3 Months Later

 

That night there was a headlight of a car driving on the road, the two couples in the car. A long haired brunette girl playing with her phone Candy Crush while her boyfriend was focused on driving. They were probably out of town. 

 

The black haired man saw the sign that said Palm Springs about 3 miles away. He really needs to find an inn to sleep one night. 

 

“Hey, Anthony, how far are we going to Palm Springs? I’m getting tired now.” said Kristy.

 

“Not that far, babe. Hopefully, we’ll find an inn because we’re going to sleep one night,” Anthony said, grinning at her.

 

Kristy smiled in her pink lips, “I like the sound of that.” 

 

As they were smiling at each other, Anthony saw something blocked on the road, he halted his car and he couldn’t believe there was a log blocking the road! 

 

“What the fuck?! Are you kidding me?!” He exclaimed in anger. 

 

Kristy looked around, “Maybe we should go back.” 

 

“No, I’ll have to lift a log, so we can go through.” He said, unbuckled his seatbelt. “Stay here.” 

 

Anthony got out of the car, he rolled up his sleeves readying to lift a log, but it wouldn’t budge. 

 

“Damn. I think I better call someone else.” muttered Anthony. 

 

Kristy was anxiously waiting in the car, so she surfed her phone on Google and searched AAA. As she was about to call, there was a headlight that approached behind her. Anthony turned around and waved his hands to his attention. 

 

A tall man wearing a black trench coat got out of the black car, and he walked towards Anthony. Anthony really needed his help to get rid of the log off the road and started their destination. 

 

“Need some help?” the dark haired man asked.

 

“Uh, yeah. I was trying to get rid of the log, but it won’t budge. My girlfriend and I are having a trip. So, I think you can help me?” said Anthony.

 

The dark haired man smirked, “Sure, I’ll lend you a hand.” Anthony grinned at him as a thanks. 

Both men began to lift the log, however the dark haired man had an incredible strength to lift the log finally off the road and threw it aside. Anthony was amazed how strong he was, but he smiled with admiration. 

 

“Wow, you’re incredibly strong! I thought I was gonna lift it, but I didn’t. So, thank you. We’ll be on our way.” said Anthony. 

 

As he walked towards his car with his girlfriend inside waiting, he felt something grab the back of the shirt roughly, the dark haired man smiled wickedly.

 

“Hey, what are you doing, man?! Let go of me!” yelled Anthony, trying to break free from grip, but to no avail. 

 

The dark haired man’s morphed into a vampiric visage, his brows and forehead twisted, grotesque. His eyes turned glowing yellow, and he had razor sharp fangs. Anthony screamed in horror.

 

Then he sank his fang killing him with a fatal bite to the neck, blood trickling down to his neck. Kristy screamed and she locked the car doors. She moved over the driver’s seat, and she tried to start a car. Suddenly a fist broke a glass and strangled her, she reversed the car backward. 

 

She was steering the wheel with a sharp turn trying to get off from his grip. She then pressed the car lighter to turn on the heat until it popped out and burned his hand. The dark haired howled in pain and released this woman’s neck and stumbled on the ground.

 

Kristy stared at him lifting himself off the ground. With Kristy’s fierce look on her face, she pulled the gear to “D”, pressing the pedal, and drove through trying to kill. However, the vampire balled his fist and punched through the front of the car and pulled out the engine when the car died down. Kristy gasped in shock, she tried to turn the engine but to no avail. She quickly got out of the car and escaped from this horrendous man when she bumped into the female figure. She was a beautiful woman with wavy blonde hair, she had worn a black shirt, bronze leather pants, and black shoes. However, her face was grotesque, her brow and forehead sharp ridge, her eyes were blazing yellow, and she had razor sharp fangs. 

 

Kristy screamed in terror when the female vampire grabbed her neck and pulled her close and smiled evilly.

 

“Hehehe, I got your ass now,"  The female vampire said. “You’ve got nowhere to run.” And then she sank her fangs into Kristy’s neck and sucked her life until she dropped her lifeless body on the ground. She smiled with satisfaction.

 

Angelus caressed Darla’s cheek and kissed her passionately. 

 

Angelus said, “You don't realize how much I love you, do you? "

Darla laughed, “Well, we’ve always been together, I could show you the world.” 

 

“Heh, you showed me the world that I killed a thousand of people. As long as you’re with me, I wouldn’t leave you." Angelus said.

 

“You survived from the explosive of the temple, and you carried me in your arms while I was unconscious back in China." Darla said.

 

" Let's just say we've been there for each other. Drusilla still has this pesky soul, and she always helped people.” said Angelus bitterly.

 

Darla said," You're right about Drusilla.  But she is a pain in the ass that I want to get rid of for good!  But you won't let me, will you?”

 

“I wouldn’t have made her insane when I sired her first. I would’ve killed her first even though she was my masterpiece.” said Angelus.

 

Darla said, “Somehow I seriously doubt that. But anyway, what's our next plan of attack?"

 

“Well, first we’ll go to The Master’s lair for what our plan is. He’s tired of being imprisoned in the underground barrier if we have to free him.” said Angelus.

 

Darla nodded, “You’re right. Let’s go to our Master.” 

 

Angelus and Darla got into the car and drove away that very night.
