Chapter 7: Children of Destiny

(A stretch of time equal to about three years passes. By this time, Adam and Jeremiah have gone back home along with their digimon. It is close to the birth dates of the children of the digi-destined. Considering most were conceived on the same day, and the final one week later it is logical to assume their birthdays would be very close together) (I'll start off introducing them from the oldest down. Awai Takaishi, the daughter of TK and Kari; Koui Ichijouji, the son of Ken and Yolie; Eiki Kamiya, the son of Tai and Sora; and Kimberly Meris, the daughter of Casey and Mimi. At the birthday party)
TK: Casey, I've been meaning to ask you why you decided to give Kimberly an American name
Casey: I thought you'd have no problems with it
TK: I don't I was just wondering where I came from
Casey: It was my mother's name
TK: That's a sweet idea
Mimi: That's what I said, and why I agreed to name her that (Go off to talk with the other girls)
Casey: So how's Kari and Awai?
TK: Pretty good, just one question
Casey: Go ahead
TK: When would you say it's a good idea to tell the kids about their digimon?
Casey: I'll tell you when
TK: Okay
Ken: Hey guys
Casey: How's it going Ken?
Ken: Not too bad, at least I'm not like you two and out numbered by females
TK: What's that suppose to mean?
Casey: Yeah, really Ken?
Ken: I'm saying I'm glad that I'm glad that I have a son unlike you two having daughters
Tai: I hear you there
TK: Oh, come on I know we all wanted to have sons because for us they're easier to raise, or at least that'd be my guess
Casey: Mine too
Tai: Cool, they agreed with us
(Davis and Catherine walk into the yard)
Davis: Hey, is anyone allowed to come to this party, or is it for parents only?
Casey: No, just digi-destined
TK: Davis, long time no see, where have you been?
Davis: I've been in France living with Catherine. Jun told me about the birthday party and I couldn't pass it up
Ken: So when you have to go back?
Davis: That's my good news, we're married and we're moving here
Casey: Congratulations!
TK: You'll have to go see you're nephew some time
Davis: Yeah, I heard about that
TK: Who would've thought that our siblings would be married one day?
Davis: Not me
Casey: What did they name him?
TK: Shinwa Ishida
Tai: Hey, speaking of children, you left before our kids were born did you want to see them?
Davis: Yeah, sure
(They all walk to the children)
Casey: The girl in the pink dress is mine, can't you tell she's a lot like her mother?
Davis: What? She picked that out?
Casey: Yep
TK: The other girl is my daughter
(Awai looks at them for a second)
Davis: She looks a lot like her mother
TK: She sure does
Ken: The boy with the purplish hair is mine
Davis: (looks over at two boys rolling a ball back and forth) Looks like they're getting along well
Tai: The other one's my son
Davis: I kinda figured that
Catherine: (Standing in the back) "So what are their names?"
Casey: Kimberly
TK: Awai
Ken: Koui
Tai: Eiki
(The party continues)
(Meanwhile, in a dark place)
Women's voice: Soon we will have our revenge! (Lightning clashes in the background as the voice laughs very evilly)
