“Takuya sure has been quiet. He's never this quiet unless he's asleep.” Junpei whispered to Kouji.
“You know he's been that way ever since Izumi disappeared.” Kouji replied.
'I wish Izumi would come back,' Takuya thought to himself. 'I wanted her to be my friend forever, or maybe more. I lo- maybe like a lot is better.' Takuya's thoughts were interrupted by Tomoki asking for his attention.
“Takuya-oniisan.”
“Hmm.” Takuya replied.
“I want you to meet my new friend, Kilia. She's one of the new digidestined.”
“ Nice to meet you. I'm Kanbara Takuya.” Takuya greeted.
“I'm Orimoto Kilia.” Takuya was shocked. 'Could she be related to Izumi?' He couldn't take it, he had to ask. “Are you related Orimoto Izumi in any way?”
She nodded sadly, “Yes. She was my sister. I can't believe she disappeared like that.” Kilia replied. There was silence the rest of the way to the digital world. After their train, Worm, pulled in, two other trains showed up with 3 other kids total on them. They didn't need to find the spirits this time because they were already programed into the the d-tector. The first one to step out was a tall boy with black hair, about Junpei's age. His name was Korio Nicki. The second boy's name was Sikoua Ai and the last was Kouyei Haruno.
“Nice to meet you all. My name is Kimura Kouichi, and this is my brother, Kouji.” Kouichi said. Kouji just waved and had a friendly smile on his face. “Oh, and the boy over there's name is Takuya.” Junpei added. Takuya was staring off into the clouds, thinking about Izumi. 'Izumi, where are you?' He wondered. Then he heard someone call his name, “Ta-ku-ya.”
“Huh, thats weird, I thought I just heard someone call my name. It sounded like Izumi.” 'Damn pull yourself together Takuya, Izumi has been missing for 2 years now.'
“digidestined,” Ophanimon started, “ Come to my castle to receive your mission. You also have something to show you.”
“Well, what are we waiting for? Lets go!” Nicki said in one of his most excited voices.
