After looking at the latest reviews, I can see that this story is here to stay, everyone! You must be asking the question about why did I make Kari look that she became evil, but make all of that `act' a ruse to make the enemy trust her and `take' her to their side? Well, I wanted to do something different, so, I decided to make Kari become evil at one time, but became good again, however, the evil villains didn't know and think that Kari is still on the side of darkness. And Kari, she becomes a spy for the good guys in the `enemy camp'. Nice trick, huh? Well, anyway, two more Digidestined are going to `go bad', however, I won't tell you who, but I can tell you that this time, TK ISN'T the one that's going to go bad, it won't be Davis, either, since he is the hero, and it won't be Kari since she became `bad' before. That's all I will tell you, the rest is that you will have to keep reading to find out. Finally, the `vampire' part of this chapter, the vampires are going to come from Blade's world and Davis will be using Blade's Vampire Hunter-Slayer gear. Okay, with everything cleared up, I don't own Digimon, any of the other shows, anime, video game, television show, movie, or other types, or anything/anyone that comes from these other stories that end up in this fanfiction! Digimon Worlds: Dimensional Endgame

 

Recap: Five years after Davis, Kari, and their Digimon partner left on their journey, their homeworld changed somewhat since the Digidestined and their Digimon partners have become accepted in the Real World and there are millions of Digidestined, with their partners, all over the world. However, the remaining Digidestined in Odaiba, especially, Tai Kamiya, with the lost of his younger sister and his successor as leader of the Digidestined, Daisuke Motomiya, but then a person look like Davis appears, but he wasn't Davis! This guy is known as DD, a evil Digital World clone of Davis, created from Davis' digital data and his partner's digital data, and he's the leader of the Dark Digidestined, who's team evil core is made of evil clone of the younger Odaiba Digidestined. However, the REAL Davis Motomiya appears to stop his evil doppelganger, but then the REAL Kari appears, however, she looked like that she is on DD's side! Plus, she challenge Davis to a game of Duel Monsters in which she uses the evil Seal of Orichalcos magic card, but Davis manages to make the duel in a draw so the seal couldn't take either of them. However, after left with DD, Davis reveals that Kari being evil and the Seal of Orichalcos was all an act! The Seal of Orichalcos and Orichalcos stone were fakes and they were acting so that DD and his evil allies would believe that Kari is on their side! After Kari re-meets with the others, Davis brings in reinforcements with Yami, still sharing a body with Yugi, Tea, Joey, and Tristan, and the Digidestined found that Kari indeed was once possessed by the evil powers of the Orichalcos, but Davis freed her from it's spell and with Ironheart's help, helped Kari gain control of the darkness in her mind and heart, her `dark side, and the `taint' left by the Seal of Orichalcos. As well as finding out that Davis and Kari were boyfriend and girlfriend. Soon after, Joey found Davis and Kari alone and in a passionate kiss and embrace as well as taking about a `vision' that they had saying that two of their friends would become `part' of the darkness, but didn't tell anyone, yet, not wanting to worry anyone. Kari left to return to her `job' as a `spy' for Davis, the Digidestined, and Yami Yugi and his friends, but Joey left with a `dark secret' from Kari and Davis. What would happen next to our Digidestined team with their allies? Can Kari keep her `secret' of being a spy from the `Dark Digidestined' and provide information for the good guy's `cause'? And what about this `vision' that Kari and Davis talked about? Let's see if we will find the answers today on Digimon: Digital Monsters!

 

Chapter 2: Duels, Vampires, and Battle Vixens

 

(Returning to the headquarters of the Dark Digidestined; A short time after we left our heroes/heroines)

 

We find our Digidestined of Light walking back into the headquarters with her serious look on her face and it doesn't look like anyone is around.

 

However, Kari thinks to herself, seriously, “Well, back to usual, as well as taping into the darkness inside of me and `switching' back to my `darker personality'.”

 

Kari then hears DK's voice calls out, “Hey, Kari! What have you been up to?” DK, DD, and DT then appear at Kari's left.

 

Without even looking at them, Kari replies, in a dark nasty tone, “I told you that I had business to take care of DK! So, what's it to you, you whore?!”

 

DT comments, in a teasing tone of voice, “Ooh, someone is in a `bad' mood.”

 

Kari then looks at DT with extreme dark angered tone her in expression, fires a beam of energy from her right index and middle fingers that graze DT's right cheek, causing a cut to form and start to bleed, and Kari yells at DT, with a dark angered tone in her voice, “Don't piss me, off, bastard! Or when I'm done with you, you are going to need plastic surgeon for people to just call you `ugly'!” Kari then turns and walks away from them.

 

DD widely smirks and comments, impressed tone of voice, “Nice threat, Kari.”

 

Kari tells DD, in a nasty tone, “Don't patronize me, DD. Flattery will get you no where. Now, if you excuse, I've got to find a shower and I need good shower.” Kari then walks two steps, then stops, and tells the group, in a dark tone, “And if I find any of you, especially the two of you, DD and DT, looking at me while I'm taking a shower, I'm going to make you wish that you have never been thought of at all when you were created, got me?!” Kari then walks away to find a shower in the Dark Digidestined's headquarters, which is somewhere within the vast fort for these villains.

 

DK then comments, impressed, “Man! When Kamiya girl is evil like us, she is one badass bitch! Personally, she and I would really get along.”

 

DT then says, “Yeah! That outfit of hers makes Hikari Kamiya look hot!”

While Yami, currently in `control' of Yugi's and his shared body, Joey, Tristan, and Tea talk with Ken, TK, Cody, Yolei, the older kids, and all of their Digimon partners, with Gatomon and Veemon, Davis is looking around and using his `special senses and abilities' to make sure that no one was spying on them when Kari was with them. But Davis found that no one was around for miles around to spy on all of them and he decided to return to the others.

 

When he arrives, he sees that Yami and his friends are talking with his friends, causing Davis to call out, “Hey, everyone! Did I miss anything?”

 

TK looks at Davis and replies, “Anything other than Duel Monsters cards and strategies and our adventures against evil forces in our respective worlds, nothing much really.”

 

Davis looks at Yami, Joey, Tea, and Tristan and tells them, “Hey, Yami, I want to thank you and your friends for staying here and helping us out with duelists that the Dark Digidestined might sent against using the Seal of Orichalcos and Shadow Realm.”

 

Joey replies, “Hey, no problem. Anything for a friend, but if next time, tell us when you are using some kind of `deception plan' with a FAKE Seal of Orichalcos card and your girlfriend pretending to be evil.”

 

Yolei replies, “Yeah, please. You and Kari nearly gave us heart attacks.”

 

Davis blushes and tells them, “Sorry about that, but if I told any of you, none of you give `authentic' shocked, fearful, surprised, and horrified expressions to convince DD that all of Kari's `evil insulting, talking, and deeds' weren't acts set up by Kari and me.”

 

Izzy tells Yolei, “Well, Davis has an excellent point, Yolei.”

 

Yami then says, “Joey and I would be glad to help against this evil and plus, we must get back the Millennium Rod and Necklace that I gained from Marik's dark side after the Battle City Tournament. Added with the Seal of Orichalcos, all of those `dark powers' could cause great chaos and destruction.”

 

Tea nods her head and adds to Yami's statements with, “As well as Obelisk the Tormentor that you and Kari gave them to convince your enemy's that she on their side and not a spy.” Tea then asks Davis, “Why did you give them Obelisk the Tormentor and the Winged Dragon of Ra?”

 

Davis replies, “The best way to convince them is to give two of the most powerful creature in the Shadow Games and Duel Monsters seems like the best way to give DD the idea that Kari was still on their side. Don't worry, with the Winged Dragon of Ra in Kari's hand, most likely, we will only have to deal with Obelisk the Tormentor and since I've got and mastered the powers of both Slifer the Sky Dragon and my legendary dragon card, the Eye of Timaeus, hopefully, we will get Obelisk back before they can do any real damage.”

 

Tristan asks, a bit scared, “Hopefully? What happens if the `hopefully' doesn't happen?”

 

Davis exclaims, a bit insulted, “Hey, Tristan, have a little faith in me, okay?! These villains are a lot smarter than you think and they are very crafty, slippery, and will do anything to win. To be honest, in order to defeat these foes, we might have to bend and possible, even break the rules of `regular' combat. Believe me, I've got five years or five decades of experience with them based on which perspective that you want to work on.”

 

Yami tells Tristan, “Davis is right, Tristan. He has the most experience with this new enemy and the best way to win is to use Davis' and Kari's experience against them. Plus, hopefully, Kari will be able to get us some important information and more as spy for our side.”

 

Tristan says, in a bit of solemn tone, “Yeah, Yugi, you're right.”

 

Tai then comes over to Davis and asks him, in a plain tone, “Davis, could I ask you something?”

 

Davis, hearing the seriousness of Tai's tone, nods his head and responds, “Okay, Tai. Follow me.” Davis and Tai then go over to nearby group of trees and bushes to have their own personal talk.

 

However, the image of Yugi appears beside Yami and he tells him, telepathically, “Yami, it is amazing! Davis and Kari created a nearly perfect duplicate of the Seal of Orichalcos and an Orichalcos stone with the expectation it isn't filled with the same evil powers as the REAL Seal of Orichalcos and Orichalcos stone and their `fake seal' can't take a soul away. Other than those expectations, this `fake seal' has all of the same power as the REAL Seal of Orichalcos! I'm amazing at so well how it fooled the enemy!”

 

Yami nods in his own mind and tells Yugi in reply, mentally, “Yes, Yugi, I, too, am amazed at how close that fake stone and fake seal look so much like the original stone and Seal of Orichalcos card! You would have to look real close to see that both of them are forgeries andthe ability to sense powers, real good senses,that they don't contain the same `evil powers' as the Orichalcos stone and Seal of Orichalcos card. These `forgeries' were so close to the originals that they fooled the enemy when Davis and Kari use it in their `ploy' to trick their and our new enemy into thinking that Kari Kamiya is still on their side! I can sense that Davis and Kari have gain vast powers and abilities and are even stronger since we last saw them. They could have attained knowledge, information, powers, and abilities beyond human imagination and more! I believe that the key of defeating this `evil clone' of Davis and his friends, Ken, TK, Kari, Cody, and Yolei, lies within the two of them. That's why they brainwash Kari Kamiya in the first place, I believe!”

 

Yugi nods his own head and replies, telepathically, “Same here, Yami. Hopefully, Kari won't be brainwash by our enemies in anyway again.”

 

Yami responds, mentally, “The bond between Davis and Kari is very strong between them! Both of them would risk their own lives and sacrifice their own lives for each other because of the powerful bonds of friendship and love between them. If that bond allowed Kari to gain control over the darkness in her heart and mind as well as control over her `dark side' of her personality, I have total faith and confidence that Kari will never fall into the blackness of the darkness, ever again.”

 

Yugi smiles and tells Yami, in a confident tone, “Yeah, me too, Yami.” However, Yugi asks, in a worried tone,“But they will in any way try to destroy Davis and what will happen thenif they succeed?”

 

“Then I'm afraid, Yugi, that all of us will be lost. Without both of them, together, I'm afraid that the rest of us wouldn't stand a chance against our enemies and all worlds would be at their mercy!” Yami says, in his serious tone.

 

Meanwhile, Davis and Tai, in a nearby group of trees and bushes, are having a `personal talk' and Tai tells Davis, in a bit of a nervous tone, “Davis, I need to ask you something, but I'm not sure how to ask this. When Kari and you were in your `battle' to deceive DD that Kari is still on their side, there was something that she said that bothered me.”

 

Davis asks, really curious and interested, “I don't want to be looked at as absent-minded, Tai, but what did Kari say that you want to ask me about?”

 

Tai then replies, in a plain tone, “Well, it was just after Kari `activate' your and her `fake or copy' Seal of Orichalcos card and Kari declared that she didn't have a soul anymore. Her next words and what she said to TK really got to me.”

 

FLASHBACK; The `battle' between Davis and Kari

 

It was after Kari activate the `Seal of Orichalcos' card and she declared that she `didn't have a soul anymore' to her older brother.

 

Sora then asks, horrified at Kari's `declaration', “Did you hear that?”

Tai then asks, “I know that you and Kari were `acting' to fool our newest enemy, DD and his Dark Digidestined, but when Kari was really under the control of the Seal of Orichalcos', did she say something similar? And since you and Kari are `really close', since you and nee-chan are boyfriend and girlfriend, did she always feel that way?”

 

Davis then takes a deep breath and replies, “Tai, you are my mentor, my friend, and you are like an older brother since we are both very similar to each other, and you know that I wouldn't want to hurt if I could help it. However, Tai, I've got to be honest, Kari told me that this was true and she did get picked on by other girls in school, calling her `little miss perfect' or some term similar to that. Sometime into our journey, after I freed Kari from the Orichalcos, Kari told me that she felt that she was very much useless to the rest of us since you, myself, or TK always come in and save her. It increased my mental and physical abilities, in sport, but it filled with evil and darkness as it fed off my darkness and pain. It caused me to become the Digimon Emperor and I did some horrible things, when the other Digidestined defeated me, as the Digimon Emperor, I broke free from the Dark Spore's control. At the time, none of us knew that I was possessed by an evil force and not responsible for what I did, but Davis was the first to trust me and he's the main reason that I'm with the younger member of the Digidestined. Davis is like brother to me, Joey. He and I are best friends and I support him, one-hundred percent, because I know that I can trust him and that he's there to support as I am there to support him.”

 

Joey smiles and tells Ken, “And that's what being a best friend and pal is all about. A friend is a person that's always there for you, to support and help, no matter what, Yug' and I are the same way. When Kari came to fight the duelist that DD `arranged' for Kari to fight to save Davis, that duelist use the same dirty maneuver that Raphael used on the Pharaoh, used an Exchange magic card to get the Seal of Orichalcos into Kari's hands, and then successfully tempting Kari into using that evil card. She won the duel, but unfortunately, she fell under the Orichalcos' spell, which fed on her inner darkness and pain, and turned Kari into, forgive the term, evil hell-cat. Under the Orichalcos' control, Kari tried to tempt Davis into the `dark side', but when that failed, Kari challenged him to duel for their souls. Davis held back and tried to not hurt Kari, it had the same result between Mai and I when she was the Orichalcos' `spell', Davis got his butt whopped from two weeks into next Tuesday! However, the legendary dragons came to his aid and Yug' and the Pharaoh's old dragon friend, Timaeus came back, gave his power to Davis, and he barely managed to end that duel in a tie. But soon enough, both of them just disappeared, we never knew that Davis finally freed Kari from the seal's control until now.”

 

Ken then tells Joey, “Well, I can tell that Davis has grown a lot smarter and crafter than when I last saw him, five years ago. But then he and Kari have experience five decades, fifty years, in other worlds, including yours, but only aged five years. Who knows what they've learned, what they experience, and what powers that they have gained?”

Davis turns his head, sees Joey and Ken, and asks, curiously, “What are you two doing up?”

 

Joey asks, “We should be asking you the same thing, man? What are you doing up at this hour?”

 

Ken then says, adding to Joey's questions, “We know that you are some kind of `super-warrior', but you still need your sleep Davis.”

 

Davis smiles, shakes his head and replies, “Actually, Kari and I don't need as much `sleep' as the `average' human being since our powers slow down the processes in our bodies that cause sleep deprivation when we don't get enough sleep, so, Kari and I need less sleep.”

 

Joey says, impressed, “Whoa. Man, I wish I can do that and watch more late night movies and go into the `night life' of Domino.”

 

Davis then tells Joey, “Well, Ken still has a good point. Even though Kari and I need less sleep that `normal' humans, both of us still need sleep. However, I decided to stay on guard duty since DD could find us and launch a sneak attack on us. Knowing that creep, I wouldn't put anything by him.”

 

Joey tells Davis, in his confident tone, “Come on, this Digital World is vast like you said. We are little needles in a humongous haystack. What are the chances that he will find us?”

 

Davis then senses some ones or should I say, some things coming their way and Davis replies, in a serious tone, “Pretty good, I say. I can sense some of his `goon squad' is here.” Joey and Ken gasp and look around, but they don't see anyone or anything around them.

 

Ken asks, “Where, Davis? I don't see anyone.”

 

Davis tells Ken, in a serious tone, “My senses have become very sensitive and plus, I can `sense' the energy that surrounds every creature, living, undead, or otherwise. And what I sense is energy of the undead kind, Ken.”

 

Joey's expression becomes panicky and nervous and he states, “Undead?! You mean like zombies?!”

 

Davis' expression becomes even more serious and he says, in the same tone, “Worse, Joey. What I'm sensing are vampires, real vampires.”

 

Joey then becomes really panicky and exclaims, “You mean real-life, blood-sucking, demons of the night, vampires?!”

 

But then a dark tone yells out, “Demons?! That isn't nice! How about walking in our shoes?!” Davis then looks around for the source of the voice, but then a vampire, clad in black clothing, leaps from one of the trees at Davis. Davis does a back-flip, avoids the vampire's `lunge' at him, takes his sawed-off shotgun from its holster, aims his shotgun at his target, and fires at the vampire, hitting right in the head, causing it's head to explode, one second the rest of the vampire's body is destroyed, and all before he reaches the safety of the trees.

 

After Davis works the pump action to put in the next shotgun shell in the breach, three more male and two female vampires come out into the open, and one female vampire says, “Ooh, he's a real cutie.”

 

Another male vampire says, “He won't be once we drain him dry.” All five vampires then show their fangs to Davis, Ken, and Joey.

 

Joey panics and yells out, “Yeow! They're all vampires! Watch out!”

 

Davis smiles and says, “Don't worry, I've faced these fanged freaks before and I've been trained by the best vampire hunter-slayers in the business.” Davis then yells at the vampires, “Hey, does the name Blade ring a few bells?!”

 

Another one of the male vampire exclaim out, angrily, “What do you know of that bastard of a half-breed?!”

 

Davis grins and responds, “Blade taught me a lot of what I knew of the vampire hunter-slayer business.”

 

The vampire that asked the question brawls out, “Our kind might not able to destroy that half-breed freak and his friends, but I know that I can destroy his protégé because you are only human!” Then the male vampire barrel rushes our Digidestined of Miracles, but then, without losing his wide grin on his face, throws his shotgun deep into the air, withdraw his samurai sword, spins 180 degrees as the vampire passes, and using his samurai sword to slice the vampire in half, who disintegrates into ash soon after.

 

Another male vampire yells out, “That's it! Get him!” Davis turns to face the vampires, grabs his shotgun, which comes back from being thrown into mid-air, aims at one of the male vampire, fires, and blows a major hole in the male vampire's upper chest, causing him to turn into ash.

 

Ken calls out, “Davis, on your right!” Davis looks to see the two female vampires attack him with kicks from up above, but he does two back-flips and gets out of the way, while two female vampires kicks hit the ground.

 

One of the female vampires tells Davis, in a dark teasing tone, “Too bad we have to obliterate you, you would have made one heck of a vampire.”

 

Davis grins and replies, sarcastically, “Sorry, I don't do that undead, fanged freaks thing, girls.” Davis then takes two silver stakes from his pockets, throws them in the two girls, impales them in the heart areas, and they scream as they turn into ash.

 

The final vampire yells out, “Bastard!” He then rushes Davis, but when he gets near our Digidestined of Miracles, he swings towards him, swipes his sword in his right, slices the vampire's head off, and all of him, head and body, turn into ash, a few seconds after. Davis then puts the safety on his sawed-off shotgun, puts his samurai sword away, and then looks to see Ken and Joey come towards him.

 

Ken yells out, amazed, “Davis, you were amazing!”

 

Joey smiles and exclaims, adding to Ken's `statement', “Yeah, you took care of those creepy vampires, one, two, and three!” But then Tea's and Sora's screams come from the camp. “That's Tea!” Joey calls out, knowing the scream.”

 

“And that's Sora!” Ken yells out.

 

Davis states, in a serious tone, “They're attacking the camp! Come on!” Davis, Ken, and Joey then all rush back to the camp. Meanwhile, back at the camp, two male vampires, one looming over Tea, another preparing to attack Tai's and Sora's tent, and finally, one female vampire attacking the boys.

 

Tea screams out, in total fear, “Keep away from me, you fanged freak!”

 

The male vampire replies, “You won't be thinking that way for long, you pretty little thing.”

 

But then Davis' voice yells out, “Why don't you keep you fangs to yourself?!”

 

The female vampire says, “I can't be! I thought that the rest of our crew took care of him!” All three vampires look to see Davis, Ken, and Joey running towards them.

 

The other male vampire growls, angrily, “They look still human to me.”

 

Davis calls out to everyone, “Everyone! Hit the ground now!” Not wanting the argue, everyone hits the dirt, Davis takes something from behind his jacket, throws at the vampires, cutting the male vampire attacking Tea, then slicing the head of the vampire attacking Tai and Sora, bounces off the ground, jumps off the ground, and catches his `metal bladed boomerang' back in his left hand. The two male vampires, heads and bodies, turn into ash.

 

The female vampire launches at Davis and yells out, “How did you, you little human rat?!”

 

Davis then puts his `toy' away, cups his hands behind his right side, causing an aqua-blue orb of energy to form in his cupped hands, and Davis yells out, “KA. . . ME. . . HA . . . ME . . . HA!” Davis then thrust his hands, forward, and launches an aqua-blue beam of energy at the vampire, which makes contact, and she screams out as she disintegrates into nothing. Davis then looks at everyone and calls out, “Is everyone okay?”

 

Yolei comes out of hers and Ken's tent and replies, freaked out, “Other than scared out of our wits, we're just fine!”

 

Cody tells Davis, “Don't worry, Davis, none of us got bitten.”

 

Davis tells Cody, concerned, “However, I'm going to make sure.” It takes a while, but Davis made sure that everyone didn't have any bite marks on their necks. Davis tells everyone, “Okay, all of you are clean.”

 

Tea asks, still shocked out of her mind, “Were those REAL vampires?”

 

Davis replies, “Yeah, Tea, they are vampires from another Earth that's full of them and DD has gotten some for his army, but I've been trained by `people' that stop the vampires, Vampire Hunter-Slayers.”

 

Tai then says, “Well, whatever they were after, you stopped them just in time, Davis.”

 

Davis shakes his head and says, “No, DD knows I can take on these freak with ease. He sent them as a warning to tell us that we aren't safe, no matter where we are, and no matter what time of day.” Davis then tells everyone, “Everyone, try to get as much sleep as possible because we are moving out at first light. I'll keep watch.”

 

Tea then says, “No way! After this, it will nightmare city for me.”

 

Yolei nods her head and tells Tea in agreement, “No kidding! Tea!” Yugi and all his friends then try to go back to sleep, as well as the Digimon, with their Digidestined partners, and Davis stays at the camp to stand guard.

DD smiles evilly and says, “No matter. I've only sent them as a warning to Motomiya and all of his friends to know that he must know that there isn't any safe place from us.”

She knew about me, my whole legend, and all the details of my arrival since it was told by a Digimon prophet and ancient Digital World scriptures.”

 

Matt exclaims, flabbergasted, “No way!”

 

Veemon replies, in a serious tone, “That's right, Matt. Ophanimon knew the whole details about our arrival, Davis' legend, and what we need to do, with the details. We met her around five years old. It's the safest place that we can be. Ophanimon's palace is a sacred place, guarded many Knightmon, loyal to Ophanimon and to Davis, since he is the Digidestined of Miracles.”

In the last of my `dreams', I saw all of you killed and then I found Kari, a warrior of evil, was the one that killed all of you, however, that future hasn't happened since she came with me, the future has already changed.”

 

Izzy then asks, “You told us that the Digidestined of Miracles is also called `the Digidestined beyond Destiny's grasp' and `the Digidestined that can change the future'?”

 

Davis nods his head and replies, “Yeah, the prophecy about me said that I change other people's futures through my actions, my heart, and my feelings. And what between Kari and me, I truly believe that I can make a difference. I don't care that I'm some kind of `great royal Digidestined', but I'm glad that I can make a difference for others.”

 

Yugi then switches control to Yami and Yami tells him, “You are and have gained wisdom beyond your years, Davis. That's the talk of a true hero.”

But then a dark male voice calls out, “I've finally found you!” Everyone then looks to see a young man of 17 years of age with blood red dyed spiky hair and dark brown eyes and covered in clothing found by members of street gangs.

The young man displays a Chaos Duel Disk, activates it, puts in a Duel Monsters deck, and when the life-point counter reads 8000 life-points, he exclaims, “What I want is a duel with the Digidestined of Miracles himself! I've been ordered to take you down and take your soul to them! The name is Desmond.”

 

Davis turns to his opponent, activates his duel disk, inserts his dueling deck, and when his life-point counter reads 8000 life-points, he replies, plainly, “Fine. You want to get your butt whopped, fine by me.”

 

Both duelists draw five cards and call out in unison, “Let's duel!”

Desmond then declares, “That will end my turn!”

 

Davis draws his own card and tells Desmond, “Okay, my move!” Davis then looks at his own hand, puts a card in the magic/trap slot, and declares, “Now, I play Graceful Charity! This allows me to draw three cards from my deck, but then I've got to discard two from my hand.” Davis then draws three cards, looks at his hand, discards two cards from his hand, takes another card from his hand, puts into one of the magic/trap slots, and yells out, “Now, I play Monster Reborn! This will allow me to summon back the monster that I put in my graveyard! Dark Magician Girl, return!” And then a hologram of Dark Magician Girl (2000/1700) appears on the field in attack mode! Davis then inserts another card into the magic/trap slots and declares, “Now, I play Sage's Stone! Since I've got a Dark Magician Girl on the field, this will allow me to summon Dark Magician from my deck in attack mode!” Davis then takes the card from his deck, places on the duel disk, and the hologram of Dark Magician (2500/2100) appears on the field in attack mode as well. Davis then inserts another card into the magic/trap slots, causing a hologram of the magic card, Dark Magic Ritual to appear on the field, and Davis exclaims, “Now, I play Dark Magic Ritual! This will allow me to summon the final of my monsters to field, but I have to sacrifice a monster or monsters that equal to eight stars to do so!” Davis then takes a card from his hand, shows it to Desmond to be the Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End, and tells Desmond, “Now, I sacrifice this card! My all-powerful Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End!” The Dark Magic Ritual appears on the field with the Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End (3000/2500) appears in the center and then Davis yells out, “Now, my dragon, I sacrifice you!” Davis' dragon then leaves in a stream of lights, Davis places the monster on his duel disk, and yells out, “And now, I summon my powerful Magician of Black Chaos!” Out of the darkness then comes the monster, Magician of Black Chaos (2800/2600) in attack mode in-between Dark Magician Girl and Dark Magician.

 

TK states, shocked at Davis' moves, “Whoa! Davis summoned three high-powered monsters in one turn!”

 

Yami nods his head in agreement and says, “That's typical of Davis' strategy. Davis has always valued the power of teamwork and that's what he bases his dueling strategies on. Everyone of his monster cards work together as team, united together to stop an opponent, as well as his magic and trap card. Teamwork and Chaos is the name of Davis' strategy. Like an army general, he works his monster as a team, united as one unit, while confusing his opponent on what his move, next move, or next card might be. Davis has won many of a duel with that strategy.”

 

Ken then says, “Davis said that he learned from you, Yami.”

 

Yami nods his head and says, “Davis knew plenty about Duel Monsters, but he wanted and needed to learn more. Yugi, Joey, and I taught him and Kari everything that we knew and Davis has used our lesson very wisely, even developing his very own strategy and strategies as well as learning of all other types of strategies. He may have learned more on his own, but we started it. However, he evolved on his own and has become a powerful duelist.”

 

Joey then says, with pride, “Yeah, your pal is the protégé of me, one of greatest duelist of all time, and my bud, the King of Games, himself.”

 

However, seeing all three Davis' powerful monsters on the field made Desmond, very worried, and he thinks, “Oh, damn it! He already has three high-powered monsters on the field!”

 

Davis then commands, “Now, my magicians, combine powers, strike his monster, and his life-points directly!” All three magicians combine their staffs and fired a beam of dark blue, pink, and pitch black energy at Desmond's monster. Davis then yells out, “Now, Dark Magician Girl, destroy his knight!” Dark Magician Girl's attack hits, destroying his knight, and then Davis yells out, “Now, Dark Magician and Magician of Black Chaos, attack his life-points!” Both magicians' attacks strike Desmond, causing him to scream out as smoke covers him, and when it clears, he has a burns on him and he's wobbling, as well as to mention the fact that he lost 5300 life-points, lowering his life-points down to only 2700 left. Davis then places his final card in his hand in magic/trap slots, causing a hologram of a face-down card to appear, and Davis says, “Finally, I place one-card face-down and end my turn!”

 

TK exclaims, happily, “All right, Davis has already got his opponent life-point lose more than half of his life-points!”

 

Tristan states, in the same mood as TK, “Oh, yeah, Davis is the man of the hour!”

 

Yami smiles and says, “Yes, Davis trusted himself and his deck.” Yami smile then turns into a serious look and he says, in his usual tone, “However, this duel isn't over, yet, so, we must wait to celebrate.”

 

Desmond then draws one card and says, in an angered tone, “My move, now!” Desmond then looks at the card, inserts it into his duel disk, and declares, “Now, I play Pot of Greed! This will allow me to draw two cards!” Desmond then draws two cards, looks at them, smiles as he takes one card from his hand, and says, in a dark tone, “Well, I've gotten the card that everyone fears most.”

 

Yami's expression then grows into one of worry and he says, in the same tone, “Oh no! You mean that you've drawn!”

 

Desmond then shows the card, revealing it to be the Seal of Orichalcos, and declares, “Yes! Now, I activate. . . the Seal of Orichalcos!” Desmond then inserts into his duel disk's field magic card slot, causing a powerful evil wind to form that throws everyone back, and seals the two duelists with the Seal of Orichalcos, which fully forms on the field. Desmond's eyes gain a red tint and the mark of the Orichalcos appears on his head, causing him to say, evilly, “And now, Motomiya, you're finished.” However, Davis doesn't lose his strong and serious look in his expression. Desmond then inserts one card into his duel disk's magic/trap slots and yells out, “Now, I play Polymerization! I fuse my Dark Blade and Pitch Dark Dragon to form. . .!” Desmond then inserts his two monster cards into the graveyard, then places a fusion monster card on his duel disk, and Desmond declares, “. . . To form my Dark Blade, the Dragon Knight in attack mode!” Dark Blade, the Dragon Knight (2200/1700), which looks like Dark Blade riding on Pitch Dark Dragon, appears on the field in attack mode! Desmond then calls out, “And the Seal of Orichalcos gives my monster an extra 500 attack point boost!” Dark Blade, the Dragon Knight then gains the mark of the Orichalcos on both of their heads and their eyes gain blood red tints to them and their stats go from 2200/1700 to 2700/1700! Desmond then inserts another card into his duel disk and yells out, “Finally, I play Legendary Sword, which gives my Dragon Knight, an extra 300 attack points!” The Legendary Sword then appears in Dark Blade's hands and his attack points go up to 3000! Desmond then points to Davis' Magician of Black Chaos and calls out, “Now, my Dragon Knight, destroy Davis' Magician of Black Chaos with Legendary Sword Strike!” Desmond's monster then heads for Davis' magician.

 

Davis then declares, “You've just activated my trap card! Go, Draining Shield!” Davis' face down card is revealed to be the Draining Shield trap card. A shield then appears in front of Davis' Magician of Black Chaos and absorbs Dark Blade, the Dragon Knight's attack. “My trap card will stop your attack and, as an added bonus, will add your monster's attack points to my life-points!” The monster's attack fails, goes back to its original position, and Davis' life-points increase by 3000 to 11,000 life-points in total.

 

Desmond isn't impressed, places one card face-down, and declares, “Fine by me! You're just delaying your end! I place one card face-down and end my turn!”

 

Davis then states, “Fine!” Davis then draws a card and yells, “I draw!”

 

Desmond then shouts out, “Activate trap! Curse of Darkness!” Desmond's face-down card is revealed to be Curse of Darkness trap card. “My trap card will take 1000 life-points from us, every time we play a magic card! So, if you plan to use magic cards, you will have to deplete your own life-points.”

 

Davis then says, “Don't worry, I don't plan for this duel to last much longer! Now, I play Card of Sanctity! This forces the both of us to draw until we have six cards in our hands!” Davis' life-points then lower to 10,000 and both duelist draw until both of them have six cards. Davis then looks at his new hand and with a great grin, tells Desmond, “Well, it's time for me to end this duel.”

 

Desmond asks, not threatened tone, “With what?”

 

Davis replies, “With one of the cards that are just as powerful as the Seal of Orichalcos!” Davis then holds one of his cards into the air, dark clouds quickly form in the air, and lightning strikes the card, causing everyone to cover their eyes, expect for Davis and Desmond, who screamed out in shock. Davis then calls out, “Now, I sacrifice Dark Magician Girl. . .!” The Dark Magician Girl then disappears into the card. Davis then yells out, “. . . Dark Magician. . .!” Davis' Dark Magician then vanishes into the card he's holding into the air. Davis then shouts out, “. . . And my Magician of Black Chaos, in order to summon. . .!” Davis then puts the card on his duel disk, causing the image of Slifer the Sky Dragon card to appear in front of him, and Davis declares, “. . . My Egyptian God Card, the almighty Slifer the Sky Dragon!” The image of the Egyptian God Card then shoots a bolt of lightning into the air that escapes out of the seal and then the form of Slifer the Sky Dragon the wraps itself around the Seal of Orichalcos on the field. When the Egyptian God monster is fully forms, he lowers his head until he was above Davis' body and gives out a great roar.

 

Sora then asks, fearful of Slifer the Sky Dragon like the rest of the Digidestined and Digimon, “Is. . . Is that the monster I think it is?”

 

TK replies, “Yeah, no kidding! That's the Egyptian God Card, Slifer the Sky Dragon! I never thought that I see HIM in real life!”

 

Mimi says, in a REAL nervous tone, “He's more than scary! He's terrifying!”

 

Tai then says, “However, now that Davis has Slifer on the field, the duel is practically won!”

 

Yami then replies, “We'll see.” Slifer the Sky Dragon stats at this time, since Davis has five cards in his hand, are 5000/5000!

 

Desmond then thinks in his head, nearly in a panic, “Not HIM! Of all the monsters that I would have to face, why did I have to fight an Egyptian God Card?! Only another Egyptian God Card has a chance to stop him, which I DON'T have! This can't be!”

 

Davis then takes another card from his hand and says, “Now, I will use another 1000 life-point to use Pot of Greed, thanks to your trap!” Davis then inserts the card into his duel disk and his life-points lower to 9000, but Davis draws two cards, giving six cards in his hand and Slifer the Sky Dragon 6000 attack and defense points! “Now, with the six cards in my hand, my Sky Dragon has 6000 attack and defense points, more than enough to wipe your monster and the rest of your life-points!” Davis tells Desmond.

 

Desmond begs, knowing what will happen when he loses, “Please, Prince Motomiya, don't do it!”

 

Davis replies, in a solemn tone, “I'm sorry, but you did this do yourself when you used the Seal of Orichalcos. Don't worry, one day, when this is all over and all worlds are safe, I will save you.” Davis then commands, “Now, Slifer the Sky Dragon, attack Desmond's Dragon Knight and wipe out the rest of his life-points!” Slifer the Sky Dragon then moves his head back, preparing the launch his attack, and then Davis commands his God monster, “Attack with Thunderforce, now!” Slifer the Sky Dragon then launches his attack from his first mouth, which strikes Desmond's Dragon Knight with a powerful force, destroying the monster on impact, and depleting Desmond's life-points to zero.

 

When the smoke clears, Slifer the Sky Dragon `disappears' from the field, the Seal of Orichalcos then shrinks until it encompasses Desmond, and he screams out, as his soul was taken, “NO! PLEASE HELP ME!” While the others watch in terror and horror, Yami, Joey, and Davis can only look on in solemn and silent sadness as Desmond collapses to the ground as the Seal of Orichalcos `disappears'.

 

Yolei asks, fearful of the answer, “Did what I think just happened did happen?”

 

Tea says, in a sad tone, “That's right. The Seal of Orichalcos has taken his soul away.”

 

Mimi asks, in a scared tone and curiously, “What can we do?”

 

Davis goes over to Desmond's soulless body, puts him in his arms, goes over to a tree, lays him down, gently and comfortably by the tree, and replies, in a solemn tone, “There is nothing we can do, but to lay him down, gently, and leave his body in the hands on those creeps, through I hate to admit it, since we can't do anything more for him.” Davis then looks at his friends and says, “Come on, we better get going. Any one of DD's spies and `look-outs' could have seen or sensed the Seal of Orichalcos, Slifer the Sky Dragon, or both. We better get going to Ophanimon's castle.”

 

Tai nods his head in agreement, but then says, “This `insanity' has got to stop before it gets out of hand.”

 

Davis answers Tai, “This madness will stop, sooner or later, Tai, I can promise you that. But I've got a feeling that this will get worse before it gets better.”

 

TK nods his head and tells Davis, “Yeah, with our luck, Davis, you're right on the money.”

 

Matt then says, “We better leave, now, before Davis' `evil clone' sends more trouble our way.” Everyone else nods their heads also and continued on their way.

 

(Nearing Ophanimon's castle; By mid-afternoon)

 

In the same forest that Davis, Veemon, Kari, and Gatomon went through to get to Ophanimon's castle, we find Yugi, who switched with Yami, and his friends with all of the Digimon and all of the Digidestined, expect for Kari, walking through this same forest.

 

Tai then asks, curiously and in a respectful tone, “Davis, are you sure we are going the right way?”

 

Davis tells Tai, in response, “Right on track, Tai. This is the same forest that Kari, Gatomon, Veemon, and I took when my Crest of Miracles led all of us to Ophanimon's castle.”

 

Veemon then says, “Don't worry, everyone, we will be there, soon.”

 

“Not if we have anything to say about it!” a male voice yells back. Everyone then looks an 18 year old young woman with long black hair that goes three-quarters down her waist, with a Sacred Bead/Magatama in her left ear, her clothes were a top that covers down to her waist, with connecting a split skirt that covers her front and her back of her groin area and down to three-quarters of her lower legs, and finally plain leather boots that are the same color as her top. Beside this young woman, were two burly high school boys, who also have similar Sacred Beads/Magatamas to the young woman, expect that hers is gold and theirs are silver.

 

The young woman comes up to Davis, “Daisuke Motomiya, we met again.”

 

Davis nods his head and says, in a serious tone, “It has been a while, Kakouen Myousai.”

 

Sora then asks Davis, “Davis, do you know her?”

 

Davis nods his head and answers, “Yes, Kakouen comes from a world of Toushi or Fighters `rule' the area of Kyoto in Japan. Those `jewels' on their ears are known as Sacred Beads or Magatamas, actually, those `jewels' of the souls of famous warriors that fought in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms era of China. The Sacred Beads, actually, help magnify the Toushi's abilities in combat, but the catch is that they have to repeat his history and repeat the same fate that fell on the soul that they carry on the `jewel'.”

 

Matt exclaims, amazed, “Whoa! That's amazing!”

 

Davis then looks at Kakouen and tells her, “Let me guess: You're `master' ordered you to stop me and my friends from getting to Ophanimon's castle, correct?” Kakouen nods her head in agreement. Davis then asks, in calm tone, “Then I will ask you to please move.”

 

The two male Toushi come up and one of them says, “You will have to get by us, first!”

 

Davis looks at the two of them and using Jedi `mind-control', tells them, “No, you two will knock each other out.”

 

The two men then face each other and say, under Davis' Jedi `mind-control', “No, we will knock each other out.” Both male Toushi then hit each other in their faces, knocking them out. Everyone, even Kakouen, but Veemon, was stunned at what just happened.

 

Ken then asks Davis, knowing that what happened was his doing, “Davis, what did you do?”

 

Davis replies, “I was taught in the ways of the Jedi by Jedi Master Yoda and Obi-Wan. But don't worry, my Jedi `mind-control' only works on the weak minded.”

 

Matt then says, “Unfortunately for them, those two fell into that category.”

 

Davis then tells Kakouen, “I will ask you, one more and ONLY one more time, Kakouen, to leave your `goons' and tells your `master' that he's with the `wrong side'.”

 

Kakouen tells Davis, “You know that I can't and won't do that, Daisuke Motomiya.”

 

Davis takes a deep breath, removes his backpack from his back, and tells Kakouen, in more cold and emotionless tone, “Then you leave me, no choice, Kakouen. Remember, what happens to you is by your decision.” Davis then moves forward until he was six yards away from her.

 

Yami thinks, amazed, “Huh? Davis' tone, it's changed! Now, he sounds totally serious and without a hint of emotion on him, now.”

 

The other Digidestined and their Digimon, also noticing Davis' changed tone, are surprised, expect for Veemon, and Cody states, “Davis' tone, it has totally changed.”

 

TK nods his head in agreement and tells Cody, in reply, “Yeah, now, Davis' tone sounds cold. . . without a hint of emotion.”

 

Davis then tells Kakouen, in that same cold and emotionless tone, “You have the first move, Kakouen, but choose, carefully.” Both fighters then don't do anything for a few moments and then Kakouen leaps high into the air, lifts her left arm, and prepares to elbow Davis, using super-human speed, but the instant that she gets close, Davis moves so fast, it is like that he vanishes into thin air, causing Kakouen's attack to hit the ground, causing small chasm, two dozen yards in length, but only six inches in width to appear on the ground. Kakouen looks around for her opponent, but doesn't find our Digidestined of Miracles. Davis' voice then calls out to Kakouen, “Looking for someone?” Kakouen then looks ahead of her, the source of Davis' voice, only to get smashed in the face by Davis' fist, which sends Kakouen into a huge boulder, which splits into two when she hits it.”

 

Matt then says, “Ouch! Could Davis be a bit too rough?!” But then Kakouen, a bit dirty and some cuts, otherwise alright, leap out of the rubble, and high into the air.

 

Izzy then tells Matt, “It looks like that Davis was too SOFT on her.” Davis then uses his super-speed to `vanish' about everyone's sight.

 

Joey looks around and says, “Whoa! How did he do that?!” Kakouen, still in mid-air, also looks for Davis, but then looks to see Davis above her, with a cold and emotionless expression on his face. But before Kakouen could do anything, Davis bashes her in the neck with his right hand, causing Kakouen to slam and imprint on the ground. And then Davis slams both of his feet into Kakouen's lower chest like a megaton of bricks, causing Kakouen to cough at a huge amount of blood and a crater to from around Kakouen's fallen body. Davis then jumps out of crater and off of Kakouen's body. When the others get a good look at Davis, they are surprised and flabbergasted to see a cold and emotionless expression on his face.

 

Tai thinks in his own mind, “Davis' expression has totally changed! He looks so cold and emotionless!” Kakouen then gets to her feet, but before she can move, Kakouen then sees Davis' right hand, in a karate chop form, nearly on her neck!

 

Davis then tells Kakouen, in a calm and cold tone, with only a little emotion, “If I had completed my maneuver, your head wouldn't still be on your shoulders, Kakouen.” The two male Fighters then woke up and gasp to see the condition Kakouen was in.

 

Kakouen then says, in her usual tone, “I see. My `associates' and I stood no chance against you.”

 

Davis tells Kakouen, in a calm tone, “Please leave then. I don't wish to hurt you, anymore, but I warn you, if you do, then I won't be responsible for what happens.” Kakouen then looks at her two male Fighter `companions' and motions for them to follow her. All of them do so and walk until they were out of sight.

 

Tai then comes up and asks Davis, “Davis, how much did Kari's `possession' under the Seal of Orichalcos effect you, really?”

 

Davis then tells Tai, with a weak smile, “I really don't get anything past you, do I Tai? Well, to answer your question, Kari's `possession' under the Seal of Orichalcos effected a lot more than I let on to everyone expect Kari, she could tells and read me like a book. Let's just say that the last of my `youthful innocence' is gone, forever, I've, too, gained a more `darker part or side' to my personality, and I'm not and won't be the same Daisuke Motomiya, ever again. These are experiences that you will never forget.”

 

TK then says, “I bet, Davis. Wow, we never knew how much you were affected by Kari and what happened to her.”

 

Davis then tells TK, “Well. . . I didn't want everyone to worry about me, that's all.” Davis then starts to walk towards Ophanimon's castle and tells everyone, with his usual grin, “Don't worry, I'm okay. Come on, let's go to Ophanimon's castle.” Everyone nod their heads in agreement, but they can't help themselves and wonder about our Digidestined of Miracles. Just in front of Ophanimon's castle, both `teams' of heroes/heroines look in awe of Ophanimon's home, and then Davis says, with a grand smile, “My friends. . . Ophanimon's castle.”

 

Mimi comments, amazed, “Wow, it is so beautiful.”

 

Matt then says, “Well, what are we waiting for. Let's go.”

 

“Yeah!” Joey and all of the Digidestined and their Digimon exclaim in unison, in an excited tone. All of them then head for Ophanimon's castle and to see what's ahead for them on this journey. . .

 

End of Chapter 2

 

Next time on Chapter 3: More Surprises, Battles, and Allies: When the gang enters Ophanimon's castle, all of Davis' friends meet the Mega Holy Angel Knight Digimon for the first time. Then the gang finds out that Ophanimon, Gennai, and Azulongmon hadn't been idle for the past five years. They have assembled Digidestined from all over the world with `unique' abilities to create a `Digidestined elite corps' or `Digidestined Special Forces' to help Davis, his friends, human and Digimon, and all of his allies/friends. However, DD and the others, including Kari, under her guise of being on DD's side, with small army of SkullMeramon. But ExVeemon shows that Davis and Kari aren't the only ones that have gotten more powerful since they left home by, with some help from Davis, in the form of battlechips, single-handed, only as a Champion, took out the army of Ultimates. But then when DK comes in with the help of the witches from Cloud Tower, the Winx Club girls come in to lend a hand or a pixie wing, whatever, with their magic. Davis also helps out by showing the magic and aeons that he gained from Spira on Kari's `evil clone' and her allies. And finally, with more shocked, none other than Serena AKA Sailor Moon comes into the Digidestined's world to lend her aid from five years or five decades of her own dimensional travel. Why did Serena travel between worlds? Well, Sailor Moon, in her new form of Sailor Celestial Knight Moon, is also an Interdimensional Warrior! Whoa! Real shocker! Expect this and more shocking surprises to come next time on Digimon Worlds!

 

Well, here it is, the next chapter of this story! Like I said that this story had plenty of shocking surprises and this Digimon Mega Crossover is going to be different than this one! One major difference that I'm adding is that not only Digimon characters are going to be Interdimensional Warriors! Serena is going to be one of the non-Digimon Interdimensional Warriors, but I'm going to add more! Which characters do you want to be Interdimensional Warrior?! Tell me through e-mail or through your reviews about which character do you want to be an Interdimensional Warrior not from one of the Digimon seasons. It can be any anime, video game character, cartoon, television show, book, comic book, or movie character from any of those worlds! I will read your `votes/suggestions' and consider all of them during much of this story. Now, I'm sorry if I went `too far' on the language in this chapter, but I really want to make the Dark Digidestined really evil and Kari, using her `darker side' of her personality to be really un-Kari like dark. If anyone is offended by the language, then accept my apologizes, but I will try to work on that. Now, I hope that you liked my adding crossover between worlds and adding non-anime and non-video game elements, early, into this story. Please read and review my chapter!
