A Short Visit

"But, if we're not in the Digimon season two dimension, where are we?" Nick asked as we got up.

"Uh, ever heard of Dragonball Z?" I asked. Heather blinked as she stared at the two chibis we had landed on.

"Uh, sorry, did we interrupt something important?" she asked. Trunks scowled, mirroring Vegeta so perfectly it was scary.

"Yes, in fact you did!" he answered, irritated. He then looked down to see Apumon attached to his leg.

"Hi!" she exclaimed, hugging him tightly. All of us anime-fell.

"Uh, so, you're from a different dimension?" Goten asked. I laughed sheepishly.

"Uh, not in so many words," I answered. "We were chasing after two very evil things, Nightshademon and Myotismon, and they kinda opened up the wrong dimension so I'm sure they're as surprised as we are to be here. Actually, that's more words than your explanation, so I'll just go with you for now." I looked over to Goku. "So, just what were you doing before we came here, anyway?"

"Dad was teaching us how to fuse!" Goten answered. I blinked.

"Oh, so this is a little while before Goku goes back to Other World!" I answered, then covered my mouth.

"How do YOU know that?" Bulma asked. I started laughing.

"Just a lucky guess, I mean, the halo kinda hints to the fact that he's not exactly alive anymore, Don'cha think?" I answered in the most convincing voice I could. Bulma blinked.

"Yeah, I guess it does," she answered. My D-Power started glowing and I looked down at it. That's when the others noticed theirs were glowing, too.

"What's that?" Goten asked. I took the D-Power off my belt and held it up so I could display the holographic digi-dex.

"Uh, Heather, I Nightshademon has found us," I exclaimed. The Z-senshi looked at us in confusion. "The thing that opened up the portal that led us here."

"Is she evil?" Goten asked, and I nodded.

"She's about as evil as they come," I answered, reaching into my card pack for an evolution card. I watched as the others did the same, then looked down to see the Blue Card.

"Uh, is that Nightshademon?" Krillin asked, pointing to someone raising into view of the people on the lookout. Nightshademon smirked.

"Well, you actually followed me, Digimon Tamers," she said, slightly surprised, but still in a very annoying voice. "I must say, I'm impressed. I didn't think you had it in you." I looked over to Goten and Trunks to see they were doing the Fusion Dance.

"Uh oh!" I exclaimed, remembering how it usually ended up. An egotistical, vertically challenged boy who had a really weird hair color (A/N: Actually, his hair color isn't weird, it's just the way they mix Goten's black hair and Trunks' purple hair that makes it look weird). I sighed and held back from using my D-Power while I watched the two chibis fuse.

"Fuuuuuuuuuuusion, HA!" they yelled. A brilliant light emitted, and Gotenks soon appeared. He immediately went for Nightshademon, who was quite dumbfounded by the whole situation.

"What's this?" she asked, just barely avoiding a punch from Gotenks. "Where did those two boys go?" I smiled.

"That would be them," I answered for everyone. "They fused together into an even more powerful being." Nightshademon simply tossed him away after I said this.

"Well, if he's just a little boy, then I don't need to worry," she answered. Gotenks went back and I sighed.

"Three, two, one," I started. On cue, Gotenks came flying across the lookout and right into Piccolo's arms. I took the Blue Card out once again, and so did all of the Tamers, excluding Heather who took out a digi-volution card.

"Digi-modify! Matrix Digi-volution Activate!"

"Veemon Matrix Digivolve to… Paildramon (yes, I'm aware that he needs to digi-volve together with a Wormmon to digivolve into Paildramon, but there aren't any Tamers with a Wormmon currently)!"

"Apumon Matrix Digivolve to… Heavenmon!"

"Guilmon Matrix Digivolve to… Wargrowlmon!"

"Renamon Matrix Digivolve to… Taomon!"

"Terriermon Matrix Digivolve to… Rapidmon!"

"Fillymon Digivolve to… Gallopmon!" Fillymon emerged as a digimon resembling a winged unicorn with a lavender mane and tail. Gotenks awoke and flew up with the rest of the Digimon.

"Everyone, attack at the same time!" I commanded. Everyone nodded in agreement.

"Desperado Blaster!"

"Celestial Light!" Wargrowlmon swiped Nightshademon with his claw (gomen, I can't remember his attack right now).

"Talisman of Light!"

"Rapid Fire!" As Nightshademon was tossed through the air, Heather quickly took out a card.

"Digi-modify!" she yelled, swiping the card. "Gate of Destiny activate!" Gallopmon's horn started glowing, and she drew a circle with it, which grew bigger and turned into a gate, which opened. Gallopmon looked down to Gotenks.

"Mind pushing her through?" the unicorn-type digimon asked, and Gotenks nodded. He flew up into the air. He did all kinds of dramatic poses, then simply nudged her through. The gate closed and the light in the lookout went back to normal.

"AHHH!" I screamed as Gotenks landed on me with a crash and split back into Goten and Trunks. Heather scooped up Goten happily and hugged him tightly as if he had single handedly defeated Venommyotismon or some other nasty digimon bent on world domination. "Uh, Heather, we still hafta deal with Myotismon, and we don't know where he is." Of coarse she wasn't paying attention to me. Goten, who of course didn't mind Heather's hug, was willingly participating in the Happy Dance with Heather, Apumon, Nick. I put my hand to my forehead.

"ALRIGHT GUYS!" I yelled, causing them to fall over. I smiled as they stood up. "Okay, we need to search for Myotismon. Apumon, don't give me that look, he's probably still somewhere in Satan City." Heather blinked and pointed behind me.

"I think he found us," she answered. I turned around to see a portal about a mile away. Rika folded her arms.

"Is this like some kind of inter-dimensional game of tag to him?" she asked.

"But how are we supposed to get there?" I asked.

I rode behind Heather on Gallopmon, Nick sat on Exveemon's shoulder, and Rika sat on Renamon's shoulder as the digimon blinked in and out below us on the ground. Apumon, who was being, well, her, sat on Goku's head, Goku having not expected that when he volunteered to help us, but didn't seem fazed. Wargrowlmon flew a little below us with Takato, Henry, and Terriermon on his back. Goten and Trunks flew happily beside us in Super Saiyan form. I turned to them.

"Just why did you two turn Super Saiyan, anyway?" I asked. Goten grinned.

"We're going to beat that Myotismon thing for you!" he answered. "Besides, if we don't beat him, you need body guards to keep him away from you as you go through the portal!" We soon approached the portal just as Myotismon went through. Goku kneeled down to let Apumon off, but she refused. I sighed and grabbed Apumon from Goku's head.

"It was nice to meet you!" I said to Goku and Trunks. "Wait, where's Goten?" Heather's eyes were opened wide as she pointed towards the portal.

"Looks like Goten'll be going with you," Goku commented like it was no big deal. I sighed. Goku, and Goten for that matter, were both so clueless. I guess that's the price to pay for being so kawaii.

"Well, we'll try to send him back to you in one piece," Rika said as she and Renamon plunged through the portal.

"See ya!" Nick exclaimed. "I'll try to come back someday!" With that, he and Exveemon followed Rika in. Without comment, Wargrowlmon followed, Henry, Terriermon, and Takato waved.

"See ya!" I exclaimed, putting Apumon under my arm. Heather flashed Goku a bright grin.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure Goten doesn't get into any more trouble than he's worth," she said. Goku returned the smile.

"Well, he's worth a lot," he answered.

"I know," the girl replied, then urged Gallopmon into the portal.

"Bye, Goku!" Apumon said happily. "When I come back, we can finish our eating contest!" With that, we went into the portal and it slowly closed up behind us.

"So, where are we going, anyway?" Goten asked. Heather shrugged.

"We don't know, but it'll hopefully be the Season Two dimension," Heather answered, her voice echoing slightly. "We can get the help of the Digidestined so we'll be able to get rid of Myotismon, and we'll be able to get you home with the ever helpful technology geek Izzy Izumi and his sidekick Ken." Goten grinned widely at this answer and continued to follow us along the portal.

"I see the opening!" Nick exclaimed.

"Okay, we're in Tokyo, but, which Tokyo?" Heather asked as the Tamers stood up, and Heather helped Goten up. Rika held up a newspaper clipping she had found on the ground.

"I know which one," she answered. The picture was of a band. The Teenage Wolves.

"I think we found someone with a stomach as big as Davis'," Matt said as Goten finished his sixth extremely large bowl of Raman Noodles.

"Yeah, his dad eats even more. His friend Trunks has more self-control, though," Joana answered. "It's a Saiyan thing."

"Saiyan?" Davis asked.

"So, can you get us home?" Heather asked.

"Yeah, I could probably get you all back to your own dimension," Izzy answered.

"More like dimensions," Joana stated. "Goten comes from the first dimension that we traveled."
