Michael, Takato, Henry, and Terriermon were all heading towards the bakery to get something to eat and to listen to michaels story on how he came to be. While they were walking to the bakery rika was heading to her house and she wanted to know the story about this guy to so she decided to ask renamon when she got home. All the guys reached the bakery finally and takato went to the back to get some bread.

"Well this is all I could get but I hope it's enough for you michael." Takato handed him the bag full of bread.

"Sweet food I am starving." Michael takes a loaf and just starts scarfing it down his throat. All the guys look at him with sweat going down their heads.

"Oh great it's another guilmon." Terriermon said watching michael eat all the bread but for being such a rude digimon henry just scolded him.

"Ahhh that hit the spot." Michael said releasing a big belch.

"So you going to tell us that story now?" Henry asked him eagerly to know his story on how he got his powers.

"Yes of course." He took of his trench coat and sat down in front of everyone ready to tell his story.

"Renamon." Rika called out to her. She was sitting in her bedroom and was just thinking about everything that accord a few hours ago.

"Yes Rika." Renamon appeared next to her.

"Tell me who is this michael and how do you know him." Rika looked over to renamon who was just staring at the ground not even making any gesture to look at rika.

"Ok rika I'll tell you the story on how I met michael." Renamon told her.

Story

"It happened about eight years ago when I was just eight years old actually my birthday. I was with my family on a planet called Anumon. My people were a warrior race and we lived to fight but we also had our families and loved ones we take care of."

"So you are from a different planet and the powers you have come naturally right?" Henry asked him.

"Yes my race are called Saiyans we are a powerful race." Michael said.

"So how did he get to the digital world?" Rika asked renamon.

"I was just getting to that part." She said.

"Well I was celebrating my birthday with my family and it was a nice day so everything was going so well nothing could go wrong so I thought. The next thing I remember is waking up and seeing nothing but space and stars so I sit up and see that I am in a space ship. I start to panic and turn around in time to see my planet blow up and my ship goes into hyper speed before the shockwave hits me." His eyes are closed the whole time he explains it remembering the nightmare loosing his family.

"That's terrible I am so sorry michael loosing your family and your whole planet I mean." Takato said with his head down.

"It's ok it was eight years ago and I have gotten over it I have a new home well two new homes." He said with a smile on his face.

`That's terrible I don't know what I would do if Earth blew up.' Rika thought to herself.

"Well first michael didn't come to the digital world he crash landed on earth first." Renamon said to rika finally looking at her.

Rika looked at renamon as she continued the story. "When he got out of the space pod he knew he was all alone in this world not having anyone to help him or anything but then he found it."

"Found what?" Rika asked with a curious tone.

"A digital portal to the my world. Being a boy he was curious and walked up to it and he was sucked in it immediately. I was walking through some mountains one day then I came across a body laying in the snow he was unconscious and well I didn't know what to do so I took him to a near by cave and made a fire and waited there."

"So renamon saved your life pretty much so you owe her big time." Takato said to michael.

"Yeah pretty much I do renamon a lot but it doesn't matter to her though but I had to do something. So when I woke up I looked around I didn't see anyone but the only thing there was the fire and that I was in a cave. Then I heard a voice behind me.

"Don't move around to much." Said the voice. I spun around and that's when I first seen renamon. I wasn't scared cause for some reason I could tell she was a good person and wouldn't harm me. I asked what she was and she told me and I was still confused but I told her my story on how I got there."

"After he told me what happened to him he just fell back to sleep to think that this kid is that last of his kind. Well me on the other hand did not want to baby-sit him so I waited till he woke up again so I can tell him that I am leaving that he is going to have to fend for himself here."

"Well I woke up and renamon told me that she isn't a babysitter so she was going to leave but I had other things planned cause well I am a little boy who is on a foreign planet and she is telling me I have to fend for myself. So I started to cry and beg her not to leave."

"His whining was very annoying so I decided to stay with him and help him through the digital world. We were walking one day and I was showing him around the digital world when a snimon showed and wanted to make some trouble. Well I told him to go hide while I fought of the snimon. Well luck wasn't really with me that day and well the snimon was fast and I was too weak to face a champion level digimon. He had me pinned down and he was about to end it right there and that's when I saw michael he kicked the snimon right off me."

"So you saved renamons life to so all debts were paid off I see." Henry said.

"Yeah." Michael shook his head. "Well after I kicked the snimon off her I went to go see if she was alright and she the face she had on was something more funny then anything."

"I asked him when did he have these powers and then told me all his life. I was kind of upset cause he didn't tell me this in the beginning but I didn't really think about it though cause I was thinking he was like a human he has no special powers or anything."

"Well the snimon didn't give up that easily so it took renamon and I to take this thing down. After we were down we rested a bit and talked about my powers then she told me she would train me but I told there is no she could train me cause I was more powerful then her."

"Wait hold on you told renamon that you were more powerful then her isn't that suicidal?" Terriermon asked while chuckling.

"Well I didn't know that then but yeah as you could figure I found out cause she yelled at me."

"I was so mad he said that to me so I figure that I could beat so I went at him but like he did earlier today he dodged me and I kept trying and trying but I couldn't lay a punch on him."

"So finally after she finally gave up trying to hit me I told her that I could train her instead well you knowing renamon she never pass up an offer to get stronger."

"That's for sure." Terriermon said.

"We trained and trained and renamon and I became real good friends after a while and we do a lot together."

"Michael was my first friend cause I wasn't in the friend making business then but training with him and getting to know him it was nice to have a friend that you know that would be there for you."

"Well then one day we were just walking then the ground opened up right under my feet and without warning to I was sucked into a digital portal and back this world were I have been taking care of myself and training to become stronger."

End Story

"Well that is pretty much it and yeah here I am right now talking to you guys do any of you have any questions." Michael stood up and stretched looked out the window. They all shook there head no to his question. "Well guys you wouldn't mind would you if I joined your little team I mean I am guessing you could use all the help." He said looking at them.

"Sure that would be great you could actually protect guilmon and terriermon from rika." Takato said kind of excitedly.

"What is up with that girl anyway, I mean why does she want to destroy your guys digimon?" Michael sat back down and just looked at both henry and takato.

"We don't know really but she tells us that digimon are meant to fight and that we are just part of the game and that the strongest must survive so she destroys all the digimon that come here from the digital world." Henry explained it to michael who just took this all in.

"Digimon aren't meant to fight I mean they have the ability but they are living creatures like me and you." Michael said he was kind of surprised that is renamons partner. "Does rika have any friends?" He asked.

"We don't know we don't think she does actually we never see her hang around anyone else but renamon but that's only when they are fighting digimon." Both henry and takato were looking at terriermon seeing him roll around with calumon.

"That's terrible I don't know what it's like to have no friends." Michael starts to laugh and everyone looks at him. "I have a new goal and that's to be friends with rika."

"Well good luck with that we try and try but yeah she is really stubborn." Takato said and was starting to laugh to cause michael was.

"I swear on it everybody deserves a friend you won't get far in this world without one." He had a grin the whole time. "If I got renamon to be my friend who says I cant get rika my friend either."

"True but rika is different I think there is something there that is even worse then renamons attitude I mean she is hiding something I just know it but yeah she is a one of a kind girl I have to say." Henry said while looking at the clouds.

"Maybe but I like a good challenge. Well guys heading off whenever there is trouble I will be there take care." With that he opened the window and flew off scaring the others half to death by doing this.

"Henry this is going to be one weird year don't you think?" Takato asked. All henry could do is shake his in agreement but something in michael that henry was thinking that maybe he can open up rika.

Well my second installment that was faster then I thought well I hope you like I will be starting the third one tomorrow morning so yeah R&R.
