Yeah! I finally finished watching all of season 4 of Digimon! I kept watching it, especially the ending when Kouichi's spirit returned to his physical form! Okay enough about that, next chapter up!!!

Notes: (1) Even if it wasn't mentioned in the last chapter, all of you people who remembered that Jun *Davis's sister* was the one who called Matt Matty-chan, just forget that ever happened. That nickname came from Mimi, and only Mimi got that!

Summery: Season2/3/4 X-over. Mimi disappears, and the others track her down to another digital world. They learn that two other girls are missing; girls named Jeri and Izumi. Later, three Digimon come and attack the group. Who are they? More importantly, why are they so familiar?

Battle 2: Missing And A Discovery

*Izumi Residence*

"Aarrgggh!!! Still nothing!" cried a very irritated Izzy as he failed again on locating the Digidestined's location. "O-okay, stay calm Izzy, stay calm. Now let's try this again." And for what seems the one-hundredth time, the holder of the Knowledge typed away on his computer, in hopes on getting at least a small signal on where the Digidestined was.

Which Digidestined am I talking about you ask?

Well if you must know, (a/n: you should know) it would be Mimi Tachikawa.

No one knew for sure what happened, but the next night after the Anniversary picnic, she had mysteriously vanished into thin air. Apparently, both her parents where so worried that her father decided to go and look for her. He went to the grocery store she was supposed to be in to buy some food, since it was her turn cooking, but when he asked some of the cashier if any of them had seen a girl with a white fisher hat that had the word 'Purity' stitched on it, they had told him that she already left the store. He searched for her more until he saw something familiar in a dark alley just a block away from the apartment they were living in.

It was her white fisher hat.

He had also spotted the groceries that she bought; all were on the floor. He had called out to her through the dark alley, but didn't get any respond back. He suddenly felt himself shivering from a mysterious presence in the air. Deciding to give up, he headed for home. When he told his wife about not being able to find her, just as expected, she broke down and sobbed. Palmon did as well.

Oh, why wasn't Palmon missing as well?

That's because Mimi told her to stay home, saying that she's a big girl and that she can protect herself. After finding out about her partner's disappearance, the next day she had told the other Destineds. She got a lot of different reactions like Sora and Yolie crying, and Davis punching a wall. Of all of them, the ones that Palmon saw that most devastated were Matt and T.K (because she was like the big sister he never had). T.K was over it a bit, but was still worried and upset. However, it was a different situation for Matt. He wasn't over it even until now. The police was on the very case, but the others had their own part in trying to find her.

That literally brings us back to what Izzy was doing. He asked Palmon if Mimi had her Digivice with her, and she responded back that she always has it with her. With that info, Izzy came up with the idea of trying to contact her with it. He didn't know why, but for some reason, he wasn't able to locate her on the map that was shown on his laptop.

It almost looked like that something was preventing him from getting a signal, 'cause every time he was able to get one, his computer started to go on the fritz, like their was too much static around blocking the signal or something, if you know what I mean. It has been at least a week, and still nothing. Izzy put his head down on the table, both his hands on top of his head. All this was giving him a headache. He had been continuing to do this for the past 7 hours now. Sighing, he sat back up and rubbed his temples.

"I need a break." In the past, he would of still continued, but right now, this was putting too much pressure and too much stress on him. "Tentomon, wanna get something to eat?"

No answer.

"Tentomon?"

Again now answer.

Izzy looked at his partner and sweatdropped. He was sleeping. ~Probably from being bored~ he thought. "Oh well, might as well get some food for the both of us." With that, he opened the door and went out towards the kitchen.

*Ishida Residence*

Matt continued to watch the stars as he supported himself on the railings. His blonde hair was tousled around by the wind, but that didn't bug him. In fact, the cold air felt good. It made him calm his nerves and feel relaxed, also feeling that nothing else mattered around him. Nothing did matter to him right now.

Well, that is likely 'almost' nothing, 'cause there was something. More accurately, someone.

Mimi.

Where was she? But more importantly, was she all right?

If… If she was truly gone, then he missed on any chances of ever telling her on how he felt about her. She would never know. Just thinking about it brought tears to his eyes.

NO! He won't cry. He promised himself that he would not shed any tears. He had to be strong, for everyone, for himself, and especially for Mimi. She would not want to see him look and act like this. But it was too hard for him to hold them.

They fell.

Gabumon watched as his partner continued to sulk. He had known about his liking towards the Purity holder. No one knew much in detail about it except for himself, Patamon, and Takeru. The others had their own shares of ideas about it, but Matt was never really the kind of person to talk about such thing. Not even to Taichi his best friend. It was almost like he felt that he couldn't trust him about that kind of stuff. Everyone knows that he tends to have a big mouth, but that's only in particular times.

Gabumon wanted to comfort his partner Tamer, but wasn't sure how. Sure he'd try to, but all his words would probably get his tongue tied, and might not come out right. His ears drooped when Matt's Head fell, tears threatening to come down from his eyes, even though he could tell that Matt was trying his hardest to prevent it.

But…they ended up falling anyway. Gabumon sighed.

~Oh Matt~ Unknown to the Gabumon, someone else was watching the depressed teen from behind the bedroom door.

Thinking that it might be best for him to leave his brother alone, Takeru slowly and soundlessly walked away from the door and headed towards the living room, in which his parents were talking. (1) In his mind, he was thinking exactly what Matt was thinking right now.

~Where are you Mimi? ~

*Back At The Izumi Residence*

"Now that was good," responded Izzy as he finished the last of his meal. Tentomon, who woke up to the smell of food, also finished his share.

"Yes it was, what's for dessert?" he asked. Oh, Izzy had almost forgot about it. The two desserts that lay on the tray were waiting for their turn to be gulped down, of course this was to both of the guys' opinion. "A piece each of mom's homemade apple pie." He gave Tentomon's piece to him, and then started to eat his piece.

"Mm Izzy, your mom makes good apple pies. Do you think I'll be able to get another piece?" Tentomon asked. Izzy chuckled. "Maybe, why don't you go ask?"

"I'll do just that." The Digimon replied as he continued to finish his pie. Izzy watched his partner in amusement. When he turned back to his computer, he noticed something strange. "Hm, that's odd."

"What is Izzy?"

"Wait, let me confirm it first." He typed some things and used his mouse to click something else. During that time, a window popped open. "Ah ha! It is from Gennai."

"What is?"

"This e-mail. Although I don't remember sending him one to respond back to." Izzy read it and a shock came to his face. "This is serious!" he exclaimed.

"What does it say?"

"Later Tentomon, I better call the others over. This may answer where Mimi might be."

"Really Izzy?"

"Yup!" He grabbed his cell phone and started to call the others.

20 minutes later

Everybody was both nervous and hopeful when they were in the room. All of the Digidestineds were there; Tai, Sora, Matt, Joe, T.K, Kari, Davis, Yolei, Cody, Ken, and their Digimon. Mrs. Izumi left a tray of her apple pie that the Digimon gladly ate. The Digimon and Davis to be precise, but Davis was still listening.

"I'm pretty sure you guys know why I've called you here, especially when it's already late in the evening."

"Hey, no sweat Izzy, this is pretty important stuff. Besides, you told us this would help us know where Mimi is. Right everybody?" Tai asked the others. The others nodded.

"So what does the letter say?" Tai continued on.

"Well it may come as a shock to you."

"You mean the letter?" Izzy nodded. He then told them about the letter.

"For awhile now, Gennai has been sensing an unbalance of power in the Digital World. He doesn't doubt that something has happened to one of us, pointing mainly at Mimi. But he doesn't only sense an unbalance of power there, but he's been also sensing an evil presence that's been growing. Azulongmon had felt it too, but the problem is, the presence suddenly disappeared from the Digital World, and has moved on to a different place. This part may come as a shock to you guys, but the presence has moved to a Digital World in ANOTHER dimension."

Some gasped, and others looked shocked.

"There's another Digital World?" Yolie asked to no one in particular.

"Looks like it. And in a whole different dimension too," Ken replied. "But what does this got to do with any of us, and Mimi?"

"I was getting to that part. Well, as Azulongmon told Gennai, there are not one, but three other Digital worlds out there. One in which each Digimon Sovereign is in charge with. I really don't know much about that though. Anyways, the presence disappeared to one of them. If I remember correctly, it vanished to the quadrant that the Sovereign Ebonwumon is guarding over. (2)"

"Yeah yeah Izzy that's all very interesting and all, but you still haven't exactly told US how it has anything to do with us or Meems," Matt interrupted, as he was getting impatient.

"Hey, keep your cool Yamato, you're not letting him finish," said Tai. Matt just turned away and growled. He hated it when Tai used his real name. It was always Tai's tool to keep his mouth shut. Izzy sighed.

"I'm getting to the point now. A Digimon spotted a figure somewhere due north carrying something. At first he thought it was some Digimon captured, but on closer inspection, the Digimon found it to be not a Digimon, but a human."

"You mean Mimi?" asked Sora.

"The Digimon described that the person was a female who was unconscious, so it might have been Mimi. Every Digimon in the Digital World knows of the new law that clearly states that it is forbidden to capture a human, unless was ordered to by Gennai or Azulongmon. After hearing the info from the Digimon, a spy was sent to investigate. The spy reported that the human was captured because she was going to have an important role in a plan for ruling the Digital World and the Real World." Yolie slapped her forehead.

"Again with the 'ruling the world' goal. Don't enemies think of anything else other than try to take over the world?"

"Every enemy that we've ever faced against always had that dream, so I'm not really surprised." Kari said.

"Me either Kari, but it's not like any 'stop the enemy from taking over both worlds' situation that we've ever faced before. The spy felt a lot of energy radiating from her; a kind of strong aura that was color green. My guess that the captive was really Mimi because her aura's green. Plus the spy mentioned that they had called her the child of Purity."

"If it is Mimi, let's get her back now!" exclaimed Matt.

"Don't get yourself in a hurry Matt, we'll get her back. But first we need more info and a plan." Tai told his friend.

"If Sora was in Mimi's place, you'd say the same thing too!" he retorted back. That had really gotten to Tai, and now he was a loss for words. What Matt said was true.

"Yeah, but…"

"But nothing!" the blond finished.

"Enough you two! Taichi just keep your mouth shut, and Yamato, Mimi would never approve of your behavior right now!" Sora exclaimed. Both guys turned away from each other with a 'hmph' sound from their mouths. T.K went and put a hand on his brother's shoulder.

"Please don't get too rash bro, we'll get her back. I want her back as much as you do."

"We all want her back," Kari said.

"Yeah, but how do we?" Matt asked, defeated.

"By going to the other Digital World that she's in," was the simple respond from Izzy.

"Nice thinking Izzy, but it's easier said then done." Tentomon said.

"Not really Tentamon. From what Gennai said in the letter, Azulongmon held a meeting with the other Sovereigns. They agreed since they had problems of their own. Good thing they weren't reluctant too."

"How come? And what's their problems?" Cody asked.

"What's clearly stated to me, the other Sovereigns aren't really fond of humans even though they respect them. If they didn't have the same problems as we do, they would of reluctantly agreed to help us. It would seem that a Digidestined from each world was captured as well. And get this, all of them were girls."

"What, all were girls?" Yolei stated, sounding surprised, as also were the others. That's when Davis finally decided to come in the conversation.

"What is that creep, an obsessed girl fan?"

"You're overreacting Davis," responded Yolie.

"And I have a reason to be," he answered back. Yolie looked kind of surprised.

"Wow, for once you agree with me!"

"Hey, it was like the only thing you told me that was right." She then had an evil in her eyes.

"What was that?" she then lunged at the unexpected goggle head, who gave a yelp. The others sweatdropped.

The three that were the most embarrassed of the group were T.K., Ken and Tai. T.K because Davis was his best friend, despite their constant fighting, Ken because he was Yolie's boyfriend and Tai, simply because he was the role model of Davis. Their fighting ended when Mrs. Izumi knocked on the door and entered the room. She blinked when she saw the position that Yolie and Davis were in. Yolie was practically widening Davis's mouth with her two hands, and Davis was doing the same except that he was doing it to her cheeks.

"Was…was I interrupting something?" she asked as she tilted her head to the side.

The two teens vigorously shook their heads and immediately pulled away from each other, sitting back down next to their Digimon. "I only came here to get your plates and the tray. By the way, how was it?"

They gave cheeky smiles on their faces and gave her their plates. "It was delicious! Thank you Mrs. Izumi!" they all exclaimed. Of course it was a complete lie. They didn't feel like eating the pie, so they gave it to the Digimon and Davis to eat. She smiled back and left the room, tray in hand with a pile of plates on it.

The others sighed, and gave annoyed looks to both Yolie and Davis, who sweatdropped. "What?" they both exclaimed. The others sighed again. Izzy was the first to straiten up. "Now back to the subject. Yes, the two humans are both female girls. Why are they only taking girls? I haven't the slightest clue, and neither does Gennai or the Sovereigns. About getting there, there is a completely simple solution with getting to the other Digital World, and that is with a portal."

"A portal?" the others asked.

"Yes a portal. There is a very well hidden place in the Digital World that has a mirror portal to go in different dimensions. Gennai will fill us in with the details once with get to the Digital world. All that he's waiting for is an approval from us. What do you guys say?"

"What do we say? We say we go, right guys?" asked Tai. He was responded back with a loud cheer. Izzy nodded.

"Alright then it's settled, we're all going to the other Digital World. I'll send a letter to Gennai. What everybody needs to do is tell your parents and gather some supplies for the trip. Everybody will then meet at the soccer field under the tree at exactly 7:30 AM. And this time, make sure you have your alarm clock ready Davis." Davis scratched the back of his head as he nodded while giving a nervous smile and sweatdropping.

"Don't worry Izzy, I'll make sure that he'll wake up on time!" exclaimed Demiveemon.

"Thanks a lot buddy, but you know just as well as I do that you sleep and wake up the same time as me," replied Davis. Everyone gave out a small laugh as the little blue Digimon turned red on Davis's remark.

Matt's laugh was reduced to giggles and then stopped. He turned his attention to the night outside the window and put up a determined face.

~Don't worry Mimi, we're coming for you. ~

Following Chapter: The Digidestined set out to the Digital World where they are transported to the Frontier children's Digital World. There they meet the Frontier kids and also the Tamer kids, and learn about two other missing children; Juri Katou and Izumi Orimoto. Plus, three powerful Digimon come and attack the whole group.
