Tk's POV
The day has come. It feels much more than an ordinary day. It is much gloomier. I made my way to my seat. I sat next to Kari and Tai. Davis was there next to me. He is just trying to get close to Kari. Tai went up to give his speech.
Tai: “What can I say? Matt was my best friend. He was like a brother to me. We would do anything for each other. We did fight. No one really won those fights to tell you the truth. We both delivered reasonable arguments. I will say this, Matt was the strongest person. It may have felt like I was the leader, but Matt was always the strongest. Matt, You will be deeply missed. We will never forget you.”
Tai stepped down and went to his seat. You could see the tears in his eyes. They had called me up to talk. I hadn't planned on it. Do I have the strength? I guess I'll find out.
Tk: “I'm Sorry. I don't really have anything prepared. Matt, I love you. We all love you. Some of us may not show it, but you can tell. If I may quote a lyric from a song called `Thunderbird', Fly On Thunderbird to your new home in the sky.”
The service was over. We gave him the best spot we could find. On his tombstone we put the crest of friendship. Rest in Peace.
