Chapter 15: Final Decisions

Monday Morning…

Jenrya was the first to wake in the group. The other four were still asleep as he slowly rose from his spot, right beside Renamon, his first instincts being to check on her. He couldn't help it; his constant worry about Renamon became habitual. `I almost lost you, again…' Jenrya thought as he looked down at his lover, 'I swear it won't happen again.' He promised himself as he kneeled down and gave the Tao Fox a silent kiss. It wasn't long before he started to notice the rest of the group as well as the surroundings. They seemed to have found a place to rest in the middle of a small forest, surrounded by trees to protect them from Pharaoh Anubimon. The blue-haired boy looked down at his sleeping colleagues, Ruki was sleeping also by Renamon, his father Janyuu was sleeping a few feet away on the hard ground, Terriermon was sleeping on a rock, Sagittarimon slept on the floor by a tree, and Puttimon right beside him on a pile of leaves.

Jenrya walked away from the group, but not too far, and found a small lake with its water clear as crystal. An opening in the large tree canopies made the water shine brighter than it really is. Jenrya took a seat on the cool grass, admiring the lake and its beauty. `I can't believe Anubimon is still alive,' Jenrya thought, `But why would he attack Renamon?' Jenrya picked up a pebble and skipped it across the lake, `It doesn't make sense. When Anubimon left when we were fighting Yakuzo, he realized his mistakes and he wouldn't try to hurt Renamon. Besides, he wouldn't dare attack Renamon when she is pregnant; he has some kind of code of honor.'

"Jen," a voice startled Lee as he quickly turned around. His father, Janyuu, stood there adjusting his glasses, "You're up pretty early. Everyone else is sleeping."

"Hey dad," Jenrya said as he turned around to stare at the lake again.

"Beautiful lake, isn't it?" Janyuu stood beside his son waiting patiently for a response.

"What?" Jenrya looked up at his father, "Oh, yeah, sure is…"

"You okay, Jen?" Janyuu asked as he took a seat beside his son.

"Yeah," Jenrya hesitated for a moment, "it's just I'm still kinda in shock after realizing I was that close to losing Renamon for the second time."

"What do you mean, a second time?" Janyuu looked at his son with a questioning look.

"Almost a year ago from today, Renamon was kidnapped." Jenrya went on with the story, "it was by the Anubimon, the one you saw last night. Back then; he had a whole legion that served him. Ruki, Takato, and I were able to defeat his legion, but before we could defeat him, he exiled himself. Now he's back, and he wanted to attack Renamon this time. Thing is, though, the Anubimon I fought with last year wouldn't attack Renamon, even if he considers her a traitor, simply because Renamon was and probably still is the only one he loves."

"Maybe he changed over the year," Janyuu suggested.

"No," Jenrya thought aloud, "he couldn't have changed so much so that he would want to kill her…"

"You never know," Janyuu shrugged, "but the good news is that when I checked Renamon last night, I found that no harm done to her or the baby, so that's good." The blue-haired elder looked out at the shimmering lake again, "There's one more thing I want to say to you, Jen."

Jenrya turned to his father, "What is it dad?"

Janyuu pushed his glasses up, "Well, actually it's more of a confession. You see, the reason Terriermon and I left for the Digital World was to…" Janyuu sighed; Jenrya listened on, "prevent you and Renamon from having your child."

"But why, I don't understand." Jenrya said, surprised that his father would try to stop Renamon pregnancy after he just gave them acceptance, "You said you accepted Renamon and my decision."

"I know," His father said as he clenched his eyes tight in shame, "It's just that...I felt like I would be too old if you had your child."

"Then why did Terriermon go with you?" Jenrya's head filled with questions.

"He felt like you would stop paying attention to him," Janyuu explained, "or as he put it, "Like yesterday's news and expired coupons."

"Why would he think something like that," Jenrya said to himself; then turned to his father again, "I would never do something like that to him. I'm sorry if I made you feel like you were getting old, Dad."

Janyuu gave a weak smile, "None of this is your fault. It's because I was selfish. I almost ended Renamon and your happiness because of my selfishness. I'm so sorry Jen."

Jenrya gave a modest, reassuring smile to his father, "Its okay, dad. You or Terriermon didn't go on with your plans and realized your mistakes before any major damage was done."

Janyuu chuckled, "You sound like a father already."

Jenrya smirked, "You know where I get it from." Jenrya hugged his father. Suddenly, both Lees sensed someone behind them. They both turned around and saw Renamon, leaning against a large tree.

"Renamon," Jenrya blinked, "are you feeling better?"

"Yes," Renamon stood straight up, "Jenrya." Renamon gave Jenrya a glance, implying that she had to talk to him privately.

"Alright," the half-Chinese boy turned to his father, "Dad?"

"One step ahead of you son," Janyuu promptly stood up and walked back to the camp, "I'll meet you back with the others." Janyuu disappeared into the thick foliage, leaving the two lovers alone.

"So Renamon, what's up?" Jenrya asked.

"I was thinking about what happened yesterday," Renamon walked closer to her lover, "Anubimon isn't the same one we knew last time we fought him."

"I know," Jenrya kept eye contact with Renamon, "he wouldn't attack you."

"That's because," Renamon paused for a moment, "he's different…"

"Hmm," the blue-haired boy took his chin within his index finger and thumb, "he did have different clothing on…"

"That's not all," Renamon continued; Jenrya looked up, "he Matrix Evolved."

"What?" Jenrya gasped, "With whom? He would never team with a human. He may not consider us "evil" anymore, but still, he wouldn't want to or team up with a human."

Renamon was silent as Jenrya concentrated in thought.

"Who would…?" Jenrya started, but then cut off by Renamon.

"Remember the insane human known as Yakuzo?" Renamon asked; Jenrya nodded, "apparently, he has a D-Arc, similar to yours, Ruki-sans', and Takato's."

"How could he?" Jenrya questioned, flabbergasted by the new news, "I mean, Anubimon looked down upon humans, and Yakuzo completely hated digimon…"

"When Yakuzo took over his body when I was fighting him, he yelled something about wanting untapped power and conquering both worlds…" Renamon explained.

"Hmm," Jenrya was in thought again, and then looked up at Renamon and started to walk up to her, "well, we can't worry about this now. You're still pregnant with our child, so we can't fight him yet."

"But we must defeat…"

"Shhh…" Jenrya quietly shushed his lover, "He may be a threat to both worlds, but right now, you're the only one I'm worried about." Jenrya kissed the Tao Fox. Renamon closed her eyes and accepted the bravado of love.

Kenta made his long journey to school. With an old rice cake in his mouth, he briskly walked towards his destination. `Man, I hate school so much…' He continued until he passed one of the many apartment buildings located near his house. He would constantly see kids who go to his school come out of them, but none of them really talked to him.

"Kenta!" Kenta turned around to the yelling voice. It was Karen.

"Hey Karen," Kenta's voice was muffled by the rice cake.

"Guess we're going to the same school." Karen said.

"Yeah," Kenta sighed.

"Is there something wrong?" Karen asked.

Kenta took the rice cake out of his mouth, "It's just that I remember when Hirokazu, Takato, and myself would play Digimon cards before school over there." Kenta pointed to the playground.

"Oh…" Karen said.

"It's alright, I got Marineangemon now," Kenta took a bite out of the rice cake, "and that's a lot better than the cards."

"I can imagine," Karen looked down at the ground, "thanks again for being my friend."

Kenta blinked, "Well, it's no problem…"

The two silently walked side by side of each other towards the school. When they arrived, they found Hirokazu and Ryo standing around for the bell to ring.

"Hirokazu! Ryo!" Kenta waved as he yelled. Karen and he ran over to the two boys. "Did I introduce you guys to Karen?" The two shook their heads.

Hirokazu nudged Kenta and whispered to him, "Nice going, Chumly." Kenta blushed and punched Hirokazu in the arm.

"Shut up! We're not like that...I mean me and her…" Kenta stuttered trying to hold in his embarrassment.

"Are all of you Digimon tamers?" Karen asked, hoping to interrupt the secret whispering going on between Hirokazu and Kenta.

All three boys nodded, "We all became Digimon tamers around the same time, except me." Ryo said, "I became one before these two did."

"Does it even matter?" Hirokazu took Ryo's comment offensively.

"No, I guess not." Ryo sweat dropped, "Anyway, Karen how did you become a Tamer?"

"It happened before the whole D-Reaper thing," Karen started to explain the event, "My partner came crashing through my window."

All three boys sweat dropped. Before the conversation could continue, the bell for the start for school started to chime its eight-chime melody. The group of Tamers walked into the main building. The group of Tamers bid farewell to each other until the next break as they headed to their homerooms in a hurry. Hirokazu went one way, Ryo up a floor, and Kenta and Karen had the same room.

---

Hirokazu sat nonchalantly in his desk chair. `Man, it's been 10 minutes in class and I'm already bored out of my mind…' Hirokazu thought as the first of his new teachers explained what to expect from this semester of curriculum. He looked around the classroom and saw no one he recognized from any of his classes he had last year, except a few classmates he never talked to, `This is going to be a long year…'

"…So don't expect to slack off, especially in MY class," the stern-looking male teacher warned the class. He then noticed Hirokazu daydreaming during his speech. He pointed at him, "you."

Hirokazu turned his head to face the teacher, "Oh, um, sorry?"

The dark haired teacher folded his arms, "Not a good way to start out the year, eh? Let me see your schedule."

Hirokazu sighed as he got up and walked up to the teacher. He handed his schedule to the intimidating teacher, `Look at him, thinking that I'm scared of him…'

"Shiota Hirokazu…" the teacher adjusted his glasses and started to study the little piece of paper, and then looked up at Hirokazu and stared at him.

`What's his problem? Why is he staring at me?' Hirokazu asked himself as he stepped back a little.

"I see that you think that I think that you're scared of me," the teacher paused for a moment, "right?"

Caught by surprise, Hirokazu asked himself, "How did he know that?" He heard snickers and quiet laughter coming from behind.

"I'm keeping an eye on you Shiota," the teacher handed the paper back, "Now go sit down."

Hirokazu walked a "walk of shame", as he could hear little snickers and silent laughs around him. He finally came to the end of his embarrassment and sat down at his desk, `Yep, this'll be a very, very long year…'

---

Ryo dropped his head and rested it between his folded arms, `I can't believe I have to go to school…'

"Mr. Akiyama," the teacher spoke, "Stop sleeping!"

Ryo quickly jerked his head up, "Sorry…"

"Just don't let me catch you sleeping again," the teacher warned him. She got back to her lesson.

Ryo looked around and noticed that girls kept staring at him. He nervously turned around again and decided to listen to the teacher, `Man, those girls are giving me the creeps,' he turned around again and looked at them, but this time, they waved at him. Akiyama had no choice but to wave back. He turned around again and sighed, `I wish I could be home with Juri,' Ryo sighed as he stared blankly at the board and the lecturing teacher up front.

---

`I hate school, I hate school, I hate school, I hate school…' Kenta kept chanting angrily in his head as he stared at the teacher lecturing about the upcoming year at the front, `I HATE SCHOOL!' Kenta snapped his pencil.

Karen glanced over towards Kenta's direction and noticed he looked angry, `What's wrong with him?' Karen asked herself as she observed Kenta break his pencil and look around nervously for another one. He checked under his desk, but found none. He looked up again, but by the time he found another one, the bell rang.

"Alright," the teacher placed the meter stick on the desk. "You will have no homework tonight, but expect a lot this quarter. Now get out of here."

Kenta was relieved as he got up and exited the classroom. Karen followed him as they both exited the school.

---

Ryo was on the brink of falling asleep again, soon interrupted by the end-of-the-day bell. The teacher dismissed the class and Ryo was the first one out the door, `Great! Now I can get home to Juri!'

---

Hirokazu gathered his books and was about to leave the classroom before a rather large boy ran into him, knocking him to the ground. "What the hell?" Hirokazu asked angrily, "Watch where you're going!"

The boy looked down on him, "Watch your back, Fag." He left the classroom.

Hirokazu looked at him with angry eyes. `Damn, I have a bad feeling about what he just said…'

---

"So how was your first day of school?" Kenta asked.

"It's probably the same as yours." Karen answered, "Boring."

Kenta laughed, "Yeah, that's right, mine was boring."

"Don't tell me that everyday will be like this," Karen asked, "I mean, I enjoy school and all, but when it's as boring as this, I can't stand it for that long."

"I know what you're talking about," Kenta shook his head, "but get used to it. It won't go away."

Karen sighed, "I'm just happy I'm out of that chamber of boredom." Karen laughed and soon Kenta joined in on the laughter with her. "I can't wait to see Devidramon again, I already miss him."

"Same with Marineangemon," Kenta said, "It'll be good to see him again."

"Listen to us, its like we haven't seen them in weeks and it's only been a couple of hours." Karen smiled at Kenta, "Are we pathetic or what?"

"I wouldn't call it pathetic," Kenta placed his arms behind his neck, "I would call it love for our digimon." Kenta chuckled, but then cut short by some boys laughing and teasing of another student. Both Kenta and Karen rushed over to the source of the ruckus. A group of upper-classmen seemed to be bullying another student. At first, Kenta and Karen were about to ignore it, but they saw that the one being bullied was none other than Hirokazu.

"Hey faggot!" one of the larger boys kept yelling.

"Damn it! Shut the hell up!" Hirokazu yelled with anger as he rushed to try to attack the larger boy, but his friends ganged up on him and beat him to the ground.

"Stay down if you know what's good for you, Fag!" the boy spat at the injured Hirokazu.

"Where did you hear I was gay?" Hirokazu coughed.

"Shut up!" another boy yelled and kicked Hirokazu again, "Stay down, transfer out of our school, and never show your face here, Fag!"

Hirokazu growled as he tried to get up, but struck down again. Kenta broke in, "Hey!" Kenta yelled. The gang of upper-classmen turned around.

"What do you want?" one of the boys asked in a threatening manner.

"I want you to leave him alone, that's what." Kenta demanded in a calm voice.

"Oh, you mean the Fag?" the largest boy turned around, "Why, is he your boyfriend?" A roar of laughter by his friends followed.

"No, but he's my best friend," Kenta said confidently, "and you bastards better leave him alone!"

"Oh really?" the large boy taunted, "or what? You're going to hurt me?"

"No, you're not worth wasting the energy." Kenta said. Hirokazu lifted himself up.

"Kenta, don't do it, you're going to get hurt," Hirokazu coughed, "I can handle these fools."

"Stay down, fag!", one of the henchmen yelled and kicked him in the rib cage. Kenta leaned over to look if Hirokazu was okay. Hirokazu was groaning from the pain, but he seemed to be okay, not too seriously injured.

"Stop hitting him!" Kenta yelled, "Damn it!" Kenta tried to push his way through the group of boys, but to no avail. There were too many of them and too strong.

"Look, the little boy wants to help his faggot friend!" the largest one said, "How cute." He then punched Kenta in the stomach.

"Oof!" Kenta clutched his stomach, "err…" he slowly dropped to his knees. The boys roared in laughter as their sadist leader walked over to Kenta and grabbed him by the shirt collar.

"You NEVER get in my business again," he threatened, "or you and your faggot friend won't see the light of day."

"Get your hands off my friend." Hirokazu got up again, "Damn it, don't hurt him or I'll rip your damn heart out!"

"This fucking faggot is pissing me off!" the leader yelled, "Take care of him!" Four boys grabbed the now bloody Hirokazu, but before they could go anywhere, someone yelled at their general direction.

"Don't hurt those boys!"

The gang of bullies looked over to who was yelling at them. Karen stood there defiantly, "You heard me! Let Kenta go and leave both of them alone!"

"Oh look, the little girl is telling us to leave these two boys alone." The leader taunted the girl.

Karen threw her shoulder-length hair behind her ears; "I'll give you to the count of three."

"What?" the large boy looked at her with confusion, "Are you threatening us girl?"

Karen shrugged, "Think whatever you want. One."

"Get her!" the boys yelled.

"Two." Karen calmly said. The boys started running towards her, "I wouldn't do that if I were you."

"Little girl," the large boy taunted, "We'll take care of you, and your friends." He laughed boldly.

"Three." Karen snapped her fingers, and like a huge eclipse, two large, black wings blanketed over Karen, "You want to see fear?"

The boys stopped dead in their tracks, scared by the behemoth of darkness behind the girl, "W…what the hell is that?"

Karen smirked, "Your worst nightmare." Four red eyes started to glow and a low, a deep growling coming from the behemoth. Then that growling became a roar and the boys ran the opposite direction in terror, but stopped by a giant machine-looking creature that cut them off from their escape. The largest boy was confused in all the screaming and dropped Kenta.

"W…what the hell are those…things?" The leader was now scared, surrounded now by the large shadow behind Karen and the giant machine behemoth. Hirokazu got up with the help of Karen and Kenta, and all three walked over to the terrified group of huddled boys.

"Look at you little bastards. Whimper in fear when something is bigger than you!" Hirokazu yelled.

"Apologize to Hirokazu right now." Karen demanded.

The boys were so terrified that they even lost the ability to move their mouths. Karen shook her head.

"Don't want to apologize?" Karen snapped her finger and the giant winged shadow roared and the giant machine raised his mechanical fists into the air, looking like they were about to strike down upon them.

"O…okay!" the largest boy fell to the ground, "I…I'm sorry…"

"Not good enough." Karen smirked. The boys sat on the ground shaking like a hunters prey. Karen snapped her fingers again and the winged shadow roared again. Then, the mechanical behemoth struck the ground, making the ground rumble.

"I'm sorry!" the largest boy was now in tears, "Y…you're not a fag! I'm a little bastard! I won't bother any of you again! I swear! Just don't hurt me!"

"You and your goons go," Hirokazu picked up the large boy, "and don't you ever bother me again!" The upper-classman shook his head rapidly, with eyes like a frightened puppy. Hirokazu let go and he fell to the ground again. He got up, as well as his henchmen, and they ran as fast as they could. Kenta and Hirokazu sighed in relief. Hirokazu looked over to his friends and gave a thumb up, "Those chumps were idiots." He started laughing.

"Oh, I believe I did very well." The giant machine spoke, "No one puts you in danger!"

"Thanks Guardromon," Hirokazu patted the big machine on the back, "Thanks Chumly," Hirokazu slapped Kenta on the back, "and thanks," he turned to Karen, "err, what's your name again?"

"Karen," The shorthaired girl smiled and shook his hand.

Hirokazu sweat dropped, "Yeah," he looked behind Karen at the giant shadow, "Whoa…"

Karen looked behind her, "Oh, that's just Devidramon. He's my digimon." Devidramon bent down so his head was about the same level as the others, "Any friend of Karen cannot be hurt."

"Thanks again guys," Hirokazu turned, "but next time, let me handle those guys." He turned back and gave the two a huge smile and another thumbs-up. Kenta laughed and shook his head and Karen giggled.

`He hasn't changed a bit.' Kenta thought as both he and Karen started their journey home

Shibumi drove up to the apartment complex where the Lee Family lived, then hurrying up the flight of stairs to their apartment number. He rang the doorbell as he tried to regain his breath, `I must tell Tao and Jenrya about Renamon before it's too late!' Mayumi answered the door, "Why, hello Mr. Shibumi," Mayumi greeted, "What's wrong?"

"It involves Renamon," Shibumi panted, "its very urgent!"

"Oh, please come in," Mayumi quickly invited him in, "We mustn't let the neighbors know about this." Shibumi took off his shoes and stepped into the apartment.

"Where are Renamon and the others?" Shibumi asked.

"Oh, they're in the Digital World," Mayumi sat down, "There was some kind of emergency and they're trying to find Janyuu. He disappeared a few days ago…"

"What?" Shibumi exclaimed in a surprised tone, "I have to find them!"

"Why? What's wrong Mr. Shibumi?" Mayumi asked as he gathered his belongings and was about to run out the door.

"I have to save Renamon's pregnancy!" Shibumi said as he ran out the door. His last statement made Mayumi very uneasy as she closed the door.

Ryo quickly unlocked the door and ran into the living room of his temporary apartment quickly looking around for his parents, or more importantly, Juri. "Mom! Dad! Juri! I'm home!" he yelled. "Where are you guys?"

"In here dear," His foster mother, Yuko, called out, "in the bedroom." Ryo walked into the master bedroom, where she saw his foster mother and Juri sitting on the bed. In front of them was a wooden crib. Stained a dark brown, it had intricate patterns of leaves carved into its sides.

"Whoa, who made this?" Ryo walked up to the crib and stroked its smooth bars.

"Your mom and dad did." Juri said, "It's beautiful."

"Yep, it took your dad and me all day to create," Yuko proudly said, "I hope you like it."

"Its great mom, thank you." Ryo said, still checking out the fine parts of the crib.

"Your welcome dear," Yuko got up and hugged her adopted son, "it was really your fathers' idea, since we didn't know what to get the baby."

"If you don't mind, Mrs. Akiyama," Juri got up, "May I speak with Ryo alone?" Yuko nodded her head and exited the room. "Ryo, I've been thinking. Maybe we should talk to my father."

"But my dad already tried…" Ryo started.

"I said us," Juri said, "I don't think he will accept you unless you look him face-to-face, eye-to-eye. If I know him, that's the ONLY way he will crack."

"What if…?" Ryo started, but Juri shushed him again.

"What if," Juri quietly said, "we'll never know? We have to try."

Ryo sighed, "Alright, we'll go. I'll go, not just for him to accept me, but so he can accept our baby." Ryo hugged his girlfriend and kissed her. She accepted the kiss. They broke it off for a moment and looked down at the crib, "Imagine, our baby lying there, peacefully sleeping."

"Yes, little Keishinko-chan," Juri smiled up at Ryo, "our baby."

Pharaoh Anubimon sat quietly in his large throne shrouded in silence. He seemed to be sitting there, but in reality, he was having a conversation.

"Why do you do this?"

It is because I can, and why the hell do you keep asking me that?

"Look, don't hurt Rena. I don't care what ever else you want to do, but just don't hurt Rena. She's pregnant!"

Oh, is that so? Think about what you're saying for a moment, Anubimon. Whose child is that?

"It's Rena's child."

No! It is Rena's and that boy's child, not YOUR child! You lost her to that blue-haired boy. Now, what are you going to do about that?

"I don't care if she loves me or not, just don't hurt her, like you did last night, damn it!"

I was doing what will protect us both. I am the only clear-headed one; you are corrupt with this love. I can't believe that you have this power and you don't even want to use it!

"You hated digimon! Why did you Matrix Evolve with me then!"

I was dying. I knew I needed power, even if it meant fusing with a low-life organism like you digimon. Get used to it.

"Get out of my body!" Pharaoh Anubimon yelled as he got up from his chair and grabbed his head. "God Damn it! I never wanted you in the first place, even if it meant more power!"

Relax! You're stuck with me! You can't do shit about it!

"I swear I will get you out of my body," the Anubimon side of Pharaoh Anubimon muttered, "If it's the last thing I do."

You can try. However, before you do, I have a little score to settle with those annoying Tamers and their pet digimon, and you are going to help me accomplish this task, whether you want to or not.

Kenshin brought the two teens to the Katou bar, where it was about closing time. It was the perfect time for the two to try to reason with the disagreeing father. Juri looked at Ryo, and Ryo looked at Juri, they took each other's hand and walked into the pub. Inside, the stools were already stacked and the floor already swept. Tadashi stood at the bar counter, polishing it before he closed shop. "We're closed." He called out when he heard the doors open, but when he looked over; he immediately put down his polishing rag. He stared at the couple, more specifically Ryo.

"Dad," Juri stepped forward, "We need to talk to you about something."

Tadashi sighed, "Look, I've gone through this many times, and I'm staying with my decision."

"Mr. Katou," Ryo broke in, "I know that you don't like me. I don't care if you like me or not, but please, accept the fact that Juri is having this baby. I know it will be hard, but think about this for a moment."

Tadashi rested his palms on the wooden counter and stared a hole right through Ryo. He stayed silent for a moment, then spoke, "Ryo, let me speak with you privately."

Ryo nodded, and motioned for Juri to wait outside with his foster father. Juri left and Ryo looked back at Tadashi, "Yes, Mr. Katou?"

"Take a seat," Tadashi offered him a bar stool, "You're right about a lot of things. I don't like you." Ryo looked down for a moment, "However, from what you just told me, I see that you will love this child very much."

"I will." Ryo interrupted.

"Don't interrupt; you'll make me dislike you more than I do already." Tadashi said, "I know I can't stop Juri from loving you or whatever, and I know it'll be even harder to try to convince her to try to have an abortion. I hate the damn fact that my baby girl is growing up this fast. I couldn't get any sleep for the past few days since she broke the news to me, and I know this will be the best." Tadashi looked Ryo eye-to-eye, "Now you promise me Ryo, you will never, ever hurt my Juri as long as I live, as long as you live, or as long as Juri lives. You promise me that you will take care of this baby and take full responsibility of this child even if it makes you insane. Promise me Ryo, that no matter how poor you are doing, you keep that baby or Juri from going hungry. You will promise me that you will keep my baby girl happy. Now promise those things."

"I promise you those things, Mr. Katou," Ryo promised, "I would never hurt Juri or the baby in any way no matter what the reason."

Tadashi sighed again, "I hate these things. Okay, you and Juri have my full acceptance." Ryo smiled, "but this doesn't mean I like you or anything." Tadashi said. "I will do you this, though; you have to work this bar to keep all the funding up for this baby. Got it?"

"Yes, sir," Ryo said, a little more relieved now, "I will."

"Good," Tadashi stood up straight. Juri ran into the bar and hugged her father.

"Thank you dad," Juri was now in tears, "thank you."

Tadashi was speechless for a moment, and then broke and smiled. He hugged his daughter back, "Your welcome, sweetie." They broke the hug, "Now your mother has been worried sick about you, and even your brother. Now that we finally have everything straightened out, why don't you and Ryo come home and eat dinner. Ryo, tell your parents they are invited too. I must apologize to your father."

"Alright," Ryo said, smiling. `We finally did it. We're finally out in the open and accepted.'

Shibumi ran as fast as he could in the Digital World. `At this rate, I'll never find them in time!' He thought and he pulled out his laptop computer and started typing in some kind of code. He stopped in place, and in front of him appeared a motorcycle, similar to Beelzebumon's Behemoth. "Now this is what I'm talking about!" He hopped on, "now back to business." He rode off to find the group of Tamers.

---

It was night in the Digital World, and the group gathered around a fire. Sagittarimon and Puttimon stood in front of the Tamers, explaining what they must do next, "Our true master is kinder than the beast you saw last night. He has a code of honor and would never hurt a lady." Puttimon nodded, "We must get the true master back!"

"I know, but Renamon can't fight when she's pregnant," Ruki said, "and even if she could, he's one powerful bastard."

"I and Terriermon will fight him," Jenrya said, "I don't care how powerful he is."

"No," Janyuu stepped in, "we can't risk getting the father of the baby killed before the baby is born."

"What choice do we have?" Jenrya said, "Besides, I think I can handle that bastard. And I have a score to settle with him after what he did to Renamon."

"Momentai!" Terriermon chirped, "Me and Jen are more than powerful enough to beat that insane bozo."

"But we need more than just you two and his loyalist," Ruki said, "I wish Takato was here to help us fight."

"Too much time to get him," Jenrya said. Suddenly, he just realized something, "Renamon will be giving birth in about 2 days." The group nodded. "Do you think we can wait two days?"

"I think we can, but I don't think HE can," Ruki said, "he'll be looking for us before the two days."

"But, what are we going to do?" Jenrya asked, "I just can't let him slide."

"You'll have to until Renamon gives birth and is healthy enough to fight again." Janyuu said. The group fell into silence, soon broken by the roars and revs of a motorcycle, "What in the world is that?" Janyuu turned around, and saw that it was Shibumi standing there by a black motorcycle.

"Hey, I found you guys!" Shibumi exclaimed.

"Shibumi," Janyuu smirked as he got up and greeted his programmer friend, "What's up? I mean I know you didn't venture into the Digital World just for scenery."

"Tao, I must talk to you privately for a moment." Shibumi wasted no time. He pulled Janyuu off to the side.

---

Meanwhile, Renamon pulled Jenrya off to the side as well.

"Jenrya," Renamon looked up to the giant sphere in the Digital Sky, "I know that I am pregnant, but we must get rid of this threat once and for all."

"You can't," Jenrya said, "You're pregnant, and besides all of us don't want you to fight in your state right now. I and Terriermon will take care of everything."

"I can't let him go unpunished after what that bastard did to me," Renamon clenched her fist, "He hit me and put our baby in danger. I must fight him." She was about to go off, but Jenrya grabbed her.

"Renamon, I know that he might have hurt you, but you must think," Jenrya said, "we can't put the baby in danger, that's probably what he wants. We'll try to avoid him at all stakes, but if it comes to it, I'll fight him, not you."

Renamon eased down, looked at the ground, and then looked back at Jenrya and nodded. Lee smiled and hugged her, then kissed her.

---

"Tao, we got a major problem on our hands." Shibumi told Jenrya's father.

"Yeah, we got an insane digimon after Jenrya and Renamon's head." Janyuu said.

"Not that," Shibumi pulled out his laptop again and started to type quickly, "Look at this."

Janyuu kneeled down and saw the numbers on the computer. He studied it for a moment, and then looked back at Shibumi, who was looking at him, "There's got to be some kind of miscalculation somewhere in that percentage…"

"I triple-checked all the calculations," Shibumi said, "We need to do something about this. The problem is that I don't know what. 96 percent is a high percentage, and if we don't find something quick, Renamon and Jenrya's baby will be another casualty to that percent."

"Well, we have to find something or…" Janyuu said.

"The baby will die." Shibumi finished Janyuu's sentence.

"I can't tell them this," Janyuu shook his head, "they can't know."

"So you're going to let the baby die?" Shibumi asked.

"I said I wasn't going to tell them," Janyuu said, "I never said I'll find a way to save it."

"We'll we better find one soon," Shibumi looked through his computer, "According to my computer, birth is scheduled in 48 hours."

Janyuu sighed, "Lets get to work. Hopefully that Pharaoh Anubimon doesn't find us or them…"

Have you decided on what we're going to do?

"I don't want to be part of your sick plans." Anubimon said to the voice.

Fine, I hope you don't mind if I take borrow your body then!

"Damn it, stay away from…Rena! Or I'll…I'll…" He said before he could finish, as his alter ego took over, "You'll what Anubimon?" He started laughing evilly, "Now the countdown begins, before death!"
