(Taichi's POV)

After FuegoDiaboromon took Yamato away, and Yasoshaymon had told us there wasn't much we could do, I didn't exactly have a plan. You see, Yasoshaymon and his friends were constantly searching for FuegoDiaboromon's Master. Whoever he was.

Yasoshaymon said that this 'Master' guys power was thousands times greater than that of the Digimon of Legends Long Forgotten.

"The Digimon of Legends Long Forgotten are said to have great and wondrous power. They are WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon, Phoenixmon, Rosemon, HerculesKabuterimon, MarineAngemon, Magnadramon, Seraphymon, Imperialdramon, Valkirymon, Vikmon, GrandKuwagamon, SaintGargomon, Gallantmon, Sakuyamon, SaberLeomon, Beelzemon, Supremon, Omnimon, Gryphonmon, Azulongmon, Diaboromon, FuegoDiaboromon, Apocalymon, and myself, Yasoshaymon.

"You may in some time meet these Digimon. You have already met WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon, FuegoDiaboromon, and I. If you meet the rest of them, imagine their power hundreds of thousands of times greater. That is the power of FuegoDiaboromon's Master. So there is nothing you can do." He said.

"But there's gotta be something we can do! Yamato's my brother!" Takeru said.

"I am sorry, young one. But there is no way that I know of to get him back. However, I will search for him every day, and will get him back if I can." Yasoshaymon said.

"All right..." Takeru said sadly.

"How soon can you get him back?" Gabumon asked worriedly.

"It depends on how hidden and well guarded he is. If he is hidden well, with strong guards, then it may take a while." Yasoshaymon told him.

Gabumon nodded sadly.

"So what are we going to do?" Jyou asked no one in particular.

"We have to keep going." I said. The others stared at me. "Look. Yasoshaymon is going to be looking for Yamato all the time. So, why can't we just keep going now? We've come so far!"

The others muttered different things.

"Taichi, how will we be able to go and defeat the Dark Masters without Yamato?" Sora asked.

"With the Dark Masters out of the way, it'll be easier to find him. We won't be attacked as much, if at all. And like Taichi said, Yasoshaymon will be looking for him all the time." Koushiro said.

"I guess I agree with Koushiro. He does have a point." Jyou said.

"Let's put this to a vote. If we keep going, come over here, past this line," I said, drawing a line in the dirt. "If we search for Yamato, go over there."
I watched as Jyou, Koushiro, and Hikari walked over to my side of the line, and Sora, Mimi, and Takeru went to the other.

"Sorry, guys. But we'll have to look for Yamato later."

"But..." Takeru started before bursting out in tears.

"Nice job, Taichi!" Mimi yelled at me.

(Present day)

I stared at Yamato. How could he have known?

(Past date)

We had just defeated the Dark Masters, when Koushiro received a transmission from Gennai.

"Hello, kids! I'm afraid I have some bad news." He said.

"Great!" Jyou said in his usual whiny voice.

"Oh, no!" Mimi complained.

"It seems to me that there is a new evil coming your way. I don't know what it is, but it's big. So be careful. Whoever or whatever it is it's about ten miles away, through a huge black vortex on the left side of a valley you'll come to. You can't miss it! Good luck, and be careful!" He said before disappearing.

"So...now what do we do?" Sora asked me.

"What do you mean, 'now what do we do'? We find this creep and fight him!"
"Say what?!" Takeru yelled at me.

"Uh, haven't you forgotten something?" Jyou asked.

"Like what?" I said, frustrated and confused.

Just then, Mimi totally snapped. "Ooh!! Yagami Taichi, you PROMISED us that you would help us look for Yamato after we beat the Dark Masters, and darn it, we ARE!!"

"Mimi, listen. If this guy is as strong as Gennai says he is, then if he finds Yamato, who knows what he'll do! It's better to take him out now!" I said.

And we did. We fought him for a long time. Who was he? Apocalymon. Stronger than Devimon, stronger than the Dark Masters, and stronger than all of us. But we beat him, just the same.

We were relaxing on a beach, catching our breaths, when Takeru asked me:
"Now are we going to find Yamato?"
Before I could say 'yes', Gennai appeared again.

"Sorry, but you can't look for him now."
"What?!" We all exclaimed in unison.

"Not another evil Digimon, I hope." Koushiro said.

"No. But because of your battle with Apocalymon, all of the Digital World is going to be reconfigured, and you must not be here when that happens."

"But what about Yamato?" Gabumon asked.

"I can answer that." A familiar voice rang out.

"Yasoshaymon!" Sora exclaimed.

"Yes. I have the power to keep one non-Digital person safe during this phase of rebirth. But only one. I will use my power to keep him safe while the Digital World is going through this phase." He said.

We looked at each other, and nodded in silent agreement.

"All right." I said. "But...how much time do we have left?"

"Two hours." Gennai said. "You'll have to say some good byes."

"T-two hours?! But..." Jyou stammered.

We said good bye, and spent those last two hours with our best friends, and finally, we left, never to return to the Digital World for five years...

Like I said, short chapters. The next chapter....

Will have Taichi and Yamato talking again, for a quick bit...

Will show how the DigiDestined found Yamato....

And have some of the Action/Adventure everyone's (maybe) been waiting for!

Anyways, I'm nearly done with chapter four. Chapter three is finished, but...... I dunno. Ya see, I'm writing this story in a notebook for a school project, and then I'm typing it on the computer. I could write it on the computer, and have to wrack my brain for all sorts of stuff to write in the notebook, or I could just write it in the notebook first, then type it here. But then you guys won't get to read it until later. *sighs* Ah, well.

Oh, and on a side note, Hikari sided with Taichi because she was little, and wanted to stick up for her brother. Kays?

Please R&R! But no flames, though... Aw, okay. Go ahead and flame me, I'll need em to help make the bonfire with Agumon, Phoenixmon, Guilmon,Zhuqiaomon, and Impmon. ^_~
