Cursed Love: Version Two

Part one: Incounter of Flamon

Takuya sat up panting really hard, that dream again .... he was walking through tall grass when something came bounding, at first all he saw was a bushy red tail and the next thing he saw was yellow/green cat like eyes, bushy red long hair; the creatures face had white marking that looked like an upside down one, pointed elf like ears, golden ear-rings on either side, black nose, red straps around his shoulders, another white mark from his right nipple down beyond his baggy red pants and red bracelets around his ankles.

"Who are you?"

The creature just came closer to him causing Takuya to fall backwards, pain shot through his lower back, he slowly opened his eyes and rubbed his butt, looking down he noticed that he was wearing red baggy pants and his hearing was a little sharper. Looking at his hands he noticed that he was wearing half-gloves and his skin was a different color. Turning around he noticed that he was at a river; getting on fours he walked up and looked at his reflection ...

"AAAA!"

Sitting up. He looked around to notice that he in his own room, he rolled over to see his three year old brother sleeping. His hand over his chest, his other hand over his head, his face peaceful. Takuya smiled and reached out running his hand through his little brothers hair. He then bent down and kissed his forehead, got up and walked out and tiptoed to the door, putting his shoes on he walked out.

He didn't know where he was going but he was letting his feet guide him to where ever they went ... his feet led him to the lake, the morning sun making the water shimmer. The water did look fun to go swimming. Taking off his cloths; he walked in until the water was his sides and started to swim around ...

"Takuya, can I join you?"

The burnette turned to see his little brother standing there looking really innocent causing Takuya to smile and nodded his head. Shinyas face lit as he striped and ran into the water. The burnette walked to his brother and started to splash him ... Shinya laughed shielding him self with his tiny arms as his brother splashed gently. Takuya suddenly stopped hearing something that didn't sound right.

"What is it brother ..."

Before could think it would be, the burnette turned to see pile of logs coming toward them. Shinya started to scream as a wave of water came at them like a wave. Swallowing them both, both brothers where separated ... Shinya washed to shore and Takuya being carried down the river ....

*Six years later*

Kouji was walking down the quite streets of the village, he was going to go ketch the threat that has been steeling some of their foods. Some of the villagers tried to describe this creature as best as they could ... it looked humanoid but it had a flaming tail, long bushy red hair and it acted like an animals. His brother was on the other side of the village and they both agreed that if they spotted anything suspicious to whistle.

The wind brushed slightly against Kouichi's shirt as he walked … but knew that he was being followed … he slowly turned to see nothing. He turned and right in front of him was the creature … they both looked in each others eyes.

"Look," The creature said, "I don't want to hurt you ---"

"That's right!"

Right then three arrows landed three feet away from the creature; Kouichi turned to see his brother running up and loading his bow with three more arrows.

"Kouichi, are you all right?"

The rest of the villager's men came running loaded with either swords, arrows …

"Did you here?" A little boy asked.

"No. Tell me." Another little boy said.

"They finally caught the thief ."

"Really? Let's go see …"

Walking to what looked like a cage, two men standing there … the creature curled like a dog, the creature turned his head and looked one of the little boys … the three looked at each other until one of the little boys gasped for one moment running closer to the cage putting his tiny hands on the bars …

"Takuya? Is that you?"

The creature wrinkled his nose with confusion in his yellow/green eyes. Why was this human child calling him a human name. His name was Flamon. The little boy's eyes changed to fear and sadness his cheeks flushed … the villagers men looked at the creature suspiciously ….

"Can you speak?" He asked dangerously.

"Maybe." The creature said getting up and sitting Indian style his face turned and his nose in the air.

The man looked at him for a moment, the creatures voice did sound like his son's who vanished six years ago …. But how can that be possible? Shinya took hold of his father's shirt and pulled on it …

"Daddy …. make him remember! I want Takuya back …"

Tears was coming down Shinya's face as Mr. Kanbara picked his son up, the other little boy looking on with alarm for his friend as guilt washed over the creatures heart. He didn't mean to make the little human creature cry but why would he cry over him? He did hear that some humans can be friends with sprits … he got on all fours and stepped closer.

"I didn't mean to make your human child cry …"

"Hold your tong! When Lady Kenchi returns.We'll figure what to do with you.Make sure that it doesn't try to escape."

"Right!" Mr. Minamoto agreed.

The three walked off with Shinya yelling …To Be continued ...
