Chapter 11: “Living the Dream”
(Satoshi's POV)
"Master Hiwatari! Master Hiwatari! Are you ok!" cried the official from earlier today.
"Yes, Philip. I'm fine...," despite being utterly disappointed that my beautiful moment with Daisuke was disturbed by these inferior idiots!
"I'm glad. Believe it or not, we were very worried about you," he said nearly outta breath.
"If you didn't know already, then I'll tell you myself. I'm very capable of taking care of myself. I don't need someone such as you treating me like a child. I'm sixteen; not ten," and you better not forget it!
"We know that. But sixteen is still a very young age. In our eyes, you are still a mere child."
Holding back my hand from the temptation to smack that idiotic look off his face, I simply smirked. "A child, huh? Is it merely by my age that you've cauterized me as such?"
"Yes."
"You're not much older than me. You're still in your early twenties."
"Hmm, yes. But I'm still older than you."
I shrugged. I didn't care anyways. "Shall we take a walk?"
"I suppose," I replied.
I followed Philip to the awaiting police vehicle, and boarded after one final look at the place where Daisuke and I shared our first official kiss and at that second, I wondered, would Daisuke and I ever return to this particular haven?
(Daisuke's POV)
I fluttered my eyes open for a second as the light of dawn crept its way into my room. The first thing that crossed my mind was... I had awakened to an empty bed... again... (Come on, Daisuke! Don't you remember a single thing that has happened within the last twenty four hours?)
"Yes!" I touched my lips with my fingers. Blushing, I could still feel the ghostly touches of Satoshi's lips. So soft and warm. "He said me loved me! Dark! He loves me!"
(Good for you.) "But Dark, why are you still here?"
(The rules apply differently when your sacred maiden is a guy.)
"So, you are going to be staying?"
(I don't really know what happens when you love a guy. It has never happened before. And no ancestor of yours has ever loved a member of the Hikarifamily. You are the first.)
"But you will let me be when Satoshi and I...um...you know...do it..."
(You're already thinking about that?! Geez!)
“I'm serious, Dark!”
(I don't know, Daisuke. I can't make you any promises. But I will apologize in advance if I do ruin the moment between you and Satoshi.)
"Dark, um, do you know why you didn't emerge while Satoshi and I made out in the garden earlier?"
(I'm not sure. I was about to, but while you announced your love to him, it was like a set of chains constricted me from doing anything to disrupt you two.)
"That's oddly strange."
(It was.)
I shrugged. As long as it didn't affect my relationship with Satoshi, I really didn't care. I had five days left, not including today, to spend as much time as I could with Satoshi, because once we returned to Japan, the chances of us being together were very slim.
SATOSHIHIWATARISATOSHIHIWATARISATOSHIHIWATARI
I sat by Riku's side as she ate breakfast under the watchful care of her nurses. She had finally awakened, unfortunately, and she had requested to see me. But strangely, ever since I've arrived, she hasn't said much of anything to me. "Daisuke..."
I looked over to her, "How are you feeling?"
She didn't respond.
"Riku? How are you feeling?"
No response.
"Pardon me, Mr. Niwa, but Ms. Harada is suffering from temporary amnesia. The only thing she seems to remember is your name. And that's all she says. So that's why we requested that you should be here."
"Amnesia? Temporary?" the fall wasn't as bad as I thought. I, for sure, thought she was gonna die, "Do you know how long it'll last?"
"We aren't sure. I'm assuming she'll recover all her memory after she has made a full recovery."
"And how long will that be?" I hoped not anytime soon.
"Um...a few months, perhaps."
YES!
"A few months? That's horrible!" I lied.
"According to her sister, Risa, Riku was dropped from the sky by a most handsome, and may I add, gorgeous angel with white wings and golden hair..."
I could tell she was reading something that Risa had written. Only she would drool over her sister's attacker. "Yes..."
"She also told us that you mentioned the angel's name."
"Me?"
"Yes," said the nurse, "She said that you know the angel because you were talking to it in a familiar way. Is that true?"
I knew that the answer yes would only further her investigation. "No. I didn't know the angel."
"Is that true?"
"...yes," I said in a tiny voice.
(Keep a straight face, Daisuke.)
I know, I know.
She looked down at her clip board, and began writing something. "Mr. Niwa, we have people that wish to further their investigation. They really believe that you do know the angel, and not until you convince them, they will continue questioning you."
I felt my stomach tangle itself into knots. I was in trouble. "That further investigation won't be necessary," said a voice that I knew all too well.
"Who are you?" the nursed asked the blue haired boy who just entered the room.
"My name is Satoshi Hiwatari, and I'm the chief commander of the police force."
"Chief Commander?"
"I know my age may be misleading, but don't judge me wrong," Satoshi flashed his badge, "I have proven to be a very capable young man."
The nurse nodded then asked, "So, will you be escorting Mr. Niwa elsewhere?"
"As a matter of fact, yes I will."
"And what of the detectives?"
"Everything regarding the incident has already been taken care of. Further investigation is unnecessary as I've told you."
I stood absolutely still as he approached me. Then I felt his hand on my shoulder. I look up, and smiled. He caressed my cheek with his hand, and with his other, he grasped a hold of my hand, and slowly led me outta the room.
We weren't even five feet from the door of Riku's room when Satoshi had pushed me against the wall and pressed his lips against mine. I was caught off guard, but I wanted it just as much as he did. It didn't take long for him to find his way under my shirt, and I could feel his fingers sliding over my chest. Was he trying to seduce me here? At this moment! "Ummn.. Satoshi..."
"I've... missed you," he whispered while he moved his lips to my neck.
"Not here... not now!"
Suddenly, we heard the door knob turning. Satoshi pulled away from me as fast as he could, and I freaked as I noticed the nurse standing at the entrance of the door looking over to us. I don't think she saw anything, but because we were so close, it made her suspicious. She narrowed her eyes at us, and then asked, "Is there someone you are waiting for?"
"Not at the moment," answered Satoshi, "I just had to speak to Daisuke."
She nodded in approval then carried on. I exhaled in relief. I thought for sure she was gonna ask something else, and as I looked at Satoshi, I could see that he was relieved as well.
DAISUKENIWADAISUKENIWADAISUKENIWA
(Author's POV)
Daisuke walked in while Satoshi locked the door. "What do you want to do, Daisuke?" Satoshi asked as he sat down on the bed. Daisuke pondered for a second, then said, "Stand up."
Satoshi stood up as Daisuke requested and waited. Daisuke sprinted towards Satoshi, jumped up, and was caught in Satoshi's arms for an intense embrace. Pulling away just enough to look each other in the eyes, Daisuke slowly leaned forwards, closing the gap between them, and sealing their lips together in a kiss. Daisuke traced Satoshi's lips with his tongue, but teased Satoshi by not entering when he gave way. Satoshi then had his tongue lead Daisuke's into his mouth. He had been craving the honey sweet flavor of his dear lover since they departed last night. When Daisuke finally gave in, Satoshi merely continued to stroke Daisuke's tongue, lowly moaning as he did. Daisuke's legs gripped Satoshi's waist tighter after a few seconds, and unable to support his uke's weight for too much longer, Satoshi turned towards the bed, their lips never parting, until Satoshi plopped Daisuke onto the bed. Daisuke looked up innocently at his seme, and reached his arms out to Satoshi. Smiling, Satoshi entangled his fingers with Daisuke's as he slowly crawled up over him. Looking down at his uke, Satoshi rested his head in the crook of Daisuke's neck, and whispered, "Daisuke, I know how much you want me to stay in your room, but my officials won't allow me to..."
"What?!" Daisuke sat up, looking into Satoshi's eyes while panic filled in his.
"You didn't let me finish," Satoshi said, as he stroked Daisuke's cheek, "I can't stay here, but I've negotiated with the school officials, and they are allowing you to stay with me."
All the worry and fear that Daisuke felt just moments ago were washed away as he sprang forward, and kiss Satoshi's lips again, pouring out all of his joy, and all of his gratitude. He pulled Satoshi back down and over him, "I love you so much, Satoshi!"
"And so do I," Satoshi said as his lips moved down to suck on Daisuke's neck.
"...ummmnn..., harder...," Daisuke mumbled.
Satoshi continued in his ministrations, nibbling harder on Daisuke's neck. Moving his hands under Daisuke's shirt, he slowly slide it up, and pulled his lips away from Daisuke's sensitive skin as he pulled the shirt over Daisuke's head. He tossed it onto the floor, and then set about removing his own shirt. Daisuke gasped as he admired the little show Satoshi was displaying for him as he slowly removed his shirt, exposing his nice and well built upper body. Daisuke suddenly remember that day they first took a shower together, and was reminded of how much he just wanted to reach up and grab onto that strong and sexy body that was standing right there before his eyes. This was his chance. Daisuke reached out his hand to Satoshi's stomach as a child might when reaching for candy, and lightly traced Satoshi's abs with his fingers, admiring ever little crease, every little muscle. Memorizing every little detail. "You're so beautiful, Satoshi..."
Satoshi sat still as Daisuke lifted himself, and placed a kiss on Satoshi's stomach muscles, then traced it with his tongue. "Ohmn.., Daisuke!"
Satoshi threw his head back, and feeling a rush of pleasurable sensations, his body arched against Daisuke's mouth. "Do you like this, uke?" Daisuke teased.
"Huh? Uke?" Satoshi looked back down at Daisuke, "Me? Uke?"
Daisuke giggled, and nodded. "You wish," Satoshi said as he forced Daisuke onto his back, then straddled him, "You are the uke," he kissed Daisuke's neck, "And better yet, you are my uke," Satoshi kissed Daisuke's lips before Daisuke could manage a word.
(Daisuke's POV)
I'm his uke? Me? I'm Satoshi's uke? "Oh, Sato-kun..."
I wanted to argue with him, just for fun, but his passionate kisses always seem to swallow up my words. I knew, even from the beginning, that if I was ever to be with him, I would be the uke, and he'd be the seme. I couldn't careless though about who would be dominant and who would be the passive one ... I was so happy that he was finally mine. I was so glad that I finally came through confessing the deeper feelings that I've kept locked away from him, but what made me the happiest was that he felt the same way for me. But why did he keep it locked away...These kisses that he's given me...They are so soft, so tender, so committed to expressing all the inner emotions that he's kept locked inside of him. I wondered how long Satoshi has loved me.
KNOCK
KNOCK
KNOCK
Who the fuck was that?! (A disturber.)
Dark?
(Yeah, I'm still here.)
And you haven't interrupted us?
(Can't. Like I said, it's like I have chains around me, restricting me from doing anything to ruin the time that you are spending with Satoshi.)
"Who is it?!" Satoshi demanded.
"Master Hiwatari, it's Philip."
Satoshi groaned and then un-straddled me, "Who is Philip," I asked in a little suspicion.
(Satoshi's POV)
Who was Philip? I looked down at Daisuke, and noticed a hint of jealously in his face. I loved to tease this kid. "He's my ex-lover," I whispered, nibbling on his ear while I was at it.
"You mean you had past lovers?! And you still keep in touch with him?!"
Interesting, very interesting. I wonder if he was even more jealous than I anticipated. "Why? Are you jealous?"
"Why is he here?!"
"He wants me back," I teased again.
I just loved lying to my little Daisuke. And the poor redhead believed everything that I said. But, I did wonder… How much longer could I play this game with him? "You're not going to date him, are you?!" He asked with a worried look.
"Hmm, I don't know," I said then kissed Daisuke's flushed cheek.
"Satoshi!" he was mad, and I guess frustrated. It must be all that pent up love.
"I'll be right back. I just want to see what Philip wants."
"I can't believe that you had a French lover."
"There is a lot you don't know about me, Daisuke," I said and winked while I walked towards the door.
"Good afternoon," I said to Philip. And it was at that moment that I realized I didn't have a shirt on.
"Hello, Master Satoshi," he said noticing my nude upper body, "I hope I'm not interrupting anything."
"Oh, you were."
"Really?"
"Yes. You did. But don't worry about it."
"Is someone else in there with you at the moment?" he asked while looking over my shoulder.
"Yes."
"Oh!" he chuckled, "So, who's the lucky lady?"
I chuckled, and stepped to the side. And it wasn't until he pasted me that I realized that Daisuke didn't have a shirt on either. Oh, well. Philip was straight, so I knew he wouldn't dare hit on my Daisuke.
I watched as he looked around the corner, and saw a shirtless Daisuke sitting in the middle of the bed. He suddenly gasped, and looked over to me, "I hope it isn't what it seems."
"What?" Daisuke asked, completely confused as usually, "What isn't what it seems?"
"Yes. It is exactly as it seems," I noticed Philip tense up.
"I didn't know you swayed like that."
"Let's not get into that subject."
Philip whispered it all to me so that Daisuke wouldn't hear, but it looked like Daisuke was interested if not suspicious of what we were discussing. "I won't ask anymore, boss," I liked that title, "But we have the van outside waiting for your luggage, or rather, his luggage."
"Thanks.”
"Shall I wait in the hall?"
"Yes," I said.
Philip walked outside, and I began to pack up Daisuke's things. "Sssaaatttooossshhhiiii!"
Daisuke sounded furious to say the least. "Yes, dear?"
"How old is that guy?!"
"He's about twenty one. Why?"
"You were dating a man five years your senior!"
"Hmm, yes," I lied, "And it was good," I said teasing the boy.
"What did you guys do, exactly?" he asked in mumbling rage.
"We did everything on the chart except having kids and getting married," I was about to burst in laughter as Daisuke's face began to turn a threatening red.
"So, I wasn't your first?" he whispered, sounding rather betrayed and hurt.
Oh! This was priceless. (Stop playing with the kid, and tell him the truth.)
No. I liked toying with him. (Well, at least don't go too far, or the kid might cry.You know that he tends to over reactive.) I walked over to Daisuke after I packed his last piece of garment, and cupped his cheeks. "Why worry about him, when I'm with you?"
"Satoshi, what were you two talking about a few minutes ago?"
"He was jealous when he saw me with you," I lied again, "Because, like I said. He wants me back."
"What?! But… but you aren't going to date him again, right?"
"You already asked me that. How could I think about anyone else when I have you?"
A saw a spark of light flutter in his eyes, "You really mean that?!"
"Yes. Now. Hurry up and grab a shirt. We're leaving."
"Huh? Where are we going?"
As I pulled out my shirt, I said, "You are moving into my hotel, remember?"
His smile grew brighter, and he jumped off the bed as he grabbed his shirt on the floor. "Ok! I'm ready!"
"Sure...," I grabbed his hand, and pulled him outta the room.
