Palm Springs Route 66 at 6:20 AM
The next morning, investigators swarmed the scene of the incident on Route 66. The paramedics carried the two corpses in the body bags and took them to the ambulance while the police officers identified their ID cards.
Kristy Mae Calkin, age 23, and Anthony Bryan Harrison, age 23 were killed by some vicious animals. No one knew what had happened, but due to the large presence of investigators and personnel on scene it was something very big. The news reporters and the camera crews talked about the incident. These young couples were murdered by something or someone and had fatally bite marks on their necks like they were some kind of vicious animals.
There was African-American male who was 40 something years old, he was a veteran detective from the 17th precinct of L.A.P.D. He entered the crime scene tape and asked the investigator.
“What do we have here?” asked Daniel Bollis, it was his name.
“Well, we have bodies here on the road. The young couple appeared to have been attacked by a vicious animal due to the puntures of the neck marks on the victim’s necks.” said John.
“Pfft, don’t tell me there are wolves or mountain lions that appear on the goddamn road. Are there any fingerprints here?” asked Daniel.
“I have found these fingerprints. We’ll need to analyze at the laboratory.” said John. Daniel nodded.
The reporters and camera crews rushed in, “Did you say wolves and lions could have been the cause of these bodies?” A reporter asked another question; “Do you know where these animals could be now?”
“I’m not obligated to answer these questions. There are no species on this road nor do I believe in supernatural creatures. We have this murder case here. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to work things to do.” said Daniel, pushing them out of the way.
Daniel spoke to the investigators and police officers cleared off the road.
San Francisco, CA 7:30 AM
Drusilla’s house-
Drusilla warmed up pig blood in the mug from the microwave. She turned on the TV to watch the news. She heard the microwave beep when the mug was done. She took out the mug from the microwave and she went to the living room to watch the news.
Two hours later, Drusilla began working on her computer doing some project research. She was always working at home. She was a vampire with psychic abilities, she had a soul and now she became a Psychic Detective. She hunted spirits, ghosts, and demons from their homes.
A notification came across, “In breaking news, creatures have been spotted all over Japan running rampant. The creatures are either coming out blurred or not showing on camera.”
Drusilla looked curious at this article. ‘Hmm, I wonder what happened in Japan? I think I’ll have to take a trip next week.’
The sound of a chime ringtone from her Smartphone. She picked up and masked her caller ID, it was Leon, Drusilla’s boyfriend. She answered.
“Hello?”
“Hey, Drusilla, how are you doing?” Leon greeted his girlfriend on the phone.
“Hi, Leon. I’m doing fine. I’m just working on my project. So, how are you doing?” she asked.
“I’m going great, Dru. Just working on my music, as well.” said Leon.
“That’s great!” Dru beamed a smile.
“Hey, uh, I was wondering… If you want to come to the nightclub. Is it alright I can pick you up at 8:00?” Leon asked.
“Oh, yeah. I want to have fun again. I’m sure Britney and David will be here, too.” said Drusilla.
“Really? Are they your friends?” he asked.
“Yeah, I met them at the bar that night. I’m sure you’ll meet them.” said Drusilla.
“Okay. I’ll see you at the Temple Nightclub at 8:00.” said Leon.
“Okay, I love you. Bye.” said Drusilla.
“Love you, too, Dru.” said Leon.
They hung up.
Drusilla sighed, she went to a website called Princess Cruises and she ordered a ticket to visit Japan and she would go on a mission next week. She wouldn’t be delayed. She glanced at the clock which was 9:45 AM. She headed back to her home office.
4:45 PM at JCPenney
Drusilla was shopping at the JCPenney that she bought a beautiful black sheath dress and a black T-strap pump, and a pair of silver bangles. She went to the checkout and bought these clothes.
5:01 PM at Drusilla’s house
Drusilla got home and hung her coat in the clothes rack. She set her shopping bag in her bedroom. Drusilla called her cat Jade and gave her a cat food for dinner. She petted her. She went to the living room to watch her favorite movie.
6:36 PM
After she finished watching the movie, she headed to take a shower. She washed her hair and body with the smell of violet and jasmine. She brushed her teeth and put on makeup. She put on the black dress and pump. She sprayed herself with White Diamond by Elizabeth Taylor. Drusilla looked fantastic.
7:15 PM
When the sky fell to dusk, Leon’s car pulled up Dru’s house and honked as he had arrived. Dru got out, set up a security alarm, and locked the door. She entered Leon as they greeted each other and went to their destination at the nightclub.
7:55 PM
They arrived at the Temple Nightclub and were ready to have fun. They entered the nightclub and there were LED light and strobe lights everywhere and they could hear the music sound of trance. And those people were dancing. Drusilla smiled at it.
A short blond girl spotted Drusilla and her boyfriend at the entrance. She waved at them.
“Drusilla! Is that you?” the blond shouted.
“Britney?” surprised Drusilla, she hasn’t seen her in 3 months.
“Yeah! How have you been? Haven’t seen you in 3 months.” she said.
“I’m doing great. It’s been a while since I met you at the nightclub. So, how are you and David?” she asked.
“Oh, we’re fine. The doctor fixed David’s arm and he was fully healed in the last 3 months. And I wanted to thank you for saving our lives back.” said Britney.
“Oh, it’s no big deal,” said Drusilla.
“Hey, who’s this guy?” asked David.
“Oh, Britney, David, I’d like to meet my lover. This is Leon,” Drusilla said. “Leon and I even matched on Tinder.”
“No way!” exclaimed Britney.
“Yes way.” said Drusilla.
“Hi, Britney. Nice to meet you.” said Leon, shaking her hand.
“Hi, I’m David,” said David, shaking his hand.
“So, uh, how about we get a drink, yeah?” asked Leon.
“Yeah, let’s order some.” agreed David.
They drank their booze and the couple asked Leon what was his hobby and occupation. He told them he was a music producer and he was always making music. Britney and David were astonished.
When the next song played Be My Lover by La Bouche. It was Drusilla’s favorite song. She told Leon to come dance with her, Leon agreed. David and Britney joined them.
