Hey boys and girls, Lord Patamon here with my first English ficcie (Spanish it's my natal language).

This fic it's a sonfic based in John Denver's song called Annie's Song and it's a Takari as the main couple, PataGato as secondary couple and references of Taiora and Mimato enjoy and review =D

Kari's Song

Chapter 1: Doubts, Ideas and Blackmail

13 years old Takeru "TK" Takaishi was sitting in his desk chair thinking in someone very special to him. He was staring at a picture of him and a girl about his age. The girl has short brown hair and beautiful crimson eyes. That picture was taken a few months ago in the park. TK was on his knees while Kari was hugging him around his neck.

"Kari" sighed TK "I wish I can tell you that I love more than my life and that you meant a lot to me, but I don't know how" said TK to no one in particular.

"TK" said a voice behind him. TK turned to see Patamon seated on his bed. "Oh! It's you Patamon I forgot for a moment that you was here sorry" TK said to the flying digimon.

"It's ok TK but are you alright? You seem a little down lately, it's something wrong?" Asked his little friend, a worried look in his face. "I'm fine Patamon just thinking its all" replied TK with a sigh. "About what? Maybe I can help you" said Patamon. TK can't help but smile at his partner's disposition to help. "Thanks Patamon but I don't think you can help me unless you know what is to be in love" said TK while he cupped his face in his hands.

Patamon frowned a little for that commentary "And what makes you think that I don't know what is to be in love huh? Said Patamon as he blushed when he realized that he just said before. TK of course was surprised by the Patamon's reaction, so he decided to ask him some questions.

"And since when you are in love huh? And with who?" asked TK to his blushing Digimon. Patamon realized that he was stuck so he decided answer the questions.

"Well I'm in love with Gatomon" Said Patamon blushing deep red. TK couldn't help but smile at this; he didn't found this statement strange because Patamon and Gatomon always hang out with each other most of the times so he understood perfectly Patamon's love for Gatomon. "It's like what happen to me with Kari" thought TK. "And since when you realized that you was in love with her?" asked TK to his digipartner. "Well when you and the other returned to the real world after defeat Apocalymon" Patamon began to tell his story.

"The other Digimon decide to go each one on their own to explore the Digiworld now that was no danger, Gatomon however seemed very distant so I decided to ask her was wrong to help her but instead of answer me she ran away from me to the forest, I followed her till I found her seated by a stream crying his heart out. I felt bad for her I didn't liked see her like that, so I walked up to her and began to talk with her and comfort her giving my best to do it, she told me that she missed Kari a lot and that she was scared of that she never could see her again just like Wizardmon, I told her that never lost hope and also I told her about the promise you and I made of see us again, we continued talking for hours, we ended that day as a good friends, and since that day She and I were best friends, but with the time I began to feel more than a friendship for her and a few months ago I realized that I was in love with her" Patamon said ending his little flashback.

TK was surprised but at the same time he was happy for his friend, suddenly a new question appeared on his mind. "Did you told her how you feel for her?" asked TK to Patamon. The little Digimon blushed again while he shook his head. "No I hadn't told her yet, I'm afraid that she could reject me and lost her friendship" said Patamon a little sad.

"It's the same thing that happens to me with Kari, I'm afraid of confess her my feelings for her for fear that she could reject me and lost her friendship"

Suddenly Matt walked in the room. "Hey bro, Hey Patamon why the down faces?" asked TK's old brother. "Hey Matt, is good to see you here, I need an advice" said TK to his brother. "Girl problems? or I should say Kari problems? Said Matt with a grin on his face when he said TK blushing deep red.

"Yeah Matt it's about Kari, you see I love her but I'm afraid that she could reject me if I tell her. What I can do Matt, Should I tell her and risk our friendship? Or I should stay silent and try to erase this feelings from my heart?" asked TK to his brother hoping that Matt could give him a good advice to help him.

"You should tell her TK, you never Know if she feels the same way about you if don't tell her" said Matt seriously. "But how I can tell her how I feel for her without getting nervous?" asked TK with a desperate expression in his face.

Matt thought for a moment before answer. "I know how you can tell her your feelings TK. Why don't you sing Kari a song that talk about your feelings for her in the picnic tomorrow I can help you to write the lyrics and the music, what do you think of this idea?" Asked an excited Matt to TK. TK thought about Matt's idea for a moment a then he smiled. "Let's do it Matt I can't lost hope, tomorrow I'm gonna tell Kari how I feel for her with a song" Said a equally excited TK. "That's the spirit bro, let's start right now with the song" said Matt to then he and TK head towards Matt's apartment to write the song.

Patamon was very happy for TK and the previous conversation between Matt and TK made him think about his situation with Gatomon and finally he came to a decision.

"Tomorrow I'm gonna tell Gatomon how I feel about her, like TK I can't lost hope" thought the orange Digimon and then he finally fell asleep on TK's bed happy with his decision."

Meanwhile that night at the Kamiya's House, Kari was in her bedroom talking with Gatomon.

"Hey Gatomon ready for the picnic tomorrow?" Asked Kari to her Digimon. "Yeah, gonna be fun" said Gatomon smirking at Kari. "Well I bet you can't wait for tomorrow to see Patamon right?" Kari teased Gatomon making her blush "Kari! I don't even know if he feels the same about me as I feel for him, besides you shouldn't talk because you are in the same situation with TK" said Gatomon now causing Kari to blush. "Yeah you're right Gatomon, what about if we tell them our feelings tomorrow? After all we never know how they feel about us if we don't tell them how we feeling for them." Proposed Kari as Gatomon smiled. "Yeah you're right Kari let's tell them tomorrow and maybe they feel the same about us" agreed Gatomon.

"Yeah let's keep our hopes high" said Kari remembering TK when she said the word hope. "So sis finally you're going to tell TK how you feel for him?" asked Tai while making kissy noises. Kari took a Pillow from her bed and then she threw it at Tai hitting him directly in the face. "Tai this is none of your dam business so leave me alone or I tell mom that got an "F" in the last math test" Kari threatened Tai while Gatomon only snickered at the fear expression in Tai's face.

"Alright you win Kari but you better go to sleep know if you want to wake up for the picnic, goodnight" Said Tai as he walked to his room to sleep. "Goodnight Tai" said Kari to her brother. "You know how to blackmail your brother really well Kari" said Gatomon with a chuckle. "Yeah it's the best way to keep him away from my private life" said Kari with proud tone on her voice. "Well Kari we better go to sleep if we want to wake up in time for the picnic; tomorrow is going to be a great day" said Gatomon as she curled in a ball over Kari's sheets. "Yeah that's right Gatomon goodnight" said Kari as she fell asleep. "Goodnight Kari" said Gatomon as she fell asleep too and both began to dream with their beloved ones.
