Tk was confused. Kari was going out with Davis, and he wasn't jealous and he wasn't going to try and get her to dump him to go out with him. Tk decided that he was over his long time crush on her. He was in a way glad. Now he could do the things he wanted to do without worrying that she might give up on him and go out with Davis. Tk decided that now that it was happening, he was okay with it. He was actually getting tired of fighting for her. Davis was a better digimaster than he was. Davis was better at everything than he was. Davis had an older sister, Tk had an older brother. Davis' parents were still together, his were divorced. Davis had everything. A good home life, a good school life, everything. Tk was starting to think that everyone liked Davis more than him. Davis was so much like Tai, and Tk was like Matt. Tk and Matt were great brothers. Matt told Tk that they would move into an apartment together once Tk finished high school and passed. Matt was unsure if he should keep going with his band. Matt seemed down a lot of the time. Tk only had 3 weeks of school until he was free to move in with Matt. Matt was a nice guy, he was passionate with everything he did, he loved his family, and he was gentle. But Matt seemed more drawn away from everyone now. There was something that Matt wasn't telling him. Their mom had already okayed the moving in with Matt and had told him that if at any time they needed help, to just call and she would try and help them. Tk started packing his stuff early and moved some of his stuff in the apartment that they were going to stay in. Tk found Matt sitting by the window watching the rain fall. “Matt? What are you doing?” Tk asked his brother. Matt didn't move for a while. Then he got up and looked at him. Tk knew that by the look on Matt's face that he had been doing some serious thinking. “Nothing. The second door on the right, down the hall is yours. The bathroom is right next to you and I'm right across from you.” Matt seemed distant. “How's mom?” Matt asked. Tk smiled a bit. “She's okay; she doesn't like the idea of her baby boy moving out of her house without her being able to keep an eye on me 24/7.” Tk joked. Matt smiled a weak smile and headed for the kitchen. “How's school?” Tk shrugged. “Its okay, I'm glad its going to be over soon.” “How's Kari?” Matt asked from the kitchen. Tk looked at his brother from the doorway. There was something missing from him. It's like this wasn't really his brother. Like it was some alien that had taken over his brother's body. “She's going out with Davis.” Matt looked at him with sorrow in his eyes. “I'm sorry.” Tk shrugged. He really didn't care any more. “It's okay. Now that it's actually going on, I don't mind it. I don't have to constantly be looking over my shoulder to see in Davis is there lurking in the shadows to try and steal her away from me.” Tk sighed. It was the truth and he didn't know why. Matt opened a jar of peanut butter and pulled out some bread. What was wrong with Matt? He's usually cooking something. “Feel free to fix anything you want, just don't burn down the whole building.” Matt ruffled Tk's hair like he was a little kid again. “Nah, mom's been on this whole thing where she's cooking my favorites and letting me order pizza late at night. I think she's trying make herself think I'm not really leaving.” Matt sat on the couch and turned on the tv. He nodded, that was his que to go. “I'll see ya at the part Friday night? At Tai's house?” Tk asked Matt. Matt nodded, but didn't take his gaze off of the tv. There was definitely something wrong with Matt. He drove back to his mom's house and ordered the pizza he was going to enjoy while watching late night movies on the tv. His mom came into the living room around 2 o'clock the next morning and sat next to him. “How's Matt?” Tk looked at her. Was there something she was keeping form him about Matt? Was it the same thing that was making Matt seem like a total stranger? “He's a little distant, but I guess he's okay.” His mom nodded and hugged him. “Mom? What's wrong with Matt?” Tk asked with tears in her eyes. She looked at him and gave a weak smile. “He's probably having trouble with your father. They never got along very well since the beginning of the divorce. Matt seems to have distanced himself from reality since the divorce.” She told him and then got up and headed toward her bedroom. She turned around and looked at him. “Don't push your brother to hard Tk. He loves you and doesn't want to hurt you, but he's got some demons that he's got to handle on his own.” With that she turned and left him to think. After an hour of thinking about his brother, he headed to his bedroom. He tossed and turned for hours before he was able to find sleep. The next 3 weeks past by fast. He caught Davis and Kari making out in the hall the last day of school. He didn't let Davis have the satisfaction of seeing the hurt on his face. He just went right past them and to his locker, which unfortunately was very close by where they were. But, instead of seeing a smug look on Davis' face, he saw pity. Which pissed him off more than seeing a smug look saying `I've got her and you lost!'. He punched his locker and walked away. He could hear Kari yelling for him. She was trying to explain, but she'd done enough of that when she told him that she had picked Davis and was in love with him. Davis was standing behind her in the place where he had been. The look of pain on Tk's face was more than he could bear. He didn't know why, but it made him angry with himself that he hurt Tk that bad. Tk was transforming into Matt. And Matt was transforming for the worst. There was something inside that went bazaar every time Tk would have to sit next to him. He didn't have that feeling when Kari near him. He decided that he should ask Joe about it since was not just a doctor, but a therapist too. He called Joe up after school and asked if he could come over for a bit. Joe was happy to have him over. It wasn't every day that someone wanted to come visit him. Davis walked over there in a hurry. He was trying to run from the memory of seeing Tk's pained expression during school. Joe opened the door and frowned at Davis' expression. “What's wrong Davis?” He asked. “I need to talk to you badly.” Joe let Davis in and shut the door behind him. Davis went straight to the couch and set down. “What do you wanna talk about Davis?” Joe asked. Davis looked at Joe. Joe wasn't the type of person to judge people. “Today, Tk caught me and Kari making out in the hall.” Davis started. Joe blinked a few times, but beckoned him to continue. “There was a hurt expression, and it bothers me.” Joe took his glasses of and cleaned them and then put them back on. “Maybe your feeling guilty for taking Kari from his grasp.” Davis shook his head. “It goes beyond that. When ever Tk has to sit by me, because there's no other seats in the class and Kari is either not there or she's sitting with her friends, I get this bazaar feeling inside me that just doesn't go away. It never happens with Kari though. What does it mean Joe?” Joe looked at him a minute and then sighed and smiled at his friend. “I have a feeling that you have feelings for Tk.” Joe stated softly. “What?!” Davis couldn't believe his ears. Was Joe saying he was gay? Joe laughed lightly. “What probably happened was you didn't feel the same way about Kari as you did in the beginning.” Davis didn't get it. He started to say something. But Joe wasn't through explaining. “And you didn't notice the feeling was gone for her. But it was still there for Tk. And you mistook it for Kari. And you felt the need to keep going after Kari, when really you just wanted to be near Tk.” Joe was done for now. He didn't want to overload Davis' mind too much. Davis sat there and stared at Joe. What Joe had just explained put the pieces together he had been trying for years to piece together. Davis had to smile. So it was Tk he was actually in love with was it? It kind of freaked him out that he like guys, but everyone had a right to be happy. And he decided that Tk was the one to make him happy. “There's another thing.” Davis began. Joe nodded. “Tk seems to be turning into Matt. And by the looks of it Matt is turning into something that we are all afraid that will take his life.” Joe nodded. “There is something wrong with Matt. I know what part of the problem is, but the other half I have no clue what is.” Davis leaned closer. “What is the part you do know about?” Joe shook his head. “I shouldn't tell you. It's Matt's business. If he wants you to know about it he would tell you.” Davis shook his head. “No, I wanna know. Tk is turning into Matt. And if we can stop Matt's problem, we can stop Tk from getting the demons that are terrorizing Matt. I don't want Tk to have to go through a living hell like Matt is.” Davis told Joe. Joe knew that they all had a right to know. “Just make sure that you don't tell anyone unless it's absolutely necessary.” Davis nodded. “Can I tell Tk?” He asked. Joe smiled. “Only if you start going out with him. If not, then he goes along with the everyone category.” Davis nodded. Joe sighed. “Matt likes Tai. And he's having a bit of trouble getting over that. No, it's not any best friends like, but in love like.” Joe added at Davis' questioned expression. “And he's having a bit of trouble getting over the fact that he's gay. He also got kicked out of his dad's house when his dad found out that he was gay. Matt's trying to suppress the fact that he's gay. He doesn't wanna tell anyone that he's gay. He doesn't even wanna believe it himself. He can't keep it from Tai or anyone else for long and that's what scares me. I think he'll end up doing something stupid and end his life to try and end his own self-inflicted hell. When, if he would just come out with it, he would be a lot happier. And if Tai doesn't want him or love him then he'll find someone who will.” Davis was shocked to the bone. So, Matt was afraid that Tai would turn away from him? Davis then thought of Tk. Does Tk even like me? Davis decided he would just take a chance. He didn't care what anyone would think of him. If Tk didn't want him, then he would let him go. But not without a fight. “Thanks Joe. I really mean it. You cleared up a lot of stuff that's been on my mind lately.” Joe nodded and smiled. “Glad I could help. Remember, don't tell anyone unless it starts getting out of hand.” Davis nodded his understanding. “And I can tell Tk though.” Joe only smiled. “Only if you start going out with him. It's not good to keep secrets about your boyfriend's brother. It'll probably get taken the wrong way.” Joe and Davis stood up at the same time. “Keep me posted.” Joe told Davis as he opened up the door. “On Matt? Sure.” Davis said as he stood in the doorway. Joe shook his head. “Yes, I would like to be informed on Matt's condition, but I didn't mean Matt. I meant you and Tk.” Joe told him. Davis grinned. “Well, I'm going to find out if Tk wants to go out with me. And if he does, we'll probably make the announcement soon. If he doesn't, then I'll find some way to find the courage to tell everyone.” Joe understood what Davis' plans were. “Just don't give up easily on Tk if he doesn't want to at first.” Joe told him. Davis nodded. Then he grinned an evil dominant grin. “Oh, I won't.” And then Davis waved and headed to his car. He drove to Tk's house to see if Tk was home yet. He knocked on the door and his mom answered. “Hi, is Tk home?” She smiled a sweet loving smile. “Yes he is. He's just packing the last of his things. I'll let him know you're here. Come in, come in.” She ushered him into the living room. “Where is he going? Collage?” Davis asked. Tk's mom smiled. “No, he's moving in with his older brother Matt. Matt bought an apartment earlier in the month. Tk's going to live there for a while and go to classes. Do you know Matt?” His mom asked. Davis nodded. “Yeah, I know him.” He didn't wanna go into detail on how he knew Matt or who he was just in case Tk had told her about him and Kari. “I'll just go get him for you.” And with that, she left down the hall. Soon, he could hear Tk coming down the hall. He was glad Tk's mom hadn't asked him who he was. He wanted to talk to Tk, and if Tk knew it was him, he probably wouldn't even come in. Tk entered the room and stopped dead in his tracks. There, standing only a few short feet away from him was Davis. His heart did a summersault and started hammering in his chest. He knew why he felt this way every time Davis was in the room, but didn't want to acknowledge that fact. “Davis?” Tk was barley able to whisper. Davis looked at Tk and sucked in a breath. Tk had probably been in the shower when he arrived. Tk's hair was damp and his face still had water droplets rolling off of his chin and onto the floor. “Were you just in the shower?” Davis had to ask. He knew he sounded stupid, but it just slipped out of his mouth. Tk nodded. Then Tk narrowed his eyes. “Why are you here Davis?” Tk asked with a bit of poison in his voice. Davis inwardly winced. “I came to talk to you.” He was not going to let Tk turn into Matt, thinking that no one loved him or cared for him. Because Davis cared for him. “If it's about seeing you and Kari making out in the hall at school today, then I don't want to hear it.” Tk saw that Davis was searching for an answer. He turned to go head back to his room when he heard Davis speak again. “It's not about Kari. It's about you.” Tk didn't understand what Davis meant. Davis could see it in the way he turned around. There was confusion on his face. “What do you mean it's about me?” Tk asked. Davis took a few steps closer. When he took those steps closer, Tk took a few steps back. “It's about you and me.” Davis clarified a bit. “What about you and me?” Tk asked with a shaky voice. Davis kept moving toward Tk until Tk was backed up against a wall. “I went and saw Joe today after school and talked to him a bit. He cleared up a few things I hadn't been able to answer myself. Mostly about you and Kari.” Davis stopped only when there were only a few inches away from him and Tk. “What questions did you ask?” Tk was barley able to answer. His heart felt like it was going to burst open and hand its self over to Davis. “On how I don't feel the same way about Kari as I thought I had. And how my heart wanted someone else.” Tk's eyes shot open wide. He had to ask. He didn't even think about what he was asking, but it all just rolled out of his mouth. “A-And who is t-that your heart w-wants now?” He stuttered a bit. Davis smiled and laid a hand on Tk's shoulder. He put his other one on Tk's jaw line. Davis studied Tk's face. It was a nice pale. It wasn't tan like his. His hair was hanging down and clung to his face since it was still damp. It was a dirty blond. The roots were brown, but as it got longer, it grew blond. His eyes were a nice blue. His hand slowly slid down Tk's jaw to his neck. Davis leaned forward a bit. Davis stopped moving closer when their noses touched. “The one I want is you.” Davis whispered. Tk's eyes widened with both shock and disbelief. Davis smiled and brought Tk's head closer. Their lips touched softly. Davis heard Tk's gasp and took that opportunity and deepened the kiss. Davis swept his tongue into Tk's mouth. Tk tasted like caramel coffee. Davis easily took dominance over Tk's mouth. Davis' tongue petted Tk's tongue gently. Davis was shocked to the bone when Tk kissed him back. Tk didn't know how it happened, but he liked the fire burning inside him. He wrapped his arms around Davis' neck and pulled him closer to him. He wanted to get closer to Davis in any way possible. What had began as a gentle kiss at the beginning was now turning into a brutal kiss of passion. Davis' hand that used to be on Tk's shoulder was now moving down Tk's body. His hand trialed down Tk's back down and stopped at Tk's ass. Davis then let his hand trail even further down Tk's thigh and back up to Tk's side. Davis imagined Tk's legs wrapped around his waist tightly, while he begged and pleaded for Davis to do more to him and take him. Tk plunged his hands into Davis' hair. It was wonderful. It wasn't like silk, but it wasn't too coarse. It was just in the middle. Tk held on tight to Davis' hair when he felt Davis' erection through his pants. Davis had the same problem as Tk, only his was much bigger. Davis knew Tk's lips were going to be bruised, but Davis didn't care. He deepened the kiss and smirked into Tk's mouth when he heard Tk moan as Davis lightly ran his fingertips over Tk's erection. He loved the little noises that Tk made and wanted Tk to make even more. He didn't want to pressure Tk, but Davis couldn't wait until he claimed Tk. Tk would be his and no others. They were going to grow old together and have some kids and a dog. They were going to have a cute little house with a little yard and a nice sunset view out in the suburbs. Davis didn't want to get too far ahead of himself, so he just pushed all of those thoughts and focused on what was happening right then and there between him and Tk. Tk felt Davis press him into the wall even harder. Tk gasped as he felt Davis' erection pressed against his thigh. Tk could tell that Davis was much bigger than himself. Davis pulled at Tk's pants, but stopped. He wanted them off, but he knew he would have to wait. He pressed himself up against Tk and heard Tk's moan and gasp when Tk felt how big he was. Davis smiled. He was going to be the dominate one. There was nothing that Tk could say that could make him change his mind. Davis decided that they had better stop now before Davis lost all control and took Tk right there with the chance Tk's mom could end up walking in on them. He pulled back and looked into Tk's eyes. Yes, Tk's lips were bruised, his hair was a mess, and his cloths were rumpled a bit. Davis smirked when the saw Tk's erection and how Tk blushed and tried to pull his shirt down over it to try and discourage Davis from looking at it. Davis lightly pulled Tk's hands away, so the shirt sprang back up to the waist band of his pants. Davis looked at Tk's erection and knew his was no better. Davis smiled and looked back up at Tk's face and loved the blush that was across his nose and his cheeks now. Davis ran his finger across Tk's nose and felt Tk shiver at his touch. “We shouldn't have done that.” Tk finally said. Davis was a bit taken back. “What?” Was all he could say. Tk looked back up with tears beaming in his eyes. “You didn't know what you were doing and you're in love with Kari.” Tk told him. It was like Tk was telling him what to say if anyone asked what had happened. Davis narrowed his eyes. “Don't you listen? I told you, I don't love Kari. I love you.” Tk shook his head and let the tears fall freely. “No you don't.” Davis took Tk's hand and placed it on his erection. Tk gasped and his eyes widened. “Feel that? That's from kissing you. Not Kari. You. I never get a hard on when I kiss Kari. You're the one I want God damn it! I fucking love you. And if I didn't love you so much, I wouldn't be here. I wouldn't have needed to talk to Joe to get some things figured out.” Tk looked back up into Davis' eyes. Tears were still falling from his eyes. Davis took Tk and kissed him again. Only this time, it was a gentle kiss. Davis pulled back and took Tk into his arms. “Damn it! I love you so much. I won't let anyone else have you.” Tk could hear Davis' heart beat in is chest. He knew deep down in his heart that Davis was telling the truth. Tk wrapped his arms around Davis hugging him tightly. “I love you Tk Ishida.” Davis whispered. Tk closed his eyes. The situation was just confusing him even more. Davis had come over to tell him that he loved him. Then Davis had kissed him, and now Davis was telling him that he loved him. Tk felt like this was some sort of weird dream. But Tk's heart was about to leap from his chest and burst open to Davis if he didn't ask some questions first. Davis was about to kiss Tk again, but Tk avoided him. There were something's that needed to be cleared up. “I-I have to a-ask you s-some q-question before y-you can k-kiss me a-again l-like t-that.” Tk stammered. Davis smiled. Tk was having a hard time trying to fight off his instincts and let Davis kiss him like before again. Tk ran his tongue across his bottom lip and inwardly winced at the pain. His bottom lip was throbbing like hell. He didn't know if he could handle another kiss as passionate and wild like that without it making his lip start to bleed. “W-Why do you l-love me?” Tk asked. Davis smiled a smile that made him almost melt into Davis' open arms. But he had to get some answers, while he was still clear headed. “Joe told me that when we were both going after Kari, my feelings for her changed. And I didn't notice it was gone for her. But it was there for you. And I felt the need to go after Kari, when in reality I only wanted to be close to you. Because, I don't really know why I love you. But, does your brother know why he loves Tai?” Davis realized what he said a little too late. Tk's eyes shot up and they began to get wide. “What about Matt?” Tk asked with panic in his voice. Davis shook his head. “We better sit down. Its gonna take you awhile to get through all of your questions about us and for me to get through explaining the Matt situation, and then get through all of your questions on him.” They sat down on the couch and looked at eachother for a long time. Tk got impatient quick. “So, what about Matt?” Davis shook his head. “I can't tell you.” Tk was taken back. “What do you mean you can't tell me?” Tk yelled. Davis inwardly smirked. Tk could get so emotional sometimes. “I can tell you on one condition.” Davis told Tk. Tk nodded. Davis took a deep breath. “I can only tell you if you go out with me.” Tk blinked at him a few times. Tk knew Davis wasn't done with the condition. “And it can't be a go out for 3 months and see some trouble down the road and break up. We have to keep at it. It would be like we go out with eachother for about a year and then we get married. That kind of go out. If after a while, if we both see that it's not going to work, then we can break up.” This brought Tk's mind back to his original questions before Davis brought up Matt. Tk had so many questions that needed answering. “Why do you want to date me? What about Kari?” Davis shook his head. Did Tk ever listen? “I want to date you because I finally figured out that it was you who I belong with for the rest of my life and after.” Tk looked into Davis' eyes. Tk closed his eyes. His mind played images of him and Davis living together, adopting a few kids, living in the suburbs together, and dying on the same day. He shook his head to clear his mind. “What about Kari?” Tk repeated. Davis closed his eyes. “I'll just have to tell her the truth. What do you feel about Kari?” Tk looked away from Davis. “What do you mean?” Davis took Tk's head and turned it so that their eyes met. “What do you feel for Kari?” Tk shrugged. “When you went out with her, or before that?” “When we started to go out.” Davis told him. “I wasn't jealous, I didn't feel any lose, the only thing I felt was the fear that you were going to hurt my best friend.” Davis smiled at Tk. “You were scared that when I hurt Kari, I would some how end up hurting you too.” Tk shrugged. He had felt that way a few times. Davis pulled Tk close to him. “I would never hurt you. I don't wanna see you cry. Not for me at least.” Tk nodded. He didn't fully understand what Davis meant, but he had a pretty good idea. “So, do you wanna be my boyfriend now and forever?” Davis asked. Tk looked Davis square in the eye. “What about the others? What about our families?” Tk asked. “What about them? Do you care of what they think about us? Does it really matter?” Davis asked. Tk shrugged. “I guess not, but it would be nice if we had their support. But, I guess if you're sure that you wanna spend the rest of your life with me, then I guess it doesn't matter.” Davis smiled. “Well if your gonna be my boyfriend now and forever, there are going to have to be some ground rules set.” Tk looked confused. “First, you will not care what others think of us being together. If they support us, great, if they don't, then I don't care. Second, you will be the uke. There will be no `buts' about it. Third, you will always know that I love you. Fourth, you will never think about any other man again. Fifth, you will become completely mine tonight.” Tk didn't mind most of those. “Why do I have to be uke?” Tk asked. He didn't really mind Davis having power over him, but he had to ask why. Davis smirked a smirk that the devil himself would be frightened of. “Because, I want you to feel something when we make love that you know no other man can give you.” Tk smiled and hugged Davis. Davis brought Tk's head up for another soul-searing kiss. They battled for dominance for a bit, but then Tk just gave up and let Davis have dominance over his mouth. Davis ran his hands over Tk's body and memorized every detail that he could without taking Tk's cloths off. Davis pulled back and looked into Tk's eyes. “Let's go out to dinner tonight and then, we'll rent a nice fancy hotel room and I'll claim you.” Tk was unsure with this plan. Davis knew why Tk wasn't sure about the plan. “I've got enough money don't worry. And if I don't, I'll call my mom and dad and they could float me some money.” Tk eased his worries to the back of his mind. He smiled. “Okay. If you can afford me eating with you.” Davis smiled. “Baby, I'd go into debt to please you.” Tk laughed and lightly punched Davis in the arm. “Wanna go shopping? I wanna buy you some new stuff.” Davis told him. “Why?” Tk asked. He didn't want Davis to spend all of his money on him. “Because you're going to spend the rest of your life with me. You need some new stuff to go with your new life style.” Tk smiled again. God, Davis loved it when he smiled. Davis pulled Tk onto his lap and wrapped his arms around his waist. “I think your mom should come in here and we should tell her first. To make sure she's cool with it.” Tk turned his head to look back at Davis. “I thought you didn't care what other people thought of us.” Tk countered. “Yeah, I don't but she is your mother. We should tell her first.” Tk nodded and called his mom in. She stopped in the door way and smiled at them both. “Let me guess, you want to tell me that you're both dating.” Tk stared wide eyed at his mom. “I'm not that stupid. I could tell from the silence after you went into the living room that you two were doing something.” She took a few steps toward them. She looked at Davis and narrowed her eyes at Davis. “You better not hurt my baby. If you do, there will be hell to pay.” Davis smiled and nodded. She smiled at them. “Well, I've got to go to work. If you're going to do anything tonight, remember: make it special, and have safe sex. That's all I've got to say.” With that she went to the closet and grabbed her purse and her coat. She smiled at them both from the door way. “Have fun you to. Call me if you're going to stay out late or going to spend the night somewhere. Call me in the morning if I don't see you here in the morning.” And then she left. “Well, we have her support.” Tk said a little bewildered about what his mom had just said. “Yeah. No kidding.” Davis said with a smile. “You wanna go pack a bag so we can go shopping?” Davis asked. “Sure.” And then Tk was off to his room to pack a bag. Davis went over to the door to wait for Tk. That's where he saw an envelope. It was brightly colored and had his name on it. He opened it up and there was a letter and some money in it. Davis opened the letter and read it to himself. It was from Tk's mom.
`Take care of my baby. He can get into a lot of trouble sometimes. Watch out for him. He's got a big heart, but sometimes that gets him into more trouble than he would normally be in. He gets attached easily to things. So, if you don't plan to stay with him forever, and I'm not saying that you won't, don't get him too excited. I trust you. Sure, your judgment with the whole Kari issue was a bit off, but I trust you with my son. Actually, if I find out that you two plan to stay together forever, I'll end up thinking of you as one of my sons. Please try and help Matt. It would mean the world to Tk. You can buy him everything in the world and not help Matt, and Tk wouldn't know if you truly loved him. Don't buy him anything and help Matt, and Tk would know that you'd give up everything even your life for him. Matt means everything to Tk. Matt was always there for Tk growing up, now Matt needs Tk. I know what's wrong with Matt. He is in love with his best friend. That's gotta be harsh. I hope you can do something about it. Either show Matt that it's not the end of the world to not get loved by someone you love with your whole heart, even though it feels like it, or show Tai that there is someone out there that loves him too much for words. I know that Tai is going out with Sora, but I don't think that Sora is truly in love with Tai. I don't think that either of them makes the other go crazy inside if their apart too long. Just please, try and help out to the best of your abilities. Matt is still my son, and I love him very much.
Love, Mom
Davis didn't know what to say. He was going to help Matt in any way could. He was going to show both Matt and Tai that there was someone out there for everyone. And he was going to use him and Tk as an example. Davis took out the money and counted it. `Holy Shit!' was all Davis could think. There was over 400 dollars in there! Davis put the money and note in his pocket when he heard Tk coming down the hall. Tk was carrying two small bags. “What's in there?” Davis asked. Tk smiled. “In the right one there is my change of cloths and some pajamas.” He answered. Davis smirked. `He won't be wearing those long enough to be worth the effort of putting them on.' Davis thought with satisfaction. “And in the left one there is some stuff like hair shampoo, conditioner, and stuff like that.” “Why don't you use the hotel's stuff?” Davis asked. Tk smiled. “I need special things for my hair and my skin. Those hotel shampoo and conditioners and lotions irritate my skin really bad.” Tk explained. Davis nodded. They left soon after and headed to the mall. When in the mall, Davis wrapped his arm around Tk's waist and pulled him close. Tk didn't mind, except the fact that they were out in public and people, mostly from school, were staring in either shock or anger. “Apparently we're supposed to be with girls not eachother.” Tk whispered into Davis' ear. Davis nodded and looked one of his soccer buddies straight in the eye. They walked through some stores and bought a whole bunch of stuff. Davis made Tk go get them some food and drinks while he went to go look at something. He stopped by the jewelry store and gazed at the beautiful diamond rings. Soon, an old man came up to Davis and smiled. “May I help you sir?” He asked in a gentle voice. “Yeah I need help. See, I need something for my special someone. I want to show them that I want to be with them forever. Can you help me with that?” Davis asked. The old man smiled. “How long have you been together?” The old man asked. Davis smiled at bit. “We just started going out today. But we've been friends for a long time.” The old man smiled yet again. He motioned for Davis to follow him down the counter. There was one ring in particular that caught Davis' eye. It was a gold band with a sapphire in the middle surrounded by little diamonds. The old man knew just what one Davis was looking at because he took it out and showed it to Davis. “This is a beautiful piece of art. Do you want this one?” He asked Davis. Davis nodded with satisfaction. That was his birthstone and he wanted Tk to have it. The old man put it in the ring case and then put it in a small box followed by a bag. He rang it up and looked at Davis. “That will be $225.45 please.” Davis took half of the money Tk's mom gave him and paid for the ring and was half way out of the store when he heard the old man call to him. “I hope your lady likes the ring.” Davis stopped and turned around. He just smiled at the old man. “It's for my boyfriend.” Was all he said and then walked out the rest of the way out of the store leaving a very stunned old man. But then a slow smile crept up on the old man's face. He met Tk in the food court and they ate their supper and left with their bags to go to the hotel. Davis wanted to make this special for Tk. He wasn't a virgin in any stature. But he knew Tk was. That was a pure fact. They drove to the hotel listening to Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's `Let's make love'.

Afterlife: Hey what do you think? Don't think that I don't like Kari because I do. She's one of my favorite characters. I'm going to have some surprises for her coming up in the next chapter. What do you think about Matt? Should he try and commit suicide? If he does, just to let you know, I'm not going to let him die. How should Tai find out that Matt's in love with him? Should he freak out or should he welcome his friend with open arms? Your choice. R/R!! C-Ya!! ^_^
