Davis woke up that morning sore as all hell, “Yo, Veemon what happened, did I get hit by a bus or something.” Davis had started to sit up but laid back down, wincing in pain and grabbing his side. “Ow, my face,” he went to touch his face but the pain of contact was too much.

Veemon sulked around the corner, “Please don't make me fight anymore of our friends.” Veemon began to sulk again afraid that Davis would command him to help him attack their once friends.

“Wait, what repeat that last part,” Davis said in shock to the response Veemon had given him, “Did you say attack or friends?”

“Davis please don't,” said Veemon afraid that Davis was being cruel. “I don't want to play these games anymore,” was all Veemon could say before he began crying.

“Wow buddy calm down, I have no idea what your talking about, the last thing I remember was Kari saying that she had slept with T.K., my god we're never going to be together are we.”

“Davis you don't remember anything after that?” Veemon had stopped crying.

Davis snapped out of the realization that Kari never liked him, “No, what happened?”

Veemon began to tell Davis the events that unfolded from the moment Kari made her announcement to the point where they watched the rest of the Digidestineds get on to Mimi's yacht. “Do you not remember any of that?”

“No but I got to get there and explain this to them maybe there's a chance I can right this.” Davis and Veemon left his room and hopped on his bike taking it straight down to the docks, renting a row boat and began paddling his ass of to Mimi's yacht. When he got there Wormmon was standing on the deck. After several minutes of pleading with Wormmon he convinced him to put the ladder down. When Davis got on to the deck he was face to face with Gatomon, the other 11 Digimon behind her.

“Gatomon, wait I can explain eve…”

“Davis I don't want to hear it, either get down stairs now or get off the boat,” Gatomon cut him off before he could even try to explain himself.

Davis burst through the doors of the lower hall, “Wait I can explain,” the others turned and looked at him, shock was shown on all their faces except surprisingly for T.K. “Actually I can't explain a thing, but I know that I was not in control of myself, Veemon told me what happened, and well it wasn't me, last thing I remember was what Kari said and then it's all blank, and V said there was a fight and I beat up Patamon, and all this other crap and I don't know what else, just that it was all a big fuck up and I don't know what happened.” Davis began to breathe again.

“Davis calm down we know what happened,” T.K. said walking up to Davis and putting a hand on his shoulder, Davis retreated from T.K.'s touch his body was still sore from their fight. “SatanicDevimon used his powers to control you we realize that now, and we are actually on our way now to the Digiworld to confront him. You coming with us?”

Davis was stunned at how fast they had accepted him back. “O.K. everyone we depart for the Digiworld in half an hour so go get ready. The Digidestineds all left to get ready for their adventure.

Davis stood there while everyone else went to their rooms to get ready; he stopped T.K. and Kari and pulled them to the side. “T.K., Kari I just wanted to say something to you guys, not in front of the group, I realize now that you guys are meant for each other and no matter how hard I try you two will always be in love, and I realize this now and have begun to move on. That's all.”

“Thank you Davis,” Kari kissed him on the cheek and walked into her and T.K.'s room.

“Um T.K. There's just one last thing I want to say,” Davis had stopped T.K. as he followed Kari into the room. “I'm sorry for being in the way between you and Kari for so long, I now realize that you guys are meant for each other. Oh, and thanks for sticking up for Kari when I wasn't myself, you're a good guy, and a good friend.” T.K. went to pat Davis on the shoulder but Davis quickly dodged it.

“Oh ya, sorry about that.”

“No prob, I would have done the exact same thing.” Davis said as he walked away.

T.K. shut the door as he entered the room; Kari turned to T.K. “Hold me.” She ran to T.K., they wrapped their arms around each other, her skin smooth as silk his strong body her support, they stayed like that for awhile until T.K. felt a growing wet spot on his chest, he lifted Kari's face up to look into her eyes.

“Why are you crying, angel?”

“It's just that when we are fused with our Digimon, what will happen if we are defeated, killed.” Kari began crying again.

T.K. kissed her on the forehead, “Don't worry, I won't let anyone harm my angel.”

“T.K., you have no idea how comforting that is.” They stayed embracing each other for several more minutes until Tai knocked on the door, and entered.

“Hey, you guys ready?” Kari and T.K. nodded their heads.

All the Digidestineds gathered on the deck where Izzy using his new digivice, and his laptop had opened a portal to the Digiworld. They all traveled through the portal. When they got to the other side they were all in different clothing. T.K. was wearing dark blue jeans, a green/blue long sleeve shirt, with a blue strip from shoulder to shoulder and down the middle, over top, stretched tightly over his large biceps, which was rolled up to just over his elbows, and had the top few buttons undone revealing a yellow shirt underneath; he had bright green and yellow skater shoes on and a belt. Kari was now wearing a pink polo, tight across her breasts, a short yellow skirt, socks that went up to her knees with a pink strip across the top, pink and white convers, with stars in white circles on her ankles, and long pink gloves with the fingers cut off, and a square on the back of the hand. Tai wore a blue polo with a star on each shoulder in yellow; he had a blue and black pair of goggles on his head, brown kaki pants on, and a black band on his right wrist; he had blue skater shoes with yellow laces. Izzy was wearing an orange dress shirt, and brown dress pants; he had purple and black shoes on. Matt was wearing dark blue jeans, bright blue and yellow skater shoes on, and a darker blue dress shirt that had the top few buttons undone. Yolei had on a red tank top with two purple diamonds down the center, which ended right above her belly button, some blue skinny jeans, and lavender shoes. Sora was wearing a yellow tank top over a slightly longer white one with thicker straps. She had tight blue jeans on and red skater shoes on. Mimi was wearing a pink skirt with a slit going all the way up on the one side, she had a pink tube top on that went down and over her hips slightly, and a small pink jacket that ended just below her boobs and it was slightly zipped up and was long sleeved. Joe was wearing a white dress shirt with a blue sweater vest over top, the borders of the sweater vest were white, he had black dress pants on and black shoes with a little blue on them; he also wore a digital watch on his left wrist. Michael was wearing blue jeans, a yellow t-shirt, with a light green long sleeved one underneath; he had on red and black sneakers. Cody was wearing a tan long sleeve shirt, much like his one from Adventure 02; it had brown strips around the collar bottom and end of sleeves: he was wearing dark brown baggy pants and shoes. Ken was wearing black jeans, a grey sweater, with a white dress shirt underneath, the collar sticking out; he had on dark blue skater shoes with a purple swirl on them. Davis, who was last to come through the portal, was wearing his black leather jacket with the red flame line decals, a white shirt underneath that was barely visible because his jacket was zipped up, he had on dark blue jeans and a belt with a big circular belt buckle; he had hot red and cool blue skater shoes on.

When they all got through the portal, lightning struck the ground in front of them, Kari grabbed T.K.'s hand, T.K. held it tight. As the dust cleared Azulongmon was visible before them. “Digidestineds I am glad you have come. Both the Digiworld and your world are in grave danger and only you 14 can save them.”

“What type of danger we talking about?” Tai asked.

“There were five beings that guard the Digiworld, until one day one of us turned evil. A fight between us beings would rip apart the Digiworld, so we had to find a new way to fight the darkness; we sealed him away in another dimension, the dimension you know as the Dark Ocean, over the years he found a way to leak through his prison and into our worlds. The four of us then chose our new Digidestineds from our respective regions. I came up with the idea of sealing my power in 14 crests that would unlock a power in each of my Digidestineds, and I bestowed 10 of them onto you, and now it seems I must give you the rest.” All of the Digidestineds digivices began to glow as Yolei, Cody, Davis, and Michael received their crests. “Once your crest is reactivated you will be able to fusion together with your Digimon.”

“Step forward T.K., hold out your digivice.” T.K. did as instructed and stepped forward holding his yellow digivice out, his crest glowing. “You are the rightful owner of the crest of Hope. You reactivated your crest and released the other ones that had already been claimed, when you showed your never ending hope that you and Kari would escape SatanicDevimon, you will be able to fusion with your Digimon as long as both are strong enough.”

“Step forward Kari, hold out your digivice.” Kari did as instructed and stepped forward holding her pink digivice out, her crest glowing. “You are the rightful owner of the crest of Light. You reactivated your crest and released the other ones that had already been claimed along with T.K., when you realized that you were the light of T.K.'s life and he was the light that guided you, you will be able to fusion with your Digimon as long as both are strong enough.”

“Step forward Ken, hold out your digivice.” Ken did as instructed and stepped forward holding his black digivice out, his crest glowing. “You are the rightful owner of the crest of Kindness. You reactivated your crest when you showed kindness toward Davis when no one else would, you will be able to fusion with your Digimon as long as both are strong enough.”

“Step forward Davis, hold out your digivice.” Davis did as instructed and stepped forward holding his orange digivice out, his crest glowing. “You are the rightful owner of the crest of Bravery. You reactivated your crest when you were brave enough to face the other Digidestineds even after knowing what you did, you will be able to fusion with your Digimon as long as both are strong enough.”

“Step forward Tai, hold out your digivice.” Tai did as instructed and stepped forward holding his orange digivice out, his crest in it. “You are the rightful owner of the crest of Courage. I will use what is left of my power to activate your crest; you will only be able to fusion once with your Digimon until you reactivate the power of your crest on your own.”

“Step forward Matt, hold out your digivice.” Matt did as instructed and stepped forward holding his blue digivice out, his crest in it. “You are the rightful owner of the crest of Friendship. I will use what is left of my power to activate your crest; you will only be able to fusion once with your Digimon until you reactivate the power of your crest on your own.”

“Step forward Sora, hold out your digivice.” Sora did as instructed and stepped forward holding her red digivice out, her crest in it. “You are the rightful owner of the crest of Love. I will use what is left of my power to activate your crest; you will only be able to fusion once with your Digimon until you reactivate the power of your crest on your own.”

“Step forward Joe, hold out your digivice.” Joe did as instructed and stepped forward holding his grey digivice out, his crest in it. “You are the rightful owner of the crest of Reliability. I will use what is left of my power to activate your crest; you will only be able to fusion once with your Digimon until you reactivate the power of your crest on your own.”

“Step forward Izzy, hold out your digivice.” Izzy did as instructed and stepped forward holding his purple digivice out, his crest in it. “You are the rightful owner of the crest of Knowledge. I will use what is left of my power to activate your crest; you will only be able to fusion once with your Digimon until you reactivate the power of your crest on your own.”

“Step forward Mimi, hold out your digivice.” Mimi did as instructed and stepped forward holding her green digivice out, her crest in it. “You are the rightful owner of the crest of Sincerity. I will use what is left of my power to activate your crest; you will only be able to fusion once with your Digimon until you reactivate the power of your crest on your own.”

“Step forward Cody, hold out your digivice.” Cody did as instructed and stepped forward holding his white digivice out, his crest in it. “You are the rightful owner of the crest of Wisdom. I will use what is left of my power to activate your crest; you will only be able to fusion once with your Digimon until you activate the power of your crest on your own.”

“Step forward Yolei, hold out your digivice.” Yolei did as instructed and stepped forward holding her burgundy digivice out, her crest in it. “You are the rightful owner of the crest of Passion. I will use what is left of my power to activate your crest; you will only be able to fusion once with your Digimon until you activate the power of your crest on your own.”

“Step forward Michael, hold out your digivice.” Michael did as instructed and stepped forward holding his aqua digivice out, his crest in it. “You are the rightful owner of the crest of Truth. I will use what is left of my power to activate your crest; you will only be able to fusion once with your Digimon until you activate the power of your crest on your own.”

“Now I warn you, until you activate your crests your self, as T.K., Kari, Ken, and Davis did, you will only be able to fusion once. After you activate your crest though it will be the same as any other type of digivolving, you will be able to do it as long as you and your Digimon are strong enough. Now I wish you good luck in your future journey.” Azulongmon began to rise up into the sky.

“Wait,” T.K. shouted.

Azulongmon paused, “What is it that you wish of me bearer of Hope?”

“I just have two questions. First you said that their was 14 of us, but there is only 13 of us here, who's the last one? Also who are we up against?”

“I am sorry bearer of Hope, the 14th digidestined is the bearer of Destiny, known to you as Willis, he will be meeting up with you soon enough, and to answer your second question, the evil that you are up against are the Digidoomed. They were called upon by the Darkness and bestowed with their own crests which mimic your own. They were taught by the Darkness how to permanently fusion with their Digimon, you T.K. and Kari have already ran into the Digidoomed of Despair who is partnered with the same Devimon that you and Angemon once defeated T.K.”

“Wait how can we defeat them if they are fusioned with their Digimon, without killing them?” Kari asked fearing the answer, squeezing tighter on T.K.'s hand.

“If you destroy them they will separate from their Digimon, but their Digimon will be destroyed permanently. I am sorry bearer of Light but there is no other way.” With his finale words Azulongmon vanished into the sky.

Kari curled up into T.K. “I don't want to kill Digimon T.K., but if there is no other choice I guess I have to, don't I?”

“Kari you don't have to do anything you don't want to.” T.K. said comforting her, holding her tight against him, Davis looked slightly upset.

“No T.K. I have to be strong like you and I will be,” she kissed him on the lips and led him by the hand to the rest of the group.

“I have strong feelings against killing Digimon.” Yolei said commanding attention.

“Yolei we all have strong feelings against it but if there is no other options we have to.” Cody said even tough he too had strong feeling against it.

“So we all agree we have to do this right,” Tai said yet again taking his natural place as leader of the group. They all nodded their heads knowing what they had to do. “Well lets head out we have to find them before they reek any more havoc.”

At this moment Yolei, Cody, and Tai's digivices began to glow. They could all hear Azulongmon's voice all around them, “Yolei by showing great passion about your values you have activated your crest. Cody by showing your ability to know that what is right must take prejudice over your feelings you have activated your crest. Tai by showing the courage to lead your friends into battle now matter how the odds are stacked against you, you have been able to reactivate your crest.”

“Wow, that was easy,” Yolei commented.

Ken put his one arm around his girlfriend, “Hun, as if we all didn't know you could get passionate.”

The group began to walk toward the growing darkness from the east, T.K. and Kari holding hands and whispering to each other, Ken and Yolei his arm around her were also whispering to each other. The rest of the group were all conversing in a variety of topics, until a voice was heard from behind, “Well at least you know what direction to go in.” The familiar voice belonged to Willis an American digidestined with two Digimon Lopmon and Terriermon.

“Well about time you join us Willis,” said T.K. jokingly. Willis was wearing blue jeans, a long sleeve white shirt with a short sleeve burgundy button up shirt over top; he left his shirt completely unbuttoned. He also had on burgundy and white skater shoes. “Hey what happened to Lopmon?”

“Um well, when he hatched again he said that he had a new partner, the one he was suppose to be with from the beginning, he's now with a ten year old girl named Tammy, I've been helping her learn how to handle Digimon. So T.K. I heard you finally hooked up with Kari.”

“Ya,” T.K. raised his hand Kari's hand in his, “Where did you hear that?”

“Us American Digidestineds keep in touch,” he said looking at Mimi, who just smiled coyly.

The group the continued to walk toward the darkness the same way they were before. On the hill ahead of them stood 14 evil Digimon, looking down in disgust, “Soon we will kill the all.”
