Digimon Fan Fiction ❯ A Crush In The Future ❯ Chapter 1 ( Chapter 1 )
*~*~(Willis)~*~*
"Willis, where are we heading," Lopemon, one of my two digimon, said from beside me.
"We are going to see a old friend," I said looking at my two digimon on the seat.
All the other digidestine only got one but I was lucky and got twins. Both them looked a like but there were differences. Terriamon was green and beige. He was older in a way and had a single horn on top of his head. Lopemon on the other side was pink and brown and had three horns on his head.
The taxi slowly stopped in front of a building standing high, "Thank you," I said as I got out with my two digimon friends and handed the driver 20 dollars.
"Your welcome," he said as he drove off.
I looked up at the building before I reached into my pocket pulling out a small piece of paper, "We have to go to the 4th floor room 23," I said reading the paper.
I really didn't bring any luggage not knowing I was coming ahead of time. Really this was just out of the blue. I just found myself walking around America pretty drunk. When I bought a ticket to Japan and now I'm here. I only have the $1000 I withdrew from the ATM machine.
I walked into the building, with my two digimon sitting on my shoulders, and straight into the elevator. "I get to press the button," Terriamon said jumping off my shoulder and pressing the 4th floor button.
Lopemon jumped off my shoulder and stood in front of Terriamon, "This means I get to press the button on the way down," he said.
"What?!?" Terriamon replied.
I ran my hand through my soft blond hair the dropped it to my side.
I looked down at my clothes to see what I was wearing. I had on my very baggy black jeans and a white shirt on. I had a blue button shirt with no sleeves on which made me look how teenagers were dressing.
I looked back down at my two digimon to see they were about to start fight, "Calm down," I said before the doors opened.
I walked down the hall with my two digimon by my side. I glanced at the numbers on the door as I passed them, "19,20,21,22, ah 23," I said before I raised my hand and knocked hard on the door.
"I'm coming, I'm coming," a girl's light voice came from inside the room.
The door opened and I smiled to see one of my old friends, "Hey Kari," I said looking the women with a towel over her shoulder in a housecoat.
"Willis? It's you," she said giving me a hug.
Her arms slowly released me and we looked at each other for a few minutes. "Can I come in?" I asked.
"Oh, ya," she said letting the three of us in.
I walked in and sat on her couch, "So what have been going on in your life?"
She looked at me for a second and sat in a chair not far from the couch, "I accomplished my dream of being a kindergarten teacher. But, why are you here?"
"I had to… I had some business here in Japan."
"Davis?"
"What?" I said knowing what she meant but acting stupid.
"You came here to see Davis, right?"
"Uh… ya," I said dropping my head.
"Well, if you want I'll come with you to visit him."
"Would you?"
"Ya," she said standing up and walking into her room.
I closed my eyes and leaned my head back. "Willis," a voice came out from the door.
I raised my head and my eyes popped open. I looked at a tall man with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a pair of blue jeans with a black shirt with a blue vest over it. "Davis?" I asked already knowing the answer.
He walked over and pulled me to my feet, "I've missed you," he said before pulling me into a gentle kiss, which grew more passionate.
"Willis… Willis… Willis!"
My head came up looking at Terriamon, "You dozed off Willis."
"Huh, sorry."
"Ready to go?" I said from her doorway.
I looked over at her to see her wearing a pair of tight jeans and pink t-shirt.
I nodded my head and we headed to the door. As we walked out the door Gatomon came and jumped into Kari's arms, "I'm coming," she said looking up at her.
"Ok," she said as she carried Gatomon down the hall.
We got in the elevator but before Lopemon could press the button Gatomon did, "God damnit! When is it going to be my turn to press the button?" he cursed.
"Lopemon, watch you mouth! I've taught you better then that." I said before turning my attention away from him and onto Kari, "Kari, I know this may sound odd but has Davis mentioned me at all?"
She looked at me and nodded her head giving me a sign that he had.
I turned my head and stared at the elevator doors till they slowly started to open. Standing behind the opened doors was a tall blond haired man with blue eyes and familiar eyes. He was wearing a black suit and had a bouquet of flowers, "Oh, Kari," he said handing her the flowers and giving her a light kiss of the cheek.
"We're on our way out to visit Davis, you can come if you want," she said staring at the man.
He looked over at me and smiled, "Willis, it's been a long time," he said holding out his hand.
I shock his hand and looked at him, "Have we met?"
"I guess you don't remember me," he said letting out a smile smirk.
"You don't remember TK?" Kari asked from beside me.
"This is TK?" I said looking at him.
"The one and the only, so why are you here?"
"Umm…" I said kinda blushing, I'm here to tell I how I have always thought a bit him, I thought about saying, "I have some business here."
He looked at me strangely, "Sure…"
I pushed him aside and walked out of the elevator, "Com'on Kari," I said eagerly wanting to get to Davis' house as quick as possible.
I stopped waiting for Kari and TK to catch up. She was walking beside TK at a pretty slow pace. When they caught up we walked out of the apartment building and into the parking lot, "Are we taking my car or yours?" TK whispered to Kari.
"I guess we'll take yours," I said walking over to a blue car.
I didn't know what kind it was, probably a newer age brand. He all got in the car, Kari and TK in the front seats and me and the three digimon in the back seats, "TK," I said looking at the digimon.
"Ya?"
"Where's Patamon?"
"He's at home, I don't usually let him wonder around town in the day."
He started the car up and drove out of the parking lot. He turned on the freeway and the car toke off down the street.
I sat in the back seat looking out the window. I watched every store, every light pole, every mailbox, and every person go by. Some of them looked strange, like one girl had a black mohawk with red shorts and a leather coat, then there were two guys one with blue hair the other with blood red and the second had his nose and lip pierce, then there was… "Stop the car!" I yelled seeing the unforgettable face of Davis.
The car came to a sudden stop and TK swung his head backwards to ask why I said stop but by that time I was already gone and running to catch Davis.
I grabbed his shoulder and spun around, "Davis!" I said hugging him.
"Willis?" he asked me in a soft tone.
I felt his arms come up and wrap around me. He was so warm I didn't want him to let go. I wanted to stay in his arms forever.
"Daddy," a small voice came from beside I, "Who is this?"
My arms slowly released him and he lifted up the young boy beside him, "Well, this is your uncle Willis," he said looking at me.
"I… I have to go," I said tears glazed my eyes.
How can I have been so stupid, I thought as I turned and started to walk away, he's hot and has the best attitude ever. He may not be very smart but still who would let a guy like that get away? Well, other then me?
"Willis? Stop!" he yelled to me.
My footsteps sped up feeling the tears I was trying to keep in gently rolling down my face. A hand came down on my shoulder, "Willis, please stay?" he asked a bit quiet.
"I… I… I can't," I said running off not even trying to hold the tears in anymore.
