Chapter 7 Meeting Ophanimon



I, slowly, open my eyes. I think I'm in Heaven until I see
a Digimon with three set of angel wings and a helmet
covering its head(No, it's not Angemon or Angewomon.).
"Who are you?" I ask. "Where am I?" "I am Ophanimon
and you are in a parallel world," it says in a feminine voice.
"Am I dead?" I ask in a whisper. "No," Ophanimon
answers."The love and sacrifice for your friends have
brought you here. You, too, are Digidestined, but for a
different reason. It is why I asked Takuya to bring you to
the Digital World." I nod. "Cherubimon has been corrupted
and is trying to destroy this world," Ophanimon continues.
"But you and the other children's love and courage will
save it. You must stop him at all costs." I nod. "I really
want to help save the world even if it costs my life."
Ophanimon smiles. "Now, before you go, I have something
for you." A light appears in my hand and forms into some
kind of golden device."This is your Digivce," Ophanimon
says. "It will help your Digimon digivolve." "I have my own
Digimon?" I ask. Opanimon nods. "Good Luck, Yalanda,"
she says, smiling. "I know you and the other children will
do fine." I gasp. How does she know my name?! I never
told her! Before I could ask, I fell myself fading.




I open my eyes again and the first thing I see is Kouji
and the others looking down at me. They smile. "Yay!
She's awake!" Tomoki exclaims. "We thought we had lost
you for a second there," Izumi tells me."What a scare!"
"Are you O.K.?" Takuya asks me. "Yeah," I reply."What's
that?" Tomoki asks, pointing to something. I turn my head
to see what he was pointing to. "My digivice..." I say. "Kouji
told us you have the power of Light and Love," Tomoki
says. I nod, then gasp, remebering Rhea. "Rhea!" I
exclaim, panicky."Is she still here?!" "Shhh," Kouji hushes.
"She's gone now." I sigh, in relief. Takuya helps me stand
up. My knees feel like Jello and I nearly fall down, but
Kouji catches me. Another one of those eyeball portals
appear. We all run through it.




Some pretty wild and weird stuff happens after that. I
come out of the eyeball maze first. Bokomon and Neemon
are glad to see me. I had gotten my Digi-Egg during a
fight with some Digimon. A Gabumon saved me, though. I
tell Bokomon and Neemon about me having the power of
Light and Love. Bokomon gets excited. Tomoki comes out
of the maze next, then Junpei, but he lands on us as we
run to catch him(Ouch! No, my Digi-Egg didn't break.).
Izumi comes out next accompanyed by some bee
Digimon(A/N: If you've seen the episode "Zoe's
Unbeelivable Adventure", you know what I'm talking about.
Anybody know how to spell that word like in the episode?).


"Hey, guys," she greets. "Guess what?" "You brought me
a present?" Neemon asks. "No," Izumi replies. "What is it,
Izumi?" Bokomon asks. "Ranamon's gone!" she exclaims,
happily. "Yes, and long live Izumi!" one bee exclaims.
"She's the best!" the other two add. They all hold up signs
with Izumi's picture."Let me see that!" Junpei exclaims,
snatching a sign from one of the bee Digimon."You guys
might me members of the 'Izumi Fan Club', but I'm the
president!" He laughs. So does Izumi. Suddenly, her
expression changes. "Wait, where are the others?" "I'm
afraid the eyes have them,” Bokomon replies. Tomoki
looks up at the maze. "I thought they'd be here by now, but
I'm starting to wonder if they'll ever get out." "They will,"
Izumi says, optimistically. "I hope," she adds, quietly.
