Chapter 2: Catching Up "What are you guys doing here?" Vincent was extremely puzzled. The chances that all of his few friends were going on the same was very slim. This had to be another one of those tricks to get him to hang out with them more often. Like he had a choice now. "Going camping, of course!" Michelle answered him. Michelle was a girl in the same school as Vincent, Devon High School. She is sixteen like Vincent and surprisingly tall for a girl. She has short, black hair, but her hair has blue highlights in it. She thinks it looks sexy. Her eyes are a deep blue that happen to match her highlights. Currently, Michelle was wearing short shorts that really showed off her long legs. Also, she wore a light, royal blue sweatshirt with a hood. "Well.....I guess I couldn't pass up on a chance to hang out with the man himself!" Zack said as he grinned at Vincent with his cocky smile. Zack is Vincent's best friend and they hang out the most out of all four of them. Zack has a habit of getting them in trouble together which happens quite frequently. Unlike Vincent and Michelle, he is seventeen, almost a year older, but he stayed back a year. He also is one of the biggest players at Devon High, and not just on the basketball team. Girls follow him all over the place, but Zack likes that sort of attention. Zack has blonde hair and blue eyes, nothing unusual. Right now, he was wearing jeans and a yellow shirt. Also, he had his favorite baseball cap, a blue cap with a yellow lightning bolt on the front, on him."Hey Vincent, I thought you would like it better if we surprised you! Don't you think it's cool that you get to spend an entire two weeks with us. This is going to be the best camping trip ever!" Brian shouted at Vincent even though he was standing right next to him. Brian was Zack's cousin. Brian was only twelve years old but he is fun to hang out with. He's awesome at most videogames too. However, Brian can be a handful at times. He is extremely hyper and can get annoying to his age and maturity. It is easy to tell that Zack and Brian are related because they look the same except for their haircuts. Brian has a mushroom cut while Zack has spiky hair.SMACK!!!"Ow!!! What the hell Sora!?!" Vincent complained not understanding what the sudden hostility was for." Whoa, Sora...what are you doing? I didn't know you and Vincent were fighting!" Zack gasped in shock as Sora's hand collided with Vincent's cheek. "Cut it out! Can't you work out your problems or at least give us some warning next time!"Everyone continued to stare at Sora with their there mouths hanging open unable to find the words needed to describe what just happened when Sora hugged Vincent. "You jerk......I missed you." Sora mumbled as she laid her head on Vincent's shoulder. "Why don't you hang out with us once in a while...or at least call me!"This question hit Vincent like a dagger. He was smart and never had trouble finding the answer for questions, but this was different. Vincent didn't even know where to start on this question. It was his problem in the first place and not even he knew where to start looking for the answer. He stared blankly at something it seemed that only he could see," I wish I could answer that question...but for now...I'm here for two weeks and I'm not going anywhere, anytime soon.""That's good." Sora replied as she stood up straight only coming a few inches short of Vincent's height. She had brown hair and brown eyes that matched perfectly. Sora was sixteen years old and had been in Vincent's class since kindergarden. Currently, she was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a red T-shirt. Sora was Vincent's oldest friend and has been trying to get closer to Vincent for years, but every time she thought she had made some progress, Vincent pushed her away even more. This had made her upset recently resulting in the slap Vincent had just received. However, any other thoughts anyone might had have were interrupted when Brian cried out," Look at that! This must be Camp Yellow Mountain! Its has to be the coolest camp I have ever seen. This trip is going to be awesome!"
