Episode 3:Soul to Squeeze

Kari was sitting on the bed, Davis at the computer desk and TK on the floor, when all of the sudden Yolei walks in and shuts the door.

Kari:Hey

TK:What's up

Davis:Yo

Yolei(sitting down on the bed beside kari):Hey guys

Kari:So, what's wrong with you and Ken

Yolei covers her mouth and begains wispering in Kari's ear

Yolei:Well while Ken and I were in the store this girl came up and called me a skank and I found out that Ken has been going out with her and he did'nt tell me.

Kari:But why are you mad a Ken?

Yolei:Well I kind of like him a little

Kari:oh

Davis:Ok what was that about

Yolei:none of your business

Davis(making a googley face at TK):Awe Yolei likes Ken

TK and Davis start laughing and making comments, when Yolei leaves the room

Kari(getting up):You guys are jerks!

Kari leaves the room following Yolei outside. Yolei sits down beside the door and starts crying. Kari sits beside her and trys to console her.

Kari:Yolei it's ok, don't listen to anything they say

Yolei:It's not that

Kari:What then?

Yolei:I was so mean to Ken, I mean I was a real bitch

Kari:Yolei don't say that

Yolei:I just want to be a good person but It's like I can't or something

Kari:It'l be ok

Yolei:You think so?

Kari:Yeah, lets go inside its cold and dark out here

Yolei:I dont want to go back in there

Kari:No we'll go in my parents room away from them ok

Yolei:Ok

Kari and Yolei head inside, Kari takes Yolei to her parents room and goes to Ken.

Kari:Ken, do you want the lights off

Ken:sure

Kari(turning the lights off):alright

Ken:Thankyou

Kari:Your welcome

Kari then goes back into the room with Yolei.

Kari:Listen to me Yolei, it's going to be ok, you should get some sleep

Yolei:Your right, I am tired

Yolei yawns.

Kari: You can sleep in my parents bed, it's real soft

Yolei:Were will you sleep

Kari:In here with you, if it's ok

Yolei:Yeah no problem

Kari:Ok, I've got to do some things around the house

Yolei:Ok

Kari turns off the light and looks at the clock. 11:28pm.

Kari:I've got to take a shower

She goes to her bed room to get some pajamas. When she opens the door she see's Davis and TK in the same spots they were in when she left.

Kari:Listen guys sorry about earlier

TK:It's ok

Davis:No offense taken

Kari:Yolei's just going through a hard time right now, so dont tease her ok?

Davis:Ok sorry

TK:yeah

Kari:You can sleep in some of Tai's old pajama's, bottom drawer.

TK:Thanks

Davis:Thanks

Kari reaches over to her dresser and gets out a pair of pajamas, then leaves the room, and heads toward the bathroom to take a shower.

Meanwhile Ken sits on the couch and watches old music videos, when a Red Hot Chili Pepper video comes on, it was a strange video featuring a traveling band with the Chili's lead singer as the ring leader, but it was a real mellow song and the lryics seemed to put him at ease.

I got a bad disease,
Up from my brain is where I bleed.

After listening to the song Ken felt a little better, and was able to sleep.

Kari had been in the shower for about and hour and a half, so she turn the valves off and got dressed and was heading to bed when she noticed that Ken was no longer on the couch, but in his place was Davis.

Kari:Hey were did Ken go?

Davis:I let him sleep in the room

Kari:Oh, so what are you doing

Davis:Oh nothing

Kari:Do you want something to eat?

Davis:sure

Kari:How about chicken noodle soup?

Davis:sounds great

Kari went into the kitchen and got out two cans of chicken noodle soup.

Davis:Let me help you

Davis jumped up and headed into the kitchen and started the stove up, he cooked soup alot so he knew what to set the temperatures at. This is about when Kari noticed that Davis was'nt as stupid as he acted. Kari poured the soup into a pot and Davis put it on the stove.

Kari:So, Davis?

Davis:Yeah?

Kari:Have you ever been hurt by someone?

Davis:You mean emotionally, not physically?

Kari:Yes

Davis:There was this one girl before I moved here. I thought I knew her, we went out for almost a year. Then she came up and dumped me like I was nothing, so I started acting like I was nothing.

Kari:You're more than nothing Davis, you have more commitment than anyone I know.

Davis:No, your just saying that.

Kari:I'm serious Davis, dont keep putting yourself down, you've been trying to get me to go out with you for years, and you still havent givin up

Davis:Mabey I should.

Kari:Well let's consider this our own little date, ok?

Davis:Ok

As the soup finished cooking Kari poured it into two bowls and sat them down on the coffee table in the living room. Davis grabbed two pillows, giving one to Kari and sitting down on the other. They then began to eat their soup.

Just as They were finishing their soup Kari put her spoon down. Leaned over the table and kissed Davis on his cheek. As she got up Davis could do nothing.

Kari:Goodnight Davis

Davis:Goodnight princess

Kari smiled and put her bowl in the sink, then went to bed.
