Well, I can see that this story has been going pretty good for the first nine chapter going on to this tenth chapter. However, I am sorry that it has taken so long to update this story, but like I said in the last stories that I've update is that my computer has been `off-line' for the time period April 14 and April 17 that they really `set-back' my `time-line' with all of my stories, but since I've decided to leave FanFiction since they wrongly taken off another of my stories and only stay there as a signed reviewer since they have some good author, there, as well as here, I've devoted my time to all of my stories on mediaminer fanfiction website. So, don't worry, all of my multi-chaptered stories will getting new updates as fast as I can write them. Well, for the time being, since I'm working on six stories at once, but don't worry, I've got this all planned out, so, all of them, sooner or later, will be getting updates. Now, with this done and over with, I don't own Digimon, Fencer of Minerva, Daphne in Brilliant Blue, or anything/anyone that comes from other stories that end up in this fanfiction! Digimon 02: Digidestined of Minerva

 

Recap: When the team arrived at Oceanous City, they were amazed and awe-struck at the beauty of this futuristic port city! Davis then tells the gang that they should have a base of operations since they are going to be in the Digital World for prolonged periods of time. If they are going to have a `temporary home', the Digidestined gang knew that they had to get jobs. Well, Davis searched and found a job at the DSA, the Digidestined Danger Service Agency, an `organization' that's one of the only several organizations run by Digidestined. This organization takes high-paying jobs, but those high-paying jobs also tend to be the most dangerous of all jobs. When they arrived, they were greeted by Thomas, the Digidestined branch manager of Oceanous branch of the DSA, where, when he accessed Davis' information, the rest of the gang found out more about Davis' four years in the Digital World since all of them last him. And, boy, did Davis' information tell a real tale about his life in the Digital World! Then they met Serenity, a friend of Davis' during his time in the Digital World that he hasn't seen in around two to three years, who is a boss of the DSA! After that, Davis, Kari, Tai, Sora, and their Digimon partner joined up with the DSA and the rest of the gang decided to find `homes' and `jobs' somewhere in Oceanous City. However, since Kari is a slave, her `uniform' while her `master' Davis is part of the DSA would be female `field uniform' for DSA member and boy, Davis nearly jumped out of his boots when he saw Kari wearing it! What do you think Tai will think? After Davis and Kari and, at the same time, Tai and Sora were having some `pre-bed private time', all of them went to sleep. Chapter 10: First Mission and First Surprises

 

(In the headquarters of the DSA; Around early in the morning)

 

Now, we find ourselves inside Davis' and Kari's room inside of the DSA's Oceanous branch headquarters and both Digidestined were under the blanket, totally naked. And then Kari stirs slight, gives a light and low yawn, and then notices that she is totally naked on top of a bed. Our Digidestined of Light then looks to see her lover, Daisuke Motomiya, quietly sleeping, and not snoring one bit.

 

Kari smiles and thinks to herself, “During this whole time that I've been sleeping with Dai-chan, I've never noticed that he never snores anymore. Guess he must have worked on it since I saw him.” Kari wanted to kiss her love on his forehead, but she decided not to disturb him. He has had a hard time during this over one-half of a year and, in her mind, he deserved every bit of extra rest he can get. Kari then slowly and gently gets out of the bed, puts on her `uniform', and then begins to clean up the place. However, the sunlight of morning hits Davis in the eyes, causing him to stir, he then feels around, notices Kari isn't with him, and opens his eyes to see Kari, in her new `uniform' clean up their room. Kari looks at Davis and tells him, sweetly, “Good morning, master. How are you this morning?”

 

Davis smiles, gives a great big yawn, and replies, “And good morning to you, Hikari-chan. If you need to know, wonderful, since I knew that you were with me, all night.”

 

Kari smiles and tells Davis, “Daisuke, I will never leave your side, ever again. I love you, too much, and you always keep me, nice and warm, in more ways than one.”

 

Davis then goes over to Kari, kiss her on the cheek, and tells her, “You're so sweet, Kari. But you keep my heart warm as much as I warm your heart.” Kari blushes and giggles from Davis' kiss and remarks. Davis then goes over to his clothes, assembles them, and then puts all of his clothes on. Davis then asks Kari, “Ready to go to work, Kari?”

 

Kari then replies, in a sweet tone, “With you, my darling, anytime.” Davis and Kari looks to see their clock says 8:58 A.M. in the morning.

 

Davis then tells Kari, “We better get to office.”

 

Kari nods her head and replies, “Right.” Davis and Kari then head to the door, open the door, and both of them head outside.

 

(On the meanwhile; Inside of Tai's and Sora's room)

 

We find our Digidestined of Courage and Love sleeping together on the same bed with Sora nuzzling her hair on Tai's chin and neck and then Tai begins to stir. When Tai opens his eyes, he looks down to see a naked Sora Takenouchi lying down on his bare chest. He smiles, bends his head down, and kisses Sora on her forehead.

 

Sora stirs somewhat, moves her head slightly, looks up, and smiles to see her beloved Tai Kamiya looking down on her, saying, in low and loving tone, “Morning, darling. Have a good sleep last night?”

 

Sora goes up, kisses Tai on his left cheek, and responds, in her own loving and low tone, “Incredible. You were absolutely amazing last night, Tai-chan.”

 

Tai giggles and tells Sora, “Do sell yourself short, Sora-chan. I could barely breath after you and I had our `fun' last night and I'm glad that you `enjoyed' yourself.”

 

Sora tells Tai, in a loving tone, “Thanks, sweetie. But we have to ready for our first day of work.”

 

Tai replies, “Tell me about it.” Tai and Sora have a good laugh from Tai's last comment. Sora and Tai then get to their feet, get their clothes on, head to the door, open the door, and head out of the door.

 

(In the hallway; A short time after)

 

Davis and Kari come out into the hallway at the same time that Tai and Sora leave their room and come into the same hallway.

 

Sora asks, “Good morning to the both of you. Did the both of you have some `fun', last night?” Kari and Davis blush widely, knowing what she is implying.

 

Tai then gets a good look at Kari and her `new outfit' and he exclaims, flabbergasted, “Kari, what in the world are you wearing?!”

 

“Here we go!” Davis and Kari thought in their own minds at the same time.

 

Davis then tells Tai, “Tai, before you blow your top on me, you have to know that this wasn't my idea. Serenity gave this `uniform' to Kari to act as her `slave uniform' for while we are working at the DSA. To be honest, she doesn't like this `system' as much as I do, but she can't do anything about it, so, she has to conform.”

 

Tai sighs and says, in more calm tone, “Yeah, I guess that I `overreacted' . . . a bit. At least, a certain area of Kari's body is `less exposed' than in her `last uniform' than in `this uniform'.” Kari then blushes seven shades of red, even if that's possible, from Tai's `comments'.

 

Sora then says, trying to change the subject and the `mood', if possible, “Anyway, we have to get to work. It is nearly 9:00 A.M.”

 

Davis, Kari, and Tai nod their heads in agreement with Sora and they say in unison, “Right.”

 

And then Veemon's voice calls out, “Hey, wait for us!” The four Digidestined turn to look behind them and they see their four Digimon partner running up to the four of them and then they stop when the four Digimon reach all of their Digidestined partners.

 

Kari asks Silk, “Have a good sleep last night?”

 

Gatomon gives a wide mischievous smile and answers, “Well, you can say that.” Then our four Digidestined and their Digimon partners then head down to DSA's `office area' of the building.

 

Davis then asks Tai, “By the way, why were you and Sora sharing the same room?” Tai and Sora then gain wide blushes from Davis' question and become quite nervous, surprising Davis, but Davis gives a wide grin and says, in a real `naughty' tone, “Oh, I see. . .” Kari, noticing the whole thing, is barely keeping herself from even giggling the smallest bit.

 

Tai then says, stuttering and in a nervous tone, “Well. . . I . . . we. . . Well, let's get going.”

 

Sora says, just as nervous as Tai, “Right.” All of them then continue down to DSA's office, but Davis and Kari have wide grins on their faces, knowing Tai's and Sora's, now, more `passionate relationship'.

 

(In the DSA's Main Office; Moments later)

 

When Davis, Kari, Tai, Sora, and their Digimon partners enter the main office of the DSA building, they find Shizuka, with a Gomamon besides her, and Serenity, with a Gabumon-sized, in height, four-legged silver fox with four silver tails with white tips by her side.

 

Serenity sees the four Digidestined enter the room and calls out, “Hey, good morning! And on time, too, that's great!”

 

Davis smiles and says, with a bit of a sarcastic tone, “And a good morning to you, Serenity.”

 

Kari points to the fox Digimon and asks Serenity, “Is that your Digimon?”

 

Veemon replies, “Yep! I went with Davis to the Ocean Agency and met Serenity's Digimon partner along with Serenity. Her name is Silvermon.”

 

Digimon Analyzer (Veemon's voice)

 

“Silvermon is a Rookie Silver Fox Digimon, vaccine type, this Digimon is a mythical Digimon, rarely seen by even Digimon, with very little being known about them, but what we do know is that their Fox Flames and Silver Wind attacks make sure their enemies know that they aren't wimps!”

 

Silvermon lowers her body, doing a bow, and says, in a proper and kind tone, “Please to meet you.”

 

Sora then asks Serenity, “Who is this with you?”

 

Shizuka then says, introducing herself, “Oh, my name is Shizuka Hayama, the Digidestined technical and mechanical expert here at the DSA's Oceanous Branch.”

 

Davis then nods his head in understand and says, “Yeah, Serenity told us about you yesterday! Nice to meet you!”

 

Shizuka smiles and says, “Serenity also told me about you, Davis! Please to meet you, too!”

 

“Hi, I'm Tai!” Tai tells Shizuka.

 

“I'm Sora.” Sora says to Shizuka, introducing herself.

 

Kari then bows and says, “I'm Kari, Davis' `personal servant', I'm pleased to meet you.”

 

Shizuka smiles, giggles a bit, and says, “Yes, Serenity told me about the rest of you, too. Hello and welcome to the DSA!” Shizuka, looking at the Gomamon at her feet, “This is my Digimon partner, her name is Seala, she's a female Gomamon.”

 

Seala nods her head and says, in a cute female voice, “Hi.”

 

Veemon then says to Seala, “Hey, Seala, the name is Veemon.”

 

Gatomon then bows her head and says, “I'm Gatomon, my name is Silk.”

 

“I'm Agumon, nice to meet you, Seala.” Agumon says, greeting Seala.

 

“Hello, Seala, I'm Biyomon.” Biyomon tells Seala, introducing herself.

 

Serenity then says, “And all of us met Thomas, yesterday. He and his Digimon partner are currently out on errands, so, we can get down to business, here.” Serenity then asks Sora and Kari, “Sora, can you and Kari help clean this place a little? And Tai and Davis, could you help with the paperwork?”

 

Sora and Kari then answer, nicely and in an enthusiastic tone, “Sure!”

 

Tai then says, nervously, “I'm not that good with paperwork.”

 

Davis then tells Tai, “Don't worry, Tai, I've got good with paperwork `assortment' over the past four years. I had plenty to do while a part of the Ocean Agency and the Digital World Defense Forces.”

 

Tai asks Davis, in an amazed tone, “Is there anything you CAN'T do these days?”

 

Davis replies, in a taunting tone, “Good miming.” Kari, Sora, Serenity, and Shizuka couldn't help themselves but laugh at Davis' `comment'/joke.

 

Tai groans and says, with a smile, “Very funny, Davis.”

 

Serenity then tells Tai, “Actually, Tai, there are some boxes downstairs that we need to be moved. They aren't too heavy.”

 

Tai smiles and responds, in a nice tone, “Sure, Serenity.”

 

Serenity then states, “Okay, I will show where they are.” Serenity then looks at Shizuka and commands, in a nice tone, “Shizuka, please show Davis, Kari, and Sora what they need to do here, while I help Tai downstairs.”

 

Shizuka nods her head and replies, “Okay!” Serenity then leads Tai, downstairs, while Shizuka helps Davis, Kari, and Sora with their `morning tasks'.

 

(Late Morning; In the backalleys of Oceanous City)

 

Now, the late morning, pre-noontime hour(s), we find Davis, in his Digi-World clothing, with Kari, in her new `uniform', running down the backalleys of Oceanous City with strange guns in their right hands. They run to a side of a building, stop at the side, and then lean on the side of the building. The two Digidestined then shuffle to a corner and wait a few seconds in silence. Both of them then turn the corner and draw their guns.

 

Kari then lowers her gun and says, “Well, this is easier than we thought.”

 

Davis groans out as he lowers his gun, “Not kidding. This is a simple `job'.” Both Digidestined look at a white cat with black stripes across it.

 

Kari then slowly goes over to the cat and tells the cat, “Nice kitty. Come to Kari.” When the Kari comes close to the cat, the cat `meows' in a real happy tone and jumps into Kari's arms and nuzzles his head on Kari's chin.

 

Davis sighs and says, plainly, “Come on, let's return him to his owner.” Davis thinks in his own mind, “What in the damn world is Serenity trying to pull here?!”

 

(Half-an-Hour before Noon; Near the Oceanous City port)

 

Kari and Davis were in portable underwater air masks, like the ones you see in futuristic shows like Daphne in Brilliant Blue, looking at the `floor' of the underline near the Oceanous City port. Both of them spot something glittering on the `floor', Kari points the `glow' out, Davis nods his head in understand, and picks up a beautiful piece of jewelry from the `floor'. Both then float back to the water's surface and display the jewelry to a young 24 year old woman who looks like a super-model.

 

She screams out, happily, “That's it! That's it! Oh, thank you, very much!” The young woman holds out her hands and Davis throws the jewelry to her, in which she catches it.

 

When Davis and Kari come out of the water, they take of their air masks and Kari says, “You're welcome.”

 

The young woman tells the two of them, happy to get that jewelry, “I don't know how to thank you.”

 

Davis smiles and replies, “Don't worry, it was nothing.”

 

(Back inside the Main Office of the DSA's building; Lunchtime)

 

Now, we return to the main office of the DSA's Oceanous Branch, where we find Davis, Kari, and their Digimon just entering the room.

 

Shizuka, who is working on a piece of machinery on her `station', calls out, nicely, “Welcome back!”

 

Kari replies, with a smile and nicely, “Hey, Shizuka! Thanks!”

 

Serenity, who is also there, tells them, “Okay, you two, after lunch, it is back to work.”

 

Davis then says, in an annoyed tone, “If catching lost cats and taking dips in the water is work.”

 

Tai's voice then calls to Davis, “Tell Sora and me about it.” Davis, Kari, Serenity, Shizuka, and their Digimon partners then see Tai, Sora, Agumon, and Biyomon, with slight worn out look on their faces.

 

Sora then says, “Getting cats out of trees and getting overdue payments is boring even for me.”

 

Davis then tells Serenity, “Serenity, that's my point! I don't know why are we being `assigned' these `small tasks'! I can surely handle something harder!”

Serenity then tells Davis, “Well, what about Kari?” Davis' eyes become wider when Serenity asks that question and Serenity tells Davis, “You have the experience and knowledge to handle the `major jobs' around here, but Kari doesn't. You are the one to teach her `the ropes' since she is your reasonability.”

 

Veemon then tells Davis, “You know, Davis, she has a point.”

 

Davis then says, “I hate to admit it, you're right. . . both you and Serenity, Veemon.”

 

Shizuka then says, “Okay, let's not discourage each other. Let's eat! I've got some great ramen noodles, egg rolls, and some pizza, ordered from an excellent Italian restaurant.”

 

Veemon exclaims, happily, “That's great!”

 

Davis, Kari, and Gatomon giggle at Veemon's enthusiasm and Davis says, with a wide grin on his face, “Yeah, you're right, Shizuka! Let's eat!” All of the Digidestined and all of their Digimon partners then go off into the kitchen to get their lunch and eat.

 

(In front of the DSA building; Around 1:00 P.M.)

 

Driving up to in front of DSA building is an old-fashion looking car in good condition and the car then stops in front of the DSA building. The door of the car then opens and an old man around his late 50s to early 60s step out of his car. His clothes are pretty expensive and in very good condition.

 

The old man comes up to the door, goes to some kind of com-device like ones you see in apartment buildings, presses a button, and asks into com-device, “Hello?”

 

Thomas' voice comes from the com-device saying, “Hello? This is Thomas, branch manager of the Digidestined Danger Service Agency's Oceanous Branch. May I help you?”

 

The old man pushes the com-device button, again, replies, in a begging tone, “My name is Handson and I need you help, please.”

 

Thomas says, over the com-device, “Okay, please wait. I will open the door.” Mr. Handson then hears `clicking' sound from the door and Thomas' voice calls from the com-device's speaker, “The door is open. Please come inside.”

 

Mr. Handson then says, in a thankful tone, “Thank you very much.” He then heads to the door, opens the door, and heads inside of the DSA building.

 

(Inside of the Main Office; A short time later)

 

We find Serenity and Thomas sitting on one couch, facing Mr. Handson, who is sitting another couch across a small table, with Davis, Kari, Tai, Sora, and Shizuka watching and listening to his story.

 

Serenity then asks Mr. Handson, “So, someone stole your money that you saved for your daughter's wedding?”

 

Mr. Handson shakes his head and says, nearly in a panic, “No. No. A Digimon stole it and someone was working with the Digimon, probably the Digimon's boss or something.”

 

Thomas then tells Mr. Handson, “Please sir, calm down. Please tell us what happened from the beginning.”

 

Mr. Handson then says, “Okay, well, it happened just yesterday. I was coming from the bank after I withdrew the money. . .” Then the scene turns into a flashback. . .

 

FLASHBACK; One Day Ago

 

Mr. Handson comes out of the bank with a bag with all of his money when he looks above him only to get kick in the back of the head by some Digimon.

 

When he regains his senses, he hears a male voice calls out, “Good work! Time to go!” Mr. Handson then sees a hand takes his bag and great on hoverboard and race off. Mr. Handson looks up to see man with a black jacket with a two blue lightning bolts crossing each other in the center of the back of the jacket, racing away with his money.

 

Mr. Handson calls out, in horror, “No! Stop thief!” But it was too late, he was gone and nobody came to help him.

 

END FLASHBACK; Return to the Present

 

Now, we return the main office of the DSA building where Mr. Handson is done talking and telling his story about what happened to him to Thomas and Serenity with Davis, Kari, Tai, Sora, and Shizuka were listening on the meanwhile.

 

Serenity then says, “A man with black jacket with two blue lightning crossing each other? That sounds like this person comes from downtown area of Oceanous City.”

 

Mr. Handson then begs Serenity, “Please get my money back! My daughter's wedding is only one week away!”

 

Shizuka then tells Mr. Handson, “Sir, I think that I can handle it.”

 

Serenity then asks Shizuka, “You already have plenty of work in your workload, can you handle extra work?”

 

Shizuka then looks at Davis and Kari, stating, “If I can get the help of another ex-member of the Ocean Agency and his `personal servant'?”

 

Davis then replies, “Sure, you've got my help!”

 

Kari nods her head and says, “Of course!”

 

Serenity nods her head and says, “Okay, all three of you have one week to get Mr. Handson's money back, got it?”

 

Shizuka, Davis, and Kari reply, “Yes, ma'am!”

 

Mr. Handson nods his head and says, “Oh, thank you! Thank you so much!” Thomas then escorts Mr. Handson to the door and back to his car.

 

(Late Afternoon; In the DSA building's main office)

 

We find Shizuka typing on a computer with a holographic computer screen and staring at map of downtown Oceanous City, which looks to be very large.

 

“Wow! That's a large area to cover!” Kari exclaims, in amazement.

 

Tai asks Kari, “Kari, are you sure that you can handle this?”

 

Kari smiles and replies, “Don't worry, Tai. With Daisuke around, I can handle anything.”

 

Davis tells Tai, “Tai, I told you that I would care for her and I will, too.”

 

Tai smiles at Davis, “Well, you've been together over six months and I don't think that isn't much to worry about. Okay.”

 

Davis then looks at Shizuka and asks her, “Shizuka, how should we handle this `mission'?”

 

Shizuka then answers, “It's best that we look around `town' and ask around.”

 

Davis then asks, curiously, “Do you think that we can do that?”

 

Shizuka smiles at Davis and tells Davis in reply, confidently, “Sure!”

 

Veemon then declares, in his confident tone, “Then let's do it!”

 

(Downtown Oceanous City; Early Evening)

 

In the downtown area of Oceanous City, we find Shizuka, Davis, Kari, and their three Digimon partners walking down the streets and looking around.

 

Kari wraps her arms around Davis' left arm and says, “Daisuke, this place looks kind of scary.”

 

Davis tells Kari, “Please keep close, Kari.” Veemon and Gatomon then look around and watch diligently for any threats to their partners' lives.

 

Shizuka says, “Don't worry about these people, you two! They may seem nasty, but they are only like that to protect themselves and they are all bark and not bite! But most people around here are as nice as people anywhere else in the world.” Shizuka then looks around, her eyes widen in excitement as she sees something or someone that catches her interest. Shizuka then begins to go into a light run towards whatever catches her interest.

 

Kari then notices Shizuka going off and tells Davis, “Davis, where is Shizuka going?”

 

Davis looks to see what Kari sees and he replies, “I don't know, Kari. We better follow her.” Davis, Kari, and the three Digimon follow the two Digidestined to where Shizuka is going, but Davis, Kari, Veemon, and Gatomon are horrified to see Shizuka stopping in front of three young men the same age as Shizuka, but they looks like that they were members of gang or something like that. When all five of them, human and Digimon, come over to Shizuka, things were different than they seem.

 

One of the three men says, nicely, “Hey, Shizuka. It has been a long time and you've really grown up. Look at you! You're a fine excellent example of beautiful young lady.”

 

Shizuka blushes and replies, “Thanks, guys! But I wouldn't say that I'm a `lady' in my kind of work!”

 

Another man then asks Shizuka, “By the way, how's work going?!”

 

Shizuka replies, “Work has been tough, but it's okay.” When Shizuka notices Davis, Kari, and their Digimon partners, with Seala, she points to them, “Oh, this is Davis Motomiya, one of the Odaiba Digidestined, his `personal servant', Kari, and their two Digimon partners, Veemon and Gatomon.”

 

The first man to talk to Shizuka, “One of THE Odaiba Digidestined?! My words! Man, it is an honor to meet you, Davis!”

 

Davis, stunned by this, answers, nervously, “Sure, no problem!”

 

Shizuka then tells them, “They just going the DSA just yesterday, but Davis has plenty of expertise in this kind of work, so, I'm sure that they can handle it.” The three men then bow their heads in introduction and respect and Davis, Kari, and their Digimon do the same, likewise. Shizuka then asks the three men, “By the way, have you seen a guy? Like someone that has been spending big since yesterday afternoon and night?”

 

All of them shake their heads and the first person to greet Shizuka replies, “Sorry, Shizuka, we haven't. If we have, you know that we take the money for ourselves, but now, that you talked to us, we will contact you if we hear anything.”

 

Shizuka tells them, “Thanks a lot, we really appreciate this!”

 

All of the men blush, smile, and say, in unison, “No problem!” And then the three Digidestined and their Digimon continue to look around and ask people around town, but they didn't find any information. While they are relaxing by a nearby harbor within the downtown area, they are sitting at the edge of the harbor.

 

Kari then asks Shizuka, “Shizuka, how do you know the people around here?”

 

Shizuka then replies, “Well, I lost my mom and dad when I was young and lived in the downtown area for nearly most of my life, so, I know this place inside and out and all the people around here are my family.”

 

Davis tells Shizuka, “I'm sorry about your mom and day, but that's a real nice story, Shizuka.”

 

Shizuka smiles and says, “Thanks, Davis.” Davis and Kari then give a slight yawn, causing Shizuka to ask, “Are the two of you tired?”

 

Davis then answers, “Not really.” But then Davis and Kari give off even louder yawns.

 

Kari then says, in a real nice tone, “Well, we are a little tried.”

 

Shizuka smiles at the two Digidestined and tells them, “We can try, again, tomorrow, at a different time.” Shizuka then looks at their three Digimon partners and sees them, ready to go to sleep, causing Shizuka to say, “Well, our partners are ready to flop down and saw logs. We better head back.”

Davis then calls out, “Sorry that we were late! Kari and I accidentally overslept!” When Davis and Kari look to Shizuka's workstation, they find her with Veemon, Gatomon, and Seala.

 

Shizuka greets them with a wide smile and states, “Morning, you two! Today, we are going to catch our thief!”

 

Kari asks, out of curiosity, “How?”

 

Tai and Sora comes into the room and Tai says, “Yesterday, Sora and I were helping a company with getting payments on their apartments. One tenant was a real dead beat and then another tenant told us that he was yelling that he came into a lot of money, two days ago, at the same time that Mr. Handson's got robbed. When he got permission to enter his apartment dorm, we found THIS!” Sora then holds up the exact same jacket that Mr. Handson described that the man that robbed him wore.

 

Sora asks, as she was holding up the jacket, “Look familiar?”

 

Shizuka says, “Based on the information this guy has a Digimon friend, a flying demon Digimon named IceDevimon, and this IceDevimon has a gang. Anyway, I've got a call from my friends that said that this guy has been spending a lot at a local downtown casino and brothel, but they don't outlaw brothels that use slaves for the casino's guests.”

Davis then groans out, “How far has society gone downhill these days?”

A voice then calls to him, “Not exactly!” When the man looks towards the source of the voice, Shizuka, Davis, Kari, and their three Digimon partners are looking at him.

 

Davis then asks the man, “The name is Desmond, isn't it?”

 

The man replies, “Yeah, so what?”

 

Shizuka replies, “We are members of the DSA, representing the Oceanous Housing Agency.” The man, Desmond, begins to panic when he hears that.

 

Davis tells Desmond, “I think that you should give back the money that you stole with the help of IceDevimon friend of yours.” Davis then shows his gun to Desmond, points to it, and says, “Or do we have to get rough?” Desmond growls in anger and then looks ahead of him. When the rest of the gang looks at what he's looking at, Desmond throws some `casino money' in their faces and runs. Shizuka aims her gun and fires, but hits innocent bystanders, however, the `bullets' Shizuka is firing are actually non-lethal devices that penetrate the skin only slight, but the `main punch' is electrical shock that knocks the `victim' out. So, all of Shizuka `hits' are not killed, but knocked out cold.

 

Davis tells Shizuka, shocked, “Shizuka, you're missing Desmond and hitting everyone else!”

 

Shizuka tells Davis, nervously, “Well, I'm classified as the worst shot in history of the city.”

 

Gatomon says, “Now, she tells us.” All of the gang then look to see security guards coming towards them.

 

Davis looks at Kari and asks her, “Kari?” Kari nods her head in agreement and takes her D-3 out, causing them to blaze with Kari's crest as well.

 

“Veemon digivolve to. . . ExVeemon!” Veemon cries out as he digivolves to his Champion form.

 

“Gatomon digivolve to. . . Angewomon!” Gatomon yells out as she digivolves into a female humanoid angel Digimon.

 

Davis then takes out a chip similar to the syncho-chip but with a picture label on it and says, “Time to see if these new battlechips work!” Davis inserts the battlechip into his D-3 Advanced and calls out, “Cybersword battlechip in! Download!”

 

ExVeemon right arm and hand into a sword handle with a blade of pure light energy, stopping the guards in their tracks, and ExVeemon points the Cybersword at them and asks, “Do you want a piece?” All of guards shake their heads and run out of there faster than you can say `chicken'.

 

Shizuka then says, “Great! Let's get after him!”

 

(Outside of the casino; A brief time later)

 

Shizuka, Seala, Kari, Angewomon, Davis, and ExVeemon are just outside of the casino and are looking for Desmond.

 

Davis calls out, annoyed, “Where are you?!”

 

A dark voice calls out, “Looking for someone, kids?!” When everyone looks behind them, they see an IceDevimon, with one SkullMeramon, one Datamon, and one Mamemon come out with Desmond waiting on the sidelines.

 

Shizuka says, “You must be that rotten Digimon that helped Desmond out?!”

 

IceDevimon smirks and states, in the dark confident tone, “Yeah, Desmond and I are good friends! And now, time to get rid of his problem! You!”

 

Davis inserts one battlechip in and exclaims, “Blaster battlechip in! Download!” ExVeemon's right hand then turns into small blaster-like cannon.

 

The Datamon exclaims, “No! This does not compute!”

 

ExVeemon yells out, “Compute this!” ExVeemon then fires the blaster, which sends waves after waves of energy `shells' at the four Digimon, causing them a good amount of damage.

 

“Take this! Metal Fireball!” SkullMeramon calls out, firing a breath of blue flames from his mouth at all of them.

 

Kari inserts her own battlechip into her own D-3 Advanced as Angewomon moves in-between the attack and cries out, “Barrier battlechip in and download!” A powerful barrier of energy then forms in front of Angewomon that `fizzles out' SkullMeramon's attacks.

 

Davis then says, “We're going to need more firepower than that.” Davis then takes out a Laser-Blast, a Hi-Cannon, and a Mega-Cannon battlechip, inserts them into his D-3 Advanced, and yells out, “Laser Blast battlechip in, Hi-Cannon battlechip in, and finally, Mega-Cannon battlechip in and download!” But then, to Davis' total surprise, his screen glowed and the words `Program Advanced activated' came on his D-3s screen. ExVeemon then looks to see his hands and lower arms glow with bright light, he raises them into the air, and when he brings them, again, there is a multi-barrel cannon where his two hands should be.

 

Angewomon asks, amazed, “What's going on? Where did ExVeemon get that cannon from?”

 

Davis replies, “I don't know. When I inserted those three battlechips in, my screen glowed and the words `Program Advanced activated' came on my screen. I don't how, but combing those three battlechip must have allowed me to tap into a great power for ExVeemon.

 

ExVeemon replies, “And I intend to use it! Program Advanced, Zeta Cannon!” ExVeemon's Zeta Cannon then fires a powerful orange beam at his four Digimon opponent, which causes a powerful explosion of energy to engulf them. When the smoke clears, IceDevimon has been deleted and the rest are critically damaged.

 

Shizuka then goes over to Desmond and tells him, “Okay, time to give back the money.”

 

Desmond then says, “There is no more! I spent at this whole casino and, yet, I didn't at one of them!”

 

Our three Digidestined and their Digimon couldn't believe their ears and Kari says, sadly, “All of that work. . .”

 

Angewomon then says, looking at their fallen opponents, “Well, all we can do is call the hospital for these three.” Shizuka then prepares to takes out her cell phone to call the nearest hospital for Digimon in the area.

 

(The Next Morning; In the main office of the DSA building)

 

Davis, Kari, Tai, Sora, and their partners with solemn looks on their faces look on as Serenity explains what Davis, Kari, Shizuka, and their Digimon partners told them about last night.

 

Mr. Handson sighs and says, “Thank you for all of your efforts. I don't know what to say.”

 

Shizuka's voice calls out, in a happy tone, “Don't despair just yet, everyone!” When everyone looks towards Shizuka's voice, they see her and Seala, with wide grins on their faces, come into the room.

 

Tai asks, curiously, “What are you so happy about Shizuka?”

 

Seala answers, “Shizuka found another way to solve Mr. Handson's `problem'.” Everyone gasps at Seala's `declaration'.

 

Shizuka tells Mr. Handson, “Mr. Handson, I've got an idea, it's about your car.”

 

Mr. Handson asks, not understand what Shizuka is talking about, “My car?” When Shizuka starts to explain, wide smiles were coming on everyone's faces.

 

(Five Days Later; At the Oceanous Wedding Chapel)

 

Everyone claps their hands and gives their cheers, as the beautiful bride, Mr. Handson's daughter, walks out of the wedding chapel with her new husband, while Mr. Handson sheds tears of pure joy. In the crowd are Tai, Sora, Shizuka, Serenity, and their Digimon partners, all of whom are `dressed up' in formal clothing for this occasion.

 

After the new bride and groom leave their limo, Mr. Handson goes over to the four and tells them, “I can't thank you enough!” Mr. Handson then hands over five thousands American dollars worth of Digi-dollars and tells them, “This is the least I can do for your help!”

 

Serenity, nicely takes the money, and tells him, “It's no problem at all. Anyway, our company motto is `Our clients' pain is our pain and our clients' smile are our reward'.”

 

Mr. Handson looks for Davis, Kari, and their Digimon partners and asks, curiously, “Where are your two `friends'? I wanted to thank that young man and his personal servant for their great help.”

 

Shizuka then tells Mr. Handson, “They told that they are sorry that they couldn't come to the wedding. They had some `business' to take care of on the beach.”

 

Mr. Handson shrugs his shoulders and says, “I see.”

 

Tai thinks in his own mind, “Oh, brother!”

 

(At the same time; At the Oceanous Beach)

 

Laying down on a mat in the sand, is Davis, in bathing trunks, and Kari, with a bikini and her slave's collar, laying down on Davis' bare and muscular chest, with their Digimon playing in the sand.
