Breaking the Ice...Queen
Part 4

Ruki can feel her Digimon partner's eyes resting on her.
The Tamer is doing something that would make her mother proud.
"What should I wear?" the maturing girl whines.
There is a long pause.
"Errr... What?" Renamon finally manages to ask.
"I want to tell Juri I love her! And I have no clue what to wear!"
"Stockings and high-heels perhaps?" the fox Digimon suggests.
"And besides that?" Ruki sighs.
"Did I say you should wear anything beside it?" Renamon asks with a grin.
Ruki groans and tries to slap the Digimon's head.
"Come on! think of something, Renamon! Please!"
"Okay okay... I would wear... this." Renamon answers, pointing into her closet.
"Th-That's my normal outfit. Jeans and shirt." Ruki mutters.
"Juri loves you the way you are. No matter what you wear."
Ruki nods, thankful for Renamon's word of wisdom.
"Besides, people would start to worry if you suddenly dressed like a nice girl." Renamon adds and snickers.

After a quick lunch, Ruki walks to the park Juri and the others normally hang out in.
As she nears the park, however, she starts to slow down.
She leans against a nearby wall and tries to calm down a bit.
"I... I should've brought her a present." she whispers.
"Nah. You're not dating her. You've skipped that stage." Renamon's voice whispers to her.
"Bu-Bu-" Ruki stammers, suddenly feeling the urge to turn around.
"Calm down. You know she loves you. And you love her. That's all that counts."
The Tamer nods and starts walking again.
"Just be yourself. Your true, inner self." Renamon whispers as Ruki enters the park.

She should be just behind those bushes. Ruki remembers.
She has often seen the other Tamers and their Digimon around here.
Makes sense, this section of the park is rarely visited.
Other people enjoy the open fields. This small forest, however, is almost deserted.
Just as Ruki is about to enter the small hidden clearing, she is pulled into a bush.
Before she can protest, a strong hand covers her mouth.
"Shhhhhhh!" Renamon hisses, and Ruki sighs in relief.
"Ruki, do you actually have a plan?" the Digimon whispers.
Slowly, Ruki shakes her head.
"She is there. And Takato is there, too. Together with my sweet li'l- errr... with Guilmon."
Ruki smiles as Renamon removes her paw from Ruki's mouth.
"So what?" Ruki asks innocently.
"You should talk to Juri alone." Renamon sighs.
Damn. Of course! Takato would just make things worse.
"But how should-"
"Relax. I have a plan. Just wait here." Renamon whispers and disappears.

Ruki watches the clearing.
Guilmon is sitting near the edge of the clearing, apparently watching Takato and Juri.
The two friends are chatting merrily, enjoying the day.
Ruki clenches her fist, and she realizes that she is jealous.
I should be there! Not gogglehead! Oh Juri...
She smiles when she realizes how good it feels to give in to her emotions for once.
Still. I have to keep cool as long as Takato is there.
"Everything is set. Now it's up to you." Renamon whispers, startling the girl.
"Thank you, Renamon." Ruki whispers, standing up.

Ruki steps out of the bushes, playing her usual Digimon Queen role.
"Hello." she mutters, watching the two people in front of her.
Takato gives her the usual 'Oh it's the Terminator Tamer again' look.
But Juri... Juri seems to be unable to decide what mood to be in.
Ruki can see fear and anticipation in the girl's eyes.
"Oh, hi. What brings you here?" Takato lazily asks.
"Shut up, gogglehead. I have to talk to Juri. Alone." Ruki mutters.
Ruki knows she has gone too far when she sees that Juri's eyes are full of fear now.
Even before Takato can answer anything, the girl is on her legs and running away.
"No! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Juri shouts, leaving a startled Takato.
Cursing under her breath, Ruki starts to dash after her love.
"Guilmon! Come on!" she hears Takato shout.
Great, now Takato will probably follow me, and everything-
"TAKATO! My leg! My leg! It hurts! Oh God... Stop the pain PLEASE!" she suddenly hears Guilmon cry.
Gulping, she slows down. Guilmon sounded as if he'd die any minute now.
"Keep running, you fool!" she then hears Renamon's voice in her ear.
"Guilmon would fake his own death if it brought me and him together sooner."
Nodding, Ruki starts following the frantic girl in front of her.

Juri has chosen to flee into the most unfriendly part of the forest.
The city rarely cleans up this part, so everything has grown wildly.
"Juri!" Ruki shouts, fearing to lose the girl in more than one way.
But the frightened girl doesn't listen to her.
Ruki falls back slowly, until she finally loses sight of Juri.
Still she keeps running, following the sounds of Juri's steps.
A sudden shriek makes Ruki gasp. She can't hear any more footsteps.
"Juri?" Ruki shouts, worried for her love.
She carefully follows the path Juri has created.
After some seconds the Tamer can make out a low whimper and frowns.
When Ruki looks behind a bush, she almost cries and sinks to her knees.

"Go ahead. Nobody can hear us." Juri whispers, still holding her leg.
Ruki stares at the long cut at Juri's right ankle. The girl must have had a very bad landing.
"I won't blame you. I've gone too far." Juri says and sighs.
The Tamer crawls to Juri's side and lifts her hand.
Juri just closes her eyes and turns away from her.
Ruki can feel Juri flinch lightly when her hand touches the girl's face.
"Shhhhh... I don't want to hurt you, Juri." Ruki whispers, her voice softer than ever.
Juri carefully opens her eyes and looks at Ruki.
"You... won't?" the injured girl asks.
"Of course not. After all..." Ruki says, a smile forming on her face as she moves closer to Juri's face.
"...I love you, too." she finishes her sentence, her lips only inches away from Juri's ear.

Ruki smiles when she sees Juri's face going from fear to surprise to pure joy.
"You do? Really?" the grounded girl asks.
"Of course, I just never... admitted it to anybody. Including me, I guess."
Ruki then looks at Juri's bleeding ankle.
"God, I'm sorry for scaring you. I never wanted-" she whispers, feeling guilty.
She is silenced by Juri's finger on her lips. Both girls smile.
"It'll be all right, Ruki. Everything is going to just fine."
"Yeah. We're together now... Still, you need help."
Juri nods weakly.
"Dumb root. I tripped over one and cut myself even before I hit the ground."
"It happens. But don't worry, it'll be-" Ruki whispers.
She is interrupted by something touching her leg from behind her.
Ruki whirls around and blinks when she sees the object that she had felt.
With a smile she picks up the first aid kit, quietly thanking Renamon.

Carefully, Ruki removes Juri's shoe and the stained sock.
Fortunately, the wound itself looks quite clean, so Ruki decides to simply wrap a bandage around it.
Thanks to her tomboy past, she has gathered much experience in first aid.
The bandage looks good, and Ruki gently runs her hand over it, as if adding a last touch.
After some seconds, she realizes that her hand is still stroking the bandage.
And not only the bandage.
Blushing, Ruki pulls the hand away from the leg she had been caressing.
"Awwwwww... You're so cute when you're blushing." Juri purrs.
Ruki looks away, trying not to giggle.
She gasps when she feels a hand at her waist.
The hand moves up, resting on Ruki back. Then Ruki is pulled down towards Juri.
Ruki realizes what Juri wants and feels her heart beat even faster.
She has never considered herself a good kisser.

Juri obviously feels Ruki's hesitation and stops pulling her down.
"Does that mean I have to tie you up again just to be allowed to kiss you?" Juri teases her.
Ruki opens her mouth to answer, then realizes that she isn't really sure that the girl is joking.
"I have a nice collar at home, then I could drag you down by a leash..." Juri purrs.
Ruki coughs in surprise. She had almost forgotten that this nice girl owns stuff like this.
"Don't think you can tie me up every night. I'm not that kind of girl, you know?" Ruki whispers.
"Well, I think you felt different yesterday..." Juri answers.
Her right hand still holding Ruki's back, Juri moves her left hand over Ruki's thighs.
Ruki moans softly, not used to being touched by another person.
She feels her body relaxing. Responding.
When Juri's right hand leads Ruki down again, Ruki does not hesitate.
Comforted by the knowledge that this is the girl she loves, Ruki leans down to Juri's face.

Their lips meet for the first time ever, and Ruki is surprised that it feels better than she had imagined.
She closes her eyes, enjoying the feeling of Juri's soft lips on her own.
Then she feels something press against her lips and realizes that it is Juri's tongue.
Just as she opens her mouth, Juri's tongue penetrates her, seeking and battling her own tongue.
Juri's hands now keep her in place, one hand on her back, one holding the back of her neck.
As Juri starts breathing harder from the excitement, Ruki can feel her lover's breasts against her own.
Before she knows what she is doing, her right hand is on Juri's breast, making Juri moan.
Ruki becomes wet when she realizes that Juri's breast is about as firm as her own, but a bit larger.
She smiles when she realizes that Juri is wearing bra, something that Ruki never did.
The Tamer breaks the kiss and grins down at Juri.
"It's interesting that a nice little girl like you is in fact so naughty." she whispers.
"And it's interesting that a bad girl like you is in fact so gentle and soft." Juri answers.
Just as Ruki wants to kiss Juri again, she hears something that makes her heart stop.

"That does it, Guilmon!" Takato shouts.
Ruki and Juri freeze and look at each other in shock.
Neither of them feels ready to tell anybody else about this right now.
"But Takato! It hurts! Please stop!" Guilmon whines.
"There is nothing! Now come on, we have to stop Ruki before she does anything dumb!"
Ruki blushes as she looks at her right hand, which is still cupping Juri's breast.
"Hey, I smell them! They are that way!" Guilmon suddenly shouts.
"But the path is leading this way!" Takato replies, sounding annoyed.
Ruki quickly moves off Juri and tries to think of something.
If he finds any of us here, our first day is ruined! she thinks and clnches her fist.
Juri tries to stand up, too. But since she looks as if she is in great pain, Ruki gently pushes her down again.
I've got to get her away from here! But how? I can't possibly- she thinks.
Then she has an idea.

"Ren-" she starts to whisper.
"I know I know." Renamon whispers into her ear as she appear next to Ruki.
"Crawl this way, and keep your head down." Renamon then advises her and points to some bushes.
"Will you take Juri then?" Ruki asks.
"Of course. We'll meet you at home. It's closer than Juri's place."
Ruki smiles and strokes the fox's head.
"Thank you, Renamon. For everything." she whispers.
Then she watches as Renamon gently picks up Juri and jumps up onto a high branch.
Just as Ruki has crawled through the bush, she can hear Takato behind her.
"Strange... The path ends here, Guilmon.".
"I told you they have gone that way, Takato!" Guilmon mutters.
"Sorry, buddy. I really thought they'd be here, though."

After some minutes, Ruki comes out of the forest and stands up.
Renamon's advice had been good; she is near the end of the park close to her home.
Ruki decides not to hurry. Instead she just sighs and takes look around.
When she is sure that nobody is around, she allows herself a smile.
Then she suddenly jumps up and down like a little girl, cheering wildly.
"She loves me! She loves me! SHE LOVES ME!"
