Main Couples: Mimi/Yamato, Jeri/Takato, Izumi/Kouji
Others: Taichi/Sora, Takeru/Hikari, Ken/Yolei some Ruki/Takato
Triangles: Ryo/Ruki/Jenrya, slight Kouji/Izumi/Takuya (well maybe, don't really know)
Notes: (1) None of the characters are going to be called their real names unless somebody is serious, any of the important Digimon like Ophanimon calls them that, or that I accidently slip up.
(2) I might not get them too much in character, especially Terriermon, but I will try.
Summery: Season2/3/4 X-over. Mimi disappears, and the others track her down to another digital world. They learn that two other girls are missing; girls named Jeri and Izumi. Later, three Digimon come and attack the group. Who are they? More importantly, why are they so familiar?

Battle 1: Anniversary Picnic And A Digimon Fight
RING RING RING!!!!
~Uh, stupid alarm clock~ groaned Mimi as she went to stop her alarm clock from ringing anymore. She yawned and stretched and went out of bed. She read what time it was and groaned again. " Only 7:20? Why did I need to wake up early on a Saturday?" Palmon, who was already awake, answered her question. "Don't you remember Mimi? Today's the Anniversary Picnic." Mimi gasped.
Of course the Anniversary Picnic!!!
"Oh my gosh the picnic! We're supposed to meet them at the soccer field by 8:00, and I'm still not ready yet! Palmon why didn't you wake me up!?" She asked as she turned to her turbo mode (if she has one) and speedily did all what she needed to do. "I tried too, but you wouldn't wake up. You slept like a log."*All the while, Palmon was sweatdropping*
She took 5 minutes to take a shower… (Putting on her soap and shampoo and rinsing them both at the same time. *a/n: I do that sometimes. It's a lot faster ^_^U*), took 3 minutes to dress herself and brush her hair…(she already picked her clothes last night), took 5 minutes to eat her breakfast (a piece of toast and orange juice, not eating too much because she IS after all going to a picnic), and 10 minutes to grab all the stuff she was planning to bring (was already prepared thanks to her mom *she was bringing her homemade sweets in a basket*)
After those were done with, she and Palmon bid both her parents goodbye. Both her parents didn't have anytime to respond back because she and Palmon were both out of the door and plain out of sight.
"Slow down Mimi, I'm barely keeping up!" Palmon said, getting exhausted. Mimi responded back.
"We can't slow down now Palmon, we're already late. Man, Davis's lateness is rubbing in on me." She looked on her watch and saw that it was already 8:05. ~Oh just great, we are already late~ "Time to pick up the pace Palmon, it's only 2 more blocks." While running down the sidewalk, fans of Mimi's and the others happened to see her. Their eyes glowed, couldn't really believing that she of all people were here. Literally one of them screamed out, "OH MY GOSH LOOK, IT'S MIMI TACHIKAWA AND PALMON!!!"
"What?" Mimi asked herself as she and Palmon stopped. When they looked at the group of people behind them, they both sweatdropped. "Uh oh Palmon, now it's really the time to go on turbo drive."
"I agree with you Mimi." They immediately fled from their spots and ran as fast as their legs can go.
*Soccer Field*
"Man, where are those two?" asked an agitated Tai. "They're late, really late."
"Aw come on Tai, they're only 5 minutes late. So please try to calm down," replied Sora. She received a low growl and an angry frown from him. She sighed.
"Seems Tai is a bit more grumpy then usual. I wonder why?" asked T.K. Kari giggled.
"It's nothing really, he just had a bad morning," she replied.
"How so?"
"Well, Agumon accidently popped that new soccer ball he bought with his allowance." Upon hearing that, Tai's growl deepened.
"And it took me two whole weeks of hard labor to earn enough for that soccer ball. I didn't even get to try it out." At that, Agumon bowed down his head in shame.
"I'm sorry Tai, I didn't mean too." Tai looked at his partner, and his eyes soften a bit.
"Don't worry about it Agumon, I'm not mad at you, just a bit upset. I'm more mad about the thought that Gatoman was the one who started it." Gatomon put up her hands in defense.
"Hey, you were the one who said that I could play with it as long as I was careful, and I was." Tai turned away.
"That's precisely the problem."
"So what you're saying is that who you're really angry at is yourself, since you let Gatomon play with the ball in the first place, right?" Matt responded and asked. Tai didn't bother to face him, for what he said was true. He just didn't want him to know that. Nor did he want to start a fight against him. He knew that if he did, it would be about over something stupid. Besides, he didn't want to have another lecture from Sora.
"Just shut your mouth Yamato." And that's just what Matt did, 'cause he knew that when he called him by his real name, Tai was serious. Everybody else did the same. Just then, their ears perked up to Sora's voice.
"Hey look, there they are," she said as she pointed to two running figures heading their way.
"About time," muttered Tai.
"What was that Taichi?" Sora emphasized the word 'Taichi' to show her seriousness.
"Nothing." She sighed and smacked him on the head, causing him to almost fall from the bench he was sitting on. The others, including Tai, sweatdropped.
"What was that for!?" he demanded.
"Please Taichi, lighten up," she said. He sighed.
"Fine." That's when Mimi and Palmon stopped and tried to catch their breaths.
"Mimi, you all right?" asked a worried Sora. The others were no better off themselves on worrying.
"Yeah *pant* just let me *pant* catch my *pant* my breath." Mimi responded. "Well alright."
"Looks like Davis's lateness is rubbing on ya huh Mimi?" Yolei asked.
"Hey I resent that!" protested Davis.
"But she's right you know." T.K. said. Davis glared at his best friend.
"Who asked you T.E?" he just shrugged, once again ignoring what Davis just called him.
"Nothing, just pointing out the obvious."
"Well no one said you should." Davis retorted back.
"I was only saying it on my own free will." T.K. said back calmly.
"You two please stop, especially you Davis okay?" Kari said. Even if Kari chose T.K over him, Davis still did what Kari asked him to do.
"Okay Kari, anything for you." T.K. just rolled his eyes. ~Same old Davis~
Palmon slumped down on one of the steps. "You ok?" asked Biyomon concerned. "Yeah, I'm alright Biyomon. It's just that it was kind of hard trying to keeping up with Mimi." Mimi looked at her partner.
"Well, trying to get away by a mob of fans sure didn't make it easier now didn't it?"
"I guess not. But I tell ya; the mobs keep getting rougher and rougher. I was glad that we lost them."
"You took the words right out of my mouth Palmon. At least these are okay," she said, referring to the basket of sweets she had.
"Here Meems, let me hold that for you." Only one person besides Palmon calls her that. Mimi smiled at Matt and happily handed it to him. "Thanks Matty-chan!" Matt blushed when she called him by her nickname for him. Some of the others smiled and giggled, while others like Tai, Davis, and Takeru snickered. He glared at them, which eventually made them stopped, except for the few smiles. Gabumon then went and smelled the basket.
"Mm, whatever is in here definitely smells good." The other Digimon smelled as well.
"Hey I smell cookies!" said Patamon.
"I smell cake!" answered Demiveemon.
"I smell chocolate!" Poromon piped up.
"Now you guys, they are for eating after lunch." Palmon said.
"Palmon's right. Now I want no one sneaking out some, or else they won't get anymore. Is that clear?" Mimi asked the group while her hands were on her hips.
"Yes ma'am," the others responded as they gave her a salute. She giggled at this but nodded. "Alright, what are we waiting for? Let's set up the picnic cloth over there under that tree we always use."
"'Kay!" They all said.
And the day dragged on by. As usual, the group spent a few minutes talking about stuff that were Digimon fight related, and like they always did, the girls left the guys to go shopping and to chitchat about girl related articles. As for the boys, Tai mentioned that the next tournament was in two weeks, and he wanted to have a few practice fights. Matt was his best opponent so he was the one who Digimon fought with him. The only rules were that they couldn't make their Digimon digivolve to 'Champion' or higher. It was fair, and as Agumon and Gabumon charged at each other, the fight begun. The other guys and Digimon were on the sidelines cheering the person they wanted to win.
"Common bro, for once in your life, beat Tai!" shouted T.K to his brother. Matt glared at his brother for that. True, Matt never won against Tai before. Tai proved he was the best out of both of them, when he fought him in the finals at the tournament that was held a half a year ago. Matt was a bit upset, but at least being second wasn't bad. That time, he vowed that one day, he would defeat Tai and claim his title as Champion. But now, it didn't really matter to him. All he wanted to gain from a fight was a good battle and to show to people that he was someone that was not to be messed with.
"Don't let him beat ya Tai, after all you are the Champ!" Davis yelled to Tai. Just like Matt glared at his brother, Tai glared at Davis. Both T.K and Davis shrunk back from both of the teens' glares and decided to just yell 'Go Tai!' or 'Go Matt!'. A group of Digimon teenage fans walked by and saw the fight. Immediately, they ran down the stairs and sat on the front bleachers, excited to see a fight between who they recognized as the Champion and second best male Tamer of Japan. More people started to show up and in no time soon, a crowd of fans and Tamers with their Digimon began to form. The group from the sidelines saw the crowd.
"Wow, they're picking up a crowd aren't they?" Ken said to the others. They nodded.
"It's almost like they think it's an exhibition match or something," said Cody.
"If it were just rookies battling, then only few people would probably watch it and not think highly of it. But since it's these two, who are the reigning Champion and second best, getting a chance to witness their fight up close is seemingly priceless." Izzy said.
"You're right about that Izzy. This could be a once in a lifetime chance for anybody, but I don't have my doubts that this will always happen every year." Joe responded. The group nodded again.
At first, Tai and Matt were too caught up in their fight to even notice the crowds and their shouts, but when both their Digimon stopped to catch their breath, they finally noticed. "Hey Matt, looks like we got a lot of peoples' attention. Why don't we kick it up into high gear!" Tai suggested as he gave a smirk. Matt looked bewildered. "Are you crazy Tai, we agreed to not to digivolve them. And you know the rules, Digimon at 'Champion' levels or above aren't allowed to battle near city buildings, practice fight or not."
"Common Matt just look around you, it's a wide open space. There's the ocean, there's the stairs, and behind you and me yards away are the city buildings. It definitely defines being secluding. Besides, there are even some commissioners from the tournaments that are watching the fight right now, and they seem to be enjoying it." He pointed to one of the benches that was indeed occupied by Digimon Fight commissioners, and then waved to them. Not surprisingly, they waved back. "See?" Matt still looked uncertain, but agreed.
"Alright Tai, but can they fight this out in the sky?"
"A few moments on the ground, then the sky. Agreed?" He asked giving Matt the thumbs up.
"Agreed!" Matt responded back while also giving him the thumbs up.
"Alright!" Tai said, as he and Matt pulled out their Digivices. They faced their devices at their Digimon, who both began to recover their breaths, and shouted out their names.
"AGUMON!!! / GABUMON!!!" The two Digimon then started to glow.
"AGUMON/GABUMON!!! WARP DIGIVOLVE TO…" After a few seconds, both rookie Digimon digivolved into their most powerful forms, their Mega forms!
"WARGREYMON!"
"METALGARURUMON!"
The crowed were movingly awed. Never had they thought to see the two greatest Megas of Digimon Fights so up close. This was definitely a priceless event. The two Digimon and their Tamers looked at each other, wondering which of them will move first. Then, without a moment to spare, both Tamers gave their orders to attack and both Megas immediately charged at each other. The crowd went wild.
Well, that's what happening to the guys, now let's go to the girls. Like any ordinary young teenage girl, the girls shopped in almost every cloth store that had sales. Mimi was the one who had the most bags, while Yolei had the least. Mimi wasn't the least bit tired, only going to about 10 shops, but she could tell the others were getting exhausted. "Hey, why don't we go head on back to the guys now? It is close to lunch," she suggested.
"Yeah lets. Carrying these bags is getting tiring," replied a pretty tired Yolei. The others giggled. "Alrighty then, let's go!" Mimi said as she started to jog and then break into a run. The others sweatdropped.
"She can actually run with 10 bags?" asked Yolei. They shrugged.
"Well that's Mimi for ya." Palmon answered. "We better get going too or else we won't catch up." The girls and Digimon nodded and took off.
"Whoa, what's with the crowd?" Biyomon asked.
"Don't know let's ask," answered Sora. She went and tapped a teen girl on the shoulder, who turned to face her. Her eyes then glowed. "Ah! It's Sora! And Mimi, Hikari, and Yolei too!" she squealed. Sora and the others sweatdropped, but was relieved that no one else noticed them. "Eh, yeah. I was going to ask you, would you please tell us what's going on here?"
"I'd be happy too. Though can I have your guys' autograph while I tell you? Pretty please?" The brunette girl smiled. "Sure thing, just let us put these bags down." The girl gave her a picture, which was a photo of all the girls in the Digidestineds' group. Sora took the photo and started to scribble her name with her little pen. The other girls did as well. While doing that, the teen girl told them what was happening.
"There's a crowd here because the reigning Champions Tai Yagami and Yamato Ishida are having a match with their Digimon."
"What? A match, here with city buildings nearby?"
"So far they aren't penalized for anything, though I think that they won't be. Besides, the buildings are yards away and they're doing the fight in the air," responded the girl.
"I guess it's alright," Sora said. By that time, the girls were done signing the photo. "Thanks a lot. I can't wait to show my parents!"
"Thank you for informing us. Well see ya!"
"See ya!" And the four girls made their way through the crowd, carrying along their shopping bags. Once completely down the stairs, they completely gave their full attention towards the sky. "You know this is crazy, fighting in their mega levels."
"I know that Yolei, but it's too late to keep them from continuing," replied Kari. "I guess… Oh well, let's just watch."
From the looks of it, both Digimon were near their limits to continue on. Both Tai and Matt noticed this, so they decided to finish the fight with a big light show.
"WARGREYMON, LET'S FINISH THIS!!!" yelled Tai to his Digimon. The Mega complied and began to unleash his most powerful attack.
"METALGARURUMON, FINAL ATTACK NOW!!!" Matt shouted to him, and just like Wargreymon, the Mega also did what he was told. Then both Tamers yelled out…
"FULL POWER ASSAULT!!! "
"TERRA FORCE!!!" And Wargreymon sent out a huge ball of energy from his palm towards his opponent.
"ICE WOLF BITE!!!"
Missiles were sent towards the ball of energy. The two powers collided with each other and a large explosion of light erupted from the attacks. Everybody blocked their eyes with their arms from the light and waited until it dimmed down.
What was heard next was the sound of two In-Training Digimon falling from the sky, yelling out 'aaaaahhhhh!' and hitting the grassy ground below. Once the light cleared, Tai and Matt noticed their Digimon in their In-Training forms, both unconsciouses.
"Koromon!" Tai called out.
"Tsunomon!" Matt as well called out.
Both Digimon gave no movement.
No one spoke.
That is until one of the girls decided to remain silent no more.
"Alright that's enough. This fight is over; both Koromon and Tsunomon are out cold. And that means, this match is a draw!" Everyone including Tai and Matt drew their attention to the one who spoke.
Mimi!
The two boys nodded and raced over to their Digimon. Tai picking up little Koromon, Matt picking up little Tsunomon. They both stared at each other for a few seconds before they smiled and shook hands. The crowd then roared with cheering. "Congrats Matt. You finally tied with me. To bad this wasn't a tournament Fight."
"Thanks Tai. Hopefully in the upcoming tournament, I'll be able to do the same. Just watch it though, I might beat'cha."
"You wish!" Matt laughed.
"So what are we going to do about this crowd?" he asked. Tai shrugged, their attentions turned to the crowd.
"ALRIGHT PEOPLE, MOVE IT! NOTHING TO SEE HERE NOW! MOVE! SHOO!" yelled Mimi, who was motioning her hands for the people to get lost. Reluctantly, the people did what they were told, and each person ascended above the stairs to go wherever their next destination was. That included the Digimon Commissioners as well. The Tamers below sweatdropped.
"Those that answer your question Matt?" He was received with a nod from the blond.
End of Battle 1
