...With a Bottle of Vodka

By the Empress of the Eclipse

KENSUKE!!!!!! Hints of Taito and Takari. And it's LEMON!

READ OR YOU WON'T GET THE STORY!!!!

We're going to pretend that after the soccer game in 'Ken's Secret', they had this school dance thing which Ken and his soccer team were invited to as guests, okay? (Don't moan, implausible it may be, but I've been trying to think of a good Kensuke after watching that episode and this is the one which stuck! But you'll probably be getting more anyway so do not despair. It's my first proper Kensuke so please be nice and generous. Okay?)

"You wouldn't dare!" Matt said.

Akemi grinned, his eyes sparkling wickedly.

(A/N Haven't a clue who Akemi is? Read 'This Time', 'On the Road', 'Mighty Morph'n Rock-Band Rangers', 'I Dare You', 'Sweet Dreams', 'This is Your Life!', 'Little Shop of Horrors', 'Yamato the Vampire Slayer 1' and 'Touch of Evil' to find out! (Some of them as yet only available on Fanfiction.net) Or of course, I could just tell you that he's a member of Matt's band. As are Gendo, Toshiki and Istu.)

"I would!" he said.

"It would be very wrong," Gendo said.

"I know," Akemi said.

"And I don't think you would!" Matt said.

Akemi grinned.

"Want to bet?"

"A twenty says you won't!"

"Fine then! Deal done!"

"Oh boy," Istu remarked.

The band walked into the school dance together, Akemi hiding the bottle of vodka under his coat.

Davis stood boredly by the food table, wondering what would happen if he dropped cake crumbs into the punch bowl. He had a feeling that he'd get killed if he was caught. Anyway, he didn't want to. The punch was about the only thing worth having at this party.

He sighed. What was the point of having a party to celebrate when all the party food was so awful? It was just stupid.

Sighing, he let his eyes drift over the crowd. He could see Kari talking with Sora and Yolei with TK and Iori hanging back slightly, partly in the group but mostly in a group of their own. He could see Tai sitting with a group of boys from soccer, talking to them. He spotted Matt standing with his band, arguing about something with them. As he watched, one of them walked away from the group and wandered over to the food, looking at it. Davis struggled for a moment, then identified him; Akemi Nakatsuru, the drummer.

"It stinks," Davis said helpfully "The food I mean."

Akemi looked at him.

"You," he said "Don't have to tell me that."

Davis shrugged.

"You're Davis right? The one who knocked little Pretty-Boy over?"

"Ken? Yeah," Davis said, basking slightly. To be acknowledged by one of the band was high praise indeed.

"Nice one. That boy annoys me. Thinks he's so perfect. Bet I'm better than him at drumming," Akemi said.

Davis shrugged. He didn't think that Ken would ever want to bother drumming but didn't want to say. He turned and glanced over the crowd again, trying to see Ken. He didn't see Akemi uncork a bottle of something and tip the whole thing into the punch. By the time that Davis looked round, Akemi had already hidden the now empty bottle.

"See you later," he said and went back to the band. Davis grinned to himself and helped himself to another large cup of punch.

* * * *

"Did you put it in?" Matt asked.

Akemi showed him the empty bottle.

"Every last drop!" he said.

"Oh boy," Gendo said.

"This could be funny to watch," Toshiki said.

"I want Ken Pretty-Boy to drink some punch now," Akemi said "Where is he? We could get Yolei to give it to him and since he's so perfect, he won't refuse and he'll get pissed off his head!"

"No," Matt said "Give me the bottle. I'll get rid of it."

He hid the empty vodka bottle in the shrubbery outside, then went back to join his friends.

After two more cups of punch, Davis was feeling slightly strange. The world felt a bit less real somehow. He felt oddly happy in an unexplainable way.

"Hey Davis."

He blinked. Ken was standing next to him. Davis hadn't seen him arrive.

"Ken! Hi!" Davis said "I was looking for you."

"You were?"

Davis gave himself a mental smack on the head. What had he said that for? He hadn't meant to tell Ken that.

"Yeah. I though we could, you know, talk," he said.

'We could, you know, talk?' What was wrong with him? Why couldn't he string two sentences together? He shook his head slightly, trying to shake off the fuzz.

Ken didn't seem to notice. He smiled at Davis and sipped some of the punch. He frowned slightly.

"Don't you like it?" Davis asked.

"It's okay I suppose...but it tastes odd," Ken said.

Davis shrugged.

"I didn't notice."

A slow song came on. Davis grinned. Slow songs were always funny. It was a tradition in their school that if you didn't get a partner, you grabbed somebody of the same sex and pretended to do a dance with them, while actually trying to trip them up. If you fell over, you were that person's slave for the rest of the night. He could see everyone scrambling for partners. He also spotted Yolei heading straight for them.

"Yolei's about to bag you for a dance," he said.

Ken's eyes flickered over to Yolei.

"Oh no," he said "I don't want to dance with her. Will you dance with me?"

"Me!" Davis squeaked "Um, well I...."

"Please?" Ken said "We can pretend we're doing that thing....whatever it is you do in your school but please don't make me dance with her!"

"Um....sure," Davis said.

'Why am I blushing? I have no reason to blush! I'm just doing Ken a favour, that's all. Look, lots of guys are dancing with each other already! See, there's Matt and Tai dancing over there....'

Nervously he allowed Ken to take his hand and lead him onto the dance floor. He saw the poisonous look Yolei gave him and knew that he was going to die later. He didn't really care either. He stood there, swaying to the music, holding Ken in his arms. It actually felt sort of nice with Ken leaning against him. Glancing round, he saw that lots of boys were dancing with each other, all trying to discreetly trip each other up. The girls were watching them disdainfully (girls didn't seem to think the game was so funny though Davis wasn't sure why). He spotted Matt and Tai dancing. They were attempting to trip each other up but it looked a little half-hearted on both sides. They were staring deep into each others eyes. Davis couldn't help wondering if there was more than friendship there. He spotted TK dancing with Kari and felt a pang of jealousy go though him.

"You're a good dancer," Ken murmured suddenly.

Davis blinked.

"Huh? I am? My sister says that I'm a clod-hopping oaf," he said.

"You dance with your sister?" Ken said.

"She said that I needed to learn to dance because I was older and would need to impress girls," Davis said "Only I kept stepping on her feet."

"Was that because you couldn't dance or because you objected to the shape of her feet?"

Davis giggled.

"Probably a bit of both."

Was it his imagination or had Ken snuggled closer to him? It had to be his imagination.

"Do you like to dance?"

"Well, I've never really though about it," Davis said.

He spotted Yolei dancing with Iori. She flashed him a sweet smile which actually meant 'Davis, you will die'.

"Yolei's gonna kill me," he said.

"Is she?"

"She wants to marry you," Davis said helpfully.

Ken gave a soft snort. Davis grinned.

"I know," he said "Not much special about Yolei huh?"

"All the girls want to marry me," Ken said.

"You could marry more than one," Davis said "You could be the biggest bigamist ever!"

He frowned and went over the last sentences.

"How much of that punch did you drink?" Ken asked.

"About three or four glasses," Davis said.

Ken nodded.

"Is it alcoholic?"

"No way," Davis said "Alcoholic punch? Here? As if."

"Oh," Ken nodded. He looked a little doubtful to Davis.

The slow dance ended. Davis saw Matt and Tai go over to the table. Tai appeared to be about to have some punch but Matt stopped him, saying something in a low voice. Tai looked very amused and they walked away.

"Are you going to let go of me anytime soon?"

Davis looked at Ken and blushed crimson, realising that he was still holding Ken quite firmly in his arms.

"Oh! Sorry!"

He let go of Ken quickly and went back to the punch bowl. Ken followed him.

"Don't drink anymore," he said "You'll be sick."

"I once drank a whole bowl of this for a dare and I wasn't sick then," Davis said.

'Well, not then anyway. Although eating six packets of Beef Flavoured crisps afterwards might have been a mistake...'

Davis shook off the memory. It was a very embarrassing one.

"Still, I really wouldn't drink any more," Ken said.

Davis shrugged.

"Whatever."

Ken thoughtfully took a handful of crisps and began to nibble on them. Davis watched him as he did.

'I can see why Yolei likes this guy. He's sort of cute....for a guy. He looks kinda girly....but he has very nice eyes. And he's sweet and he has a nice voice and....'

Davis blinked.

'DAMMIT DAVIS, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? Ken Ichijouji is a GUY, he's a GUY damn it! Why the hell are you thinking things like that?'

'But he is kinda nice. Just because he's a guy....well, there's nothing wrong with looking right? And he is pretty cute.'

'No. No, no, no, no. GUY!'

"What's wrong?"

"Huh!" Davis yelped. Ken was looking at him with a calm curiosity. He realised that he'd got caught up with the two arguing voices in his head and had forgotten to mind what he was doing.

"You were staring at me," Ken said.

"Sorry," Davis mumbled. He couldn't think of a good excuse at all "I was just...I was thinking, that's all."

"Indeed," Ken said.

'Oh this is embarrassing' Davis thought miserably 'What is wrong with me tonight? Just because Ken's cute doesn't mean that I have to turn into a stupid girl when I'm talking to him! He must think I'm completely crazy!'

'But God, he's so cute...'

He realised that Ken was now staring at him, his eyes curious. Davis glanced round to avoid meeting Ken's eyes. He saw Iori talking firmly to Yolei who was crumbling a cake angrily. He saw TK and Kari whispering together. As he watched, he saw TK take another gulp of punch and then whisper something in Kari's ear making her laugh. They were practically in each others laps Davis noted, something which didn't thrill him. He scowled angrily.

"Is everything okay?"

He looked at Ken who was looking at him with mild concern.

"I'm a little dizzy," Davis said.

It was true he suddenly realised. His head was spinning a bit painfully and it was difficult to concentrate. The floor was rocking in a most unfriendly manner. He clutched at Ken's arm, not sure if he could stay on his feet.

"Would you like to go outside? Get some air?"

"Yeah," Davis said "Maybe that's a good idea...."

Ken gently took his hand and led him out though the door. Davis inhaled the night air and relaxed a bit. The cold air was already helping to clear his head. He felt better already.

"Feeling any better?" Ken asked.

"Yeah," Davis said "Listen, thanks for coming out with me..."

"Oh, it's a pleasure," Ken said.

Davis grinned. He'd expected Ken to be a stuck-up show off when they'd played against each other but he'd been wrong. Ken was actually a nice guy, sort of sweet...

Davis gave up trying to ignore the voices that were telling him that Ken was cute. Damn it, Ken was cute. And it wasn't that Davis wanted him or anything like that, it was just he could appreciate cuteness when he saw it.

"I'm going to be sick," he said with suddenly realisation. Dropping to his knees, he threw up violently into the shrubbery. Ken knelt next to him, sympathetically rubbing his shoulders.

"Are you okay now?"

Davis nodded. Being sick seemed to have purged him completely and he felt fine now. Ken handed him a bottle of water which he'd acquired from somewhere. Davis washed his mouth out and gulped some of it. Handing it back, he gave Ken a small grin.

"I'm fine now," he said, getting to his feet and wiping his mouth "Thanks."

Ken shrugged. Then he suddenly caught hold of Davis and shoved him violently against the wall. Davis blinked with shock.

"What are you...?"

He was cut off by Ken violently kissing him. Davis froze in shock. His brain was screaming at him to push Ken off but his body seemed to have taken control of itself and was pressing eagerly back against Ken. Ken seemed to feel Davis's acceptance and pressed closer himself, still kissing Davis hungrily. After a moment, he broke off, his eyes staring deep into Davis's own.

"That...that was..." Davis managed to croak before Ken was kissing him again, if possible, even harder than before. Davis moaned at the back of his throat and kissed him back. The voice in his mind had subsided completely and all could think was that he wanted this, he really, really wanted this. He'd been kissed before but this was different, this was wonderful. Ken seemed to know that he wanted it, his hands were already running all over Davis's body, exploring it. Davis hadn't ever felt anything like it before, he wanted more than that, wanted Ken's hands on his skin. Ken pressed closer still, rubbing his leg against Davis's, bumping hips with him. Davis realised how hard he was and knew that Ken could feel it too. He kissed Ken with more force, enjoying the soft lips which felt so hard against his...

Ken drew back. His soft purple-blue eyes were shining and he looked beautiful. Davis had never seen anyone look so beautiful before, not even Kari. Ken lightly kissed Davis's cheek, nuzzling the side of his neck.

"Shall we take this somewhere more private?" he breathed in Davis's ear.

Davis nodded eagerly.

"Where?"

"My house do for you?" Ken asked "My parents are out."

Davis nodded.

"Yes."

"Let's go then."

They took a taxi there. Davis's head was swimming though most of the journey. He wanted to touch Ken so badly but he knew that that was a sure way to get himself thrown out of the taxi. Ken paid the driver when they got there and then took Davis into his house and straight into his bedroom. The only light came from the computer screen. Ken switched on the bedside lamp and switched the computer off. Then before Davis could take in his surroundings, Ken had seized him in another fiery kiss. Davis surrendered completely into his arms, letting Ken pull him over to the bed and push him back on it. He didn't care anymore, just wanted Ken. He was already reaching for Ken's top and Ken let him remove it before quickly tugging off Davis's clothes. Soon, they were both naked, still kissing each other passionately. Davis was exploring every inch of Ken's body with his hands.

"You've....got...such....smooth...skin," he panted, kissing Ken's shoulder "So....beautiful."

He'd never felt anything like this before, never wanted to touch someone so badly, or have them touch him. Ken didn't reply. He kissed Davis again, then reached down in between Davis's legs, reaching for the erection that was waiting for his touch. Davis yelped hoarsely as Ken began to stroke him, squirming and writhing under Ken's fingers.

"Ken!"

"Yes?"

Davis groaned.

"That's....oh that's good, that's good..."

"Thanks."

Ken sounded almost mocking before he kissed Davis again, his lips hard and violent. He suddenly squeezed and Davis bucked his hips violently with a sort of moaning curse, making Ken laugh.

"Enjoying yourself?"

"Yes! Oh please don't stop, please!"

Ken smiled, looking down at the gasping boy beneath him. He stoked faster, waiting until he could see that Davis was just about to climax before pulling back. Davis gave a wail of disappointment, making Ken laugh.

"Ken! Don't stop!"

Ken kissed him very gently.

"I want something out of this too you know."

Davis pulled Ken down to him, kissing him desperately.

"What do you want?"

"Just experiment. If I like, you'll know."

Davis continued to kiss him, running his hands down Ken's back.

"You're beautiful...and wonderful....and perfect....and I want you!"

He sucked at Ken's neck, making Ken groan. He knew that Davis was going to leave a hickey but he didn't care.

"Please Ken....please. I want you, I've never wanted anything so much. I'll do anything but just do this first, please!"

"Anything?" Ken whispered.

"Absolutely."

Ken laughed again, wondering what Davis would think if he knew the truth. That Ken was the Digimon Emperor and that he, Davis, had just sworn to do anything for him.

Oh well. There'd be another time to rub that in.

Leaning down, he kissed Davis, a long passionate kiss. Then he reached between Davis's legs again and finished what he'd begun. Davis screamed hoarsely when he came before collapsing limply back against the pillows. Ken laughed and kissed him again.

"You up for something else?"

Davis nodded.

"Roll over then."

Davis obeyed. Ken got off the bed and walked over to his chest of drawers. He grabbed a pot of Vaseline and came back to the bed. He carefully rubbed it all over Davis, not wanting to hurt him.

Well. Not yet anyway.

"This might hurt," he breathed in Davis's ear "But don't worry. I'll take care of you. Don't be scared."

"I'm not scared. Not of anything!" Davis panted back.

Ken entered him. Davis swore and Ken laughed before beginning to thrust into him. Davis seemed to be enjoying it, he was babbling meaningless stuff. Ken laughed giddily, half trying to decipher whatever Davis was saying. He heard his own name and 'God' a lot. He also heard the word 'love' which made him chuckle again. Then he came violently inside Davis, moaning with pleasure. He rolled off and let Davis snuggle up to him.

"Ken...Ken that was good, that was so good..."

"Shhhh," Ken whispered "Sleep now."

"'Kay."

Davis's eyelids fluttered a few times, then drifted closed. Ken stared down at him for a few moments, before dozing off himself, feeling very happy and very smug.

* * * *

Davis opened his eyes, conscious of a feeling of confusion. For about five seconds, he had no idea where he was, what he was doing there or why he felt so odd. Then everything came back in a rush and he jerked upright, looking around. Ken was calmly dressing nearby. He looked at Davis, his eyes cool and neutral.

"Ken," Davis muttered.

"Hello," Ken said.

"I....hi," Davis said at last.

He slept with Ken Ichijouji. He'd slept with Ken Ichijouji dammit. What had he been thinking exactly? Yolei was going to kill him!

"Your clothes are there," Ken said pointing "You'd better go. My parents might come home."

Davis blinked, surprised at the abrupt dismissal. He wasn't sure what he'd been expecting but this wasn't really it. They'd had sex, surely there had to be something else?

"Ken....last night....I...."

"Spare me," Ken said "It was a good time. Let's not mess it up with the 'I was blind drunk' part."

"I wasn't going to say that!" Davis said, his voice hurt "I wasn't drunk! I wanted to say..."

"Well don't," Ken said "Don't say anything. Like I said, it was a good time. Let's not read anything more into that okay?"

Davis stared at him, his mouth slightly open, his eyes filled with confused betrayal. Ken tried not to laugh or even smile. This was almost too easy, it was like kicking a puppy dog.

"I thought you liked me," Davis said in a small voice.

"You're nice enough," Ken said, his voice indifferent.

He saw Davis shrink back, looking startled. It was getting harder not to laugh.

"You can see yourself out," he said "I can get you a taxi if you really want but I don't suppose you've got the money?"

Davis numbly shook his head. Ken smiled, turned and walked out of the bedroom, leaving Davis staring after him in shock.
