Chapter Eleven: Shatter Love

"Young Master," A gentle voice said shaking the prince gently, "your father want's to see you."

"Not so loud, Takato is resting ..." Lee told her sitting up.

"Hhhh .... what's going on?" the other boy asked with a dreamy look on his face.

"My father want's to see me," Lee informed the other boy as he sat straight up, "but don't worry, I'll be right back so don't go anywhere, okay."

"I won't."

The prince smiled slipped out of bed, got his robe that was draped over the chair and followed the girl out. Something didn't feel right when she said that. I wonder why father wanted to see me this early in the morning anyways. The prince thought.

"What did my father want, that's so ardent that it couldn't wait until latter?"

"He didn't say. All he told me was that he need to see you right away."

Lee didn't like the way she said that, like some nasty surprise was going to come his way without warning. They both waked into the thrown room, his parents sitting on the thrown and his little sister Suzi sitting on his mother's lap. Lee turned when he heard more foot steps to see Ruki, Hirokazu, and Cathleen. Her expression turned to anger when she saw her father standing at the end of the steps that lead to the chairs.

"Lee," his father started, "some day you are to take the thrown .... are you sure you really up to it?"

Cathleen's dad was looking at Mr. Jenyra by now as all three kids where looking at the prince. Cathleen bit her lip to see Lee nod his head taking her hand. Her father looked suspiciously at them as Suzi looked closely at her brother. She could tell that he wasn't really happy what was going on.

"Excellent. The wedding will be held in nine days." Said Cathleen's father.

"What a minute. Don't you think that will caught things to close?" Mr. Jenyra asked.

"You want him to learn the way's of being a king right?"

"Yes ..."

"If he's married now, his experience as being king will be fare surpriser than if he was going to marry in two years from now."

"You got a point there." Mr. Jenyra sighted.

"Father ... what if I'm not ready to get married by then. What if I don't want to get married at all?"

Cathleen's dad laughed nervously took hold if his daughter and drug her out . Once they got to the hallway he slapped her really heard on the face.

"You ungrateful little girl! You will marry Lee, and if you don't Takato will have the same fate as Ryo!"

"You ... you wouldn't ...."

That monster,Kenta thought watching the howl thing from the corner hallway, why can't people just leave Takato alone? He did nothing wrong.

The covers where draped over Takato's head startling him a little. He removed the covers to see Juri giggling. He couldn't help but smile at her as he sat up.

"You like doing that don't you?"

"It's the only way to get you up." She said with a smile.

Just then the door opened and Kenta ran in with a worried look on his face then it changed to relief on his face. Takato blinked for one moment.

"What's up?"

"It's not safe to stay here! For either one of us!"

"I'm not leaving!"

"Takato, don't be a fool! He threatened to kill you ... all of us!" Kenta panicked shaking him.

"Even if we did leave, where would we go were would we hide?"

Silence filed the room when Takato spook up again when they heard footsteps and the sound of medial rubbing against each other. The three children just held their breaths as they started to feel fear creep to their hearts hearing the footsteps coming closer.part 12
