Tk's POV

 

It has only been a couple weeks. I still mourn the death of my brother. I have gotten better though. Kari has been coming over almost everyday. I am supposed to meet her today for lunch at a café down the street. I have noticed that I am starting to think of her more than a friend. I am too afraid to tell her because of everything that has happened. I'll tell her today.

 

I walk down there and I see her waiting for me. She looks beautiful. I hope she can accept what I have to tell her.

 

Kari: “Hey Tk, how are you.”

 

Tk: “I'm doing better.”

 

Kari: “You look better. A couple weeks ago you looked pale. Now you have more color in you.”

 

We go in and sit down. She orders a salad and I just get a small sandwich. We talk about everything. School, music, movies, memories, etc. She tells me that Tai is starting to move on.

 

I pay the bill and we head back to my place. Should I tell her my feelings for her? Well, I have got nothing to lose.

 

Tk: “Kari I have something I need to tell you.”

 

Kari: “What is it? You can tell me.”

 

Tk: “I…I…I love you Kari.”

 

Kari: “I love you too.”

 

She moved a little closer and passionately kissed me.

 

Kari: “I had better be getting home.”

 

Tk: “I'll walk you home.”

 

We walked hand in hand to her place. Davis was walking down the street in front of us.

 

Kari: “Hey Davis.”

 

He didn't say anything. He looked pissed though. Next thing I knew he punched me, giving me a black eye. I stumble into the street and a car hit me. The last thing I here is Kari yelling.

 

Kari: “TK!!!”
