Takuya never felt so happy or complete in his life. Last night Kouji stayed with him the whole night holding him close until Mrs. Right and the others found them. The feeling of being held the way Kouji did made him feel safe being in his arm. He never felt the light that was inside turned on; a warm light that was still inside of him as he sat at the table letting out a long sigh. He wanted Kouji to hold him again inhale his sent. He let out a sigh putting his hand on his chin when he felt a hand on his shoulder.

<What's, wrong>?

It was Izumi; she sat down with a concern look on her face.

<Nothing>.

<Don't give me that. I know it has to do with Kouji>.

The deaf boy's eyes widen as his face turned red again making Izumi chuckle.

<How did you know>?

<I heard what happened>, she then paused when she saw that Takuya was starting to look a little upset, <now don't get upset. I think that's cute when Mrs. Right found you too in the bathroom>.

The deaf boy just sighed looking way not wanting to disgust the matter any further ... Izumi put her hand on his shoulder to get his attention then moved it away from his shoulder.

<There's no reason to feel bad. You finally made a friend and I think that's great>.

Kouji at that moment walked in and the first thing he saw was Takuya talking Izumi. The blonde girl smiled as she giggled making Kouji feel sort of jealous. Jealous? Why was he feeling jealous all of a sudden? Boys where not suppose to feel this way toward other boys they where suppose to feel that way toward girls.

"Huh?"

Izumi turned her head and beamed ...

"Well, I heard that you where a hero last night."

"Will everyone quite saying that! I don't do anything but made sure that Takuya was all right!"

"Well, I don't know," Izumi smirked, "I was told the best way to make friends is to be alone with that person ...."

"Are you saying that I need to be alone with Takuya? I don't know how to even communicate with him!"

"Takuya and I can teach you."

"Yea. Like I'm ever going to know what this means," Kouji said waving his fist up and down ...

Why is Kouji saying "yes" for, Takuya thought with confusion as he watched the other boy made another move with his hands ... He's saying "no" ... okay, now I'm really confused!

"Ahau ..." Takuya said pointing at Kouji making moves in the air then to the side of his head.

Izumi wrinkled her nose moving her hands here and there in the air pointing at Kouji; the dark haired boy glared at her assuming that she was calling him mean names in sign language. Takuya looked back at Kouji got to his feet walked up took the boys hand and tried to position them in an alligator mouth shape bring the side of his hand to the front of his head trying to close the gap between his fingers as his hand went back and forth twice.

A drop of sweat came down the side of Kouji's face feeling really hot. What was Takuya trying to do?

"Awww. Isn't that cute. Takuya is trying to teach you how say "boy" in sign language." Izumi said, the smirk still on her face.

Boy? I think I can handle this, Kouji thought hearing Takuya make baby noises pointing to him making the same gesture again. The dark haired boy cleared his throat pensioned his own hand like an alligator mouth doing the same motion Takuya showed him to do. The brown haired boy nodded his head a flicker of hope in his eyes.

That wasn't so hard, Takuya thought, it would be cool if we can talk without someone besides Mrs. Right and Izumi to do all the talking for me. He stepped out of the way running his thumb on the side of his chin pointing at Izumi ...

"What is he saying about you?"

"He's saying that I'm a girl in sign language ..."

"Ohhh ..." Kouji breathed mimicking the same movement.

"See? It's that hard ..."

"Yea ... well ..." Kouji said trying to get the right words out looking down to his right his cheeks turning slightly pink, "you make it look so easy ... and ... I all ways thought the movements was beautiful ..."

"You just hate being nice don't ya?" Izumi teased with a 'you-are-so-cute-' expression.

Yes. Izumi liked Kouji but nothing more than a friend; besides, she had a strong feeling that Takuya liked Kouji ....

~Flashback~

Takuya just got done with talking to Izumi when something caught his eyes. He turned to see a boy with long hair (pulled back by his bandana ) long sleeve thin blue jacket, yellow shirt and blue pants; head-phones draped over his shoulders. At first, Takuya couldn't make of it; the only thing he could see was the new boy sending off a glow causing Takuya to stay paralyzed in place just wanting to star at the new kid. He was the most beautiful thing the deaf boy has ever seen ...

<Izumi>, Takuya tugged on the girls sleeve, <is that an angel>?

~End of Flashback~

Ever since that time, Izumi had a feeling that Takuya was attractive to Kouji. It wasn't until now that the dark haired boy started to see the other boy for who he was.

"All right you three," Mrs. Right said walking in, "why don't you guy go outside and play ball. The weather man said that it was going to rain the rest of the week."

Izumi passed the ball to Takuya; Takuya passed the ball to Kouji. This was not the funniest game in the world but he shouldn't complain about ... if Takuya was having fun than he should have fun too. Once Kouji had the ball, he threw a little too high.

"Ahuau ..." Takuya said pointing to himself.

He turned and went after the ball; it rolled onto the middle of the road. Takuya started to run not even realizing that he was suppose to look both ways before crossing.

"TAKUYA!!!" Izumi cried seeing a car racing down the street.

She took off running leaving Kouji frozen. Once she was close enough she pushed Takuya out of the way. He rolled to the side of the road, he turned his head as his eyes widen in horror .... right before his very eyes the car hit Izumi like she was nothing like a rag doll as it drove on leaving her unconscious on the pavement.
