"Tai. I'm so sorry. Please don't cry. You know you're the one I truly love."
"I know." Tai sniffled, "I love you too."
Matt grabbed a tissue and dried Taichi's eyes.
"I'm sorry...please forgive me." Matt said, close to tears himself.
"It's not you Yama..." Tai replied, snuggling close. "I'm just confused. I really want to be with you, but I don't want to hurt Sora..."

"Where in the HELL are they?" Kaede demanded, "Are you sure they said they were coming?"
"Yes. Maybe they got held up in traffic or something." Sora answered.
"Just tell us the news, and tell them when they get here." Hiroshi suggested.
"No way. ALL of you must be present before I spill it." Kaede said.
Hiroshi sighed, "Oh brother..."

Matt slowly walked towards the park, holding Tai's hand.
"Are you sure you're not mad at me?" Yamato asked.
"I'm sure...!" Tai exclaimed, kissing Matt on the cheek. "Stop worrying. I'll be fine."
"Matt-honey!!" A familiar voice rang out.
Taichi and Matt dropped each other's hands like they were on fire, and broke apart guiltily.
"Hurry up! Get your ass over here!" Kaede bellowed.
"Uh oh...I think she's mad." Matt grinned.
Tai giggled, "Yeah..."
The two teens jogged across the street to where Kaede and Sora were.
"Now what's this big news?" Koji demanded as soon as Matt 'n' Tai joined the group.
"We've been offered a gig in London!!" Kaede and Cherona shrieked in unison.
"W-what!? LONDON!" Matt stuttered.
"Wow! Cool!" Akira exclaimed.
"That's kick-ass!" Hiroshi added.
"You'd better take the gig." Koji threatened with a smile.
"Of course I'll take the gig!" Matt replied, grinning from ear to ear.
"Yay!! We're going to London!!" Akira cried, kissing Hiroshi.
Matt instinctively reached for Tai, ready to give him a kiss too. The brunette's eyes widened wildly, and Matt snapped into reality.
<Dammit!!!> He mentally cussed, and reached for Sora.
Matt forced a smile and gave Sora a peck on the lips.
"London..." Sora repeated, "I don't think I'll be going."
"Oh? Why not?" Matt asked, feigning disappointment.
"I get airsick." Was Sora's simple reply.
"Oh well that's too bad. I'm sorry you can't make it." Matt said, hugging Sora.

"Ok you lot, calm down!" Kaede shouted over the noise.
The band had assembled at Kaede's apartment to discuss their London gig. They had their demo tape turned up to a teeth-vibrating level, and were throwing handfuls of popcorn at each other.
"I said....CALM DOWN!" Kaede yelled, turning the music off.
"Yes ma'am!" Hiroshi teased, saluting.
"Smart ass." Kaede smiled, pushing her cousin onto the sofa. "I talked to Lyla...and I've booked us a flight to London in two days. Lyla's people will pick us up from the airport in Winchester and drive us to London. Once in London we will be staying at the Bukinshire Hotel and we'll have two days to goof around while Lyla posts flyers, and gets her clubs set up for our performances. She has seven clubs, meaning we'll have seven shows to do...not all in one night of course. We'll be given a show schedule once it's worked out. Tai is our roadie, and for those of you that have trouble with your english Cherona will be coming as well. So talk to her if you need a translator."
"This is so cool. I'm so excited!" Niru smiled.
"Yeah...I don't think I can wait two days." Akira added.

"So...what're we going to do for two whole days?" Tai asked Matt as they were walking home.
"I dunno...make out like Akira and Hiroshi?"
Tai giggled, and squeezed Matt's hand. "That doesn't sound like such a bad idea, but Kari's probably home from her sleepover by now, and your dad is probably home from work..."
"Who says we have to go home...?"
Tai blushed, "And just what are you suggesting?"
Matt smiled coyly, "Not much..."
The brunette groaned, and lightly punched Matt with his free hand, "Don't tease!"
"Yessir." Matt replied, his smile wider.

"My advice to you is dump Sora."
"I want to. I really do...but...."
"But what? What's holding you back, Matt?"
"I dunno TK...guilt maybe...?"
"Maybe..." TK shrugged, "I dunno...dump her after the London thing...tell her you met up with a sexy blonde bimbo..."
Matt rolled his eyes, and ruffled his brother's hair. "I somehow doubt that'll go over well...especially when she learns the truth."
"Then just tell her the truth. Tell her you want to take Tai to your place, strip him down, and..."
"TK!!" Matt interrupted, blushing to his toes.
TK chuckled evilly, "Well it's true."
"You have no proof of that."
"Yes I do...you talk in your sleep." TK answered cheekily.
"TK!!!!"
Matt chased his brother around the apartment, laughing the whole way.

"So you finally confessed to Matt, huh?"
"Not really...it was more of a mutual agreement between our hormones. We confessed later."
"I see..." Kari replied, thoughtfully tapping her pencil on her knee. "Does Sora know?"
"No..."
"Does anyone know?"
"I think Hiroshi and Akira might have pretty much figured it out...hell, I think the whole band knows except for Kaede and Cherona..."
"Personally...I knew you and Matt would get your acts together eventually. I don't know what you should do about Sora. Get Matt to let her down gently maybe...? I have no idea."
"Thanks Kari." Tai smiled, hugging his sister.

"Bye Tai!! Be good!" Kari shouted, waving at the departing van.
"Call me!!" Sora cried.
"Have fun!!" TK called.

"We're finally free!" Akira said joyfully.
"Hai. We'll finally have a vacation alone." Hiroshi added.
"Gee...you can tell what Hiroshi is thinking about at this moment." Koji commented.
"Ah shaddup..."
Akira twisted around in his seat to face Matt and Tai, a lazy grin plastered on his face.
"You two can relax and smooch y'know...as if we'll tell Sora."
Matt blushed, "Uh...."
"We know, Matt." Niru said, smiling. "It's kinda obvious you two want to jump each other right now."
Tai blushed too, "Uh..."
"Maa! Don't worry about public affection!" Hiroshi grinned, "I kiss Akira all the time in front of you guys."
"I want to see you kiss!" Kaede shouted from the driver's seat.
"Uh..." Matt and Tai said in unison.
"Aww...they're shy." Akira cooed.
"I am not shy!" Matt protested, "I just refuse to fuel your guys's fantasies. That's all."
Tai giggled, and rested against Matt.
"Aw c'mon you guys...! Kiss!" Kaede whined.
