Chapter Three - Bleed

"YOU DID WHAT!!!" Kari screamed.

"We had to bring him in." Tai said.

"WHY? HE'S ONE OF US." She screamed again.

"Kari, you know as well as I that ever since the hacker attack a few years ago, we have to keep track on anything and anyone entering the digital world."

"Yes, Tai, I do, but why for the love of God, why did you try to fight him? After what happened, now and years ago, we'll be lucky if he even acknowledges our presence."

"The past doesn't matter, damnit! Rules are rules you know that if he if going to be in the digital world, he has to be tagged. If he isn't then we'll never know if it's another terrorist or what, only digidestined are allowed here." Tai said, taking his leader position.

"We know one place he'll have to be almost every day." Tk told them.

"Where?" Questioned Mimi.

"At the school." Tk informed them.

"What? Why?" Matt asked.

"Because his son is in my class." Everyone was wide-eyed and speech-less.

"What, his son?" Sora asked shocked, unsure of what she heard.

"Yeah, apparently he has a son." Kari told them.

"But he's.........so young. That's make him........" He thought.

"Seventeen, he was seventeen when his kid was born." Kari finished for her brother. Everyone was shocked and speechless, their old leader had already had a child. Tai's shocked expression left again.

"That makes no difference, we still need to bring him in. Next, we find him, back to the real world." Tai said, turning towards the digi-port.

'I wonder how this is going to go down.' Kari thought to herself as she followed the rest.

Meanwhile....

As Davis and his son drove down the expressway, Davis was focused back on what happened that day, slowly the music poked into his eardrums as he slowly began to pay it some attention. It was a strange song he never heard, he quit focusing on the day and listened to the music. His son was sleeping peacefully beside him in the passenger side seat.

His ears immediately perked up he began to listen closer to each word as he drove the car, he foot getting heavier and the speed getting higher.

He'd had enough, he turned the radio off, he face was filled with a lot of emotions, sadness, hate, anger, love, confusion, they all shone on his face. His exit was still far off, the distance between the floor and pedal became diminutive as the engine roared. He tried hard, but one lone tear escaped from its place.

"What's wrong dad?" Davis's son asked, he smiled as he looked at him.

"Nothing, Andy, I'm just remembering old times, nothing to worry over. Go back to sleep, we'll be at the field in a little while." He looked back to the road as Andy leaned back into his chair.

"K, night, night, daddy."

Meanwhile...

The rest of the digidestined met at the park after all coming up unsuccessful. The light was still out and there was a beautiful breeze, no clouds were in the sky for miles, Tai looked into the sky, the breeze blew his hair and shirt. The pang of guilt finally hit, they were still waiting on the others when he began to think back.

Tai was deep in his flashback, there was no coming back for awhile.

Nine years back.......

Tai watched himself and the others hovering over Davis. He was helpless, nothing he could do but watch..........and learn. He looked on at the argument as white boarder were around his view, like in a dream.

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??" Yolie screamed with tears welling in her eyes.

"THAT WAS NOTHING BUT A COWARDLY, HEARTLESS MOVE, DAISUKE!" Kari yelled, the words hit like bullets, Davis stood shocked, others made remarks, but he just kept replaying the one. He looked down, when silence over came the atmosphere he began.

"All of you know, as well as I, there was no reversing what the hacker corrupted, if I wouldn't have done it, the virus would have spread to every Digimon alive. Losing and few 1000 is better then losing them all, right?" He looked up expecting sympathy, none was present.

"WHAT THE HELL? WHY DIDN"T YOU WAIT, WE MIGHT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!" Tai yelled.

He lost it, "........WHAT, TAI? WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE? FUCK YOU, TAI!!" Davis took off his goggles, "erahhhh." He threw them against the wall, hard, shattering them into pieces. None of the other gave him a second look as he walked away, unknown to them........for a very long time.

Present day...

He sighed and continued thinking.

Meanwhile...

After around twenty minutes of driving, Davis slowed down and started down the off ramp. Once off he headed for a big dome shaped stadium with no roof.

"Hey, kiddo, wake up." Davissaid as he pulled the car into a garage area and opened the door.

"Why are we here anyway?" He asked his dad.

"Don't worry, I'm just checking out the small details, in a little while we'll go home and you can sleep."

"Ok." They continued walking, getting in the elevator and talking it upward. When it stopped they exited, Davis held his sons hand as they walked over the smooth, light blue tiled floors.

Elsewhere...

"Ha, they know nothing, they just fight amongst themselves too blinded by their ambitions. Soon. Soon it will be time and I will be revealed.........Soon. I. Will. Make.

Them.......Bleeed." The mysterious figure stretched the word with venow.

"hemhemhem, hahaha, AHAHAHAHAH!" He laughed a chilling laugh, heartless and cold. Anyone near immediately was horrified.....
