good job at it!” The platinum blond groans as his hair is suddenly pulled.

“FUCK, WHY ARE YOU SUCH A BITCH?!”

“BECAUSE YOU'RE AN ASS!” Allen makes a move to knee the man holding him to the wall, except he is stopped…

…Stopped because Kanda presses himself fully against the boy.

He flushes, lightly, as his hands are held down at shoulders height, his hair released. He grits his teeth, continues to glare at the other, hating how weak he seems at the moment.

“God you're such a bitch!”

“Ass,”

“WILL YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP?!” Allen turns his head away from Kanda, mutters in English about how much of a prick the other is.

“God, I fucking hate you…” The Asian man growls, his voice finally returning to a normal tone.

“Then what do you want?” The platinum blond snaps, unable to get away now. Fierce blue eyes meet clear ones for a moment before Kanda speaks, his voice almost calm now.

“Why do you keep coming to my shows?” Allen blinks, his anger suddenly fading as he stares at the other, his mouth dropping open.

“I…wha-?”

“Answer Damnit!” Kanda hisses, his patience almost non existent.

“Linalee and Lavi drag me along…” For a moment he doesn't move, just stares at the boy pinned against the wall. He leans back, a little, gives the other some more room and lessens his grip on him.

“I fucking hate you…”

“I got that,” Allen grumbles as his hands are set free. He rubs his wrist, the one that had first been captured, the one that is showing angry red marks on his skin. A hand is suddenly slammed against the wall by his head, causing him to jump.

“Listen you little bitch, I fucking hate you,” Allen frowns, already tired of the others attitude.

“Are you done, I'm hungry and I want to go home,” Kanda growls audibly, leaning closer to the boy.

“I have another show in a few days, and you're going to go-”

“I have school I can't-AH!” Allen's hair is fisted, his head yanked back painfully.

“You're going to go.” Kanda's voice is low and feral sounding, an anger emitting from him that he has never felt before in his life.

“Why do you want me there if you hate me?” Allen is confused, annoyed at how violent the other is. His hair is pulled again, harsher this time, some strands being yanked out.

“Because I'm going to make you fall in love with me…” Kanda's voice is in his ear, he is speaking in English, in a low tone. “I'm going to make you fall so hard for me that every time our lips touch…” Allen shivers, shivers feeling the others breath on his ear, his lips just barely touching the shell. “…you die a little death…”

And Allen makes a sound, a small sound in the back of his throat, a sound that he will later rationalize as something of fear and disgust… He closes his eyes, swallows thickly, his heart pounding so loud and in his ears… Allen opens his eyes, Kanda's lips just centimeters from his own.

He panics then, panics and shoves the man, grabs his school bag and runs…

Oh a much longer chapter, I'm so happy about that… =u= plus the story is moving forward, at a nice pace for me might I add, seeing as I didn't want to take forever in starting Kandy and Allen's relationship, though it hasn't “started” yet, but it also kind of has… Any case I hope you like the fic so far…

On a side note Lavi dresses…rather interestingly when going to a club of any sort, in Cyber-Kei, or Cyber Style, where people will only wear man made materials, neon colors and futuristic styles, think Zenon movie clothes (Zenon is a Disney channel movie about a girl who lives in space and blah blah blah)…

You can also find a doodle on my DA of Lavi in Cyber-Kei, Allen in Decora-Kei and Linalee in a Gothic Lolita dress…I'm working on Visual Kei Kandy still =_= or at least a good pic of him like that, I have, like one up… and it's not very “visual-Kei” clothes to me u_u The next Chapter will be: Cleaver Sleazoid :D I LOVE that song, Kyo's soooo awesome *hearts*
