After the concert Sora asked, "Who was the friend who owed you the favor?"

 

 

"Ken," Davis replies, "I hooked him and Kari up."

 

 

"Wow," is all she could say.

 

 

"Don't tell Ken, but I think all of his confidence went out the window when he quit being the Digimon emperor all those years ago, but were working on that," Davis states.

 

 

Meanwhile, Matt who had seen Sora and Davis together was infuriated, turned to Yolei and says, "I think we should see other people."

 

 

"What?" "Why?" She asks.

 

 

"I just need my space," he replies.

 

 

"Fine Yamato Ishida, I'll give you your Goddamn space! I hope you burn in hell!" She says crying, as she hails for a taxi.

 

 

Matt looks up at the starry sky and says, "Damn you, Davis, I'll get back at you for stealing my girl!

 

 

Meanwhile, Davis was looking at that same sky, when he notices a certain All- night jewelry shop and says, "Lucius, pull over."

 

 

"Right away Mr. Motomiya," Lucius replies.

 

 

"What's wrong, Davis?" Sora asks him.

 

 

"Sora, come with me," Davis tells her.

 

 

They proceed to enter the store, and Davis asks the clerk, "Is it ready?"

 

 

"Yes, it is, Mr. Motomiya, I presume this is the young lady you were talking about," The clerk replies.

 

 

"Yes, this is Sora, isn't she gorgeous?" Davis replies, This causes Sora to blush hotly.

 

 

"She sure is," the clerk says, "Here you go Mr. Motomiya."

 

 

"Thanks," Davis says.

 

 

"What is this all about," Sora asks.

 

 

"Sora," Davis says getting on one knee, "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks while opening a box to reveal an extremely expensive looking replica of the tag and crest of love.

 

 

She started to tear up as she says, "Of course I will!" Davis then stands up and pulls her into a deep kiss. Finally, Sora thinks, I have a love to call my own.

 

 

Later that night, Sora knew it was late, but she just had to call Kari and tell the news, When she answered she said, "Hello."

 

 

"Hey Kari", Sora replies.

 

 

"What's up Girlfriend, I've tried to get a hold of you all night, but you must have been out", Kari states.

 

 

"Well for starters, I found out who the 'Mystery man' is." Sora says.

 

 

"Oh my god, who?" Kari asks.

 

 

"Davis." Sora replies.

 

 

"You're kidding me!" Kari exclaims.

 

 

"I kid you not, and you know what?" She asks.

 

 

"What?" Kari asks.

 

 

"Davis and me are going out!" Sora exclaims.

 

 

"No way!" Kari states.

 

 

"Yes way!" Sora replies.

 

 

"Hey listen, Sora, do you think he'll ask you to the upcoming dance?" Kari asks.

 

 

"I sure hope so, listen I got to go, okay." Sora replies.

 

 

"Okay, talk to you on Monday." Kari says.

 

 

They both hung up and Sora gets to thinking, I wonder if Davis is still up? Only one-way to find out, she says. She proceeds to dial his number, and after a few rings Davis answers and says, "Couldn't sleep either, eh?"

 

 

Shocked, she asks, "How did you know this was me?"

 

 

"I'm psychic... no I'm just joking, I have caller I.D." Davis replies, "Listen, since I know neither one of us is going to get any sleep, because its four A.M., you want to get some breakfast?" Davis asks.

 

 

"Sure, Dai-kun." Sora replies.

 

 

"Good, I'll be there in about ten minutes." he says.

 

 

"Bye." she says then hangs up.

 

 

Surely enough, Ten minutes later he shows up at her door. "Well, Davis, where do you want to eat?" Sora asks him. "How does waffle house sound? I know its not really ritzy but..." she interrupts him and says, "Its fine Dai-kun."

 

 

They proceed to ride to waffle house in his personal limo. When they got there, Davis proving he is a gentleman, pulled out her chair for her. Its then that Sora decided to bring up the dance, "Dai-kun, did you know that there's a dance coming up in a couple of weeks?" She asks.

 

 

"No, I did not." Davis replies.

 

 

"Oh, it's just something to think about." Sora says.

 

 

"Indeed, I will." Davis replies. Little does Sora know, that Davis's company is sponsoring the dance coming up.
