Rika's left with the decision to tell Takato the plan he wasn't going to participate in for his own safety. While the other tamers tried to gather Henry's father's old group with little progress, Takato was trying to figure out what was his best changes that reopening the gate would succeeded.
Takato up in his room working on his own plan, got a phone call form Rika. His parents called him down to get it. "Hello?" "It'e me, Rika." Takato was shocked to hear the digimon queen call him, for the first time. "Hey Rika, before you saying anything I have a question." Rika wasn't surprised about the question he had and answered it for him." "I got your number from Jerri. She got it from you if your forgot Takato." She heard Takato laugh from the end fo the phone. "Too smart for your own good, Rika. Anyway, what's up?" She seemed to pause for a momment and then said what was planned. "Takato, can you please show me where the gate is? I want to help you figure out how to open it." Takato was surprised but with little knowlegde on what her intentions were, answered with excitment. "Sure Rika, no problem. I think the rest of the gang will want to join in too." Rika didn't want Takato to figure ouit what they all were planing. "No Takato, just you and me, I know what your going through you'r not ther only one who misses them you know." Takato couldn't believe Rika ta;lking so deeply to him before. "Okay. Meet me under the tree where Gulimon and I race you and Renamon at your birthday." "Okay. See ya then." Rika hung up and walked out heading towards Henry's house to tell him the game plan.
