Chapter 2: What's a Neo? Part 2

"What's a Neo?" Kari asked after a short period of silence. "Well I think that is what attacked Ryoushi." Gennai said to her not looking up from the ground. "But how?" Ryoushi asked looking over to Gennai. "Do you know what Neo's are?" Izzy asked Ryoushi. "Well yes, I've never really seen one, but I've read about them." Ryoushi said to him. "They are a type of Digimon." Gennai said to the group. "What do you mean type of Digimon, like Mega or something?" Tai asked Gennai. "Or something." Ryoushi said under his breath, but loud enough for the others to hear. "What was that?" Tai asked looking at Ryoushi through the corners of his eyes. "A Neo is something beyond a Mega." Ryoushi said looking up at Tai. "You mean like your Mega Armor or Overdrive?" TK asked. "No, what I mean is a Neo is something that is evolved beyond that of just a Digimon." Ryoushi said. "I see." Izzy said nodding. "No you don't." Ryoushi said standing and walking to one of the windows. "What?" Izzy said looking over at him. "Neo's were wiped off the face of the planet long before we were born." Ryoushi said turning back to Gennai. "I think there were some lies along the way." Ryoushi said walking over the Gennai, who was still looking at the ground. "You could say that." Gennai said now also standing and meeting Ryoushi's glare with one of his own. "They don't seem to get along." Matt whispered to Izzy who nodded. "What Ryoushi said was correct." Gennai said finally looking away from Ryoushi. "So you lied to him." Tai said. "They were not wiped out, that would be imposable." Gennai said, turning from the group. "All Digimon can go Neo, its part of what they are." He finished. "Then why haven't I seen one?" Ryoushi asked. "A long time ago Neo's were living along with other Digimon and Humans, but Neo's are naturally more aggressive then other Digimon, and a lot more powerful." Gennai said. "How powerful are we talking?" Ryoushi asked. Gennai didn't say anything; he just looked away from the group. "I would take around 10 Overdrive Digimon to beat the weakest Neo." Gennai finally said shaking his head side to side. The other Digidestined seemed a little worried, but they didn't get how strong that was. "My fucking god." Ryoushi whispered but Kari, who was sitting next to him, heard the comment. "Ryoushi what's wrong?" She asked as Ryoushi just shock his head a lost look on it. "Don't you all get it?" Ryoushi asked turning to them, the others just looked confused. "One Overdrive Digimon could take your whole team out." Ryoushi said looking at them. "I don't think there are 10 Overdrive Digimon's, that one Digimon could kill every living thing in the Digital World." Ryoushi said looking at the ground. "WHAT!" Tai yelled looking over to Gennai who just nodded his head. "How are we going to beat this thing?" TK asked. A silence filled the room. Ryoushi had picked himself up and walked over to Gennai, and said something into his ear, Gennai soon nodded. "You all go home." Gennai said turning to the group. "What, but we need to help you." TK yelled. "I only need two." Ryoushi said looking around the room. "Why?" Kari asked. "That Digimon stole something very imported, we need them back?" Ryoushi said. "Then why only two?" Tai asked raising one eye brow. "We are not going to fight, stealth is very imported." Ryoushi said and then pointed to TK and Sora. "You two will come with me." He said and then turned to Gennai. "That's all I need, and two or three days." He said. "Wait hold on." Tai yelled Ryoushi turned back to them. "Why are they going?" Tai asked pointing to the pair. Ryoushi just looked at him for a second. "Why you want to go?" Ryoushi asked slightly grinning. "Well yeah, if there was a fight, don't you think you'll need all the help you can get?" Tai asked. Ryoushi's grin got bigger, "Why do you think I'm taking, TK and Sora?" Ryoushi asked. Tai looked confused for a second then said. "What makes you think they are the strongest?" Ryoushi looked at the two. "One, they work well together." Ryoushi said. "How could you know that?" Tai asked back. Ryoushi frowned. "Two, you can't go Overdrive or Mega Armor they can." Pointing back at Sora and TK who were now behind him. "What do you mean?" Tai asked. "Nether of them can go Mega." Tai said smiling. Ryoushi raised a brow and looked at Sora, who just shook her head, then to TK who just shrugged his shoulders. "Well." Tai asked still smiling. "You're wrong." Ryoushi said smiling at Tai. "What." All the Digidestined yelled. "TK I don't know about, but I can feel it in him, and Sora I know can go Mega." Ryoushi said turning to Sora. "Well." Ryoushi said leaning toured her. Sora looked at her feet and shifted from one foot to the other, and then Tai yelled. "What's he taking about?" Sora looked up finally and then looked to Biyomon. "Well." She said to her partner. "Ok let's go outside." Biyomon said turning and walking out the door, soon followed by the others except for Gennai who sat down.

Once outside the others waited and Ryoushi, Sora, and TK walked a little away. "Can you really go Mega?" TK asked Sora, Sora looked at him and smiled. "You'll see, hey Ryoushi can TK go Mega?" Sora asked, Ryoushi looked at TK and smiled. "Oh yeah, and I would hate to be his opponent when he dose." Ryoushi said stopped. "What's that mean?" TK asked. "I tell you later." Ryoushi said and turned to the others. "Ok Sora, show them." Sora nodded and looked down at Biyomon. "Ready?" Sora asked. "Yeah but it's been a while." Biyomon said flapping her wings, and went into the air. Sora smiled and nodded, and then she looked down at her Digivice. "Ok I can do this." She said to herself, but both TK and Ryoushi heard. "Warp Digivolve." She shouted and held out her Digivice, which was really a D-3. "What?" TK shouted, the only Digidestined besides Ryoushi close enough to see it.

Biyomon warp Digivolve to. Phoenixmon!

Biyomon's body exploded into a large bird type Digimon which covered the sky, its large red wings and head with beck making up most of its body, from their place on the ground, it looked a lot like WarDragonmon only covered with feathers and red rather then grayish, and its feet were large talons. "Say hello." Sora shouted over to the other Digidestined. "What in the world? Matt said under his breath. "How did this happen?" Tai asked as Sora, TK, and Ryoushi walked up. "I don't know, but I didn't have to get shot with an arrow of light that's for sure." Sora said laughing; Ryoushi was also chuckling with his mouth closed. The Digidestined were speechless, Sora had always been one of the more powerful Digidestined, but for her to go Mega, and they not even know was, well it had more of an affect on some. "You know about this?" Tai asked Ryoushi looking at him with narrowed eyes. "Well yeah, I was there when is happened." Ryoushi said looked at Tai. "When?" TK asked. "Well." Sora looked reluctant to tell. "It happened a little over two years ago." Ryoushi said hitting TK on the shoulder. "Come, let's go." Ryoushi said pulling TK away from the group. "Sora you can go home for a few days, I need to talk to TK." Ryoushi yelled over his shoulder as Dragonmon and Patamon caught up with them. "Wonder what that's all about?" Matt said and started back to the computer in Gennai's house. Sora smiled then fallowed Matt, soon the others joined them.

"So." TK looked around; he could remember being here before, but not the reason. "This is where we will start your training." Ryoushi said waving his hands in the direction of the big coliseum. "Have I been here before?" TK asked looking up the long stair way leading to the coliseum. "Well I would hope so." Ryoushi said looking over at TK. "This is where all the best come to train, or get good." He finished. "Have you been here?" TK asked. "I was here three years of my life." Ryoushi said smiling. "Why so long?" TK asked as they started up the stairs. "To get good, why?" Ryoushi asked back. "Just wondering." TK said turning back to the stairs. "Have you heard of Pixiemon?" Ryoushi asked. TK's head shot up. "That's were I remember this place." He shouted. "Pixiemon had us here for two days cleaning the place up." TK said looking over at Ryoushi who was smiling and shaking his head. "That's just like the old pink ball." Ryoushi said and put his arm around TK's shoulders. "He'll be surprised to see you." Ryoushi said laughing as they continued up the stairs. When they finally reached the top Pixiemon was there waiting for them. "Ryoushi is that you!" Pixiemon yelled as he flew over to the two. "Hello master." Ryoushi said bowing slightly. "No need for that Ryoushi, you haven't been my pupil for a long time." Pixiemon said waving the comment off, then turning to TK. "And who is this?" He asked. "Come now, you don't remember the Digidestined of Hope?" Ryoushi asked smiling at Pixiemon. Pixiemon looked TK up and down. "Well now boy, you have grown, last time you were here I was helping that pig headed leader of yours Tai, you were just a boy, and how are you Patamon?" Pixiemon said looking down at the winged pig Digimon. "Fine." Patamon said up to the trainer of Digimon, and apparently their partners. "Pixiemon." Ryoushi said drawing the Digimon's attention. "Yes Ryoushi?" Pixiemon asked. "I'd like TK here to be put under some training." Ryoushi said gesturing to TK. "What kind of training?" Pixiemon asked. "Well, to start Mega, Mega Armor, and Overdrive." Ryoushi said, Pixiemon looked to TK. "He has the power, and by the way his face is he has the determination." Pixiemon said smiling. "Ryoushi what else?" He finished. "Well." Ryoushi trailed off. "Just spit it out." Pixiemon yelled. "I would like it if we trained him in the Eastern style." Ryoushi said looking to the side. Pixiemon smiled, "So that's way you brought him here." Pixiemon said smiling. "Uh. Excuse me." TK said holding up his hand, Ryoushi and Pixiemon looked at him. "Yes TK?" Ryoushi asked. "What's the Eastern Style?" TK asked; Ryoushi just smiled.

Kari and Tai were walking home from school the next day. "TK wasn't in class today." Kari said looking over at her brother. "Yeah, Matt told me, I wonder how his doing." Tai said looking up at the sky. "Are you still mad at Sora?" Kari asked sadly. "Well, I wasn't really mad, just shocked that she didn't tell us she could do that." Tai said looking back at the street in front of them. "You know, I was thinking today," Tai said when Kari started giggling, "You were thinking?" She said sarcastically. "No seriously," Tai said worry in his voice, Kari looked at her brother. "Time in the Digital World passes differently then here, there it's been more then a day, I hope that thing didn't attack TK and the Ryoushi guy." Tai said stopping. Kari looked at the ground, the idea of two of her friends being dead at the moment was a very sad one but she known that they were alive. "Don't worry their okay." A voice said from behind them. Tai and Sora turned to see Sora running up to them, in her arms were Dragonmon and Patamon. "What are you two doing here?" Kari asked. "Pixiemon said it was ok for us to come back now." Patamon said, Dragonmon nodding. "Pixiemon, the same guy who got me and Agumon to Digivolve again?" Tai asked. "The same." Dragonmon said looking to Kari. "Ryoushi wanted to know if it would be alright for me to stay with you, if not I can go elsewhere." Dragonmon said to Kari. "No its alright, you can stay till Ryoushi and TK get back, how long will they be, maybe two minutes." Kari asked. "More like one more day." Dragonmon said. "What do they have to do if you guys are here?" Tai asked, Kari and Sora both seemed to won't the answer. "TK and Ryoushi said not to tell." Patamon said. Just then Gatomon jumped down from the tree next to them. "Patamon, what happened to your voice?" The cat Digimon asked. "What?" Dragonmon and Patamon both asked both looking a little worried, but the damage had been done, all the ones present now heard the change in his voice. "Sounds deeper." Sora said looking at the Digimon in her arms. "Well." Patamon started. "He's older." Dragonmon said. Patamon looked at the other Digimon in Sora's arms. "Hey, I wanted to tell them." Patamon yelled at his friend as Dragonmon laughed. "Older, but how?" Gatomon asked, "Even in the Digital World time doesn't past that much, a Digimon shouldn't be affected that much." Gatomon finished. Patamon looked to Dragonmon, who shrugged as much as he could. "It was the room we we're in, it did something weird to the time." Patamon said. "What about TK?" Kari asked. "He will look older as well." Dragonmon said, "Maybe be a year or two, I can't tell, he's human." Dragonmon said looking over to the cat Digimon that fail from the tree. "This could be a problem." Tai said to the others. "Maybe." Sora said looking to the sky. "What do you mean?" Kari asked. "So what, he looks older, we don't have to explain anything." Sora said smiling then gave Dragonmon to Kari, "Take good care of him, he eats a lot." Sora said laughing then ran off trued her house. "I do not." Dragonmon yelled after her, some people looked over at the yelling toy wide eyed. "Let's go." Tai said and he and Kari ran off.

"Damn, you're heavy." Kari said dropping Dragonmon on the ground once home `How could Sora carry him and Patamon so easily' Kari thought. "That hurt you know." Dragonmon said looking up at Kari, who was now laughing. "Come on, I'll show you to my room." Kari said walking away with Dragonmon and Gatomon in tow behind her. "So what do you think?" Kari asked once inside her room. "Got nothing to compare it to." Dragonmon said and walking to the corner and laid down. "You know for someone who is so strong you seem kind of lazy." Gatomon said smiling. Dragonmon looked at her without lifting his head. "Yeah, well, try to remember the other day I was pretty close to death, I think I've earned my rest." Dragonmon said back in an almost cold voice, Gatomon was taken aback by the comment, she was after all just joking. "Well yeah, I'm sorry, but it was just a joke." Gatomon said walking over and sitting next to the other Digimon. Dragonmon looked at Gatomon, smiled then said. "Cat." Gatomon looked over at him. "What was that?" She asked. "You're a cat type Digimon, so I'm going to call you Cat." Dragonmon said simply. "No your not." Gatomon said back. "Yes I am, Cat." Dragonmon said again and looked over at her, she glared at him. Dragonmon suddenly started laughing. "What's so funny?" Gatomon asked angrily. "You're pretty cute when you're angry." Dragonmon said then got up to leave. Gatomon just sat there blushing.

Sora and Patamon had just reached TK's home, when Biyomon flew down and landed on Sora's shoulder. "Hey there Patamon." She said to the Digimon. "Hello." Patamon said up to her. "Hey your voice." Biyomon started. "Yeah we know." Sora interrupted knocking on the door. "Hello?" Ms. Takaishi answered. "Oh, hello Sora, how are you?" She asked looking at the younger women, and then saw the Digimon in her arms. "Hello Patamon." She said stepping aside, "Please come in, but I most ask, when is my son." Ms. Takaishi voice had a little worry in it. "No need to worry about him, his in good hands in the Digital World." Sora said following the older women inside. "Would you like so tea?" Ms. Takaishi asked from the kitchen. "Thank you Ms. Takaishi." Sora called in. Ms. Takaishi walked back in to the living room with two cups of tea, Biyomon and Patamon had gone to TK's room for seemingly no reason. "What have I told you about calling me that?" Ms. Takaishi asked sweetly. "Oh my sorry Nancy, I just forget sometimes." Sora said smiling as she sipped her tea. "So Sora dear, what brings you here?" Nancy asked. "Well your son." Sora asked setting down her cup. "What about him?" Nancy asked worry once again in her voice. "There is nothing wrong, it's just that he may look a little different next time you see him." Sora said. "What do you mean?" Nancy asked the worry gone, replaced with confusion. "Well, he is older then you remember, by maybe one or two years." Sora said, not sure how the women would handle it. Nancy though about this for a moment, then said, "Is that all?" "I think he may look stronger to." Sora said smiling; she seemed to be taking the news well. "Oh that's good, how much stronger you think?" Nancy asked now very interested. Sora thought for a moment then said, "I'm not sure, but most likely a lot stronger." "Oh this is so exciting." Nancy said smiling widely. Sora just looked on as the women went on about how she couldn't wait to see her strong manly son.

"Well I think you did a good job." Ryoushi said slapping the now taller older looking TK. "Thanks, but it helps having the best as a teacher." TK said slapping Ryoushi's back. The two looked at each other, now the same height. "Will you two be joining the Eastern side at the tournament?" Gennai asked as they stepped out of the coliseum. "Gennai what are you doing here?" TK asked the now shorter man. "Like I said, will you be joining the tournament?" He asked smiling. "What's it being held for?" Ryoushi asked. "To see who will deal with the Neo's." Gennai said looking over at the seemingly unchanged Ryoushi. "Well then yes, right partner?" Ryoushi said to TK. "Hell yeah, I want a shot at that guy, but what is this tournament you all are talking about?" TK asked looking from one to the other. "It's a fighting tournament held to decide which of the four directions of the Digital World will either help with or deal with a problem presented to the Digital World." Gennai said to TK. "It's called the Shadow Games, thou I have no idea why, it sounds like we're doing something evil." Ryoushi said shrugging his shoulders. "So it's a Digimon fighting tournament?" TK asked. "No, the fighters will be the members of the Four Directions." Ryoushi said looking at TK, "Which you are now apart of the Eastern Style." He finished. "What do you mean by Four Directions?" TK asked them. "The Four Directions are the names given to the separate parts of the Digital World, North, South, East, and West, each were represented by a fighting style and one of four Digimon Gods, but now only one remains." Gennai said sadly. "Azulongmon?" TK asked. "Yeah, big A's the only god left, and lucky us, he's the god of the East." Ryoushi said smiling. "Yeah I meet him once or twice, can't be to sure on that." TK said smiling rubbing the back of his head. "Well now that the little history lesson is do, what do you say? Will I be seeing you in the ring?" Ryoushi asked TK who smiled back. "You know it." He said. "Oh good, so you both will be there?" Gennai asked. "Hell yeah and thanks to Ryoushi, I know we will win." TK said raising a fist into the air. "I don't know the North has some pretty good fighters." Ryoushi said looking back at Pixiemon's "house". "Hate to say it, but we got to go." Ryoushi said turning to TK. "Yeah ok." TK replied. "See you later old man." Ryoushi said and walked pasted Gennai. "Yeah see you Gennai." TK said waving and ran to meet Ryoushi.

The next day after school the Digidestined meet in the computer lab at school. "Did any one tell any of the new Digidestined?" Tai asked all the Digidestined shook their heads. "Good, I don't think they would like it if just we were called and not them." Tai said smiling. "But we may need there help." Izzy pointed out. "I don't think so." A voice called in from the door way, the Digidestined turned to the door to see TK and Ryoushi standing there, TK looking very different, and Ryoushi looking like Ryoushi, but their outfits were different, Ryoushi was wearing a pair of long black pants with large boots on, his upper body was covered with a brownish black trench coat that was buttoned up and hands were covered by what looked like biker gloves cut off half way down the fingers, his hair was now combed down and covered his eye brows and forehead. TK was now wearing a simple pair and jeans and a white shirt that was torn around the end of his sleeves. TK's body had also changed he was about as tall as Ryoushi and he now looked more strong, but his muscles were still more sharp looking then large. "Hey TK, Ryoushi nice change." Sora yelled to them as they walked in. "You like it?" TK asked smiling at her, she only nodded. "Can't wait till your mother sees you, she's been going on about how see can't wait to see you all manly and strong." Sora said smiling at TK, who to her surprise didn't blush, just shook his head. "Told you." TK said to Ryoushi who grumbling under his breath and pulled out some funny looking paper and handed it to TK. "What's that?" Matt asked. "This?" TK asked holding up the paper. "Money, from the Digital World." TK said smirking at Ryoushi. "Ryoushi lost our bet." TK said Ryoushi just looked away still grumbling about TK and the ass of a Digimon. "Anyway, what were you talking about?" TK asked Tai. "The new Digidestined, Davis, Yolei, Ken, Cody." Tai said waving his hand in the air as if to dismiss the topic. "Who?" Ryoushi asked. The Digidestined all looked at him. "I thought you know all about the Digidestined?" Joe asked. "I do know about you, now who are these other people you are talking about?" Ryoushi said slightly annoyed. "The people who fought the Digimon Emperor." Kari said. "Oh, but they were weak side people that Azulongmon called in when he didn't want to bother you all." Ryoushi said waving his hand in the same way as Tai did earlier. The Digidestined all looked at him oddly. "What, you didn't know you could take their Digi-armor anytime you wanted." Ryoushi looked at the shocked faces, well beside Sora's, who seemed to already know this. "What?" Tai yelled. "You mean Davis is no longer a Digidestined?" Kari yelled a little too happy. "Hey I want a Digi-armor." Matt yelled. "Ok." Ryoushi looking on as the Digidestined all found this new news. "I thought you all know, oh well." Ryoushi just shrugged his shoulders.

"A tournament?" Tai asked as Ryoushi and TK told them what Gennai told them. "That's right." Ryoushi said nodding. "What kind of tournament?" Kari asked. "Well a fighting one of course." Ryoushi said. "A Digimon fighting tournament, ok." Tai said holding his chin. "No." Ryoushi said to Tai. "What do you mean no?" Tai asked. "It's a human fighting tournament." Ryoushi corrected. "Humans?" Kari asked confused. "Yeah, like two people in the ring beating on each other." TK said punching the air next to him. "Why?" Tai asked Ryoushi just shrugged. "Hell if I know, has a stupid name too." He said turning to TK. "We'll have to go see the old man to see where we sign up." TK nodded. "TK you're fighting?" Sora asked worry in her voice a scared look on her face. "Yeah don't worry I'll be fine." TK said patting her on the back. Sora glared at Ryoushi, who surprisingly looked away slightly scared. "Sora really it will be alright." TK said smiling. "TK you don't know how strong these people are." Sora said. "And you do?" Tai asked suddenly very interested in the conversation. Sora looked back at him frowning and shut up. Ryoushi smiled and looked to Sora. "Hey, you guys want to see me and TK fight?" Ryoushi asked smiling over to TK who smiled back. "Yeah that would be cool." Matt said getting up. "Don't even bother getting up." Ryoushi said and activated the warp to the Digital World.

Once there, they found themselves in the middle of a badland type area, rock and dust covered the area for miles and the Digidestined sat in a group with Ryoushi and TK standing off a ways away. "Any time your ready TK." Ryoushi yelled to TK as TK took a fighters stance. "I hope your ready to loss, because I'm not holding back." Ryoushi said smiling, TK nodded and started to run forward. `Let's go.' TK thought as he closed in a Ryoushi.

The Digidestined watched as TK ran at Ryoushi. "I hope TK knows what his doing." Matt said. "Me and you both Matt, me and you both." Sora said as the two fighters meet.

Ryoushi watched as TK ran at him, `Not fast enough TK.' Ryoushi thought as TK punched. TK watched as his fist pass through Ryoushi. `After image!" TK thought but to late as he felt Ryoushi's leg smash into his side sending him through the air and landed on his back. "Very good TK, but your attack was to slow, and you broadcasted your moves to early." Ryoushi said smiling. TK scowled hitting the ground causing the ground to crack open the force sending his into a standing position. "OK let's try that again." TK said smiling his hands glowing blue.

Tai blinked, "What just happened?" Tai asked confused. "I have no idea." Matt said shrugging his shoulders. Sora's narrowed her eyes looking at TK, `Ryoushi how could you teach TK that?' Sora thought seeing TK's hands begin to glow blue.

"Already pulling out the energy techniques?" Ryoushi asked smiling. "I thought I'd give them a show." TK said as his arms burst into blue flames that focused into ball in each hand. "Hope you like this Ryoushi." TK yelled throwing one of the blue orbs at Ryoushi.

"What's that?" Izzy asked seeing the blue ball launch out of TK's hand. "No idea." Tai said. "Energy." Sora said the others looked at the in shock.

Ryoushi sidestepped the ball allowing it to past his harmlessly. The other soon found its self-going Ryoushi's way. `Let's get serious.' Ryoushi thought as he summoned his own energy chousing a vortex of wind to spin around him. "Vortex Barrier." Ryoushi yelled as the ball hit the wall of air chousing it to explode and spin around him harmlessly. "If it's a battle of energy I got you beat." Ryoushi said smiling at an angry TK.

"Did he just use a Digimon attack?" Matt asked. "Something like that." Sora said watching the fight closely now. "Something like that." Tai asked raising a brow. "Just watch and learn." Sora said pointing to the glowing Ryoushi.

"Just remember you started it." Ryoushi said as his whole body was engulfed with purple flames. `Great, now I've done it.' TK thought oddly smiling and a powered up Ryoushi launched at him. TK responded by jumping into the air powering up as well. "You want a real fight hey you go!" TK yelled and started to launch balls of energy at Ryoushi. Ryoushi's body disappeared as the balls passed. "Where'd he go?" TK said out loud looking around as his body fail to earth. "There!" TK yelled turning in mid-air and shooting a ball were Ryoushi had appeared behind him. "Too slow TK." Ryoushi said as he dodged to the side and run at TK with great speed closing the distances a little to fast to TK. `Damn.' TK thought as Ryoushi's fist made contact with his stomach sending him through the air only to be caught by Ryoushi who graded him by the feet and spin him around in a diagonal way causing him to hit the ground hard. Ryoushi's foot soon found its way into his side sending him into the air and down again in a heap of pain, blood running from his mouth. "Damn Ryoushi." TK said to the spot were Ryoushi had been. "Damn." TK yelled bring his arm up and blocking Ryoushi's incoming fist, then another, and another, till TK jumped back putting a good five yards between them, TK's breaths came in short fast spurts, Ryoushi looked on unaffected. `Damn.' TK thought getting back into a fighter stance.

"Damn that's harsh." Matt said seeing his little brother fly from one side of the battleground to the other. "How are they using Digimon attacks?" Kari asked. "Ryoushi will explain." Sora said smiling at the younger women. "I don't like this." Tai said watching as Ryoushi and TK meet again in the meet, TK doing much better this time, but still obviously losing. "Don't worry Tai, it's fine." Sora said watching as well. "Ryoushi is holding way back, TK is his student after all." Sora said standing. "But if you wont it to end, I can do that for you." She said looking down at Tai. "Would you please?" Tai asked wondering how Sora could stop the two mad men who were now just blurs racing around the ground. Sora smiled and walked away from the ground.

"Very good TK, you're getting better as we fight." Ryoushi said as he and TK continued to fight. "Yeah, that's good, I need to get better for the tournament." TK said smiling. "This fight is almost over thou." Ryoushi said smiling. "What, why?" TK asked thinking Ryoushi was making fun of him. "There is a strong power coming for us." Ryoushi said continuing to dodge punches. "Yeah I can feel it now to, it seems familiar to." TK said wondering who it could be. "That's enough boys." a female voice said as a pair of hands grabbed hold of one of each mans arm. "Red haired devil." Ryoushi said smiling. TK turned to find it was Sora holding them looking angry. "What was that Ryoushi?" She yelled. "Nothing, nothing" Ryoushi said as Sora let go of his and TK's arms "Sora?" TK asked shocked. "Close your mouth TK." Ryoushi said smiling the comment went unnoted. "Yeah I know, I should have told you I was a member of the Royal Guard." Sora said sadly. "The what?" Tai asked coming up behind them. Sora jumped slightly, "Now you've done it, you were told not to tell them." Ryoushi said shacking his head smiling. "Shut up." Sora said nastily causing Ryoushi to back away slightly. "Well, Sora what are you taking about, what's the Royal Guard?" Tai asked. "The Royal Guard is the group I told you about earlier, the one that helps you." Ryoushi pointed out, Sora nodding. "I see, but how did you end up as one of them?" TK asked. "Well remember when we were all separated?" Sora asked, all nodded. "Well it was around that time." Sora said looking from face to face. "Well you going to tell us the story or what?" Matt asked. "OK fine." Sora sighed then turned to Ryoushi. "Well go on, tell them." Sora said smiling. Ryoushi, who had not been paying attention looked at Sora and pointed at himself. "Me, Why should I tell them?" Ryoushi asked narrowing his eyes at Sora. "Because I'm forbidden, but you can." Sora said smiling sweetly at him. "I don't believe this, your going to push this all on me aren't you?" Ryoushi asked scowling at Sora who nodded happily. "I hate you." Ryoushi said I false anger. "I love you to." Sora said sarcastically. "Whatever, I'll do it but you owe me one." Ryoushi said scowling at Sora who just nodded. "Ok let's get on with this." Ryoushi said looking to the sky in a thoughtful manner. "Ok, it all started when you Digidestined were split up after Tai was pulled back into the real world after Etemon was defeated, Sora was the first to leave the group and somehow she wondered all the way up to the artic region of the Digital World, the only problem was she had no protection from the cold and would have died if not for me and Dragonmon." Ryoushi said to the group who all looked over at an embarrassed Sora who nodded. "Well anyway, as the story goes, I found Sora and Biyomon half died and took them with me, when se recovered she helped me to complete the mission I was on for the Royal Guard, after that she was trained in the eastern style and returned to the Digidestined but don't worry she couldn't go Mega yet, so she wasn't really holding back." Ryoushi said then turned from the group. "Well there you go, how Sora became a member." He said and started away then stopped and sat down with Dragonmon. "How could you not tell us?" Tai asked Sora still shocked. "I wasn't allowed." Sora said sadly in regret. "But still." Tai said but was interrupted. "Shut up Tai, she wasn't allowed and that's something we have to respect." TK said frowning at Tai then turned to Sora smiling. "So how strong are you?" He asked Sora who smiled at him. "Don't know, it's been awhile." Sora said. "Don't forget the lock." Ryoushi yelled from his spot on the ground. "The locks?" TK asked her. "Yeah, I had these locks put on my power because they were getting hard to control in the real world, and that would have been bad." Sora said scratching the back of her head smiling. Kari looked thoughtful for a moment then gasped. "I remember that." Kari said to her. Everyone looked at her oddly. "What?" Sora asked confused. "I remember the day you got back from vacation and tried out for the tennis team, you hit a ball and it not only exploded on impact but left cracks in the ground." Kari finished. Sora looked at her for a moment then said. "You were there?" "Yeah." Kari responded. "Well then you're right, after that I went back to the Digital World to get my powers locked." Sora said smiling. "Kari, why didn't you say something earlier?" Tai asked his sister. Kari looked confused for a moment then shrugged her shoulders. "Don't know." She said smiling. Ryoushi looked back at them smiling and shook his head sighing. `Their just plain weird.' He thought sub-consciously scratching Dragonmon's ears.

Izzy shook his head as his lab top started to beep. Looking down at it he opened it. "Hey guys." He called getting the attention of all but Ryoushi. "Message from Gennai, we got a problem." He said in a worried tone. "What's the problem?" Surprisingly Ryoushi asked. "Don't know, Gennai says to get to his place now." Izzy said looking of at the man. Ryoushi nodded. "Lets see what the old man wants." Ryoushi said looking to Dragonmon. "Digivolve." He said as the small Digimon started to glow.
