Chapter 3: Camp Yellow MountainAll the campers filed off the bus taking in their surroundings with awe. Camp Yellow Mountain was on the base of Yellow Mountain. The camp covered a large area on the south and west side of a lake. The east and north sides of the lake were covered in forest and was were the foot of the mountain touched. The boy's cabin was on the west side and the girls cabin was on the south side with the councilors in between. "Come on guys! We need to get the best cabin before anyone else does." Brian cried out as he pulled his cousin in the direction of the boy's camp."Alright, alright! I'm coming just hold on a second." Zack sighed, but Brian continued to pull on his shirt. "Come on Vince.....let's go before Brian here has a fit. See you girls later."Vincent started to follow Zack and called back "Yeah! see you girls later." Then started walking again not waiting for a response. He felt extremely uncomfortable around Sora right now."See.....you....later...." Sora replied sadly watching them as they head toward the other side of the lake. She felt disappointed, but there was still six weeks for everyone to reconnect at camp."What are you doing just standing there! We want a good cabin too, you know!" Michelle complained as she stared to push Sora in the direction of the girl's camp. "You'll have plenty of time to hang out with Vince later.""Humph...who says i even want to!" Sora snapped back instantly "He is so rude and cold""What's got into you, Sora? You're never angry like this...come on, looks like someone needs some ice cream. Now get your bag and let's go!" Michelle replied while grabbing their bags. "Not to bad! I have to admit although it's simple, I was expecting a lot worst." admired Zack as he gazed around cabin number two. There were three beds arranged around the room. All the beds were on the ground with a small desk next to them. In the corner of the room was a bathroom with a shower. It was small and had no walls, instead there was a curtain surrounding the area. Also, there was a single light hanging from the ceiling."Yay!!! This is my favorite cabin." Piped Brian as he jumped up and down on the bed he called dibs on."Wait a second.....aren't all the cabins the same. This one doesn't seem any different from any of the other ones, so what was the rush in getting to this one." Vincent exclaimed, slightly confused."Just let it go. As long as he's happy and not bothering me, it's good enough for me. Now this place is great and all, but I'm starving, so lets get something to eat." Zack replied.Everyone agreed and headed to the mess hall leaving their cabin behind. The mess hall was in between the boy's and girl's camp next to the councilors cabins. After entering the building they spotted Michelle and Sora and headed their way to take a seat."Mmmm.........Lunch of champions!" Vincent teased as he took a seat across from Sora noticing Michelle and Sora helping themselves to some ice cream."I can't help it! This camp ice cream is pretty good." Michelle replied continuing to consume more ice cream."So, I noticed a sign on the mess hall door saying that we need to sign up for two sports. Any idea on what you want to sign up for?" Zack said throwing the question out there."Oh that!" Michelle exclaimed. "Don't bother. Sora and I already signed you up! Now aren't you thankful you have such great friends that would help you out like that."However, Vincent didn't like that way Michelle was talking. It sounded like she was hiding a secret or some prank. "Oh really? So, what sports did you sign us up for anyway?"Now Sora was getting in on the joke." Oh you know.....Basketball and baseball for Zack, basketball and soccer for Brian, and basketball and tennis for you." "What!?! You know I can't play tennis!!!" Vincent shouted in protest. This was unbelievable. Sora knew fully well that Vincent was one of the worst tennis players in gym class."Well....then i guess you'll have to learn." Sora teased. And with that she got up and left leaving Vincent speechless. This was going to be a rough few weeks.
