Chapter Two: The Rescue Plan

Sorcermon came running down the hallway .... Lady Ophanimon and Seraphimon were not going to like that one of their children was missing. Using his staff the door opened, he came running up and bowed to one knee as they both looked down at him respectfully.

"What is the word?" Seraphimon asked.

"My lord. Flamon is missing ..."

A sigh escaped from Seraphimon as he shook his head in disapproval. Why couldn't the spirits just stay in the forest where they call could be safe. Ophanimon put her hand on his arm and smiled, trying to decrees the surface tension. Looking down at Sorcermon with a plan in mind ....

"Sorcermon, go get Beetlemon and Zephyrmon. Tell them to come to the Forest Terminal."

"At once, my lady." Sorcermon said getting to his feet and bowing then turned and walked out ever so calmly

Strabimon, a humanoid like wolf with an human like face, black nose, white face, slanted yellow/green eyes, long furry caller, black straps that went around either side of his arms, white pants .... walking down the hallway to over hear voice's coming from the main room, getting to his feet he walked to the door and picked his head in to see Beetlemon and Zephyrmon standing right in front of Lady Ophanimon and Seraphimon.

"We are ready to move out when are ready Lady Ophanimon ..."

Oh no! Flamon has been captured. I told that idiot not to do anything stupid. It looks like I'll have to get him out of this one again. Strabimon got on all fours and started to walk but he didn't get fare thought.

"Strabimon?"

He froze, then turned and walked in feeling all eyes on him as Zephyrmon's bat like ears twitched .... the wolf like Digimon crouched, his ears back. Lady Ophanimon looked closely at him, she could feel that he was really troubled.

"Don't worry," Zephyrmon said as she bent down and started to scratch behind his head, "we'll get the trouble maker back."

"Just be careful. Cherubimon's goons are out there and I don't think I can live with myself anything happened to any of you."

"Yes. But you make it sound like Strabimon is coming with us." Beetlemon said.

"Strabimon?"

He rose to all fours, his cheeks turning pink as he looked shyly down at the floor feeling quite embarrassed. Yes. He did like Flamon. Liked him from the start. He looked up at Lady Ophanimon who was smiling down at him.

"You may go. Just be careful."

"We will, my lady." Zephyrmon said bowing.

"Strabimon. Why didn't you just tell Lady Ophanimon that humans have Flamon?" Zephyrmon sighed.

The blue wolf like Digimon stopped dead as Zephyrmon and Beetlemon stopped and turned Strabimon's eyes wide. He turned lowered his head, his ears back with shame on his face.

"I'm the real reason why he's in this mess. We both a fight and I guess he went off to prove him self. Before that, we both thought it would different to eat human food," Strabimon explained as Zephyrmon's ears twitched again looking at him like (bad - doggy - bad), "I know it was wrong and I didn't want Seraphimon to be upset with Flamon."

"You know Seraphimon better than that." Beetlemon said, "now let's get going before they do something bad to him."

Flamon woke to the sound of footsteps. Still curled up like a dog, he turned his head to see the same kid that clamed that he was his brother. He was carrying a basket of bread and a blanket draped over his shoulder.

"Your not thinking about staying out here, are you?"

"Will you hold this?" Shinya asked handing the blanket and basket as he pushed it through.

With a frown and his lips wrinkling to the side of his face as Shinya pushed his through and landed on his side hard causing Flamon to wince as he walked up.

"Are you okay?" The red haired Digimon asked as Shinya got up and sat down. "Uh. You don't have to do this you know."

"I don't want you to be lonely." The little boy said after he draped the blanket.

They both looked at each other as Flamon gave a smile ...

"I like you. What's your name kid?"

Shinya looked into the creature's eyes with great pain in his eyes causing slight pain in creature's heart too. Now was he feeling this? He should feel guilty not pain.

"Where's my brother? I want my brother? I want my brother back!"

By now Shinya was clinging onto the creature as it sat there frozen feeling something as the little boy clung onto him. The little boy's sobbing was drained out as everything changed to pure black, Flamon looked ahead to see what looked like a loving family and two boys. The eldest had brown hair that stuck out below his ears and the other boy looked like the boy that was clinging on to him. It was strange though. Flamon felt as though he knew this family ... then the boy with brown hair started to move away. Wait! You shouldn't leave! Flamon's eyes widen ... he was human once .... he part of a family and had a little brother and his name at one time was Takuya. Looking down at his brother, he pulled him close rubbing his back.

"Uh .... Takuya?"

"Yes?"

"HA! Your back! I really missed you." Shinya squealed tighten his grip.

"Aren't you appalled of me?"

"Shinya! Son! Where are you?"

"Uh-oh! I gotta go. But don't worry. I'll make sure that Lady Kenchi, mom and dad get you out."

"What ever you say. Now get going before dad gets mad."

"Okay," Shinya said giving his brother one last hug, "love you."

"Love you too. Now get going."
