If I appear a bit too blunt in my notes, it’s for a reason. And don’t throw stones at me for using an excerpt from another fic. I’m sure you’ve all done it before.

Chapter 3: De Ja blues

RRRRRRIIIING! RRRRRRRIIIING! (Click) This is Tyler, *sigh* whatever. (Beep)
*Tyler? Are you there? It’s me, Tai. Pick up the phone I want to ask you something. Come on, man! At least let me know that you’re still alive. Anyway, look. The others and I are planning for a picnic in the digital world, and we want to see if you want to go. It starts today at two, so we hope to see you there. Call me later, or you can just pick up now and let me-*

“You don’t give up very easily, do you?” Tyler asked picking up the phone in the living room.

“I knew you were there!” exclaimed Tai. “So will you come?”

“Yeah, sure,” sighed Tyler. “But only because you won’t stop begging me if I said no.”

“Cool beans,” said Tai. “We’ll be meeting at Sora’s house at about one thirty.”

“’Cool beans’?” Tyler said, stunned that someone would take his phrase. “You’ve been around me too long.”

“What can I say? You’re quite an influence.”

“Whatever. Who all is going to be there?”

“Who do you think? Everybody!”

Tyler stayed silent.

“Well…except for a couple of people,” Tai said. “What were you up to anyway?”

“Why ask questions you need no answer to?”

“Huh?”

Tyler chuckled. “Never mind,” he said. “I’ll see you guys there.” He hung up the phone and looked at the clock on the wall.

“10:30,” he read. “That gives me enough time to deal with a few things.” He went into the bedroom to get ready. As he looked at what he wanted to wear- a white nylon button down shirt with black cocoa leaves etched on it, a pair of beige permanent press slacks, and his sketcher boots- something struck him as familiar about the whole ordeal. ‘Hmm,’ he thought to himself as he set the clothes on his bed.
****************************************************************** **********

“Nothing like a good shower to start off the day,” Mimi said as she walked out of the huge bathroom with a towel wrapped around her. “Especially in a five star hotel such as this one.”

“This hotel was just built recently, so there‘s no reason it shouldn‘t be comfortable,” Izzy said from the bed. He had a shower before Mimi did, but didn’t bother changing out of the terry cloth bath robe. It was just too comfortable. The hotel they were in was thirty stories high, and forty feet wide, which was enough space for the 118 rooms there. The top floor had the most comfortable, but very expensive suites that only the richest people were able to get. And since Izzy worked with Bill Gates, he was able to get the best suite there. The room looked more like a small house inside of a building, and was about 1/10 larger than the other suites. It had a bathroom, living room, bedroom and kitchen. The bathroom itself looked like a small bathhouse. The tub, which served as a Jacuzzi as well, was about fifteen feet long, ten feet wide, and three feet deep. There were two lawn chairs off to the side next to the wall, a small metal table with two chairs two feet away from it, and a few palm trees were set in various places. There were two doors across the way from the entrance, one leading to the shower, the other leading to the sauna which could be used as a wet or dry sauna. The living room had a huge comfortable sofa that was able to convert into a guest bed, a smaller love couch, and a few single chairs dotted everywhere. A huge, 92-inch flat screen TV sat towards the front of the room, and a plush, white carpet finished the décor. The bedroom, which was in the same area as the living room, had a huge double-sized bed with a king size air mattress that could probably fit no more than six people in it. A nice redwood nightstand sat off to one side of it, and a small desk was on the other side. The kitchen was pretty much plain, except there was a chrome silver hibachi stretching in the middle of the aisle. Stainless steel skillets and utensils hung above it on racks.

“So what do we have planned for the day?” Mimi asked walking over to the bed.

“Well, we can stay here,” Izzy said laying back. “Or we can go to the picnic that everyone planned.”

“What picnic?” Mimi asked as she stretched her torso over Izzy and kissed him on the lips.

“Mmm…the picnic that Tai and the others planned,” he answered, returning the kiss.

Mimi slowly straddled his stomach while still kissing him. “They didn’t want to invite us?” she asked between kisses.

“Apparently not,” said Izzy massaging Mimi’s butt, making her coo with delight.

“How…ooh…did you…find out?” she moaned.

“Cody,” he said, moving his hands around to her front and slowly caressing her spot which made her moan louder. Not being one to be taken control of, she moved one of her hands down to his erect member and began rubbing, feeling as it pulsed against her palm.

“At what time?” she whispered in his ear.

“Two o’clock,” he whispered back. About now Mimi was wet to the point that she was dripping on his stomach, and Izzy’s throbbing member was beginning to hurt him as she rubbed it. She sat up, still on his stomach, and took off the towel showing her perfectly rounded breasts and hard pink nipples, which were still wet from the shower. Izzy stared at her, captivated by how beautiful she looked. She giggled at him.

“And you’ve been with me for how long?” she asked, removing his robe.

“Uhh…” Izzy couldn’t answer. He was hypnotized just from watching her. She leaned down and kissed him, breaking him out of his trance. “Sorry,” he said. “It’s just that you’re so beautiful.”

Mimi beamed at him. “You’re so sweet,” she said, rubbing his hard chest. Over time, Izzy started working out on a basis, becoming slightly muscular with a broad chest and hardening abs. But when it came down to feats of strength or showing off, Tyler far surpassed him in everything, even though Tyler himself didn‘t like showing his body that much. This is why Izzy avoided any physical contact or provocation with him. When he and Mimi hooked up, he was pretty much terrified of what Tyler might do to him (especially when he found out what happened to Tai), so he boosted his confidence by going to the gym.
Mimi moved her body downward, grinding him at the same time and leaving a trail of love juice on his stomach, and started kissing his chest as he massaged her breasts. She switched to her tongue and continued moving down, licking up her own juices, and stopping just above his groin area. She looked up at him and grinned. Izzy’s heart sped up, for he knew what was coming next.
Mimi brushed her cheek lightly against the side of his head, which was very sensitive. This caused him to go weak as if he was hit with a taser gun. He groaned as his arms and legs went limp. Mimi loved doing this to him. It enabled her to take control of his body and do what she liked.
Izzy’s member started throbbing even harder than before, as his seed started rising towards the top. Mimi noticed this, since his head started swelling and his breathing quickened, and removed her cheek. Izzy’s breathing returned to normal and his head shrunk down, but stayed erect, as his seed went back down. Mimi placed her hands firmly on his thighs just below his groin area to keep his legs apart. Using her teeth, she lightly bit at the skin of his sack and used her tongue to play with his testicles. She stopped using her teeth and placed her tongue at the base of his member and slowly started licking up to the tip, causing Izzy to grip the bed sheets.
When she reached the top she slowly engulfed him, making swirls around his head with her tongue until she reached his base again, and started bobbing her head up and down slowly, making sure she maintained control on him. Izzy tried not to buck his hips, because she would bite him if he did, and it wasn’t a feeling he particularly liked. Suddenly she sucked as hard as she could, making him bolt upright with his legs sticking straight out like rods and his lungs nearly choking on air, as he shot his load down her throat. He fell back onto the bed with a look of pure ecstasy on his face, trying to catch his breath as his member went limp.

“That was tasty,” Mimi said moving up to him.

“Why…do you…torture me like…that?” Izzy panted.

“Because I can,” Mimi said kissing him on the nose. “And you like it too.”

“You’re right,” Izzy said, moving to turn her over, which she obligingly did. “And I do believe that you’ll like what I’m about to do to you.”

Izzy kissed her while caressing the inside of her thigh, causing her to moan in the kiss. He pressed their bodies together as he moved to her neck, feeling his now hardened member between them. Mimi cooed as he grinded lightly, but hard, against her stomach, making her juices ooze onto the bed. Izzy moved down to her breasts, licking one and massaging the other, paying close attention to her nipples as he nibbled and massaged them. Mimi rubbed the back of his head as he switched breasts. He then started moving down, using his tongue to lick the space between her breasts and down her soft stomach, and stopped above her shaved area.
Mimi bit her lip and started massaging her breasts as Izzy slowly licked the outsides of her hot box, and moved to her lips, which were already wet with her juices. Her face twisted in pleasure as she whipped her head to the side, letting out the breath she was holding and moaned. Izzy slowly licked up to the top and sucked on her clit, causing her to moan even louder. Izzy never used his fingers to enter her because she didn’t like it, though he never understood why. He moved back down to her opening and brought his hands around her thighs and spread her open with his fingers to give him better access to her womanhood. Slowly he inserted his tongue, causing her to buck slightly. As soon as his lips connected to her box, he started sucking and swirling his tongue inside her at the same time. It didn’t take very long for Mimi to climax since she was using her hands to push Izzy’s head onto her snatch even harder, causing his tongue to go deeper into her. Plus she was screaming and bucking so hard she made the bed mattress bounce out of alignment.
Izzy moved back onto the bed with his face covered in her juices. She looked at him and stifled a grin, and licked his face clean.

“You’re always good at doing that,” she said.

“Don’t sell yourself short,” Izzy said, moving on top of her. “Besides we’re not done yet. Are you up to it?”

“Look who you’re talking to. Save the best for last, right?”

Izzy smiled as they came together in an excitable kiss. The tip of his member rubbed lightly against her box, which was swollen again. He slowly entered her, savoring the feel of her insides, and she moaned in the kiss. Izzy started at a slow pace, gradually increasing as she bucked her hips, keeping up with him. Izzy grabbed her hips and pushed even harder, making her wrap her legs around his waist and bring him further into her. They both breathed on each other’s necks causing the tension between them to rise, making them want even more of each other. In one final push, Izzy released his seed inside her right as she climaxed, sending her orgasm running down their legs, while the both of them moaned loudly in pleasure.
Izzy removed his now limp member from inside Mimi, and lay next to her on his back. Mimi turned onto her stomach and laid her torso halfway on him, her head resting on his chest, and her arm around his stomach as she pulled the covers up onto themselves.

“What time is it?” she asked tiredly.

“10:45,” Izzy answered in the same manner. “That gives us enough time to rest and get ready.”

“M’kay,” she said as she closed her eyes. “We’ll have to ask them why they didn’t invite us when we get there.”

“Bad idea,” he said. “We can’t give any indication that we knew about it. We’ll just simply show up and go from there.”

“Sounds reasonable,” she said as they both fell asleep.
*************************************************************** ******************
“So why do I have to leave early?” asked a girl with black, stringy hair tied in a ponytail with two strands that came over her eyes which were a rich light brown that seemed to radiate with life, a soft angular face that shined with happiness, and accompanied with beautiful lips that loved to smile. She had on a gray satin button down short sleeve shirt with black designs on the sleeves and hem over a black t-shirt, and black nylon pants that covered half of her white tennis shoes. Currently, she was helping her mom with dishes.

“Because it’ll make the move easier,” her mom said. “Besides Sara, you were the one complaining about wanting to see Sora again.” She handed Sara a plate from the sink, which she dried off and wrapped in newspaper.

“Well, yeah but…I wanted us to move together,” she pouted.

“You’ll be alright,” said her father, coming into the kitchen with a box labeled dishes. “Who knows, you might meet that guy you told us so much about.”

“Who? Tai?” She gave her dad a questioning look.

“What? No! Not the weakling!” he said with an odd look on his face. “I meant the other guy, uh Tyrell, Tyla…”

“Tyler, dad,” Sara said nonchalantly. “Besides, he already has a girlfriend who’s in New York right now.” She wrapped another dish in newspaper and placed it into the box.

“I didn’t say all that now,” her dad said in a persnickety tone while grinning. “I wonder…”

“Why is she there, while he’s here in Japan?” Her mom cut in before the two could get into an argument.

“Beats me,” Sara said. “From what I know, and what Sora told me, is that her dad got some crazy deal which forced him to move to New York.”

“Ain’t that something,” said her dad grinning broadly. “I wonder what she’s doing now…”

“Shut up Takori and go pack some stuff,” her mom said, cutting him off.

“Sorry.” Takori put his hands up in fake surrender and backed out of the kitchen, still grinning.

“That’s your dad,” Sara’s mom said, looking at her.

“Huh. That’s your husband,” said Sara.

“And you take after his side of the family, too,” said Sara’s mom, smiling at her.

“I heard that, Sakuya!” Takori called from the living room. Both women smiled at each other.

“Go finish packing,” Sakuya said to Sara, shooing her out of the kitchen. “Your plane leaves tomorrow.”

“Mom, it’s only twelve thirty,” said Sara looking at the clock. “I have enough time to prepare.”

“Well, the airport that you’re going to is about ten hours away, and your plane won’t leave until two in the morning, then it’s a five hour flight to Odaiba.”

Sara gawked at her. “Ten hours?!” she exclaimed. “What airport am I going to, the Netherlands? What about the airport in the next town?”

“Way too expensive,” Takori said, poking his head into the kitchen. “This was the cheapest we could find.”

“So when you’re done packing, make sure you get some good rest,” said Sakuya.

“As will I,” said Takori. “If anything, I’ll probably be doing most of the driving.”

“Hurry along,” Sakuya said, nudging Sara out of the kitchen.

‘This is going to be a long trip,’ Sara thought to herself as she went to her room.
***************************************************************** *********

Tyler pulled up to the Takenouchi residence in a nice, sleek, black Honda. He noticed three other cars, one of which was leaving after dropping two preteens off, and a blue van with a picture of a wolf howling at the moon on both sides.

‘Matt,’ he thought, grinning as he parked his car.

“Who’s that?” asked a small brunette with hair cut similar to Kari’s, light blue eyes, small red lips, and a soft creamy face. She had on a red t-shirt with two white stripes on the front, a pair of blue jeans with a white belt, and blue and white tennis shoes. The boy she was walking with had black hair in sort of a bowl cut, dark brown eyes that were full of wisdom, and a round face. He had on a purple short sleeve shirt, brown pants, and black shoes.

“That’s Tyler,” he said, looking back as Tyler got out of his car.

“Hello Cody, Trinity,” Tyler said as he walked up to them. Cody met Trinity Omatsu at a kendo tournament he won last year, even though it was his first time. She was his final opponent in the match, both rising as the top competitors. After a long battle, he managed to beat her, despite the fact that she had more experience than him since she entered every tournament that came about. Even though she was mean to him after that, Cody still had a crush on her. He eventually told her how he felt and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Trinity’s first instinct was to give him a fat lip, but another part of her liked it, so as he turned away, thinking he destroyed his chance with her, she grabbed his arm and spun him around into a deep kiss. They started a relationship afterwards.

“Hey Tyler,” Cody said. “How’ve you been?”

“Peachy, I guess,” Tyler said shrugging. He noticed Trinity looking at him funny, and cocked an eyebrow at her.

“What happened to you?” she asked.

“What meanest thou?”

“You look…different, as if you were sick or something,” she said, receiving a small nudge from Cody.

“Sort of,” Tyler responded as they walked to the front door. Tyler rang the doorbell and the three were greeted by Sora opening the door.

“Hey guys,” she said, addressing Cody and Trinity. She looked up at Tyler. “Hi Tyler, how are you?”

“Been better,” he said. Sora blinked at him as he shrugged his shoulders.

“Uhh, come on in,” she said after a second. Everyone greeted Tyler, noticing how thin he looked when last they saw him. Of course, no one told him that. They all knew that he was perfectly healthy no matter how he looked. That’s because Tyler’s training depended on what mood he was in. If he was happy or excited about something, his body would extend to a certain degree to where he wasn’t too meaty, but his skin would stretch over his muscles, making them well defined so he would look more like a miniature mountain. It would be worse if he was angry; picture Broly on a really bad day. Tyler rarely gets angry, though, which is lucky for everyone. Since he’s been downtrodden for a while, he’s gotten quite skinny, but was still at the point where he could break rocks with his bare hands.

“Tyler, how’s it going?” asked Joe.

“Am I playing 21 questions or are we going on this picnic?” Tyler asked slightly annoyed.

“Sorry,” Joe said.

“No, I apologize,” Tyler said sighing. “I guess I‘ve been a little edgy lately.”

He went and sat down on the couch, noticing a picture of a pigtailed brunette smiling weirdly on the table. Tyler grinned a little. He sort of missed the brown-eyed creature known as Sara.

“She’ll be moving here to Odaiba in two weeks,” Said Sora, noticing him staring at the photo and breaking him out of his train of thought.

“So ka (Is that so)?” he said, looking at her.

“So da na (That’s right),” she said, beaming at him. Tyler sensed a little spark behind that smile, as if something was being planned, but decided to ignore it.

“Hey, is everybody ready?” said Tai from Sora’s room where the computer was.

They all got up, carrying the bags or sacks they brought with them. Tyler had a dark blue duffel bag with him.

“What’s in there?” Davis asked him.

“Just some things I thought we could have fun with,” he replied.

“Tyler, would you like to do the honors?” Tai asked. Tyler cocked an eyebrow at him.

“Uhh, sure, I guess.” He held his digivice up to the screen. “DIGIPORT OPEN!”

The screen flashed a brilliant white, lighting up the whole room for a few seconds. The light died down as the digidestined disappeared into the computer.
************************************************************* *****************

A small pile of people lay tangled on a grassy meadow in front of a TV, struggling to get up.

“GET OFF ME!” shouted a strong feminine voice from the bottom of the pile.

“Someone’s crushing my spleen!” cried a smaller male voice from the middle of the pile.

“Will they ever get the hang of this?” asked a maroon colored bird with a belt on its forehead that had a feather sticking straight up in the back.

Tyler looked at them, thankful that his training kept him from being stuck anywhere in the pile. “You guys need to learn how to land on your feet coming here,” he said. Everyone glared at him as they untangled themselves, which he only chuckled at.
After greeting their digimon who were standing by the whole time watching them with amusement, in which Yolei tortured Hawkmon for his little comment, they settled down for the picnic. The boys played with the soccer ball that Tyler brought with him in his duffel bag. It was shocking to them that Tyler was able to play the way he did, especially since he never played the game before. He did many elaborate and complicated moves that no one, not even Ken or Davis, had ever seen before. He passed the ball to his teammates so fluently, that you couldn’t tell if he had the ball or not. Tyler tried not to score too many goals; he gave his other teammates a chance to get a shot in, which they did. He allowed the other team to make goals as well, since he didn’t want to be too inconspicuous. The girls were cheering for their respective boyfriends, but gave an occasional cheer for Tyler so he wouldn’t feel left out. They were just as amazed at Tyler’s skill as everyone else. After the game they settled back onto the picnic blanket, as the girls laid the food out.

“Since when were you able to play like that?” asked Ken taking a bite out of a sandwich.

“Since I was little,” said Tyler. “My dad taught me.”

“Are those moves really part of soccer?” asked Davis.

“They aren’t actually,” Tyler replied getting confused stares from the two. “I just mixed some of my martial arts in there to make it fun.”

“We could have used you on the soccer team this year,” Tai said. “We were really hurting.”

“Hear hear,” said Kari, getting a smug look from Tai, which she grinned at.

Tyler chuckled. “I couldn’t do that,” he said. “All of that media and junk would be taken away from the team and focus on me, which would be very stupid because I‘d lose the trust of my teammates. Besides, I don’t like the attention.”

This rang true to everyone, especially Ken. When he had the dark spore inside of him, it gave him abilities that no one could match, especially in soccer. When he won matches, he would hog up the media like a buffet line, and his teammates secretly hated him for it. ‘I know exactly what you mean,’ he thought.
Everyone carried on joking and laughing about their past adventures, listening to oddball jokes that Davis and TK supplied, and teased each other lightly. Although Tyler was having fun, an odd sensation kept rising in him.

‘Something about this is very familiar,’ he thought.

Sora and Tai looked at each other and grinned. Their plan for making Tyler happy was working. They figured nothing could go wrong until…

“Whoa, fancy meeting you guys here!” said a male’s voice from behind them. Everyone froze. Tai and Sora looked at each other, then up at Izzy and Mimi walking towards them, and then at Tyler, who had an indescribable look on his face. Gone was the light of happiness in his eyes, as it was replaced by dark hollowness. Whatever Mimi did when she broke up with him did a number on his soul, for when she talked, Tai could have sworn he heard something inside Tyler break.

“Having a picnic, I see,” she said. “Why weren’t we invited?”

They sat down next to Cody and Trinity, grinning mischievously. Déjà vu was the phrase that went through Tyler’s head as he looked at the scenery, and as he watched everyone arguing amongst their respective companions (except Joe who was doing his best to answer Tai and Sora’s questions), and looked down to find Smilomon asleep through the whole ordeal, a dream he hadn’t had in two days came into his head. He looked over at Mimi, who gave him a solemn look. But looking deep into her eyes, he saw the look was a lie.

‘Crest of Sincerity my foot,’ he thought as he noticed a conniving glare behind her eyes which made his eyebrows furrow.

“Don’t worry,” she whispered to him sadly, but sweetly. “There might be someone out there for you.” Tyler heard the hidden message in her words, telling him that he will never find another woman ever again.
Tyler abruptly stood up, casing everyone to look at him and waking Smilomon out of his sleep. Tyler’s eyes were dull and lifeless, as if he’d given up on life itself. “It’s been fun,” he sad in a tone that suggested death. “But I really must go.” He took his soccer ball and placed it inside his duffel bag, zipping it up and slinging it over his shoulder as he turned to leave.

“Wait, Tyler! Don’t leave yet!” Tai got to his feet and rushed over to Tyler.

“Doshite (Why)?” He asked in an emotionless tone.

“Look, man. Don’t worry about Mimi. We’ll deal with her. Please, just stay.”

“Did you tell them about this picnic?” Tyler asked turning his head to look at Tai.

“No, I didn’t,” said Tai. He looked at everyone else. “Did anyone tell them about the picnic?”

Everyone shook their heads no, except Cody, who put his head down. Tai looked at him. “Cody…”

“I’m sorry, Tai!” Cody cried. “I forgot! Izzy called me and asked what was going on, and I completely forgot not to tell him and…”

“It’s okay,” said Tyler. “It was bound to happen anyway.”

“Well if you can’t take the heat, get out of the oven,” said Mimi, earning her murderous glares from everyone, even Yolei.

“I would advise you to quit while you are ahead,” Tyler said, his back still turned to her.

“Tyler, you might as well accept the fact that you won’t get me back,” she said.

“That’s not what I meant.” Tyler turned his head to her slowly, his eyes a distinct shade of silver. He peered into hers, which made her become immobilized with fear.

“What did you do to her?!” Izzy cried as he watched.

Tyler’s eyes flashed and Mimi felt something inside her lock. He turned to leave, leaving Mimi stunned in the position she was in. Izzy didn’t know what to do. One voice told him not to engage in a fight with Tyler, but his overconfidence was telling him to avenge Mimi. Unfortunately, his ego overruled his conscience.

“Hey!” he shouted, running up to Tyler and jumping in front of him

“Leave me alone, Izzy,” Tyler said stepping around him. Izzy jumped back in front of him

“I’m not letting you get away with that!”

Tyler closed his eyes. “Izzy, Think about what you are doing before--”

He was stopped by Izzy punching him in the jaw. Everyone gasped in shock. Mimi, though she couldn’t move, smiled on the inside. Tyler’s head didn’t budge, not even by an inch. There wasn’t even a bruise on his cheek where Izzy hit him. He slowly opened his hollow eyes and looked at Izzy, whose eyes bulged as he realized his mistake.

“I warned you,” said Tyler. Quicker than anyone could see, Tyler head butted Izzy in the forehead, rendering him unconscious. With a sigh, he walked over to the digiport, and went through back to Sora’s house. As soon as he left, Mimi was able to move again. She rushed over to Izzy who had a baseball size knot forming on his head.

“Izzy?” she shook him, trying to wake him up. “Izzy!” She looked at the others. “Don’t just stand there, help me!”

“Doshite?” they all said together. She looked at Tyler’s digimon Smilomon, who was giving her a look of pure malice.

“Some friend YOU turned out to be,” he told her in a low tone. “You knew he loved you, yet you broke his heart, albeit for a stupid reason too!” With a tear in his eye, he turned and ran off. The other digimon went after him to console him. Everyone else started gathering up their things to leave since the picnic was ruined.

“Where are you all going?” Mimi asked as she watched.

Sora looked at her incredulously. “After all that just happened, you still choose to be arrogant?” she said accusingly.

Mimi didn’t know what she was talking about, which made Samantha fed up.

“How do you not realize what you just did?” she said, nearly in tears. “You just broke a good man’s heart and left him for the stupidest reason in the world: Money. You’re going to have to understand that love isn’t about how deep someone’s pockets are. A man or woman isn’t measured by their bank account. Love goes far deeper than that. It means that you’ll stand by that person through thick and thin, whether he has money or not. It means that when that person loves you, you should return that love back.” Her voice was cracking now, and streams of tears were flowing out of her eyes. Matt laid a comforting arm around her as he, too, started sobbing.

“We set up this picnic to help him through his sorrows,” he said. “We didn’t tell you because we knew it would pain him to see you, especially since he still loved you. I’m sure you know now that he cut all strings with you.”
By now, everyone had tears in their eyes, including Trinity. “I may be too young to understand what’s going on right now,” she said. “But I do understand this: Love doesn’t cost a thing. If you can’t see that, then you don’t need to be with anyone!”
They gathered up everything and walked over to the digiport, not even looking at Mimi. One by one they went through. Joe was the last one to go through. He turned and gave Mimi a heartbreaking look, and disappeared through the portal. Mimi sat there with Izzy, who was still unconscious.

‘What did I do?’ she thought. Though she didn’t want to admit it, she knew that everything that they said to her was true. ‘What’s wrong with me? Am I really worthy of the Crest of Sincerity?’

“Ahh…ow…” Izzy stirred in her arms as he slowly came to. “What happened?” He raised his hand to his forehead, and grimaced as he felt the huge knot there. He looked up at Mimi, who was spaced out.

“Mimi?”

Mimi looked down at him. “You’re awake,” she said, hugging him.

“What just happened?” he asked hugging her back.

“We crashed an attempt to help a friend,” she said sadly.

“Who?”

“Tyler.”

T he answer was obvious, but he didn’t know the full deal. As far as he knew, Tyler was trying to steal Mimi away from him by acting all mully-grubby. But as he thought about what happened, when he looked into Tyler’s eyes, he saw nothing but darkness, like a black void.

“Something really is wrong with him,” he said.

“Izzy, we have to do something,” Mimi said. “I don’t want our friends to hate us forever.”

Izzy got up shakily, wincing at the pain that rushed through his head as the knot fell. Mimi helped steady him. “Let’s take care of this knot first,” she said.

BOOM!!!!
Another large rock exploded into bits, spreading dust into the rushing river that swept it away. Tyler stood there breathing heavily as the dust settled, letting it cling to the sweat on his muscular arms. After the incident, he came straight from Sora’s house to his home, changed into his training gear, and went into his training room.

“AGAIN!” he shouted to the voice-automated computer. This time a boulder the size of a small house landed in front of him with deafening impact, splashing water everywhere. His eyes turned hard silver as he got into his stance.

“GRRRAAAAHHHH!!!” With the strength of a large rhinoceros, Tyler burst through the boulder with a punch, creating more rocks. Feeling that he vented his rage enough, Tyler went and sat under the waterfall to cool off.

‘I have got to stop beating myself up,’ he thought. ‘This is going to kill me one day. I’ll get through this somehow.’

Another chapter up, another one to be done. I put the rating as Y because I didn’t think I’d be able to write a scene like that. I proved myself wrong, so I had to change the rating to X. This story is pretty much writing itself. I already have ideas for my next chapter running through my head. In the next one, Sara finally makes it to Odaiba, much to the disgruntled Sora’s chagrin. But things will start heating up when she finds out what happened to Tyler, though. Stay tuned for more on Insight of Love.
