Digital Dementia Chapter 2: The Dark Hope

Ms. Kamiya finally woke up and saw Jason still sitting across from her. "I could have sworn you just told me that my son was dead." She suddenly realized the serious look on his face. "He is really gone, isn't he?"

Jason got up and started to walk towards the door but stopped and turned back to her. "I am truly sorry that this has happened to you. But you should now something. Since he died in the Digital World, there is an infinitesimal chance that he could be resurrected, but someone else would have to but their life at risk to do it. It requires the person to intentionally go into limbo between two dimensions and try to find his essence. There is only one way that I know of to stick a person into Limbo intentionally though, and that is and attack by one very powerful digimon. I suggest you let T.K. stay here a couple of days to help comfort your daughter."

Ms. Kamiya looked at him. "I'll ask you this now; please don't let anyone else put their life at risk just to bring my son back."

"I never intended to. I told you this because one of my best friends was recently hit by the attack that I mentioned before and if he ever wants to return to this dimension, he will have to pass through limbo to get back. If he comes across Tai's essence, he will not hesitate to recover it and bring it back with him. Unfortunately, I have no idea if my friend is even still alive." With that, Jason turned back to the door and walked out, followed by Wolfmon.

When Ms. Kamiya went to check on Kari, she was in no way surprised to find her and T.K. asleep in each others arms under the covers of her bed.

As Ryan finally got outside of the facility, he skidded to a stop beside Rita and Henry. They were just standing there, apparently in shock. When he looked in the direction that they were looking in he could easily see why. Standing less than one hundred feet in front of them was a Myotismon flanked on either side by a Wizardmon. Takato came out beside and skidded to a halt as well. He was the first one to talk. "HOLY FUCK! NOW THAT CANNOT BE A GOOD THING!"

Unfortunately, Takato's voice caught the attention of the digimon. When the Myotismon looked there way, his eyes instantly focused onto Drake. "Ah, I see we have finally found the first of the three." He pointed his hand and Drake, which caused a growl from Drakemon, who was now standing in front of him. "My masters have sent me to insure that you perish this time."

Drake just looked at him. "WHY THE FUCK IS EVRYONE TRYING TO KILL ME ALL OF THE SUDDEN!?" As he spoke, to the surprise of his three new companions, he started to glow a bright red, as did his digimon. "I call on the powers of old. ARC-DIGIVALUTION ACTIVATE! Powers of Light, Hope and Power!" With that, he and Drakemon rose into the air and merged. When the light finally faded, standing in the place was the same Digimon that Takato and the others had seen earlier. "Neo-Ragnamon. Now, what was this you were saying about killing me?" As he spoke, the two blades appeared in his hands again.

The Myotismon just looked at him, totally unimpressed. "Is that supposed to scare me? I have seen scarier Numemom." He looked at the Wizardmon to his left. "Dispose of him."

Before the Wizardmon could reply, a red energy beam shot past Ragnamon and hit it, sending it back half of the length of the street. Ragnamon turned and was meat face to face with a red dinosaur that had two metal claws and a metal chest plate covering its stomach. The Myotismon was the first to say anything. "And you would be?"

The red digimon just looked at him. "I am Wargrowlmon." It was at this point that Ragnamon first noticed Taomon and Rapidmon behind Wargrowlmon.
