Chapter Five: Strabimon's Betrayal

*Flash Back*

"These humans did something to you and I'm not going to stand by and watch them hurt you anymore. Starting with that human you call Kouji!"

With one swift motion, Takuya was in front of the twins crouching like a dog ready to pounce, his face stern but not hateful but confusion and concern. He was not going to let Strabimon hurt the twins but he did want to know why his friend was acting this way. He did not show this type of behavior before when it came to humans.

"What has gotten into you, Strabimon? They didn't do anything but helped me remember who I really am."

"Wake up, Flamon! You know that humans are really good about lying."

Takuya's eyes flashed. No one calls his little brother a liar. Strabimon jealously started to grow even more. Why wasFlamon acting all protective toward all the humans ... maybe Cherubimon was right. Humans like having Digimon's as pets .... and he was not going to stand for it!

"Don't you ever call my brother a liar. If it wasn't for him I'd be dead by know."

"You have no brother!"

The first thing Takuya did ... that he was going to regret later ... he rose to his feet; walked up and slapped Strabimon across the face ... his eyes clouded over with slighthate. This caused the wolf like Digimon face to darken with and that caught Takuya to come back to reality realizing that he just did ....

*End of Flash Back*

I can't believe I just did that ... I didn't mean to though ... now he hates me. Tears started to come down Takuya's face as he looked down at his hands seeing the image of Strabimon's face ... so full of pain.

"Takuya ... what are you doing up here?"

He turned to see that the twins had climbed on the roof and turned his attention back to the sky that had hints of all sortsof different colors indicating that the son was setting.

"You shouldn't really be out here ..."

"I'm okay ..."

"No. Your not. You've been up here for hours when we really should be finding out if there's going to be any more of those spirits that might attack our village."

"But Strabimon ..."

"We don't have time ..."

"Kouji be nice," Kouichi snapped, "we'll help you find him ..."

"Thanks guys. I just hope that we're not too late."

He hit me. Why? Does he really hate me that much? That human Kouji ... how dare you poison my Flamon! I'll make you regret this ... maybe Chirubemon was right ... this caused the wolf like Digimon to rise to his feet and looking to the south. That human Kouji is going to suffer for what he's done to my Flamon ... by know Strabimon was on fours running ....

Takuya stopped sniffing the air. He turned and sniffed the air again ... the sent was heading for ... how can you do this, Takuyathought; his eyes full of pain, but his thoughts where soon interupted when he turned to the right to see Sorcermon walking
up with Zephyrmon and Beetlemon close behind. This was not his day.

"Seraphimon, wants you to return to Forest Terminal." Sorcermon said.

Something caught Sorcermon's eye, twirling his staff; he turned and pointed it at Kouji who was loaded with his bow and arrow looking sternly at each other. Takuya sighed knowing that the sorcer type Digimon was only trying to protect ...

"Its okay, Sorcermon. They are my friends."

The white Sorcer looked back at his companion then back at the two humans then put his staff to his side nodding his head ...

"I do apologize for my rudeness," he started,"I'm Sorcermon ---"

"Introductions will have to come later. We've got trouble ..."

"I know. That's why you need to come back with us."To Be Continued ....
