Part 6: The Wedding Day

(The next day. The digi-destined wedding is being held outside in Casey's garden. There are several rows of chairs full of relatives of the digi-destined, one row is small and only has four chairs, and Adam, Jeremiah, and their digimon sit here. Then several chairs are moved over, all the other digi-destined that have come to the wedding sit there)
Usher: That's for Mr. Meris's family only
Davis: Hey, buddy, we are his family, right?
Others: Yeah!
Catherine: "So leave us alone"
Usher: Pardon me? I don't speak French
Davis: She said to leave us alone
Usher: (Walks off)
(At the altar stands Reverend Sky, a good friend of Casey's. Also Casey, Tai, Ken, and TK wait for the ceremony to start. Music starts and Mimi walks down the aisle, followed by Sora, then Yolie and finally Kari they are each accompanied by their father.)
Reverend Sky: Are we ready to start the ceremony?
Casey: (Takes off his sunglasses to reveal his eye-patched eye) You may begin
Rev. Sky: Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to witness the merger in holy matrimony of all these present. If there is anyone here that has a reason why anyone here should not be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace. (It's quiet) All right then let's continue
(The ceremony takes place shortly afterward Reverend Skye does a service for the digimon who are getting married, Biyomon and Agumon, Hawkmon and Wormmon, and Patamon and Gatomon are married. Inside the mansion in the Grand Ball Room is the reception. The digi-destined couples are dancing)
Sora: Well, we're married
Tai: It feels strange, doesn't it?
Sora: Yeah, I know.
Tai: Mrs. Taichi Kameya
(Sora shudders slightly and puts her head on Tai's chest)
TK: Do you feel any different?
Kari: Not really, as far as I was concerned we were married when you asked me
TK: (Chuckles) That's amazing
Kari: What? That I feel as though we've been married for over a year?
TK: No, that I feel the same way
(They kiss as they dance)
Ken: You're a beautiful bride
Yolie: You're just saying that to make me feel good
Ken: No, my wife you're the most beautiful one here
Yolie: (Blushes) That's why I love you Ken
Ken: Why's that?
Yolie: Cause you love me no matter what
Ken: Of course I do, Yolie, and I always will
Mimi: I'm so happy to be yours forever
Casey: No matter what happens you'll always be my true love
Mimi: What do you mean by that?
Casey: Nothing, I just want you to know that I'll always love you
Mimi: Even when we're old and gray?
Casey: Even when that happens, yes
