*~*~(Willis)~*~*

I sat in a park. Trees surrounded me, sitting on a little bench. Teenagers came and left but I stayed. I must have been sitting here for about three hours. The tears still burned my eyes but they were no longer falling.

"Willis? Are you ok?" Kari's voice came from behind me.

"You know you should really tell your friends when something is wrong," another voice came which I didn't know.

"Please, Kari, leave me alone."

"Why do you push back your friends?" the voice came again.

"I don't know you, why do you keep giving me advice?"

"Oh, sorry, my name is Mimi, now will you tell me what's wrong?" she said sitting down and placing a hand on my shoulder.

"What do you want to know? You wanna hear that I fell in love so many years ago came back but instead of telling them how I feel I find out they have a kid? You wanna hear how broken-hearted I am right now? You wanna hear how I want to crawl into a dark corner and die? Well do you," I said the tears slowly rolling down my face.

Kari sat down on the other side of me and gently wrapped her arms around me, "I'm sorry," she whispered quietly into my ear.

"Don't be," I said the tears leaking of my face onto her shirt, "I knew I just couldn't come back and except him to be alone. Someone like him doesn't stay alone. Please, just leave."

"But Willis…"

Before she could finish I cut her off by yelling, "Leave!"

"Ok," she said standing up and walking a bit away, "Lopemon and Terriamon are at my house right now, but you can come and get them anytime and if you need a place to stay don't hesitate to ask."

"Thank you Kari but, I think I'm going to go home tonight alone."

"What? Why?"

"I can't stand to see anyone that reminds me of him. I can't look at Terriamon or Lopemon without remembering that summer."

"At least say goodbye!" she screamed at me, "Davis broke your heart now you're going to break Terriamon's and Lopemon's?"

"I will say goodbye to everyone Kari."

She looked a bit strangely at me, "Does that include Davis?"

"Yes…" I whispered out under my breath.

"Ok, then I'll go now," Kari said turning around and walking away.

"Wait," Mimi said as she looked through her purse and pulled a little pink book out, "this has everyone's address. Just remember to say goodbye to me."

She handed me the book and walked off with Kari.

I opened the book and glanced at Davis' name, "I guess I could say goodbye to him first."

I slowly stood up and wiped the last of the tears from my eyes. I headed out the little opening in the trees and onto the street. I remember most of these streets from my last trip to Japan. I looked up at the street sign and I instantly knew where to go. I crossed the street and headed down another about 5 minutes down that road I was standing in front of a pretty big house.

"So, Davis lives here," I whispered to myself as I looked up at the house.

I slowly walked up to the house and knocked on the door. "Hello?" the young boy answered the door.

"Can I speak to your dad?"

"He's in his office," the boy said letting me in.

I toke off my shoes and looked at him, "It's upstairs, second door on the left," he said.

I slowly made my way up the stair and knocked on the door of the office. "Come in," Davis' voice came from behind the door.

"What do you want now Sammy?" he said still looking at his computer.

"Davis…" I said making him swing around.

"Willis… are you going to run away again?" he asked staring up at me.

"No… I came to say goodbye," I said looking down at him.

We looked at each other for a minute before I turned around. Before I could walk one of his hand grabbed my wrist, "Stay for dinner, please," he said now standing and looking eye to eye with me.

I wanted to grab him rip off all his clothes and show him how I felt but I couldn't. I wouldn't allow myself too.

"What about your wife? Won't she mind that I'm here?"

"Maybe, if I had a wife," he said as his hand tightened around my wrist, "please stay."

"Umm… sure."

I was excepting his hand to let go of my but instead it didn't. Our eyes were still staring into each other's and I was starting to get aroused because I was still thinking of ripping of his clothes and making love to him.

I shook my head and pulled my hand back. He looked at me for a second and shook his head, "Uh… sorry."

What? Was he thinking about the same thing? Maybe I should tell him how I feel? But, he doesn't like guys. If he did why would he have a son? I thought to myself.

*~*~(Davis)~*~*

How could this happen again? I thought I was over Willis, then he comes here and I'm head-over-heels about him, I thought to myself.

He pulled back his hand as he shook his head.

He looks so hot. I wish that I could take him in my arms and show him how much I want him… how much I need him. I shook my head clearing the thoughts, "Uh… sorry," I said with that same dumbness to my voice as I had when I was a kid.

We stared at each other for a few minutes before he shook his head again. What is he thinking about? Why does he keep shaking his head? Does he want me to grab his and show him how I feel? Maybe I should go over to him rip of our clothes and gently kiss over every single inch of body? I thought again before shaking my head.

I smirk a bit, we must look like idiots. Both shaking our head over and over again.

He looked at me with those bright blue eyes and smiled, "I need to say the rest of my goodbyes but I'll be back later, ok?"

No, no, no! You can't leave! Please, stay with me! I screamed out in my head, "Sure," was the only I could say.

He smiled and turned to leave, "Willis," I said before he was out the door.

"Ya?"

"Nothing," I said feeling stupid.

I watched him walk out of my office and start heading down the stairs. I ran to the railing and looked at him as he walked down. He looked up seeing me there and waved. I smiled and waved back. He continued down the stairs and I watched him until he walked out the door. I ran downstairs and into the living room. Sure enough Sammy was sitting there.

"Hey Sammy, what would you say about sleeping over and your aunty Yoli's?" I asked sort hoping he would say yes.

"Why? Is Joel and Debbie going to be there?"

"Probably."

"Yay!" he said jumping up, "I get to go to aunty Yoli's!"

I walked over and jumped on the couch. I picked my cell phone up off the table and pressed memory 7. It rang twice the Yoli picked up, "Hello?" she said into the phone.

"Yoli, have I told you how much I love you lately?"

"Not since you wanted me to baby-sit Sammy for a week when you were on `vacation'."

"Well, could you baby-sit him for one night?"

"It will cost you."

"Fine, $20 to baby-sit Sammy."

"Deal, I'll pick him up at 7."

"No! Before that. Like at 3."

"That's 15 minutes."

"So, come and pick him up now."

"Fine," Yoli said as she slammed her phone down.

I looked up at Sammy, "Go get ready. Yoli will be here to pick you up any minute now."

He ran upstairs to grab some things. I lied down and closed my eyes, "Soon, son I'll tell you."

I slowly started drifting off into a sleep with my cell phone on my stomach.
