Take a Turn ... In My Head
The bed ceased to move, for the blonde who was laying on it hadn't moved an inch since Ken left the room. His eyes were closed and his ears keen on sound. TK wanted to make sure he would hear Ken when he came back. Unlike last time, when he came in surprisingly and made love to him.
"Made love to me? Ugh, what am I thinking?" TK asked himself, groaning at his own thoughts. "We just fucked. Simple as that. He raped me and then we fucked a second time. Good enough."
Though it didn't seem good enough to him. He wanted more. He couldn't believe he admitted that, but he did. He wasn't about to lie to himself; too much of that has been happening lately. Lies. Everything was a lie. TK remembered when he was talking to Davis about this plan of theirs going smoothly, and he knew that everything wasn't going to be okay. It was a feeling he had when he woke up the day they were about to leave. He should have done something to prevent it; anything.
Oh, there was nothing I could do. Damnit it all! Why me?
TK groaned and rolled to his side, hugging the pillow he was lying on protectively. If only the others knew he wasn't dead, then he wouldn't have to feel like he wanted to stay there.

Soft snores escaped Tai's nostrils as he rested his head on Matt's shoulders. Matt, too, fell asleep, only moments ago, so Izzy made an effort to remain as quiet as possible. He rose quietly and went to his computer. There, he decided to try something different. Maybe there was a way for them to get into the Digital World. They needed to get there. There was no doubt in his mind something went wrong, and even if the base was down, something else could have happened that they didn't have a plan for.
His first motive was to try contacting Gennai. Than again, he hadn't been in contact with him since the fight with Diaboramon, and Izzy had the itching feeling that Gennai wouldn't be there to help them. After a few minutes, he sent an e-mail to Mimi again, making that the ninth e-mail he had sent to her since she sent one. Sighing, he leaned back against a tree trunk, closing his eyes. Wherever the younger Digidestined were, he hoped they were safe.

Ken walked down the hallway in a steady pace. He was tired, yes, and wanted to go to asleep, but first, there were some escaping Digidestined to catch. He had planned to let them go, but then a nagging voice in the back of his mind said it would be fun to play an interesting game of hide and seek. First, he would locate them by tracking them down with their Digivices on his screen. Then he would approach them.
With a twisted smile on his face, he turned on his screen tv, smirking when he spotted four red dots on his screen.
**~**
By now the four of them were out of breath and stopped running, settling for a quick pace of walking.
"You guys. Let's stop for a second," Mimi panted, setting Kari gently on the floor.
Yolei slumped down the wall, sitting next to Kari. "I bet we outran him."
"I hope we did," Cody murmured, gazing back. "I hope we find some way out of here soon. Do you remember how you and Palmon came in?"
Mimi and Palmon both shook their heads. "No because when Ken came, we had to run the opposite direction we came through. Now I have no idea where we are," Mimi explained.
"We need a D-Terminal!" Yolei cried out in frustration.
"That wouldn't do us much good anyway. Someone would have to open the Digi-port for them."
"Oh yeah..." Yolei sighed and glanced at Mimi, giving her a questionable look.
"I don't know what to do," Mimi said bluntly. "I have no idea whatsoever."
"Oh that's great. Just great!" Yolei said sarcastically. "We might as well just give up and turn ourselves in."
"That would be a fantastic idea."
"Oh no! It's Ken!" Palmon cried out.
"You Digidestined bore me. First you hide in the most easiest spot to find and then you have your digimon say cliche things like that. Couldn't you at last be more interesting?" Ken suggested, appearing from around a corner.
"Where are Davis and TK?" Yolei suddenly asked.
"You mean you don't know? I found them dead inside my old base."
"Liar!" Cody cried out. "Where are they?"
"If you want proof, here," Ken said, tossing something in the air.
Mimi ran forward and caught it, immediately seeing what it was: a pair of goggles. Tai's goggles, to be exact. She clutched them tightly and turned back to Yolei.
"Run. Both of you get out of here now. Take Kari with you and get out of here."
"But Mimi--"
"Go!"
"That's what Davis said to us too, and now he's dead! I'm not leaving you too," said Yolei, crossing her arms.
"Yolei, listen to me. You have to get out of here. I'll catch up, don't worry about me. Now go!"
"But Mimi--"
"Yolei, come on," Cody said, already attempting to life up Kari.
Yolei gave one last look at Mimi before she ran back and picked up Kari. "Be careful," she said as she began jogging the opposite way. Cody followed suit.
"Palmon, go on."
"Mimi, I'll stay with you."
"Go. He won't hurt me. I need you to take care of Yolei, Kari and Cody. Please?"
Palmon nodded and fled after the other three. Mimi turned back.
"Go after them and you'll find yourself dead in a matter of twenty seconds."
Ken laughed. "Feisty, are we?"
"When it comes to my friends, you bet."
"What makes you think I'll listen to you?" he asked.
Mimi approached him closer, walking circles around him. "I know what you want," she said simply.
"What I want? I don't want anything."
"Oh, but you do. You're a sex driven teen."
"Excuse me?" Ken was a little taken aback from her forwardness. Since when did she know what he wanted? How?
"Don't think I don't know your type. You silent lot are always the sex fanatics, kidnapping people and other such things. That's why you captured Kari and Yolei, to sleep with them."
Ken had to admit, she had the idea down, except for wanting Yolei and Kari. That was just... sick.
"You feel alone, Ken. That's why you do the things you do," she whispered. "I can make you a deal, Ken. A satisfying deal."
Ken raised his eyebrow, resisting the urge to laugh. Mimi, trying to make a deal with him? Isn't she the ditz of the group?
She tossed the goggles to the side. "If I give myself to you and act as if I want it, you let Yolei, Kari and Cody escape."
Ken faked a yawn. "No thanks. Girls like you bore me."
Mimi scowled. "Come on, Ken. Don't be stubborn."
Come on, Mimi. I'm gay, like I'd want you.
"Again, no thanks. Girls bore me."
She walked up to him and kissed him roughly on the lips, her fingers tangling into his hair. He was about to kiss back, when his instincts told him to pull away, which he did.
"I have better things to do then kiss the likes of you." When Ken went to grab her wrist to hold her captive, she sprinted away, ducking from sight.
"Get back here! Fool, you won't escape!"

Davis felt a little confused. It was the only way to describe how he felt. One moment he wanted to tear Ken limb from limb, and the next he had the urge to be his forever. Though, now, he doubted that he would ever escape and that it would be best for him to be Ken's slave; to let Ken touch and stroke him. Davis decided it was the only way to let things be.
The more Davis thought about it, the more he felt confused and anxious. Since when were things supposed to be like this?
I try to think about Rainbows
When it gets bad
You got to think about something
To Keep from going mad
Davis quickly got dressed and sat against the wall, resting his head on his knees. Trying to think about something was utterly hopeless, it seemed, and his train of thoughts only seemed to link back to TK and Ken. Two people, both his utter desire to have and worship. Was it love or lust for either of them? Maybe he could have them both...
"Ugh, Davis! Get a grip! TK is dead and Ken just wants to fuck you."
I try to think about big fat roses
When the ship starts going down
But my head is wicked jealous
Don't want to talk about it right away
Kari, Tai, even Cody -- none of them worked to think about! Davis held his head, wanting images of Ken smirking and TK giving a grin out of his head.
"Just go away," he sobbed. "Get out of my head."

Don't cry... Don't cry...
It was a repetitive saying in Yolei's head as she tried running as fast as she could down unfamiliar corridors with Cody ahead of her, leading the way. There was no feeling of safety or closure, just one of fright and anxiety. Was Mimi okay? Where were they going? Could they escape? Was Kari going to be okay?
"Hey, it gets brighter down the end of this hallway," Cody pointed out, quickening his pace.
Yolei nodded and panted as she ran towards it. Cody was right: it was getting brighter. This base was so dim compared to the other one; she was beginning to wonder if she would ever know what light looked like again.
When they neared there, Yolei could see a giant room with a huge machine planted in the middle, reaching for the ceiling.
"What do you think it is?"
"I'm not sure," Yolei replied, shifting Kari in her arms. She glanced around, noticing something. "There's a door on the other side of this. Let's go through there and see where it takes us."
They began walking across the bright room. A foul odor entered her nostrils that caused her to cough.
"You smell it too?" Cody asked.
Palmon seemed to not be bothered by it and urged them to keep walking. They continued their trek across the wide room, all wondering what the machine was and why it was so large.
A shirt in Yolei's arms caused her to look down. She sighed as Kari began to stir.
"Yolei? Gatomon?"
Yolei stopped walking and dropped to her knees, setting Kari down. "Kari, you're awake!"
"Give her a bit of room," Cody suggested.
"Where are we?" she asked, coughing a bit.
"We're somewhere in this horrible place... we're trying to find a way out."
"Palmon, how come you're here?" the Child of Light asked.
"Because Mimi and I came together to rescue you guys."
"Mimi? Where is she?"
"With Ken," Yolei answered dully.
"With Ken? What? how come?"
In a few minutes, Kari was informed with everything that had been going on while she was unconscious. She sat for a moment, appearing to be in deep thought.
"We need help from my brother and the others. Didn't Mimi contact them?"
"She tried to, but her D-terminal ran out of batteries," Palmon replied.
"We should keep moving. It's not safe to sit like waiting ducks," Cody said nervously, looking around.
"Are you okay to walk?" Yolei asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Kari stood up and spotted the door they had been walking to before. They all began walking again.
"Well, I'll go in first." Yolei opened the door, anticipating the worse. When nothing happened, she walked into the dark tunnel. "It's just dark. Nothing wrong yet."
"Yolei, I'm coming too!" Cody called while venturing in.
Kari and Palmon looked at each other before walking in. The door shut behind them, causing Kari to gasp. When she went to turn the knob, it wouldn't budge.
"We're stuck in here! I bet it's a trap."
"No, it's not," Yolei called. "It's a tunnel. Come on."
Kari frowned. She wished Yolei were more cautious before she began to follow them.

Damn, it didn't work! Now I'm lost! Mimi sighed as she continued to run from Ken. She needed to put some distance away from him, but she had the itching feeling that he would always know where she and the others were when they were in his base. There appeared to be light at the end of the hallway she was running in.
Well, that would be stupid to run towards the light. I bet it's some kind of trap.
She ran the opposite way and when she glanced at the room, she saw a tall machine, appearing to make a lot of noise. An odd smell came from the room too, and she really didn't want to know what it was from. A few more corridors and hallways ended her a floor down and in a dark room.
"Darn it! A dead end! I guess I should have gone to the light, or at least turned left at that other corner."
Mimi began going back, realizing that she may never find her way out. There were too many twists, and she was fairly certain Ken needed a map to get around this place.

Grumbling was the only thing to do. Simple grumbling done by Davis. He sat around the room, stunned by the thoughts going through his head, for now all he could do was think about was TK. At first, it was just of guilt he felt for the blonde, not being able to save him and all. It quickly turned from that to crying, simply sitting there and pouring his eyes out. He didn't mean to let any of this happen... he hadn't wanted TK to die... It took a few minutes for him to calm down, and he quickly went from feeling that to pure rage.
Ken. The very boy who made this all possible. At that particular moment, as Davis sat in the back corner of his cell rocking back and forth, he wanted to kill Ken. His mood swings seemed to be flaring, as he felt mixed feelings towards everything. Still, when he thought of everything, the scale tended to lean towards it being Ken's fault. However...
I'm in love with him... God, I want him here right now... Maybe if I keep thinking about him, he'll somehow come and take all the pain away. No more thinking about TK... no more...
There's something about you
That gets me into a twist
And sometimes I think that Cupid
Is just taking the piss
It only takes one word or idea
To send me in a real deep
So if you think you're clever
Use the right words when you talk to me
There was something about Ken; something that caused Davis to shudder every time he imagined Ken in his Kaiser outfit. It's twisted, really, for in Davis' mind, it was a jumble of confusion, as if there was popcorn kernels popping in his head. There seemed to be a spell or some kind of curse that took place whenever Ken spoke, a force that pulled Davis into some kind of web of thoughts and confusion; all in his head. Ken did was he was good at: he had an excellent way of words.

"We should have not come this way. We should have went away from the light," Yolei stated.
"Please don't say that again... please," Cody begged.
"Okay. Sorry."
Yolei's right though. Kari swallowed and pressed on, following the pair with Palmon into the darkness. As dark as it was, it only seemed to get darker as they walked on. The darkness enveloped them with a strange feeling of discomfort and content.
"Where do you think Mimi is right now?"
The question hung in the air, as if they were all too afraid to pull it back to earth. None of them answered, and the question flew away.
**~**
Davis was laying there, simply thinking still, when suddenly Yolei and Cody walked by his dungeon cell. His eyes grew large and he followed them with them. When the shock wore off, he ran to the bars on his cage, clutching them. Palmon had just finished walking behind Yolei and Cody when Kari began walking by. It was as if a cat got his tongue because he didn't say a word, only stared at her with pleading eyes. At first she didn't notice him, but when she did, she gasped and cried out his name.
"Kari..." he croaked, hanging onto the bars tighter.
