Chapter Two: They meet

"Cinderjuri, I have a few things that need to get done before you go." Her stepmother said handing her stepdaughter a rage.
"Yes, stepmother." She sighed.

Cinderjuri moaned sadly as she dusted away the workroom. At this rate, Calumon thought, she'll never get to go to the ball and meet princess Ruki. Then an idea came to mind. I know just how to fix everything. With a chuckle and joy in his eyes Calumon as he ran out of the room.

Two hours latter, Cinderjuri was finally done. The house was empty saved but her and Calumon who was out getting things ready for Cinderjuri. Her stepmother and stepsisters kept her busy until the carriage came and got them.
She opened the back door walked to the bench and sat there when she heard wheels approaching. Cinderjuri turned her head to see a shiny carriage coming up. There sitting on the driver set was fox like creature a lion and Calumon sitting in the middle.
"Calumon, is this all for me?" Cinderjuri asked with great joy in her eyes.
"Of course it is. We couldn't let you go empty handed would we?" Said the Lion. "Now hurry and get ready."
Cinderjuri turned and started to run back in when she stopped turned with a heavenly look on her face.
"You look hansom in that suit Mr. Lion."
"Huh," he said as a drop of sweat came down the side of his face knowing exactly what she was trying to do. "Please, call me Liomon. Now hurry, you don't have much time."
"Right!"
She turned ran back into the house ran up stairs and pilled off her clothes and put on the dress. She looked at herself in the mirror and tried to smile. Well, she thought, this is it. Cinderjuri grabbed her purse and was out the door.

Ruki's mother (Rumiko) watched wirily as her daughter turned everyone almost in line down. Her grandmother was the most worried. She knew how lonely her granddaughter has been and wanted some to love and understand her.
The princess finally couldn't take in anymore. After the last bow she ran to the main doors when she ran into a girl about her height brown shoulder length hair and shiny brown eyes.
"Ow.Ow.Ow."
"Hey, watch where you're going you moron!" Ruki snapped not even realizing who she was talking to.
"I'm sorry," came a small voice.
That caught Ruki's attention for sure. She looked to see who was speaking. They both looked at each other and the princess could feel her cheeks turn bright shade of red as she ran past the unknown girl.
Cinderjuri stood there feeling her heart was all in a flutter. Everyone in the entire room never felt people sent off so much emotion before. Ruki's grandmother never saw some glow with so much happiness before.
"You … little girl in the green-yellow dress come here."
The young girl backed away turned and ran forgetting her little purse.

Ruki sat on a brick wall looking down when she heard shouting. She turned to see that it was the girl she bumped into on the way out.

Cinderjuri started to run out of breath as she ran.
"Getting into trouble?"
The young girl stopped to see Princess Ruki sitting on the brick wall. Cinderjuri watched as the princess jumped off and landed with grace. She was about to reach into her bag when she felt that it was there. Cinderjuri looked down at her side.
"Sparky, where'd you go?"
Ruki stopped dead when she saw Cinderjuri jump and down reaching in her pickets but her puppet wasn't there.
"Come one Sparky, this isn't funny!"
"Uhh … are you okay?"
"No, I'm not okay! Someone stole Sparky!"
"Well …. Uh … what did he look like?" Ruki asked.
"Well … it's a puppet in a shape of a dog."
Ruki just stood there for one moment with disbelief of her face and burst out laughing.
"Hey! It's not funny! Sparky has feelings ya know! He doesn't like people laughing at him!"
"I'm sorry," the princess apologized, "what …."
DONG! DONG! DONG!
Calumon ran up saying that it was time to go.
"No! I can't leave without Sparky!" Cinderjuri winds.
"Go? Where will you go?"
"But Calumon! I just can't leave Sparky!"
"I'm sorry but you have to go!" Said Renamon walking up taking the girl by the arm and started to drag her to the carriage.
"I want my Sparky!" Cinderjuri winded as Renamon pushed her in.
Ruki blinked a couple of times before she knew what was going on. Black horses where after the carriage in now time as her mother walked up beside her daughter.
The princess turned her head to see her mother holding what looked like a puppet that was a shape of a dog.
"That's he girl's puppet!" She said snatching out of her mothers had.
"Ow! Careful Ruki! I don't want any scratch marks on my skin if you don't mind!"
The princess just ignored her mother and was off to find the one who belongs to this thing.
