Chapter Sixteen: Is this all I have left?

Cathleen stood in front of her fathers grave stone that was in the middle of two other grave stone's, her mother's and Ryo's. The worm winds flowing through her hair. Yes, she did feel grief but not loneliness. Why? Why didn't she feel anything when it happened.

****** Flash back **********

Can you heal her?" Lee asked Ken

"Of course he can. Ken-chan can do anything!" Daisuke declared

"Can you?"

"I'll try."

Ken bent to one knee putting his glowing hand right on her back where she was shot. Everyone watched helplessly as Ken's expression turned more stern as sweat came down his face. Please, Cathleen! You got to pull throw. Lee thought, long enough to tell you thank for saving Takato-chan's life! The young slave held the lifeless girl in his arms, his eyes closed tears trying to keep his body from shaking. Come one, Cathleen! Don't do this to me!

"Is that to much to ask?" Takato chocked

"What's to much to ask?"

Everyone gasped with joy as Cathleen looked at everyone. Takato pulled away with no change in his expression. Lee put his hand on his shoulder trying to get his attention when ….

Bang!

All the kids froze with great fear in their eyes. By great impulse, Cathleen was the first to get up run out of the room and stopped dead. The others came racing up as she dropped to her knees. Takato bent down beside her putting his hand on her shoulder but it was bat away by her hand telling him to go away.

"Cathleen …. I …."

"---- Daddy …. why," She whispered bending down next to her father.

Cathleen turned to see her Aunt holding her coat for her saying that it was time to leave. She nodded her head turned back to take one last look at her father. Once she got to the carriage, everyone was to wish her well. Cathleen stepped up putting her arms around Lee and Takato.

"Thank you." She whispered.

"For what?" Takato asked.

"Well …. I don't have to get married right away. To be honest I didn't want to marry at all. I wanted to travel the world, see new places meet new people. Who knows, maybe I'll find someone one the way. At any rate, thanks."

"We should get going, Cathleen-chan."

"One more moment." She said walking to Ken and giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey!"

Daisuke reached out to grab her but she saw it coming and hopped in the carriage closed the door as the horsemen tugged on the rains and horse's trotted off. Everyone waved good-bye when they saw Cathleen poke her head out.

"Don't forget to invite me to the wedding, Lee-kun!" She shouted and laughing at the same time.

"Cathleen," Her Aunt said as she pulled her niece back in, "don't you think that was jumping the gun?"

"No. I was serious! I want to be there when they get hitched!"

"They're too young for that …."

"I know that …. but when they do, I want to be the flower girl …."

"Oh brother!" Her aunt groaned.

"See? I told you that everything would work you and you didn't believe me." Said Galumon

"All right, I see your point," Said Renamon looking down at the small Digimon, "now lets get out of here!"

Renamon picked the small Digimon up and vanished as the carriage got smaller and smaller from everyone's view.
