Chapter 6 I Have The Power Of Light and Love?!



Later, we all sit near a boulder. Takuya IS that boy with
the goggles I had seen in the elevator when it was closing.
"You've changed, Takuya," Kouji says. "Yeah," Takuya
replies. "Guys, this is Yalanda. Yalanda, this is Junpei,
Izumi, Tomoki, and Kouji." He gestures to each kid. "Hi," I
say. "Konnichiwa," Izumi, the blonde girl wearing a pointy
purple hat says. Tomoki, a little boy wearing a big hat
gazes at me, shyly. Junpei, a chubby boy with spiky,
brown hair, nods his head, respectively. Kouji, the
bandana boy I had seen in the real world, eyes me, but is
silent. After that, we start our trek to the "Rose Morning
Star." We walk down a mountain path with Junpei as
leader. He sings some stupid marching song. "Who
elected him?" Takuya asks, a hint of teasing in his voice.
"Not very inspirational as a leader." "Looks like he's
showing off to me," Izumi says. "What if we don't wanna
see what he's showing?" Kouji asks. "I wanna turn being
the leader," Tomoki says."I don't know," Takuya replies.
"Leadership takes independence. You ready for that?"
"Hey, Junpei depends on chocolate and that doesn't stop
him!" Tomoki says, laughing. Izumi laughs, too. "Well, that
settles it," Takuya says. "I guess you're the new leader,
Tomoki. I sure hope your marching song isn't as dorky as
Junpei's!" Junpei mutters something, but I can't hear it.
Suddenly, the mountain begins to rumble hard. A harsh
wind blows us(excluding Bokomon and Neemon.) away.
We fly through some portal and land on something
spongy-like. "I really am tired of falling down," Takuya
says, groaning. "Wherever we are, it looks like we're
trapped," Kouji says, observing the place. Takuya kneels
down and touches some spongy substance. "Feels sorta
spongy," He says. "This isn't normal rock." Junpei walks
over to one side of the place. I check out the other side.
Ewww. An eyeball. I, suddenly, hear Junpei scream. I turn
around, but something grabs me and pulls me into the
eyeball, which turns out to be a portal. I scream, but it
happens too fast for anyone to hear.



On the other side of the portal, there's a field of flowers.
The sun shines brightly and the air is warm. "Where am I?"
I wonder aloud. "You are right where I want you to be," a
mysterious voice says out of the blue. A harsh wind blows
and a woman appears. She has really long, black hair,
sinister red eyes, and long fingernails painted red. She
wears a long, black dress. "Who are you?" I ask. "I am
Rhea," the woman answers. "I was sent here by my
master to destroy you." "Why?" I ask. "You have the power
of Light and Love that will set the Digital World free," Rhea
replies. "Power of Light and Love?" I repeat. Rhea nods.
"You are an asset to the Legendary Warriors. Your powers
will destroy my master and for that, you cannot live." "Are
you a Digimon?" I demand. "I am data that has taken on
human form," Rhea replies. "Now this conversation has
gone on long enough. You must be destroyed." She lifts
up a hand and blasts dark energy at me. It blows me
backwards and I hit the flower field hard. "You are
finished," I hear Rhea say. I groan in pain and sit up
slowly. She blasts more dark energy at me. I scream.
Suddenly, someone grabs me and moves out of the way a
second before the blast hits me. Smoke rises and clears
after a few minutes. I realize I'm in somebody's arms. I
look up and see Lobomon glaring up at Rhea. "Lobomon,"
I say. He looks down at me in concern."You all right?" He
asks. I nod. He stands up and glares back up at Rhea
again."Who are you?!" He demands. "What do you
want?!" "She is gifted with the power of Light and Love,"
Rhea says. "Power of Light and Love?" Lobomon
questions, looking down at me again. "Yes," Rhea
answers."She will destroy my master Cherubimon." "You
work for Cherubimon?!" Lobomon demands. "Master
Cherubimon ordered me to destroy her, and that is what I
must do," Rhea says, eyes glowing fiercely red at me. I
gasp and duck behind Lobomon. He makes sure I'm
behind him and turns back to Rhea. "Prepare to die," Rhea
says. Her voice sounds possessive over the idea of killing
me. I hear Lobomon growl deep in his throat. He draws
one of his Kendo light sticks out and charges towards
Rhea. "Lobo Kendo!" He calls, jumping into the air. He
brings down his light stick down on Rhea. She blocks it
with an invisible shield and blasts dark energy at him. He
screams as he's blown backwards and lands in the flower
field, sending up petals. "Lobomon!" I yell. I look up at
Rhea. She has a sinister smile on her face. She points a
finger to the sky and dark clouds appear. A big, black
lightning bolt shoot down towards me. I scream and shut
my eyes read to feel pain, but I don't feel anything. I open
my eyes to see Lobomon taking the bolt for me. He's
screaming in pain. It hurts me to hear it. When the bolt
disappears, he falls down changing into Kouji(He IS
Lobomon.). I hold him in my arm, his head resting against
my chest. "Kouji..." I utter with tears in my eyes. He
groans, looks up at me, and smiles. I sniff. Rhea sends
another energy blast at us and we both scream as we're
blown away. Kouji lands on top of me. He's breathing
hard. I see another lightning bolt whiz towards us. I
scream. Kouji shield me from the bolt and it hits his back.
He screams in pain and agony. Another bolt his him. And
another and another. He screams as they repeatedly hit
him. Finally, they stop and Kouji collapses on top of me.
His breathing is shallow. "No, Kouji!" I exclaim. "Don't die
on me!" I look at Rhea with tears in my eyes. I see her lift
a hand towards Kouji and I again. Just as she's about to
blast us, something hits her and she falls into the flower
field. A shadow looms over Kouji and I and I see a
Digimon with wings on her back and smaller ones on her
head. Zephyrmon. She picks up Kouji and holds him,
bridal style. He's unconscious. Korikakumon, a big
Digimon with horns picks me up and holds me bridal style,
also. Not too far from us, MetalKabuterimon and
BurningGreymon are fighting Rhea. "Pyro Barrage!"
BurningGreymon calls. Fire darts shoot out from his gun
things. Rhea blocks it with her shield."Bolo Thunder!"
MetalKabuterimon calls. Two electrical balls fly towards
her. She blocks it with her shield. I hear BurningGreymon
swear. She send a dark energy blast at BurningGreymon
and a dark lightning bolt at MetalKabuterimon. They
scream. "Takuya ani chan and Junpei are in trouble!"
Korikakumon exclaims. "But what about Kouji and
Yalanda?" Zephyrmon asks."You guys help Takuya and
Junpei," I say. "I'll look after Kouji." "What about you?"
Zephyrmon asks me. "I'll be all right," I reassure. "Help
them." "But..." Korikakumon starts. "JUST GO HELP
THEM!!!" I scream. I don't mean to. It just comes out like
that. Korikakumon and Zephyrmon look at me in shock for
a few seconds, then puts down Kouji and I gently. "Please
be careful," Zephyrmon whispers. I nod. "You, too. Sorry
for yelling at you two." Zephyrmon and Korikakumon both
nod and race off to help the other. "Hurricane Gale!"
Zephyrmon calls. "Avalanche Axes!" Korikakumon calls,
throwing large axes at Rhea. The wind attack absorb in
the shield and the axes bounce off of the shield and hit
them both. They cry out and hit the flower field. Rhea
raises a hand, preparing to blast them.'No!' I think. 'I won't
let her hurt them!' Rhea's eyes glow red. "STOP!!!" I
scream. "STOP IT!!!!" Rhea turns to me, in shock."You
want to kill me?!" I demand. "Fine, but leave them alone!!!
"No, Yalanda!" BurningGreymon cries. "As you wish,"
Rhea responds with an evil smile. She blast dark energy
at me and I scream feeling immense pain. When the pain,
stops, I fall backwards. I hear the others scream my name
as I hit the ground. "So this is what it's like to die," I think
as I begin to lose conscience.'I did something right and I
feel good about it.' Then everything goes black.
