Digimon 02: Digidestined of Minerva

 

Recap: The gang gets a big break in finding the lost city of Minerva when Izzy comes up with the location of some kind of ancient temple that's connected to the lost city. But then Kyoto and Renamon appeared for their rematch with Davis and Veemon, but after tripping a temple trap, they made a not so graceful exit. Chapter 13: Final Preparations

 

(One week later; inside the `main room' of the DSA headquarters building during the afternoon)

Serenity then hands Davis some kind of list and says, “Here's the list of our `connections'. Just refer to them and you won't have much trouble on your journey.”

 

Shizuka then says, a bit worriedly, “However, there are some parts of the journey that not even our connections can help you in.”

 

Tai replies, “Izzy told us about the `Forbidden Zones' and stuff we have to pass through, but when our team came together, we've always done the impossible before.”

Serenity tells Davis, “Well, we can give you a loan to aid on your journey, but it isn't a gift, it's a loan and we will want to be repaid.”

Davis roars at Kyoto, annoyed, “Can't you see I'm on an important mission here?! I don't have time to deal with you and your Renamon!”

 

Kyoto roars at Davis, angrily, “Tough! We're not going to let you go until we get that rematch!”

 

As Kyoto and Renamon walks closer, Davis says, “I wouldn't walk any closer.”

 

Kyoto tells Davis, not impressed, “I'm not imitated by threats, Motomiya.” But then Kyoto and Renamon fall into a large pit that appears when they covering collapses, swallowing Kyoto and Renamon.

 

Veemon smiles and says, “We saw this trap when we got here. Someone must have left this trap and it never got discovered from sometime ago.”

 

Gatomon states, “Well, I suggest that we take off before she gets out of there.” All of the Digidestined and Digimon agree as they go around the pit and run off into the distance, trying to get as far away from Kyoto and her partner as fast as possible.

 

Inside of the pit, Kyoto groans out in pain, “Damn it! I injured my leg!”

 

Renamon tells Kyoto, concerned, “We have to get to a hospital or something, Kyoto.”

 

Kyoto hands Renamon a mini-tracking device and she tells her, “No! Plant this one Motomiya or one of his friends! Hurry!” Renamon teleports out of the pit, throws the bug, and it lands on Cody's backpack on his pack. Renamon goes back in the pit and she simply nods her head. Kyoto then thinks, “You may have gotten away, but now, there is no way you and your friends can hide from me! And soon, I will beat you, Motomiya! You and your dragon and then the whole Digital World will know that Renamon and I are the strongest team that there ever was!” Renamon then puts Kyoto into her arms, gets her out of the pit, and takes her back to Oceanous City to get some medical attention while she looks at her tracking device motion, showing the `blip' that the tracking device on Cody's backpack.

 

Next time in Chapter 14: Warrior of Judgement: While beginning the `final step' on journey to Minerva, they are attacked a by huge group of bandits and they threaten their lives as well as our four female Digidestined. Just then a mysterious Digidestined and his Digimon partner saves them with incredible powers and abilities and it was revealed that he's another of the Celestial Crest bearers, the bearer of Judgement! This honorable warrior Digidestined and his warrior partner takes them to his dojo and training center when they meet his female apprentice and her Digimon partner. Actually, both `master' and `student' are around the same age and the `student' is taken with the `master'. Well, our Warrior of Judgement tells about his knowledge about Minerva and wishes to train our Digidestined of Miracles and Veemon in the skills that he has mastered. However, he also gives a warning about the `enemy' knowing of their journey and Davis. Then as if on cue, an old enemy has somehow returned! Piedmon of the Dark Masters has escaped the Gate of Destiny and the Digidestined battle him, but he's much more powerful than ever! Can our Digidestined of Miracles and Digidestined of Judgement use an ancient Digital World `technique' to stop this egoistical clown before the joke is on them?!
