“Are we there yet?” Ai whined.
“Its going to be a while. We're only, say 1 day away.” Kouichi replied, trying to make it sound as exciting as could be.
“gee, thanks.” Ai replied sarcastically.
“Cool! So, all of us can turn into a legendary warriors?” Haruno asked.
“Yup. When we go into battle, I'll show ya.” Junpei replied. Haruno nodded. Kilia stuck by the goggle headed leader Takuya (Yes, he still has goggles) because she knew how he felt towards Izumi. Izumi felt the same way towards him. 'Izumi, I miss you so much. Please come back.' Kilia and Takuya said to themselves.
“Takuya,” Kouji said, “ I know your thinking about Izumi. When we leave this world, we'll look for her.”
“Thanks Kouji. You are a great friend.” Kouji smiled.
“Anytime Takuya.”
LATER
Ai started complaining again.
“Are we there yet?” He whined.
“Just a little longer, but we should stop to rest at least. It is late.” Tomoki replied.
“Tomoki's right. We should rest.” Kouichi stated. Everyone went to sleep right away, except for Takuya. 'I can't take it anymore. Where the hell is she?' Tears started streaming down his face. “Izumi.” He said quietly. He wandered of into he forest. After he was sure everyone was out of hearing rang, he started to cry so uncontrollably, his shirt looked like he jumped into a lake. 'Izumi. I do love you, I can't hide it. If I could tell you I would. You mean so much to me.'
“Ta-Ku-Ya.” The mysterious voice had come back.
“Who's there?” Takuya said alertly. Ready to evolve at any second. He thought he saw something move in the bushes. He decided not to make any more noise, just in case. Takuya looked in the bushes and saw a bright light. When the light cleared, he saw a female figure. She looked at him and he thought it looked just like Izumi.
“Izumi?” Once he talked it disappeared. “WAIT!!!!!!!!” 'I could've sworn it was Izumi' Slowly but surely he made his way back to camp.
During the night, he had the same dream he had had during the fight with Cherubimon, with him and Izumi on a date. Except for the one part that made it a nightmare. Izumi suddenly disappeared into nothing. Takuya quickly woke up and realized that it was morning.
“Well, are you ready to go sleepy head?” Junpei asked.
“Ya,lets move.” Takuya replied.
“Hey Takuya?” Kilia was trying to get his attention.
“What is it Kilia?” He replied
“I heard you get up last night. Where did you go?” 'Uh oh, busted.'
“umm, just walking.”
“Takuya, you can't lie to me, what were you really doing?” 'She is one smart girl,' thought Takuya ' Just like her sister' “I'm telling you I just went walking.”
“Ok then”
“Look! Wow! Is this the place Junpei?” The 3 new boys said in unison.
“Yes, this is Ophanimon's castle.” He replied.
“Junpei sure has made lots of new friends.” Kouichi said
“I agree, and Takuya is staying by Kilia like it's his little sister.” Kouji replied As they entered Ophanimon's castle, they heard footsteps coming toward them.
“Lady Ophanimon needs you right away. Come, this way.” the digimon told them. Without any words, the digidestind followed the digimon.
